Vinous 94 Points | The first of the two white wines, the 2024 Versante Nord is a blend of varieties sourced from six different vineyards at varying altitudes from the north side of the valley, which receives more sunlight during the day. It has open, inviting aromas of stone fruit and pineapple, panna cotta, ginger, toasted brioche and honey. Bodegas Los Bermejos is one of Lanzarote's most celebrated producers — farming indigenous varieties on one of the world's most extraordinary and otherworldly wine landscapes. Lanzarote is a volcanic island in the Atlantic Ocean off the northwest coast of Africa, where centuries of eruptions have blanketed the terrain in black lapilli — a porous volcanic ash that retains moisture and insulates the vines from the island's fierce winds and intense sun. Decanter 94 Points | Gorgeously scented on the nose, smooth, round and focused with purity and persistence. Tannins are so fine, really sculpting this wine, with a clear bite and almost strict tang to the overall structure giving a sense of tension. I like the terroir aspect, the saltiness but still with juicy richness. Less ample than Bellefonte but more precise. 

The Wine Advocate 93+ Points | This first vintage under the denomination of Grand Cru Classé, the 2022 Tour Saint Christophe is excellent, offering up aromas of spices, cassis, dark wild berries, orange peel and licorice mingled with delicate oaky notes. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, it's layered and textured and framed by powdery, velvety tannins enhanced by a racy, pure, fresh finish. It should gain raciness with some time in the cellar.

Pied a Terre Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 2018 750ml

2018 was the first “normal” vintage in many years — none of the climatic difficulties that complicated the previous decade. Moderate weather led to a long, smooth growing season, allowing grapes to ripen gracefully. The result: a Cabernet of great structure and concentration, true to Sonoma’s terroir.

Truchard Estate Chardonnay shows complex nose of pineapple, lemon, quince, and honeysuckle, with slight hints of nutmeg, fig, and toasted oak. The mouth is clean and bright, with flavors of green apple, fresh pear, and Meyer lemon. Firm acidity provides a crisp finish of citrus, mineral, and spice.
