Casamigos Blanco Tequila 100% Blue Weber Agave — 1 Liter

Casamigos was born from a simple idea: create the perfect tequila to drink with friends. Co-founded by George Clooney and Rande Gerber, the brand quickly became one of the fastest-growing premium tequilas in the world — and for good reason. Casamigos Blanco is crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave grown in the rich clay soils of the Highlands of Jalisco, slow-roasted for 72 hours and distilled to exceptional smoothness. No burn, no bite — just pure, clean agave character that works beautifully on its own or in any cocktail.

Crystal clear in the glass, the nose is restrained and fresh — citrus, green agave, and light vanilla. The palate is smooth and approachable, with mild agave sweetness, lemon zest, ginger, and white pepper, finishing clean with a candied lemon peel note. One of the most consistently crowd-pleasing blancos on the market, and a staff favorite at 67 Wine.

La Gritona | Reposado | 100% Blue Agave | Jalisco Highlands, Mexico | NOM 1533

67Wine Staff Pick — Oscar Garcia Moncada: One of my favorite sipping Reposado Tequilas on the market. Subtle notes of citrus with cooked nopales. Great for sipping or mixed in your favorite cocktails.

La Gritona is the passion project of Melly Cardenas, a female distiller working out of a small, fiercely independent distillery (NOM 1533) in the highlands of Jalisco — one of Mexico's most celebrated tequila-producing regions, known for its red volcanic soils and the exceptional quality of its blue agave. Everything about La Gritona is intentional and hands-on: from the agave harvested at peak sugar production and delivered to the ovens within 24 hours of cutting, to the hand-blown recycled glass bottles made by artisans in the Guadalajara neighborhood of Tlaquepaque.

The agave is baked in thick-walled earthen ovens for 24 hours, then rested for another 24 hours before crushing. The collected juice is allowed to ferment naturally — at a rate dictated solely by the surrounding air temperature, with no added yeasts or shortcuts. The fermented liquid is distilled twice, then rested for 8 months in reused American whiskey barrels before filtering and bottling. Every step of production takes place under one roof, overseen by a small team of local staff. Agave remnants are given to local farmers as cattle feed — nothing goes to waste.

The result is a Reposado of genuine character: subtle and distinctive, with the warmth and depth of barrel aging balanced by the bright, vegetal freshness of highland agave. The nose offers cooked agave, citrus peel and a whisper of vanilla and oak. The palate is smooth and approachable, with flavors of roasted agave, nopales, citrus and gentle spice, leading to a clean, lingering finish. Exceptional for sipping neat or on the rocks, and equally at home in a premium cocktail.

• NOM: 1533
• Style: Reposado Tequila
• Agave: 100% Blue Weber Agave
• Region: Jalisco Highlands, Mexico
• Cooking: Earthen ovens, 24 hours

Herradura Silver Tequila 100% Blue Agave — 1.0 Liter

Casa Herradura is one of Mexico’s most historic and respected tequila estates, founded in 1870 in Amatitán, Jalisco — a town that sits at the very heart of tequila country. For over 150 years, Herradura has been synonymous with quality, tradition, and innovation: they were among the first to age tequila in oak barrels, and their Silver remains one of the most decorated blancos in the world. Crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave and aged for 45 days in oak barrels — longer than most blancos — Herradura Silver occupies a unique space between the freshness of an unaged blanco and the complexity of a rested spirit.

Light straw in color, with a marvelously animated bouquet of vibrant herbal and earthy aromas — dill, green pepper, mace, hemp, and tilled earth. The palate is intensely herbal and keenly peppery, with brine, dill, soil, and light spice driven by bright acidity. The finish is smooth, clean, and warming — as peppery and forceful as it began. Absolutely perfect for cocktails, and exceptional sipped neat. Now in a 1.0 Liter.

Producer Description

Balanced Agave With Apple And Herbal Notes, Slightly Woody on the nose, fine Agave, herbal and green apple notes. With a medium to full bodied spirit with warm, slightly astringent finish.

El Tesoro Reposado is a benchmark Highlands tequila from one of Mexico's most storied distilling families — the Camarenas of La Alteña Distillery in the Jalisco Highlands. Crafted from 100% blue Weber agave, slowly crushed by a traditional volcanic stone tahona wheel, and aged 8 to 11 months in American oak barrels — well beyond the two-month legal minimum — this is a Reposado of uncommon depth, texture, and authenticity.

The nose is warm and inviting: cooked agave, vanilla, and toasted oak mingle with a gentle earthiness that speaks directly to the terroir of the Highlands. On the palate, the wine is round and richly layered, with caramel, dried fruit, and a whisper of baking spice, all carried by a long, smooth finish with lingering sweetness. Mellow and balanced, yet never soft — this is tequila with something to say.

The tahona process — labor-intensive and increasingly rare — extracts maximum flavor and complexity from the roasted piñas, yielding a spirit that is earthy, textured, and deeply expressive. A true sipping tequila, best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to appreciate its full character.

Exceptional in a premium Tommy's Margarita or Paloma. Pairs beautifully with grilled meats, dark chocolate, and aged cheeses.

One of the most important aspects of G4 Tequila Reposado is its production process. The agave plants are carefully selected, hand-harvested, and cooked in traditional brick ovens to extract the sweet nectar. The extracted juice is then fermented using natural yeast, which adds complexity and depth to the final product.

After fermentation, the tequila undergoes a double distillation process in copper stills. This method helps to preserve the natural flavors and aromas of the agave, resulting in a smooth and refined spirit.

G4 Tequila Reposado is aged for a minimum of 8 months in American oak barrels, which imparts a rich golden color and adds layers of complexity to the tequila. During this aging process, the flavors of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak are infused into the spirit, creating a harmonious balance between the agave and the wood.

The aroma of G4 Tequila Reposado is inviting and enticing. It offers a delicate blend of cooked agave, citrus, and floral notes, with a hint of spice. On the palate, the tequila is smooth and velvety, with a perfect balance of sweetness and earthiness. What sets G4 Tequila Reposado apart is its commitment to quality and tradition. The brand is owned by the Sauza family, who have been producing tequila for over 140 years. The master distiller, Felipe Camarena, is a fourth-generation tequila producer and is known for his dedication to preserving traditional production methods while incorporating modern techniques.

Speaking of production, Dos Artes takes pride in their traditional crafting methods. Named after the 818 area code — home to Kendall — the brand works closely with local, family-owned farms in Jalisco, Mexico, sourcing only the highest quality Blue Weber Agave and maintaining a deep commitment to sustainability and supply chain transparency throughout every step of production.

The Reposado takes everything that makes the 818 Blanco exceptional and adds a layer of oak complexity. Aged for a minimum of three months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, it develops a pale straw color with golden hues and a medium body, with the agave character beautifully integrated with warm, toasty oak notes. The result is a Reposado of genuine depth and smoothness — approachable enough for cocktails, refined enough to sip neat.

Cooked agave, light pecan, caramel, mild vanilla, sweet spices, and dried apricot on the nose. The palate delivers slow-cooked agave, honey, toasted almonds, toffee, and dried fruit, finishing warm and smooth with notes of cooked agave, pecan pie, and soft vanilla.

About the Spirit

Pantalones Tequila Reposado 80 is an organic, super-premium reposado aged for 9 months in American oak barrels. That extended rest (longer than the typical 2–6 month reposado) imparts a smooth, balanced character with gentle wood influence while preserving the agave’s natural expression. Bottled at 80 proof.

Tasting Notes

Cooked agave, vanilla, toasted oak, and subtle caramel. Warm and approachable with a smooth, mellow finish that lingers.

Serving Suggestions

• Neat or on the rocks — the oak aging and vanilla notes reward slow sipping.
• Old Fashioned (tequila style) — the caramel and oak character substitutes beautifully for whiskey.

Expert Review

Beverage Testing Institute | Clear. Plantain custard, anise cookie, and sweet potato aromas. A soft, delicate entry leads to a dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body of sea salt, grilled papaya and pineapple, floral honey, and green peppercorn flavors. Finishes with a long, warming interplay of white pepper, star anise, and dried tropical fruit. Delicious.

Serving & Pairing

Pour neat, or use it in margaritas and palomas. At the table, pair with spicy tacos, ceviche, grilled fish, or fresh tropical fruit.
