Marques de Caceres Crianza Rioja Alta 2021 750ml
Our Professional Review
Oscar Garcia Lead Wine Sommelier 67Wine.com | One of Rioja's benchmark Crianzas. A well-rounded red that delivers a solid drinking experience. Late spring of 2017 I had the pleasure to be in Rioja and although a late frost damaged some of the buds, the quality in what survived is fairly consistent.
Aromas of plum compote, cassis and notes of cinnamon and cloves. Medium-bodied with polished and pleasant tannins. Consistent and satisfying finish. Pair with beef-stews or any rice dishes such as Shrimp-fried rice.

E. Guigal Cotes du Rhone ROUGE 2022 750ml FULL SIZE
Winemaker Description
The 2022 Rhône vintage faced extreme heat and drought, with the hottest and driest growing season since 1950, surpassing even the 2003 vintage. Dry conditions in winter and spring were followed by intense heatwaves in June and July, causing significant stress on the vines. Mid-August rainfall provided some relief, promoting ripening, but yields were still notably low. The resulting wines are concentrated and full-bodied, with rich fruit.
Charcuterie, braises
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2022
Jeb Dunnuck - 91 Points - May 9, 2025 "The Cotes Du Rhone is smoking good, offering up blackberries, pepper, and garrigue in a round, supple, medium to full-bodied style. Based on 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache, and 10% Mourvèdre, partially aged in oak foudres, this impressive effort shows remarkable quality for the appellation.
The Wine Enthusiast - 91 Points - December 1, 2025 "Black plum and cocoa-dusted, white-button-mushroom aromas bump against raspberry and black tea, on the nose. The palate is fulsome in body yet reserved in flavor with red fruit riding all the way to the finish that is made more complex by velvety tannins that demure.
The Wine Advocate - 90 Points - November 20, 2025 "Notes of lilac, dark cherries and flowers preface Guigal’s 2022 Côtes du Rhône, a juicy, round and elegant wine that is also remarkably dense for the vintage and represents excellent value.

Saint Cosme Cotes du Rhone 2024 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2024
The Wine Spectator 90 Points by Kristen Bieler 90 Points | There's a pure core of fresh blackberry, crunchy plum and violet in this vibrant version, with the subtlest brushing of vanilla. Layers of graphite and fine-grained tannins provide a solid framework. Compact, with savory details emerging toward the solid, medium-bodied finish, which is grounded in salty mineral notes and a waft of alder smoke. Drink now through 2028. 27,000 cases imported.
Winemaker Description
Château de Saint Cosme has been in the hands of the Barruol family since 1490. Louis Barruol took over from his father in 1992. Saint Cosme Côtes-du-Rhône is produced from 100% Syrah and is from the the stony Villafranchian terraces of the Gard. The vineyards are known for their limestone sand, red clay, and pebbles, which give a freshness and intensity to the Syrah grapes. The wine is partially destemmed, fermented with natural yeasts, and vinified in concrete vats.
This Syrah grows in ideal terroirs of the southern Rhône and shows the varietal’s typical spicy notes of sandalwood, violets, and black pepper.
Syrah, with its deep flavors and firm tannins, is a natural match for grilled or smoked meat and dishes featuring herbs, roasted mushrooms, and onions. Seared venison or beef with black pepper and thyme or a Moroccan tagine of pigeon or chicken are complimented by the spicy characteristic of Syrah.
Memo Summary Notes
Given its primary Syrah focus and spicy, dark-fruit character, it pairs well with:
-
Grilled and Smoked Meats (especially beef or venison with black pepper).
-
Roasted Pork and Duck.
-
Dishes featuring herbs (thyme, rosemary), mushrooms, and onions.

G.D. Vajra Barbera d'Alba 2024 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2024
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points | A bright ruby/magenta color, the 2024 Barbera D'Alba is spicy and lifted on the nose with notes of pepper, fresh herbs, and bright red fruit shining through. The palate is zesty and lively, with electric energy, refreshing, focused acidity, and a compact linear feel. It has a cooling sensation on the palate. Drink over the next several years. This is not a Barbera for volume of richness; it’s about the crunchy, bright fruit, and it will be best enjoyed while it retains its lively nerve.

Erath Pinot Noir Oregon 2022 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2022
Michael Alberty of the Wine Enthusiast writes 89 Points | Even with 3% Syrah thrown in for good measure, this is one light Pinot Noir that's driven more by its laser-beam acidity than body or tannic structure. Blackberry and lemon aromas are matched by forest- floor notes of pine-needle duff and mushrooms. A tart, not-quite-rip blackberry flavor melds with olive oil and saline notes.

The 2022 Erath Oregon Pinot Noir expresses the benefits of an extended growing season, offering enchanting aromas of forest berries and lichen. Expert Ratings - Vintage 2019
Georgina Hindle of Decanter 90 Points writes | Blue fruits and cola cubes on the nose. Linear and direct, this is powerful but restrained, with a core of dark, juicy fruits and a mineral undertow giving freshness and a velvety-smooth texture to the tannins. Needs more time to expand and be fully expressive, but this is nice and one I want another glass of. Can be enjoyed today with some time in carafe or hold on for a few more years. Drinking 2022 - 2029.
James Suckling 90 Points | Aromas of blackberries, sweet tobacco and some crushed stones follow through to a medium body with a pretty core of fruit and well-integrated tannins. Give it a year or two to soften. Drink after 2024.
Jeb Dunnuck writes | Black cherries, candied violets, spicy oak, and floral notes all emerge from the 2019 Château La Vaisinerie, a medium-bodied, soft, supple, nicely textured, and impeccably balanced Puisseguin. It's already drinking nicely and should have a solid 8-10 years of prime drinking. - Jeb Dunncuk
Neal Martin writes | The 2019 La Vaisinerie has thankfully dispensed with the New World ambitions that I found on the nose before, now displaying more refinement and focus. The palate is medium-bodied and pure, with supple tannins, fine acidity and a sensual finish. I am happy to raise my score. - Vinous

James Suckling 91 Points | A juicy red that has notes of warm spices, orange rind and black fruit on the nose. It’s medium-bodied and deliciously fruity, with medium tannins and a bright finish.
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points | A youthful ruby/magenta color, the 2023 Nero d'Avola Alto Reale is a softer style of Nero d'Avola, raised in a combination of stainless steel and oak barrels. It reveals notes of ripe cherries, pine, sage, and fresh crushed flowers. Often, I feel like Nero leans toward oxidation, but they do a nice job of keeping the freshness. Medium-bodied, it’s light on its feet, with fine tannins, clean lift, and a finessed, easygoing finish.
Winemaker Description
Nero d’Avola gives this wine a red passion color, hints of ripe fruit and an intense and harmonious taste. Immediate and direct but not trivial, it differs in the altitude at which its grapes are grown, which allows for a fresher wine, with delicate tannins and easy to drink style.
Ruffino Chianti Classico Riserva Ducale TAN LABEL 2021 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2021
The Wine Spectator 93 Points | There's intensity to this red, which showcases cherry, boysenberry and blood orange flavors. Iron, underbrush and tobacco notes peek through as this builds to the lingering aftertaste. Verges on racy courtesy of the bracing acidity. Excellent length. Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Castello di Volpaia Chianti Classico Organic 2022 750ml
Winemaker Description
The Chianti Classico has a vivid ruby color and a strong nose of fresh red fruit with hints of cherry. This is a well-structured wine with a fruity finish.
The 2023 vintage began with a warm winter with little rain. May and June were cold with heavy rains that caused several problems with downy mildew throughout Italy. In July temperatures rose a lot and the summer was hot and dry with some rains in late August that allowed the grapes to complete ripening.
Decanter by Michaela Morris 91 Points | The 2023 Chianti Classico is a very pretty, classy wine that captures the essence of Radda in its bright, lifted personality. Crushed flowers, chalk, mint, white pepper and cranberry all grace this perfumed, lithe Chianti Classico.
Memo Summary Notes
Volpaia is one of the most stunning estates in Italy, located in a fortified medieval village. Because the vineyards are among the highest in the Chianti Classico zone (up to 600 meters), the wines have a "cool-climate" elegance that sets them apart from the heavier, more muscular Chiantis found in the valleys.

Juicy berry character with a lift of spices bringing energy and vitality on the palate and onto the tactile finish. Drink now. - James Suckling 92
Bruce Sanderson writes: Walking the line between cherry and berry flavors and earth and iron notes, this red is bright and juicy midpalate, firming up on the long finish. Balanced overall, needing a year to knit together. Best from 2026 through 2033. - Wine Spectator 90
Michaela Morris writes: At the southeastern end of Chianti Classico, the Fèlsina property spills into the Chianti Colli Senesi zone where, on a clear day you can see all the way to Siena, just 15km away. Harnessing its sunbathed setting, the 2022 is immediate and effusive in its charms. It evokes Maritime pine, scrubby Mediterranean brush and wild yellow broom, building in concentration as it glides fluently across the palate, where rocky minerals meet ripe strawberry. Vibrant, if a bit brisk to finish. Drinking 2024 to 2029. - Decanter 91

Montinore Pinot Noir Red Cap Willamette Valley Organic Biodynamic 2023 750ml
Winemaker Description - Vintage 2023
Fruit-forward aromas, including crushed red raspberry, Bing cherry and red currant, are supported by savory undertones of wet forest floor, morel mushroom and a hint of tar. On the palate, the wine shows medium acidity and an approachable yet structured tannin profile with a good mid-palate concentration of fruit. Bright red fruits envelop the palate and glide into a fruit-forward finish where the minerality provides extra complexity.
