The 2022 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is a textbook expression of the house style — rich, structured, and approachable without sacrificing depth.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in the glass. Aromas of cassis, dark cherry, and black olive give way to a palate of dark plum and cherry preserves, with a lingering note of roasted coffee bean on the finish. Smooth tannins and vibrant acidity keep the wine lively and food-friendly.
Food Pairings
A natural partner for grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, lamb chops, and aged hard cheeses. Also excellent alongside hearty pasta with meat sauce.

Choose when time is of the essence
Fruit for our Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon comes from our estate vineyards in the Sonoma and Russian River Valleys, as well as from growers in Sonoma County’s other top appellations, including Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley. Each carefully selected vineyard contributes distinctive and individual qualities to the finished wine.
Classic aromas and flavors of ripe black currant, spicy tobacco and cedar are accompanied by full body and firm structure. An excellent companion to aged blue cheese, beef, roast pork and venison.
Jim Gordon writes: A good, solid-quality wine with plenty of ripe fruit flavors, a full body and medium tannins. Elements of sweet oak like cinnamon, cedar and vanilla bean top off good red and black cherry notes. Drink now. - James Suckling
