Luigi Fanti is the 5th generation owner of the farm located on a windswept hill overlooking the Sant' Antimo Abbey, a couple of kilometers southeast of the town of Montalcino. Luigi, his wife and two sons are completely hands-on, managing every aspect of the growing cycle and vinification process to produce the highest quality wine using natural and organic methods. The wines are made in a very traditional and elegant style, using only large oak for aging.
"Dark, bright ruby red with brightening edges. On the nose, ripe wild berries, milk chocolate, also shows floral hints, dense. Fresh on the palate, with clear, rich fruit and a compact body, also shows fine savoriness and firm drive, with a slight after-dry finish."
