A serious but approachable regional Burgundy with layers of clearly defined red stone fruits and loamy Burgundian earth. The fruit is unencumbered by oak and the wine finishes long and crisp. Quite delicious.

Domaine Joseph Voillot is a small, traditional family estate based in Volnay, one of the Côte de Beaune’s most celebrated villages for Pinot Noir. Founded by Joseph Voillot and now run by his son-in-law Jean-Pierre Charlot, the domaine farms its vineyards with meticulous care, producing wines of genuine Burgundian character — elegant, terroir-driven, and built for the table rather than the trophy cabinet. Their Bourgogne Vieilles Vignes is sourced from old vines averaging over 50 years of age in and around Volnay, giving it a depth and complexity that far exceeds its appellation status. Unoaked and vinified with minimal intervention, it is one of the finest value Burgundies on the market.
