Showing vivacity, concentration and brightness, the Estate wines are crafted from both our glacial stones and windblown clay terroirs. Combining the best nuances of Marlborough and our Sancerre heritage, this organic Sauvignon Blanc is our flagship wine from the Clos Henri estate in Blenheim. 

Clos Henri Estate Sauvignon Blanc (formerly known as Petit Clos Sauvignon Blanc) offers notes of peach and nectarine are paired with elderflower and soft gunflint minerality. Textural, with zingy acidity and a flinty, mineral nuance this wine is both fresh and concentrated.

Enjoy on its own as an aperitif or with fresh shellfish as well as with ceviche, Thai green curry, tomato and goat’s cheese tart.

Cam Douglas 94 Points | Elegant, sophisticated, ripe, varietal and inviting bouquet. Aromas and flavours of citrus fruits and white stone fruit, some pear, apple and pith. The herbaceous character expected of SB is a quieter more refined layer in this example. The minerality is a core component of both the aromas and flavour package. Light-weight, crisp, dry and refreshing with a long finish. Balanced, well made and youthful. This wine will reward from today and through 2029+ if cellared properly. (2023). 

Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc is distinctively New Zealand – clean, fresh and easy drinking. Lovely tropical fruit flavors make it a great wine with chicken and seafood dishes or just to drink on its own. Winemaker Description. 

Straw yellow color with green tints. An intense and persistent nose with scents of flowers and plants, rosemary, thyme and sage. On the palate, clear predominance of vegetal notes, warm and full of good thickness and balanced with a long persistence. Winemaker Description.

A wonderful aperitif and equally splendid with pasta in cream sauces, risottos, veal, chicken and fresh seafood dishes.

Pale straw with a hint of green and gold. Complex and elegant Sauvignon Blanc bouquet, with citrus blossom and wild flowers, surrounded by crushed ripe herbs and pineapple. Dense fruit core of juicy melon and peach complemented by hints of ripe herbs and florals. Beautifully rounded with layer upon layer of texture, this wine has a long, complex finish with plenty of minerality, citrus, ripe stone fruit and an umami quality.

The nose is fresh with aromas of honeysuckle and citrus fruit. This medium bodied California Chardonnay is food-friendly with bright acidity and creaminess on the palate. Ripe pear, lemon curd, and vanilla flavors lead to a clean and lively finish. Winemaker Description.

Eric Guido writes:  The 2023 Kerner is delicately floral in the glass, with a whiff of sweet spice and candied lime forming its bouquet. This is built on energy with vibrant acidity and a combination of saline minerals and tart citrus, adding a zesty character throughout. A particular specialty of the Valle Isarco. Greenish to bright yellow in color. Peaches, apricots, and tones of tangerines on the nose. Very lively, juicy, and sleek on the palate, with a mineral-rich finish. Winemaker Description. 

The color of the wine is bright and limpid. The nose is floral and fruity. Very straightforward and direct on the palate, as if biting into a grape. Fresh and light, with a very pleasant finish. 100% Chardonnay

This bright, zesty Sauvignon Blanc delivers great aromatic complexity by opening with aromas of fresh lime, lemon verbena and gooseberry. On the palate are flavors of lime, tangy star fruit and a hint of green mango. The long chiseled finish exhibits a wonderful slate minerality followed by juicy fresh citrus notes.

A rich and memorable Chardonnay with creamy notes of vanilla bean, almond and a touch of tropical fruit. Balanced acidity and savory oak lead to a long, smooth finish. Winemaker Description. 

90 Points Wine Advocate | The 2022 Moscofilero (in the Skouras transliteration) comes in with 3.5 grams of residual sugar, 6.4 of total acidity and 12.1% alcohol. This is sourced from 31-year-old vines at 650 meters in altitude. As I like to say, this "regular" Moschofilero (Skouras has an alternative spelling) is the kinder and gentler version as compared to Skouras's Salto in this report. This rounds off the acidity that the Salto shows and balances it with a little sugar, resulting in a wine that is less tart but not even a little sweet. Like its Salto sibling, though, this is beautifully structured, showing some tension on the lingering finish. The fruit is more expressive than on the Salto, but its not completely developed. The Salto may have some more upside potential, but this seems to be the better-balanced wine this year. It should also age pretty decently, perhaps for the rest of the decade. Be conservative there, though. For the moment, giving it a couple of months more in the bottle wouldn't hurt.

On the palate the wine is bright, ripe and full-bodied, with a lovely girdle of acidity, superb mineral drive, fine focus and a long, perfectly balanced and complex finish. The core of the "La Pépie" Sur Lie bottling is the 10-hectare heart of the Pépière estate, which is part of the Clisson cru in the tiny commune of Pépière near the winery; there is also a significant percentage of their cru Château Thébaud fruit typically, as well as some purchased fruit from a nearby organic farmer friend in the mix. Lovely nose, intense and floral, reminiscent of Meyer lemon and orchard fruit like pear and apple. The palate is fresh and elegant, intense and mineral, with nicely framed oak and a touch of vanilla; the mouthfeel is creamy and long, with notes of biscuit, pie crust and meringue. Delightful to drink right now but it will continue to develop and last for at least 15 to 20 year.  Winemaker Description.

New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is almost always what people have in mind when this classic grape gets lauded or derided. For the LWLs of the world (Ladies Who Lunch), this is the beverage of choice. Those who love it, LOVE it and the haters hate it for the same reasons. Anthony ‘Ant’ Moore’s Sauvignon Blanc is like an olive branch to both sides. Originally an Aussie, he moved to Marlborough on the South Island in the early 2000s and was hooked. He uses a French approach (old oak barrels and extended lees aging) to balance that searing acidity typical of NZ Sauvignon Blanc and curb some of the typical ‘greenness’. The result is a veritable fruit basket of tropical proportions. Kiwi, pineapple, spearmint, and crunchy apple. Pair with any sunny moment or crunchy salad.
