Grgich Hills Chardonnay Napa Biodynamic 2021 375ml HALF BOTTLE
Producer Description
This Chardonnay entices you with aromas of fresh peach, Asian pear, citrus, and honeycomb. The flavors are just as complex with delightful undertones of red pepper and Madagascar vanilla, followed by fresh lemon, green apple, wildflower honey, stone fruit, and a hint of lavender. The rich, dense texture is balanced by its juicy acidity, leading to great minerality and a long, satisfying finish.
Expert Reviews
James Suckling 92 Points | Attractive crunchy character with spiced pears, lemon pith, white tea, lemongrass and orange peel. It is full-bodied with creamy texture, vivid acidity and juicy crunchiness. It is both rich and fresh with a polished, mineral finish. From organically grown grapes. (v.2021).
Wine & Spirits 92 Points | Zesty reduction gives the meatier aspects of this wine a run for their money. This is generous, dynamic and cool, needing some bottle age to shed the reductive scallion notes and reveal more of its underlying complexities.(v.2021).
Dry Creek Vineyard Chardonnay DCV Block 10 Russian River Valley 2022 750ml
Producer Description
Located in the cool Russian River Valley, the DCV Block 10 vineyard tends to ripen slowly, providing grapes that are deliciously balanced. This balanced Chardonnay carries aromas of peach, green apple and lime with notes of candied ginger, allspice, cream soda and a touch of minerality.
The palate is full of intense, rich flavors of Asian pear, mango and Meyer lemon, with striking nuances of ruby grapefruit, honeydew melon and vanilla bean.
Traces of spice from its brief barrel aging contribute to its harmonious and bright mouthfeel. Excellent immediate drinkability, although the wine does have potential to age well for 1–3 years."
Cade Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2023 750ml
Producer Description
Our 2023 Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of grapefruit, lime zest, white flowers, white peach, lemon grass, and orange peel. On the palate are aromas of pineapple, guava, tropical fruit, Asian pear, candied lemon, and green melon. The wine has a bright acidity and wonderful texture on the mid-palate.
While the core of this wine is Sauvignon Blanc, the Musqué, Sémillon, and Viognier add a lot of floral notes and viscosity to this vintage. We captured these wonderful floral notes by fermenting each variety separately in concrete eggs, stainless steel drums, and tanks.
The French oak barrels, in which 10% of the wine aged in, were very lightly toasted to preserve the delicate fruity aromas and provide a creamy texture to the mid-palate of the wine.
Bodegas Escudero Serna Imperial Rioja Blanco NV 750ml

I Favati, Fiano di Avellino Pietramara 2022 750ml
Producer Description
The Fiano di Avellino takes its name from the variety that the Latins called Vitis Apiana. The grapes were so sweet that they proved irresistible to bees (“api”).
The wine, which was already highly appreciated in the Middle Ages, originated several millennia ago. An order for three “salme” (a measure) of Fiano is entered in the register of Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II. Charles d’Anjou must have enjoyed the wine as well, since he had 16,000 Fiano vines planted in the royal vineyards.
Fresh and minerally, slightly smoky with notes of lemon peel and pear. Medium body, excellent fruit, long finish carries a note of grilled pineapple and dried fruits. Food Pairings: Perfect as an aperitif
Domäne Serrig Riesling Kabinett Vogelsang 2020 750ml 97 pts WA
Expert Reviews
Wine Advocate 97 Points | Basket pressed and vinified in traditional oak and stainless steel, the 2020 Vogelsang Kabinett is pure, bright and fresh on the highly delicate and flinty nose that shows precise and elegant fruit intertwined with the serious, flinty minerality of the gray and red slate soils of the domaine plus coolish vegetal nuances of nettles and mint. Round and intense yet light and filigreed on the palate, this is a pure, lush and round yet also very mineral, beautifully playful and palate-tickling Kabinett with less reduction than Molitor's Kabinetts usually show at this early stage. The sweetness is discreet and counterpointed by the immense mineral and saline drive. The finish is spectacularly long and tensioned, extremely complex and stimulating even at this age. This classic Kabinett reminds me of finest Scharzhofberger Kabinetts from Egon Müller. It is straight, sustainably saline, aromatic and charming. Even though they have been produced since 2017, the 2020 Rieslings from the steep Vogelsang site in Serrig (Saar) are the first that Markus Molitor has brought to market under the name "Ehemalige Domäne Serrig." The former Prussian state domaine, built in 1904 as a model domaine at the time of Emperor Wilhelm II—i.e., 20 years before the Domäne Assmannshausen in the Rheingau, which specializes in Pinot Noir—had its heyday until World War II (including the 1921 Trockenbeerenauslese) but went to the dogs after the war. The privatization at the end of the 1980s did nothing to change. (v.2020).
James Suckling 95 Points | Very fresh and delicate nose of an entire garden of herbs, yellow grapefruit and pomelo. Juicier than the nose suggested with stacks of white tree fruits and citrus zest freshness on the medium-bodied palate, this is a youthful and very elegant riesling for the 2020 vintage. Emphatically dry and long for this theoretically off-dry category, but also finely etched. This has just reached its best youthful drinking form, but the party has only just begun! Drink or hold. (v.2020).
Vinous 95 Points | The 2020 Riesling Serriger Vogelsang Kabinett is subtle on the nose, opening with smokier hints of slate that still clouds lemon and riper, juicier notions. It is on the palate that the full playfulness of that fruit becomes apparent: this is a Kabinett in a classic sense, off-dry rather than outright sweet, with tender notions of sweetish Mirabelle, citrus blossom and mandarin juice, encompassed by a stony, citric verve. Such lightness, such elegance, such poise, such brightness. The finish flickers with an overtone of pineapple, as befits the sunny 2020 vintage, but retains tone, tension and, above all, flavor. (v.2020).
Hatzidakis Santorini Familia Assyrtiko 2023 750ml
Producer Description
Soft yellow colour with golden shades and delicate aromas of citrus, white flowers and minerality. Full and aromatic on the palate with an intensive mineral character. Long aftertaste with a certain freshness coming from the crunching acidity of the wine.
Santorini Familia Hatzidakis Winery is an emotional Greek wine that marks the transition of the winery to the hands of the children and the family of the late Haridimos. Some of the best, ungrafted vines give the best fruit, for a classic and beloved Santorini!
Haridimos Hatzidakis was a charismatic creator. He was a creator and not just a winemaker because his wines were works of art that generated feelings and made even better memories. Hatzidakis made wines of minor interventions, with indigenous yeasts and from ungrafted vines long before it became a trend! The gap he left, as well as his legacy, is huge. All family members joined forces to continue his work, bottling their love in Santorini Familia Hatzidakis Winery.
Selected 15 - 80-year-old vines of Assyrtiko in Pyrgos give their super-concentrated, precious Prod. The harvest is done manually and the wine fermented with indigenous yeasts, in stainless steel tanks. It matured for 6 months and then it was bottled unfiltered.

Gobelsburg Gruner Veltliner Ried Renner 2021 750ml
Our Professional Review
Rand of 67Wine.com writes | This singe vineyard Gruner Veltliner jumps out of the glass with loads of ripe berry, peach, and apple fruit encircled by a wreath of dusty flowers and herbs which continue on the palate. Carries itself with great authority.\
Producer Description
Ried Renner is situated on the bottom slope of the Ried Gaisberg Riesling terraces. The soil structure here is deeper and offers more water retention than the primary rock higher on the slopes, making it perfect for growing top quality Grüner Veltliner. The soil here is classic Kamptal loess, but with a high proportion of eroded material from the primary rock(para-gneiss, amphibolite, and mica) subsoil of this vineyard.
Expert Review
Vinous 94 Points | The 2021 Grüner Veltliner Ried Renner, picked in a site of alluvial deposits mixed with loess, opens with a tone of honey, denoting an extra year of age. The palate, however, is fluid freshness, scented around the edges with gentle pepper alongside softer notions of chervil, yarrow. The yeasty aspect on the mid-palate is bright, light and lemony. This is a picture of freshness and harmony, where ripe stone fruit makes another appearance just before the smooth, serene finish—a picture of equanimity and understated harmony, with a lemon aftertaste. (Bone-dry). (v.2021)
Wine Enthusiast 93 Points | This is ripe, with verbena, citrus-oil, white-peach and Jonagold apple flavors seamlessly layered, but there's firm acidity to keep this balanced. Spice details are carrying through a long, floral finish. Still a bit tight, but this unfurls nicely with air. Aleks Zecevic. (v.2021).
The Wine Advocate 93 Points | The 2021 Ried Renner 1–TW is pure, fine and mineral on the nose that also displays a ripe, yellow stone fruit aroma as if this Grüner Veltliner had been kissed by Riesling. Very elegant and refined on the palate, this is a lush, intense, slightly creamy-textured Renner Veltliner with substance, intensity and fine tannin grip. It has very good and aromatic length. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at Schloss Grafenegg, September 2023. (v.2021).

Luis Perez El Muelle de Olaso Blanco VdT Cadiz 2023 750ml
Winemaker Notes
Blend: 100% Palomino Fino
Critic Notes
93 Pts James Suckling: Aromas of dried pineapple, apple and light caramel. Medium to full body. Light honey and cedar flavors. Made mostly in stainless with some natural fino in the blend. This is blended from two top vineyards of Jerez: Macharnudo and Carrascal.
93 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: The 2023 El Muelle de Olaso comes from a warm year but less warm than 2022 and more balanced. It was produced with Palomino grapes from 40- to 50-year-old vines on "barajuela" laminar albariza marl soils fermented mostly in stainless steel (80%) and only 20% in bota. It matured in stainless steel for six months. Pérez confessed that the wine has a little more Macharnudo wine this vintage (and in 2024, it will represent 75% of the wine). The wine is still a baby, primary and undeveloped but with a lot of finesse; it's a year of less concentration, and it has nuance and detail, a fine thread and a long, clean and tasty finish.
Domaine Leflaive MEURSAULT 1er Cru Sous Le Dos d'Ane Biodynamic 2022 750ml
Critic Notes
Alain Meadows writes: Here too the beautifully layered nose is decidedly cool with its more citrus-suffused aromas of green apple, wet stone and crushed fennel. The more refined, if slightly less concentrated, medium weight flavors flash an almost pungent minerality on the beautifully textured, bone-dry and sneaky long finale. This chiseled effort will need at least a few years of cellaring first as it's quite tightly wound today. - Burghound 95 ♥️

The cooler coastal vineyards of Casablanca are perfectly suited for Sauvignon Blanc. Maritime breezes keep temperatures cool, while the daytime sun encourages a lengthy growing season. This creates a versatile, food-friendly wine with bright, tropical, and citrus flavors.

Cloudy Bay Te Koko Sauvignon Blanc 2021 750ml
Winemaker Description
The 2021 Te Koko Sauvignon Blanc is initially closed on the nose but unfurls with notes of subtle tropicality, honey and graphite. The palate is extraordinarily complete, with complex layers of peach, preserved citrus and toasted nuts. A fine line of acidity and an enticing saline minerality balance the intense core of fruit and provide a fresh, palate-cleansing finish.
Expert Review
Robert Parker 95+ Points | Te Koko is arguably the wine that launched the concept of premium Sauvignon Blanc in New Zealand in the 1980s—no mean feat. On the nose, this 2021 Te Koko Sauvignon Blanc leads with pink grapefruit, nashi pear, white pepper, layers of crushed shells and brine, with hints of vanilla pod and star anise. In the mouth, all of the above with additional cut fennel, suggestions of marzipan, graphite and white pepper. There is a gentle lees texture and brilliant length of flavor. Excellent wine. The only reason you could possibly not like this wine is if you don't like Sauvignon Blanc, and even then, I'd insist that you try it.

Ayunta Terre Siciliane Nerello Mascalese Bianco Organic 2023 750ml
Winemaker Notes
Beautiful minerality shining through it, alongside touches of honeymelon and stone fruit.
Very experienced natural wine drinkers may experience a small note of sulphur on the finish, but it does not distract from the uniqueness of this special wine.
Growing up in Agrigento on Sicily’s southern coast, Filippo Mangione had winemaking in his blood. For generations his family tended vines and made wine in their palmento until his grandfather passed away in the sixties. The vineyards and building were sold off; leaving his family without an estate.
After university, he dove headfirst into the world of wine: working as a waiter, sommelier, journalist, and sales/export in both the US and the UK. The more he worked selling other peoples’ wines, the more he felt the pull to revive his family’s legacy and re-establish an estate of his own. In 2011, after months of visiting and walking the slopes of Etna, Filippo happened to meet the old owner of a nearly abandoned vineyard in Calderara Sottana planted in the early 1900s behind a grove of chesnut trees. Too old to work the vineyards any longer, he was thrilled that Filippo wanted to continue his work, telling him “Take it. Don’t let this vineyard die.” Filippo spent his life savings to buy that vineyard and Ayunta was born.
The vineyards of Ayunta, now several parcels spread throughout the top terroirs (namely the contrada of Calderara Sottana) around Randazzo on northern Etna, total 2.8 ha. The vineyards are populated mainly by very old vines. Every vine is different which is why Filippo does all his farming either by hand or small machine. He doesn’t use any chemicals in his vineyards, preferring to allow the natural vitality of
the soil shine through in the wines.
GAI'A Thalassitis Assyrtiko Santorini 2023 750ml
Winemaker Description
THALASSITIS is produced from Santorini’s indigenous white grape variety, Assyrtiko. All the Assyrtiko grapes selected for THALASSITIS originate exclusively from vineyards in the Episkopi, Akrotiri and Pyrgos regions. The vines in these regions are almost 80 years old. The particularly low yield that never exceeds 25 hl/ha combined with the local terrain and variety, result in an exuberant wine with a strong personality.
Enjoy it at 10oC with seafood, fish, shellfish or even lamb stewed in lemon sauce, generally with flavors of moderate intensity, where salt, brine or oil predominate. Don’t forget to pour THALASSITIS into a wide decanter half an hour before serving. You will definitely be pleased by the result!
You may wish to age THALASSITIS for a further 2-3 years, which will result in its mineral dimension diminishing, while its fruity and honey aromas will expand.
