Fontana Candida Pinot Grigio 1.5L Magnum is a generous, crowd-ready expression from one of Italy's most storied estates — a producer whose name is synonymous with the wines of Rome and the Lazio region. For this Pinot Grigio, Fontana Candida looks north, sourcing fruit from the cool, volcanic-influenced hills of Delle Venezie, where the combination of altitude, mineral-rich soils, and a continental climate produces grapes of exceptional freshness and aromatic precision.
Pale straw in the glass with delicate golden highlights. The nose is clean and inviting, with aromas of white peach, green apple, citrus blossom, and a subtle mineral note that speaks to the volcanic terroir. On the palate, the wine is light-bodied and crisp, with bright acidity, a refreshing texture, and a clean, dry finish that lingers with a hint of almond. Effortlessly drinkable and reliably consistent — a Magnum format made for the table.
The Delle Venezie DOC, spanning Veneto, Friuli, and Trentino-Alto Adige, is Italy's premier appellation for Pinot Grigio, and Fontana Candida brings its Roman winemaking heritage to bear on this northern varietal with characteristic elegance and restraint.
Serve well chilled. Pairs beautifully with seafood, light pasta dishes, fresh cheeses, and antipasti. An ideal choice for gatherings and celebrations.

Its dry, crisp and fruity taste makes it an excellent companion to poultry, seafood and light entrees. This well-balanced wine exhibits lime fruit flavors.
Well positioned and well drained, firm alluvial soil. The wine is sourced from select sites in the province of Trentino and in the Veneto hills along the Adige Valley.
This unique Pinot Grigio benefits from and reflects the distinctive terroirs of both these areas, with its crisp acidity and lush fruit. The grapes are picked at the peak of ripeness in September and then gently pressed. The wine is fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel.
