Antonio Galloni of Vinous writes 99 Points | The 2021 Barolo Francia is a vertical, explosive Barolo endowed with tons of energy. Bright acids and fine beams of tannin provide the framework for this striking young Barolo. All the elements are so well balanced. Time in the glass brings out an interplay of mineral-drenched energy, persistence and textural breadth. There's a lot of structure, and yet the tannins feel fine-grained and finessed. I especially admire its translucent energy. Magnificent.

Michaela Morris of Decanter Magazine writes 98 Points | As with 2020, Roberto Conterno made all three single-MGA wines in 2021: Cerretta, Arione and Francia. Bottled in May of 2024, the latter is subtlety demonstrative on the nose, albeit with some coaxing. Traces of pressed violet, pomegranate, iron and sage blossom are all detectable. The palate is appropriately taut and strict, though not in complete rigidity. Dark, pristine fruit is densely packed, intricately woven with the refined yet steely tannins which bend back around to the front of the palate, hemming it all in. Savoury, mineral and spicy on the finish. The estate will also release a 2021 Monfortino Riserva – though it is difficult to imagine how it will top this Francia.

Audrey Frick writes:  Tasted from bottle, the 2021 Barolo Francia is a jeweled ruby color, while the nose is very pure, inviting, and perhaps a touch shy, offering notes of pure red berries, cherry liqueur, sweet herbs, and rocky earth. The structure is quite energetic and eclectic in energy, and the palate is just stunning now, with lovely sweetness, although it’s fully dry.  - Jeb Dunnuck 97

94 Points Vinous | The 2020 Nebbiolo d'Alba Arione is bright, focused and tightly wound. There is a feeling of classic austerity (in a good way) that really drive the balance here. Bright red toned fruit, blood orange, chalk, mint, dried herbs and white pepper all race across the palate. This is Barolo in all but name. Time in the glass brings out the wine's inner sweetness and perfume. What a knock out. The Nebbiolo d'Alba is made from a small piece of Arione that lists just outside the Barolo production zone. Drink 2027-2040. (2020).

Gilbey's Gin is a delicate blend of 12 natural ingredients to achieve the ideal mix of complexity and balance to deliver a smoother, tangy, refreshingly dry gin with a hint of citrus that's the perfect choice anywhere, anytime. The key botanicals are; juniper, coriander, lemongrass, orange peel, kalamansi, angelica root, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Appearance is a pine-forward juniper, bitter orange rind, coriander mid-Taste, surprisingly obvious for a second and then quickly vanishing from consciousness. Aroma is classic with plenty of juniper, with orange zest and angelica present as well.

The lower notes have the bright, sappy, angelica still accompanied by the orange. The Nose is simple, but familiar and inviting. It’s fresh and generally quite positive. The Taste is assertive and sharp, with lots of classic gin botanicals making an— the Finish is sharply citrus with a mineral-tinged, calciferous/slightly chalky astringency.

Quite dry, with a roar of heat that is more expected at this price point. The Finish is moderately long, with that orange/citrus note enduring.

Gilgal wines are premium, quality aged varietal wines from Golan Heights Winery in Israel which are fruit forward and expressive. They are produced with the same care and attention to quality as Yarden wines. Recent excavations represented by the coin on the label, tell an exciting and heroic story.

Flavors of blackberry, plum and raspberry, along with notes of black tea and cocoa, and hints of fresh herbs and French oak.

This pinot grigio hails from Italy's northern region Pavia and is characterised by notes of gently fragrant summer fruits on the nose and delicate white fruits on the palate.

Tonya Pitts of The Wine Enthusiast 91 Points | This wine is deep, rich, with aromas of boysenberry, Bing cherry, violets, and notes of toasty oak on the nose. The flavors on the palate are strawberry-cherry coulis, Blood orange peel, dark chocolate shavings, interwoven with clove, and a dry finish.

This wine opens with inviting aromas of strawberry, cherry and clove. Hues of red roses and ruby jewel tones fill the glass.  On the palate, this is a soft, fruit-forward wine with plush tannins and flavors of ripe plum and black cherry. Just a touch of new French oak lends texture and helps frame the bright red fruit that radiates from this wine.

97 Points Wine Spectator | This pure and stylish Barolo features rose, strawberry, cherry, mineral and underbrush aromas and flavors. Though silky in texture, this is well-structured, with integrated tannins and harmony. This is all about finesse and texture, with excellent length and a mineral aftertaste.

Experience the essence of freshly pressed olive oil with Olio Fresco Novello by Giuseppe Ursini. Harvested in the first week of October 2024 from the Abruzzo region, this unfiltered extra virgin olive oil is produced using a blend of local Italian olive varieties, including Gentile di Chieti, Leccino, Dritta, and Cucco. The olives are handpicked and processed within hours to preserve their vibrant flavors.

This oil boasts a robust, fresh flavor profile with intense herbaceous notes reminiscent of chicory and artichoke. Glazter’s vineyards are predominately South-facing and are all around the village of Göttlesbrunn, where the Pannonian microclimate and loess-rich soils were already used to cultivate wine in Roman times. Here you will find a combination of sandy loam, gravel with clay and sand.

This organic wine comes from the loess-rich site of Haidacker. The nose is juicy and stylish, with black-cherry aromas.
