Kellerei Terlan's Pinot Grigio Tradition is the calling card of one of Italy's most celebrated alpine cooperatives — and the 2024 vintage is a benchmark expression of what Alto Adige Pinot Grigio can be. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Terlano DOC, where cool mountain air and mineral-rich soils define the character of every bottle, this wine delivers the kind of precision and freshness that has made Kellerei Terlan a reference point for Italian white wine lovers worldwide. James Suckling awarded it 93 points, calling it "superjuicy and long with a savory finish."
The nose is aromatic and inviting: Williams pear, lychee, white melon, and the delicate floral lift of a freshly mown alpine meadow. On the palate, it is full yet mellow — layers of black tea, exotic melon, and ripe grapefruit framed by lively acidity and a clean, mineral-driven finish. It is the rare Pinot Grigio that is as compelling on its own as it is at the table.

Kelley Fox Chardonnay Durant Vyd Dundee Hills 2024 (ETA - Mid-May 2026)
The 2024 is brilliantly transparent with the colour of light spun gold. The nose is a heady and rich creamy tropical fruit and mixed citrus without being overbearing. There’s an inviting freshness to it with soft minerals and subtle spices. I could drink this wine every day, and I don’t drink my own wines, typically. It’s mouthwatering with seamless structure. It is fine and balanced. The finish is long, with silk drape. This is a very small bottling from three barrels, but I plan to increase it to six barrels in 2026.
Appellation: Dundee Hills A.V.A.
Picking Date: 9 October 2024
Élevage: tight-grained Burgundy barrels (228L) made from French forests with 30% new
Bottling Date: 3 September 2025

Winemaker Notes
Brilliantly transparent with a light spun-gold hue. Aromas of creamy tropical fruit and citrus unfold with freshness, soft minerality and subtle spice. Seamless and mouthwatering on the palate, with fine balance and a long, silky finish. A tiny production wine with remarkable elegance and purity. – Kelley Fox
Kelley Fox Pinot Noir Durant Vyd Dundee Hills 2023 750ml (ETA - Mid-May 2026)
95 Points, Vinous: Darkly alluring, with dusty lavender, violets and wet stone layered over hints of ash and pine. Perfumed strawberry and floral tones glide across the palate, energized by tart citrus. Edgy tannins meet vibrant acidity, finishing long with chewy concentration and lingering spice. Still youthful, with a bright future ahead. – Eric Guido
Kelley Fox Pinot Noir Stater Vyd Dundee Hills 2023 750ml (ETA - Mid-May 2026)
96 Points Vinous: The 2023 Pinot Noir Stater Vineyard blossoms with a captivating bouquet of crushed blackberries, rosemary, sage and freshly shaved cedar. Zesty on the palate, it shows a core of stimulating acidity with saline mineral tones and tart red berry depth. Grippy tannins build structure as licorice and citrus notes linger with a sensation of liquid stone. A wine of energy and tension — built for the cellar. – Eric Guido
Winery Notes
2023 is my first year of leasing Stater Vineyard, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s situated directly between The Eyrie Vineyards estate vineyard and Durant Vineyard: talk about provenance! As stated on the back label, “Sylvia Stater and her late husband, Wayne Stater, whose family roots have been in Oregon for generations, founded this enchanting little vineyard in an area of Dundee that has long been considered by many to be hallowed ground for Pinot noir. Encircled by a towering grove of cedars, firs and other mixed trees and bathed in birdsong, there’s something that feels magical about it. I love being there.”
The 2023 is medium-dark red with youthful brilliance, transparency, and lovely plays of light. The gorgeous nose is filled with ripe, red berries and cherries with minerals and spices. Already, just on the nose, there is beautiful depth that continues in the mouth on a detailed frame of serious structure. This is a super-focused, high-relief Pinot that reminds me of how high pixels give more depth and richness to an image. There are some very subtle, delicious savory components that balance the fruit. It has nice acidity and a long, clean, silky finish that delivers the details to the end.
Appellation: Dundee Hills A.V.A.

Kelley Fox Pinot Noir Weber Vineyard Dundee Hills 2023 750ml (ETA - Mid-May 2026)
96 Points by Jeb Dunnuck: A jeweled ruby Pinot opening with raspberry cordial, pressed flowers, and earthy umami tones. Medium-bodied with ripe tannins and a more approachable, fruit-forward style. Beautiful now, yet structured enough to evolve gracefully over 15–20 years. – Jeb Dunnuck
Winery Notes
This is my sixth Pinot produced from Weber Vineyard, a beautiful vineyard just down Worden Hill Road from Maresh Vineyard that I have prized for a very long time. The vines in this block were planted in 1983 on their own roots. Strong, old Oregon oak trees and towering big leaf maples guard the southern part of my block for this wine, while the eastern border of my block is a wild, mixed forest filled with unseen songbirds singing during the light hours.
The Weber 2023 is a rich medium red with blue undertones and has brilliant transparency. The nose has rich and intense red berry character with subtle powdery minerals. The mouth continues with beautifully ripe Oregon strawberry and cherry with cola and subtle spices. There’s lots of concentration and quiet power in this wine. I love its cool depth. The structure is detailed, and the finish is long and silky in the classic Dundee Hills way.

Ken Forrester Chenin Blanc Old Vine Reserve Stellenbosch 2024 750ml
Ken Forrester Old Vine Reserve Chenin Blanc — Stellenbosch, South Africa 2024
Ken Forrester is widely regarded as the "King of Chenin" — no producer in South Africa has done more to champion the grape or elevate its reputation on the world stage. Founded in 1993 on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain in Stellenbosch, the estate farms old vines on decomposed granite soils with the benefit of cooling maritime influences from False Bay. The Reserve Chenin Blanc is their benchmark expression: textured, layered, and built to age, yet approachable from release. The 2024 vintage was shaped by a warm, dry summer that concentrated the fruit beautifully, with just 2,000 cases imported to the US.
The wine pours a bright, pale straw. The nose is perfumed and generous — ripe pineapple, honeydew melon, baked apple, nectarine, and subtle floral notes with a whisper of hazelnut. On the palate, it's rich, creamy, and silky with vivid acidity, a subtle streak of chalky sapidity, and layers of tropical and yellow fruit. The finish is long and mineral-driven, with refreshing hints of quinine and grapefruit pith. Drink now through 2030.

Ken Forrester Reserve Sauvignon Blanc — Stellenbosch, South Africa 2022
Ken Forrester is one of South Africa's most celebrated winemakers — a passionate advocate for Chenin Blanc and the broader potential of Stellenbosch as a world-class wine region. His Stellenbosch farm, situated on the cool slopes of the Helderberg, benefits from the maritime influence of False Bay and long, slow ripening conditions that produce wines of genuine complexity and freshness. The Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is crafted from grapes grown in this cool-climate environment, where extended hang time allows the fruit to develop layered aromatic character while retaining the brisk, mineral-driven acidity that defines the style.
The nose shows lovely complexity: a mix of tangy grassy notes and fig leaf intertwined with peach and nectarine nuances — aromatic, fresh, and inviting. On the palate, brisk acidity and minerality take center stage, a direct reflection of the long hang time in this cool coastal region. Clean, focused, and refreshing — a Sauvignon Blanc that is equally at home at the aperitivo hour or at the table.

Kimich Riesling Kabinett Trocken Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker Pfalz 2024 1Liter
Our Professional Review
Rand Sieger 67Wine.com | This is the lemonade of wine. A super fresh and juicy summer quaffer to have with all your lighter summer foods. The first aromas that come up from the glass are crushed lilies of the valley and white pepper, followed
by citrus and fresh pineapple. Dry, lean, fresh and juicy on the palate.
Winemaker Description
A liter of the raciest, most energetic and appealingly mineralische Riesling imaginable. Alc: 12% Residual sugar: 7,5 g/ltr Acidity: 7,6 g/ltr Must weight: 88° Oechsle Harvest on 26th of September 2019, Temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel. On the fine yeast until bottling in stainless steel tanks (26th of February 2021) Bright yellow colour with green highlights; in the nose aromas of apple, yellow stone fruits and freshness; on the palate very harmonic, totally dry and refreshing.
Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker is a single vineyard site with a size of 121 hectares. 10% of the vineyard site is steep, 20% hilly and 70% are flat. The soil varies between sandy loam and loamy sand, mixed with limestone rocks and red sandstone. The name “Herrgottsacker” is probably derived from the word “Gottesacker” (which is a former word for cementery) andThis interpretation from Kimich, a small, traditional, 8th generation estate, is an absurd value in the liter bottle (33% more wine)!
Kinishihai Yukikage Snow Shadow Tokubetsu Junmai Sake 300ml
Kinishihai Yukikage ‘Snow Shadow’ Tokubetsu Junmai — Niigata, Japan (300ml)
Kinishihai is brewed in Niigata Prefecture — one of Japan's most revered sake-producing regions, celebrated for its cold winters, pristine snowmelt water, and the distinctive ‘tanrei karakuchi’ style: clean, dry, and refined sake of exceptional elegance and food-friendliness. Yukikage — meaning ‘Snow Shadow’ — is a Tokubetsu Junmai, a special designation within the Junmai category indicating a higher level of rice polishing or a distinctive brewing technique that elevates the sake above the standard. It is crafted from a blend of two local Niigata rice varietals — Gohyaku Mangoku and Koshi Ibuki — both milled to 58% of their original size, removing the outer layers to reveal a cleaner, more refined grain. Fermented with S-3 yeast, which produces a mildly fragrant and clean profile with light earthy qualities, Yukikage is a true expression of the gutsy, grounded Niigata style: smooth, earthy, and built for the table. Uniquely versatile — it is equally compelling served chilled or gently warmed, making it one of the most food-friendly sakes in the glass.
The nose is mildly fragrant and inviting: toasted brown rice, light earthiness, and a clean, grounded character. On the palate, it is smooth and earthy with notes of toasty brown rice and a gentle nuttiness. Chilled, it is a natural companion for sushi, gyoza, and delicate seafood. Gently warmed, it blossoms — the perfect accompaniment for yakitori, grilled salmon, or roasted yellowtail. A sake of genuine versatility and quiet depth.
"A true gutsy Niigata style sake — smooth and earthy, with notes of toasty brown rice. When chilled it makes a great companion for a sushi platter or gyoza dumplings, but when gently warmed it blossoms into the perfect accompaniment for yakitori, grilled salmon or roasted yellowtail." — Kinishihai, Producer

Kistler Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2024 750ml
Kistler Vineyards · Pinot Noir · Russian River Valley · 2024
Since 1978, Kistler Vineyards has set the benchmark for Burgundian-inspired winemaking in California. Their Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is sourced from vineyards along the Gravenstein Ridge — red, gravelly soils from the Sebastopol series that deliver the kind of cool-climate tension and mineral precision rarely found outside Burgundy itself. The vines are planted to Kistler's proprietary heritage clones, descended from Grand Cru Burgundy selections refined over 25 years of meticulous field work, prized for their low yields, small berries, and extraordinary site expression. At $85.99, this is one of California's most sought-after Pinot Noirs — and one of the most fairly priced at this level of pedigree.
The 2024 is harvested by hand at night to preserve freshness, 100% destemmed, and fermented in open-top tanks with native yeasts — only free-run juice collected, no pressing. Ten months in French oak (38% new, hand-stacked cooperage air-dried in St. Romain), then bottled unfined and unfiltered. The result: a complex bouquet of red currant, smoked earth, and exotic florals, leading to a seamless, medium-bodied palate with silky tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish. Klein Constantia Sauvignon Blanc 2024 750ml 91 Points, Vinous
Klein Constantia Sauvignon Blanc — Constantia, South Africa 2024
Klein Constantia is one of South Africa's most historic and celebrated estates, situated in the Constantia Valley on the slopes of the Cape Peninsula — a site with a winemaking legacy stretching back to the 17th century and home to the legendary Vin de Constance. Their Sauvignon Blanc is a wine of genuine craft and ambition: sourced from 42 individual vineyard blocks across the estate, each fermented separately to allow the terroir of each parcel to express itself before careful blending. Grapes are harvested at 4am to preserve freshness, and the winemaking is a meticulous balance of wild and inoculated fermentation — 80% wild (some ferments taking up to two months to complete), 20% with Non-Saccharomyces Cerevisiae for complexity and natural microbial protection. Ten percent is aged in neutral 500L oak barrels, and the wine spends six months on gross lees before blending and bottling.
The 2024 pours light and bright. The nose is perfumed and atypically complex for Sauvignon Blanc — grapefruit, lime, kiwi, yellow plum, and hints of mango, with a citrus blossom and umami thread. On the palate, it's moreish and textured with a crisp entry, quince, light walnut, flinty mineral elements, and a fresh salinity that gives it real energy. The finish is long, vibrant, and expressive — fanning out beautifully with aeration. Real texture for the variety.
"Atypical for a Sauvignon Blanc — real texture to this Savvy, which is unusual for the variety, fanning out nicely on the finish." — Neal Martin, Vinous, 91 Points

Expert Reviews - Vintage 2015
Decanter 96 Points | This is world class with lovely floral, spicy, marmalade, barley sugar, apricot and crme brle aromatics. The palate brings lively acidity and layers of delightful fruity flavors. Incredibly long.
Winemaker Description
The drought prompted a shorter harvest, which resulted in faster ripening fruit yielding berries with concentrated flavours and well balanced acidity. With the renovated cellar, we could make use of dedicated tanks intended for perfect maceration and fermentation of the Muscat.
Throughout the season we harvested in batches - from the riper berries that have great acidity to the raisins for sugar concentration.
Each batch is kept separate and treated differently. These batches make up the perfect ratio between sugar, alcohol and acidity which allows the wine to stop fermentation naturally and without intervention.
The wine was aged in a combination of 50 % newFrench oak, Hungarian oak and French Acacia. It was left for a period of 3 years in barrel on the gross lees before racking out and blending. It spent a further 6 months in tank before bottling.
Region Constantia, Western Cape.

Expert Reviews
Wine Enthusiast 92 Points | Delicious but fiery, this nine-year-old small-batch Bourbon offers deep toffee aromatics and bold flavor. On the palate, look for relatively dry flavors: leather, cedar, dried orange peel. A splash of water softens the profile to bring out more vanilla, honey, even a touch of chocolate.
Whisky Advocate 90 Points | No-nonsense, flint-hard nose: slickly-polished oak furniture, cinnamon stick, cracked rye, wet cornmeal, hard candies. A lean whiskey that gets in your mouth and explodes with rye spice and cinnamon candy. The finish echoes: oak, a dying fire, clean and almost crisp. Emphatic, bright, and swift. Value Pick.
Serve & Enjoy
Perfect neat or on the rocks with one or two ice cubes. Also excellent in an Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour, or Manhattan.
