Koonunga Hill is one of Penfolds’ most beloved and enduring wines — a benchmark for approachable, everyday Australian red. The Shiraz brings plenty of dark fruit while the Cabernet Sauvignon adds cool, lifted aromatics. Deep crimson with red brick hues, the nose reveals preserved plums, fresh mulberry, cherry compote, milk chocolate, baking spices, fresh bay leaf, white pepper, and licorice. The palate is succulent with refreshing acidity and subtle tannins. Ripe red fruits offer richness on the mid-palate, with dark cherry, pomegranate, and cranberry. A savory, umami edge adds complexity. Softly textured, medium-bodied, and very approachable.

Their Montefalco Rosso — a blend of Sagrantino, Sangiovese, and Merlot — is the estate's entry point into the appellation and one of central Italy's great value reds: aromatic, full-bodied, and richly textured, with the signature Sagrantino grip and spice at a fraction of the price of their flagship Sagrantino di Montalcino.
Sensationally intense, with notes of wild flowers, violet and red berry jam. Full-bodied, rich, and dry with a long finish and a delicate hint of spice.
Highly versatile at the Umbrian table — exceptional with grilled lamb, wild boar ragù, truffle pasta, aged Pecorino, and hearty lentil soups.

Wine Enthusiast – 90 Points
This widely available Oregon Pinot avoids the sort of winemaking tricks that take away detail and specificity. It is broadly flavorful with brambly blackberry and black cherry fruit, along with a streak of licorice.
A beautiful deep garnet in the glass, the 2019 A to Z Wineworks Oregon Pinot Noir presents dark cherry and red berry aromatics with hints of pomegranate, rhubarb, baking spices, cola, and cedar — lifted by warm secondary notes of vanilla, leather, sandalwood, toast, and a subtle earthy layer of forest floor and mushrooms.
Succulent on the palate: juicy ripe red fruit and black plum, brambly blue fruits, fig compote, cocoa, and a dash of pipe tobacco and graphite. Smooth texture, mouthwatering acidity, and well-integrated tannins leave a silky finish. A ridiculously food-friendly, true Oregon wine with fruit, earth, and spice.

On the palate, crisp, juicy fruit flavors burst across — lemon chiffon, key lime pie, kiwi, green apple, white nectarine, and pineapple — with a peppery kick at the tip of the sip. The finish is clean and lingering, with notes of dragon fruit, passionfruit, and citrus.

Dark garnet-red in color with distinctive, fine aromas of small fruits, raspberry preserves, roses, and violets, with a delicate herbal note. Full and lively on the palate with tart fruit flavors, elegant tannins, and a lingering aftertaste with traces of prunes and toasty oak.

This red has light notes of berries on the nose. Finely grained tannins and good acidity hold cherry flavors mixed with dried basil.

Borgoforte is a small village in the middle of our Estate that proved too strong to conquer
A strong village. Like our new red wines, it symbolizes the resilient and charming character of the Tuscans.
This wine is made in the “Super – Tuscan” style by adding Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes to the classical grape of Tuscany, Sangiovese.
Each year we add selected wines to the blend to bring subtle complexity and richness without losing the flavor of the traditional wines of Tuscany. Grapes picked at optimum ripeness ensure a wine which expresses itself in its ripe blackfruit components and full body. A true reflection of flavours which are a marriage of our soils under the Tuscan sun. For smooth body and elegance, the wine is aged in small oak barrels. We enthusiastically recommend this wine with pasta, red meats and game of any kinds.

Tenuta Rapitalà crafts Vìviri — meaning "live" or "drink" in Sicilian dialect — as a celebration of the Grillo variety at its most expressive. Grown on the sun-drenched hills of the Rapitalà estate, this wine is defined by its vibrant flavor and striking minerality.
Grillo vines are planted between 900 and 1,300 feet elevation on the Rapitalà estate, trained using the traditional Guyot system in soils of clay, small pebbles, and sand. The altitude imparts greater natural acidity, lending the wine its signature sapidity and mineral tension.
Grapes are harvested in mid-August, slightly before full ripeness to preserve the balance between sugar and acidity. The fruit is pressed, fermented, and aged entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel — keeping the wine fresh, pure, and unoaked.
Color of intense dark cherry with a violet edge. Intense nose, dominated by ripe red fruits, raspberry, currant, together with balsamic and mineral notes.
Powerful in the mouth, full-bodied, pleasantly tannic and fruity with a light spice on the finish. A beautiful crowd-pleaser.

This Chardonnay grapes come from a single vineyard in Carneros that is influenced by the cooling effect of the Pacific Ocean allowing for a long growing season. Christos Zafeirakis is one of Greece’s most important young winemakers — and the man single-handedly credited with reviving Limniona, an ancient indigenous variety that had nearly vanished from the world’s wine map. The fourth generation of his family to farm in Tyrnavos, in the PGI Tyrnavos zone of Thessaly in Central Greece, Christos returned home after studies and stages in Italy to plant his first organic vineyard in 2005. What followed was a quiet revolution: world-class, elegant wines from forgotten Greek grapes, made with love, knowledge, and deep respect for tradition. His Limniona Rosé is the most accessible expression of that mission — and one of the most original rosés in the world.

On the palate, lively acidity is beautifully balanced by the intensity of fruit, with an unexpected freshness and a subtle, appetizing bitterness that gives the wine an extra dimension. The finish is long, clean, and distinctly Greek.

Bart Hopkins writes: Ampeleia Estate Unlitro is a light, earthy, natural blend of Alicante (Grenache), Mourvedre, Carignano, Sangiovese and Alicante Bouschet from the Tuscan Coast made by Biodynamic wine grower Elisabetta Foradori. The Ampeleia Estate consists of 150 hectares of which 35 are planted to vines and the remainder to wheat, legumes, vegetables, olive groves, woodlands and animals. This vivacious red, which boasts a modest 12% alcohol, sees no oak during production, keeping it agile, light on its feet and almost too easily quaffable.
Aromas of forest flowers, strawberry blossoms, earthy blood plums and delicate spices open up on the nose with crisp, peppery fruit refreshing the palate complimented by invigorating acidity and gentle tannins on the finish.
Not a trace of heaviness, just a pure, natural expression of organic grape growing and harmonious winemaking done with lots of love.
Serve chilled, pour generously, and pair it with just about anything!
To bring on the table a one-litre flask is an ancient tradition, and a symbol of conviviality. Hence the name Unlitro, a bottle whose shape and size recall the joy and carefreeness of being together.
This is a wine that comes from our youngest vineyard, the closest to the sea; from a blend of Alicante Nero, Mourvèdre, Sangiovese and Alicante Bouschet. It's a wine that testifies to our desire to express the territory in a more gentle and immediate way, without losing the character of a classic Tuscan wine.
But Unlitro is more than that: it is also a project created to bring together the forces of Tuscan winemakers closest to the values of Ampeleia and support them in the development of organic methods which combines respect and quality.
Varietals - Grenache, Cannonau, Garnacha, Carignano, Mourvedre, Sangiovese, Alicante Bouschet.
