Dry and crisp, the flavors are dominated by mixed nuts, fresh cut green grass and other earthier flavors. Mediumbodied with a rich mouthfeel, followed by a lengthy and dry finish. Pairs well with hearty grains, mushrooms, beef, lamb, and BBQ sauce.

The 2022 DAOU Chardonnay displays a rich, ample nose of pineapple, vanilla bean, mango, hazelnut and nutmeg spice. Floral tones of honeysuckle and star jasmine are accented by sweet ginger and lemon zest. The palate is weighty and mouth-filling, delivering round, silky flavors of Bartlett pear, Crenshaw melon, kiwi and fresh pineapple.

Notes of Golden Delicious apple and papaya are complemented with lemon cream pie and crushed almonds, while hints of white peach, citrus peel and cinnamon linger on a long, graceful finish. Winemaker Description.

Beautiful light-weighted pink colour, intriguing aroma of fine red fruits (cherry, wild strawberries) accompanied by delicate floral hints (violets) and (youthful) yeasty notes. A refreshing front palate with lively acid elements, then a red-fruited mid-palate with a juicy profile, medium body, balanced, really much fun based, finely structured with a pleasant floral and slightly herbal finale.

Only a few people might know that the family of Dr. Zweigelt, who managed to interbreed a new variety out of Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent in 1921, had vineyards in Langenlois. Actually the Bründlmayer family own the former Zweigelt cellar and part of the vineyards. We make a varietal wine from Zweigelt but also blend it with other grape varieties where it contributes deep fruit and body.

This is a juicy, medium-bodied Pinot Noir with hints of cherry cola, raspberry and clove aromas followed by bright, crisp flavors of pomegranate, Queen Anne cherry and a touch of licorice.

Pairs well with salmon, roast chicken, grilled vegetables and light pasta dishes.

93 Points Wine & Spirits | Deliciosa grows at the Pago Miraflores in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and it’s typically aged for five years under flor. This lastest saca shows a lovely mix of almond flavors, salt and white fruit, all melding into the wine’s deep mineral notes. It’s substantial enough to serve in the company of blackened redfish.

Reboraina is a very small producer of white wines in Galicia, on average 10,000 bottles annually. They own 5ha of vines that are located outside of the city of Pontevedra, which is not located in the Rias Baixas, it is just south of the Val de Salnes.

While this does not carry that famous appellation name, it more than delivers what we have come to expect from Albarino grown in the Salnes Valley. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, this is coastal Albarino. Straw-yellow and golden in color; Aromas that are debatable but agreeable include the flower of the apple tree and a subtle, sophisticated elegance. The Parra family’s pursuit came from the devotion of the three brothers (Francisco, Javier, and Luis) to find a sense of place in their home of La Mancha. They founded their property with the conviction to organically and biodynamically farm every vine under their care.

The Parra family works two large vineyards in La Mancha near the town of Las Messas (The Tables), totaling some 445 acres, or about 180 hectares. One of the vineyards is named Entresendas (Between Paths) and sits within the dried river bed. Entresendas benefits from the rich, alluvial soils, common to old river beds and perfect for the cultivation of grapes. The other vineyard is officially named Olla del Monte (Cooking Pan in the Mountain), but is known locally as the Cuesta Colorá because of the colorful scarpland soils of chalky clay covered in a fine layer of pebbles that hold the day’s heat well into the night.

For the Gulp/Hablo, the extremely gulpable wines, they tapped Juan Antonio Ponce of Bodegas Ponce to make the wine. With this partnership, they were able to create a wine that beats the competition without sacrificing on quality.
