Primus finds its home in Chile’s Apalta Valley, where the producer describes a respectful approach to the vineyard rooted in regenerative organic and biodynamic principles. This 2022 Carménère brings the region’s red-fruit and herbal character to a bottle made for the table.

The winemaker describes red fruit, cedar and boldo herbs, with cherry, pepper and rosemary on a fresh, fruity palate. Silky, velvety tannins and good volume make it a natural companion for beef empanadas, curried lamb or a slow-cooked stew.
