Gérard Boulay Rosé Sancerre Sibylle Organic 2025 750ml
Gérard Boulay | Sancerre AOC, Loire Valley, France | Rosé | Organic | 2025
Made from 35–40 year old Pinot Noir vines on the steep clay hillsides of Chavignol — the village many consider the finest terroir in all of Sancerre — Boulay's Sibylle Rosé is one of the Loire's most sought-after small-production pours. Antinori Villa Antinori Bianco Toscana IGT 2024 750ml
One of Tuscany's most iconic white blends — fresh, mineral, and unchanged since 1931.
Villa Antinori Bianco is not a new idea. Niccolò Antinori first produced it in 1931, and the label has barely changed since. The 2024 vintage brings together Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, and Riesling — a classic Tuscan white blend that balances aromatic lift with crisp acidity. Enjoy Balta Pairs: Mas Petit Organic 2021
Expert Review - Vintage 2021
James Suckling writes 91 Points | A well-balanced and flavorful blend of garnatxa and cabernet. Dark cherries, plums and earth aromas mingle on the nose and follow through to a medium body with creamy tannins. Vibrant with a fruity and chocolaty finish. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink now.
Winemaker Description
Rhone meets Bordeaux in Penedes. The Cab here provides the body and power, Grenache for the florality and freshness. A cold maceration and fermentation in stainless before finishing in oak. Rich, velvety, dark berry, vanilla, baking spice, and a touch of licorice lead the way. Very generous fruit, big body, framed nicely in oak without it taking a front seat. This is the big red that will appeal to many.

Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco 2022 750ml
Critical Acclaim — Vintage 2022
94 pts — James Suckling
Bright and overtly fruity, this is full of intoxicating violets, cinnamon, blood oranges and black cherries, expressing mint and balsamic depth. Full-bodied with a soft, smooth attack, dusty yet velvety tannins and brilliant acidity. The chocolaty finish shows licorice and a mouth-coating texture. Delicious and balanced. Drink or hold.
93 pts — Vinous
The 2022 Barbaresco is a pretty rich, heady wine. Dark cherry/plum fruit, cloves, licorice and mocha build as the 2022 shows off its considerable depth. One of the few 2022s that is quite resonant texturally. The inclusion of some juice from Riserva lots is a great help. All things considered, this is a stellar showing.

Maison Louis Latour has been one of Burgundy's most trusted names since 1797, and their Mâcon-Lugny "Les Genièvres" is a perennial benchmark for what southern Burgundy Chardonnay can be at an honest price. 67 Wine Somm Series DOCa Rioja Tempranillo 2021 — Rioja Alavesa, Spain
The 67 Wine Somm Series is curated by Oscar Garcia Moncada, 67 Wine’s in-house sommelier and Spain specialist. Each selection is Oscar’s personal search for wines that over-deliver on quality relative to price — bottles he would pour at his own table. This Rioja Tempranillo is a direct expression of that philosophy: a classic, food-friendly red from one of Spain’s most celebrated appellations at an everyday price.
Sourced from Rioja Alavesa — the northernmost and most elevated sub-zone of the DOCa Rioja, situated in the Basque Country — this 100% Tempranillo benefits from limestone-clay soils and a cooler, Atlantic-influenced climate that produces wines with brighter acidity, more aromatic lift, and greater elegance than those from the warmer Rioja Alta and Rioja Baja. Widely regarded as Rioja’s most terroir-expressive zone.
The 2021 delivers exactly what great everyday Rioja should: red berries, plums, and vanilla on the nose, a medium-bodied palate with good consistency and structure, and a very pleasant, clean finish.

Aged for six months on the lees without any oak contact, the wine develops natural richness, structure, and complexity while preserving the bright, citrus-driven character that defines great Mâcon-Villages. An outstanding value in White Burgundy.
The nose is open and intense: citrus fruits, ripe pear, and a hint of butter. On the palate, it is juicy and full — the forty-year-old vines deliver genuine depth and concentration, while the lees aging adds a creamy, textured mid-palate. The finish is long, crisp, and refreshing, with a clean mineral precision that invites another glass.
67 Wine — “Château de Mirande is the Mâcon-Villages that reminds you why White Burgundy became famous — pure Chardonnay, old vines, and six months on the lees. Unoaked, honest, and delicious.”

La Spinetta Barbera d’Asti Superiore Ca’ di Pian Organic — Piedmont 2023
La Spinetta is one of Piedmont’s most celebrated estates, founded by Giorgio Rivetti in Castagnole delle Lanze. Rivetti is widely credited with modernizing Barbera d’Asti — bringing precision viticulture, organic farming, and meticulous cellar work to a variety long underestimated in the region. Ca’ di Pian, sourced from Castagnole delle Lanze and Costigliole d’Asti, is La Spinetta’s entry-level Barbera — yet it consistently punches well above its price, earning critical acclaim vintage after vintage. The estate farms entirely without synthetic pesticides or herbicides, expressing the purest possible fruit from its Piedmontese terroir.
The 2023 is soft, supple, and immediately captivating. A burst of blueberry, black cherry, morello cherry, spice, lavender, menthol, and chocolate gives the wine tremendous appeal and versatility. Fresh, fruit-forward, and beautifully balanced — an especially fine edition of this beloved cuvée.

Benanti Etna Bianco 2024 750ml
Benanti | Etna Bianco DOC | 2024
Few wine regions on earth are as singular as Mount Etna. Perched on an active volcano on Sicily's northeastern flank, the vineyards here grow in ancient lava soils at elevations that would be extreme anywhere else in Italy. Benanti is the family that put Etna on the modern wine map — pioneers who recognized the potential of indigenous varieties like Carricante long before the rest of the world caught on. Their Etna Bianco is 100% Carricante, the white grape native to the volcano's eastern slopes, and it is a pure, unfiltered expression of place: bone-dry, lean, and electric, with a stony minerality and saline edge that no other terroir can replicate. Grapefruit, tart orchard fruit, and a whisper of white flowers on the nose; crisp, driving acidity on the palate; and a long, clean finish that lingers with volcanic energy. Serve well chilled and let the mountain do the talking.
- Appellation: Etna Bianco DOC, Sicily, Italy
- Varietal: 100% Carricante
- Vintage: 2024
- Format: 750ml
- Style: Bone-dry, high-acid, volcanic white
- Serve: Well chilled, 46–50°F
Tasting Notes
Grapefruit, saline, stony minerality, and tart orchard fruit. Bone-dry and lean with vivid acidity and a long, clean volcanic finish.
Pairing Suggestions
- Ricotta with citrus rind — a Sicilian classic that mirrors the wine’s grapefruit and saline notes.
- Grilled swordfish or tuna — the minerality and acidity stand up to meaty fish.
- Lemon pasta or seafood risotto — the wine’s citrus energy and salinity are a natural match.
67 Wine Picks
"A thrill-seeking wine from the volcanic region of Mt. Etna. Benanti showcases 100% Carricante at its best — complexity on the nose with aromas of grapefruit, saline, and fresh acidity with lots of minerality. A pure varietal expression, full of life, vibrant, energetic, with a lingering finish." — Debra 67Wine.com
Castello Monaci Primitivo Piluna 2023 750ml
Expert Review – Vintage 2023
James Suckling – 90 Points
Sour cherries, sultanas, dried oranges and sweet spices on the nose, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, jammy and lightly sweet-sour palate. Ripe tannins.
Winemaker's Notes
Broad, ripe black fruit and spice aromas, with notes of pepper, toasty vanilla and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, the wine has a robust, concentrated character, a firm structure, and small black fruit and licorice notes on the aftertaste.
"Piluna" translates to "pot of clay" — an ancient vessel once used to store water or wine.
Terroir & Vinification
This 100% Primitivo is grown from vineyards surrounding the ancient Castello Monaci estate in Salento, Apulia. Soils are a blend of dry clay, volcanic gravel, and limestone, forcing vines deep in search of water — yielding low crops and rich, fragrant fruit.
Harvest is done by hand before dawn to preserve sugar levels and avoid the heat. Grapes are vinified in small stainless steel tanks, then aged 6 months in 75% stainless steel and 25% 2nd and 3rd use French oak. 300,000 bottles produced.

Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc Wairau Valley Marlborough 2025 750ml
Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc — Wairau Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand 2024
Greywacke is the personal project of Kevin Judd — the winemaker who spent two decades building Cloudy Bay into one of the world's most recognized Sauvignon Blanc brands before striking out on his own. Named after the hard, dark stone that forms the riverbeds of Marlborough, Greywacke is a small-production estate focused on wines of genuine depth and site specificity. The Wairau Valley Sauvignon Blanc is their benchmark expression: harvested largely by machine during cool, often cold night-time conditions, picked earlier than normal over a three-week period commencing 16 March, transported directly to the winery in the Omaka Valley, lightly pressed for high-quality juice, and left on lees on individual vineyard batches until late June before blending. Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with the volume turned down a notch — and all the better for it.
The 2024 pours a pale, luminous gold. The nose is vibrant and aromatic — lemon blossom, honeydew melon, orange blossom, passion fruit, white pineapple, kumquat, and lime sherbet, delicately infused with herb garden botanicals and a flourish of elderflower and wildflowers. On the palate, it's sleek and smooth with mid-palate richness, juicy lemon, steely cassis, beeswax, brine, and a generously textured finish with impressive structure and depth. Crunchy New Zealand acidity, savory phenolics, and a clean, lingering close. Drink now.
"Intense and concentrated, shaped by savory phenolics and loaded with crunchy New Zealand acidity. This speaks of the place in a clear, unfettered voice, and it's brilliant for that." — Wine Advocate, 93 Points
- Producer: Greywacke (Kevin Judd), Wairau Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand

Bodegas Perica Vina Olagosa 67 Wine Crianza Rioja 2020 750ml
Our Professional Review — Oscar Garcia Moncada
In September 2022, I had the pleasure of traveling to Rioja, Spain, to visit one of my favorite producers: Bodegas Perica. Located in the picturesque village of San Asensio in La Rioja Alta, Bodegas Perica has been a bastion of winemaking tradition for three generations. The winery was in the midst of harvest, and I was fortunate enough to participate—gaining firsthand insight into the rigorous grape selection process that defines Bodegas Perica’s approach.
Anyone who has experienced a wine harvest understands the backbreaking labor involved in hand-harvesting: long hours, quick reflexes, and relentless speed. Yet despite the physical demands, the reward is undeniable—gathering at the end of the day to share a hearty meal and plenty of wine with a community united by purpose and passion.
David García Ábalos, the current owner of Bodegas Perica, and Zigor Cornago García, Director of Commerce, graciously gave me a personal tour of the winery, cellar, and production facilities. Perica stands out for using only estate-grown grapes from its own vineyards—a true commitment to quality and terroir. The winery also ages its Crianzas in 225-liter French oak barrels, and notably, many of its wines undergo extended aging beyond the minimum requirements set by the Rioja DOCa.
Founded in 1912 by Don Juan García, Bodegas Perica now cultivates over 150 hectares of vineyards in the prestigious Rioja Alta subregion, known for producing some of the finest expressions of Tempranillo.
This visit was especially meaningful to me, as it culminated in a tasting straight from the barrel to select the next wine for a private label project with 67Wine. After exploring a range of vintages and barrels, I ultimately chose the 2020 vintage. For me, it hit all the right notes—vibrant fruit, layered aromas, balanced structure, integrated tannins, and just the right touch of acidity. This wine is layered with nuances of tobacco, perfectly matured red fruit, and a touch of vanilla.
This superb Crianza, aged for up to 16 months in barrel followed by further aging in bottle, overdelivers in both quality and value. It drinks more like a Reserva—a testament to the exceptional fruit quality grown in Viña Olagosa in La Rioja Alta and to the meticulous work of the Bodegas Perica winemaking team.
Tasting Notes
Color: Medium garnet
Nose: Enticing aromas of red and black fruit — strawberries, raspberries, black cherry, and blackberry — with subtle hints of tobacco, cedar, and vanilla.
Palate: Medium-bodied with great balance. Acidity, tannins, and alcohol are all in harmony. Black cherry, strawberries, and raspberries intermingle with notes of tobacco, dried mushrooms, and a touch of eucalyptus.
Finish: Clean and pleasant with a long-lasting mouthfeel.
Oscar Garcia Moncada, 67Wine
