Each vintage, only the most nuanced and expressive block is selected for this limited bottling. The 2022 comes from the Arroyo Seco appellation in Monterey County, delivering dark purple-violet tones, enticing blackberry and boysenberry aromas, and a palate of black cherry, wild blackberry, and jammy plum with beautiful acidity and a long, mouthwatering finish.
Expert Reviews
- Wine Enthusiast (Matt Kettmann) — 92 pts: Dried cherry, baked plum and a full spice rack of aromas on the nose. Tense, slightly sappy tannins frame the sip, where black plum, stewed cherry and bay leaf flavors lead into a wood smoke-kissed finish. (Vintage 2022).

Dr Lippold Empress Josephine's Riesling Mosel 2022 750ml
Winemaker Description
The grapes for this delicious Riesling come from the prized area of Ürziger Würztgarten, in the middle Mosel above the village of Ürzig. Vinified and aged entirely in stainless steel vats, and intentionally released after a minimum of one year in the bottle, it displays classic Mosel mineral and lime notes throughout with bright, crisp acidity and just enough residual sugar to soften the edges.
Memo Summary Notes
The wine is a tribute to Napoleon’s wife, Empress Josephine, who famously fell in love with German Rieslings during her travels in the early 1800s. Her endorsement made Riesling the "fashionable" drink of the European elite. Dr. Enno Lippold crafts this specific cuvée to capture that historic, elegant style.
Because of residual sugar, this wine is the ultimate pairing for spicy food.
-
Thai Green Curry or Spicy Sushi Rolls (with spicy mayo/wasabi). The sugar calms the heat, while the acidity cleanses the palate.
-
Classic Roast Pork with Apples: The sweetness of the wine mirrors the fruit in the dish.

Wolffer Estate Rosé Long Island 2025 750ml
Wölffer Estate Rosé — Long Island 2025
Wölffer Estate is the Hamptons’ most iconic winery — and their Gold Label Rosé is the wine that put Long Island rosé on the map. Crafted from the estate’s maritime terroir on the East End of Long Island, where cooling sea breezes off the Atlantic preserve freshness and lift, this is a rosé of genuine complexity, understated elegance, and outstanding value. The 2025 vintage is, by all accounts, one of the finest Long Island has ever produced.
The growing season was shaped by hot, dry conditions in July and August that promoted small berry size and remarkable concentration, followed by a storm-free harvest and cooling October breezes that preserved vibrancy and balance. Rosé harvest ran from September 21 through October 7. Grapes were destemmed, pressed, and cold-settled at 40°F, then fermented slowly at 62°F over three weeks. The wine rested 12 weeks on the lees sur lie for added complexity and structure, fermented fully dry with no malolactic fermentation to preserve freshness.
The result: a radiant, delicate ruby rosé with honeysuckle, ripe wild strawberry, and classic floral aromas. On the palate, vibrant acidity and minerality balance beautifully concentrated fruit, with a refreshing, generous mouthfeel and a long, savory finish.
- Producer: Wölffer Estate, Sagaponack, Long Island, New York
- Vintage: 2025
- Appellation: Long Island
- Blend: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay
- Harvest: September 21 – October 7
- Fermentation: Cold-settled at 40°F, fermented at 62°F, no MLF
- Aging: 12 weeks sur lie
- Size: 750ml
- Tasting Notes: Honeysuckle, wild strawberry, floral, vibrant acidity, mineral, long savory finish
- Best Paired With: Grilled shrimp, lobster rolls, summer salads, light pasta, soft cheeses
The rosé that started it all — Wölffer 2025 is a winemaker’s dream vintage and a stunning reflection of Long Island at its very best.
Cakebread Cellars Sauvignon Blanc North Coast 2024 750ml
Cakebread Cellars · Sauvignon Blanc · North Coast · California · 2024
Cakebread Cellars planted Sauvignon Blanc as the very first white grape variety at their Napa Valley winery in 1972 — and it’s still thriving there today. More than five decades later, the North Coast Sauvignon Blanc remains one of California’s most reliable and food-friendly whites: sourced from North Coast vineyards and Napa Valley estate ranches in Carneros, Suscol Springs, Rutherford, and Calistoga, fermented in a variety of vessels to build complexity, and crafted for the kind of zesty, citrus-driven freshness that makes it perfect for the aperitif hour and the dinner table alike.
The 2024 growing season delivered ideal conditions — winter and spring rains, moderate summer temperatures, and an extended pre-veraison period that allowed clusters to accumulate a wealth of aromatic compounds. The wine bursts with aromas of pink grapefruit, Granny Smith apple, kiwi, honeydew, guava, and lime zest. On the palate, bright citrus and green apple meet orange sherbet and lemongrass, with hints of tropical fruit and a refreshing acidity that carries through to a balanced, lingering finish of citrus, melon, pear, and tropical notes.

Chateau Meyney Saint-Estephe 2023 750ml
Château Meyney — Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux 2023
Château Meyney is one of Saint-Estèphe’s great overachievers — a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel estate situated right next to the famed Château Montrose, whose proximity to the Gironde estuary helps cool the vines during summer heatwaves and contributes to the wine’s remarkable balance and longevity. The 2023 is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, and 12% Petit Verdot, sourced from a mix of gravelly and clay soils and aged 18 months in French oak barrels. James Suckling and Jeb Dunnuck both awarded it 94 points; Vinous and The Wine Independent 93; Wine Spectator 91. Jeb Dunnuck noted that “the quality here has stepped up a notch recently” and projects a cellar window of 2029–2053.
The color is a deep, saturated purple. The nose is dark and savory: cassis, elderberry, graphite, smoky tobacco, crushed stone minerality, incense, licorice, dried herbs, and pressed lavender. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a pure, focused, layered mouthfeel — linear acidity, ripe and polished tannins, and a long, driving finish with beams of structure that demand cellaring. Drinkable now with aeration, but built to evolve beautifully over the next 25–30 years.
James Suckling 94 • Jeb Dunnuck 94 • Vinous 93 • The Wine Independent 93 • Wine Spectator 91 — "Beautifully done and going to evolve nicely over the coming 25–30 years." — Jeb Dunnuck
Expert Reviews — Vintage 2023
James Suckling — 94 Points
Crunchy dark fruit with elderberries, herbal notes and licorice. The chiseled palate is medium-bodied, showing linear acidity complemented by a crisp edge. A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot and 12% Petit Verdot. Drinkable now with some aeration, but better from 2028.Jeb Dunnuck — 94 Points
Always a classic Saint-Estèphe (and I think the quality here has stepped up a notch recently), the 2023 Château Meyney comes from a mix of gravelly and clay soils and is based on 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, and 12% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in French oak barrels. It sports a deep purple hue as well as beautiful cassis, graphite, smoky tobacco, and crushed stone-like minerality. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, focused, layered mouthfeel, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish. It’s beautifully done and is going to evolve nicely over the coming 25–30 years if well stored. Drink 2029–2053.Vinous — 93 Points
The 2023 Meyney is every bit as convincing as it was en primeur. Dark and quite savory, the 2023 has a lot to offer. Gravel, incense, tobacco, licorice, dried herbs, chocolate and pressed lavender infuse this mid-weight Saint-Estèphe with a good deal of character. Beams of tannin shape the insistent, driving finish. The Wine Independent — 93 Points
2023 Meyney has a creamy, rounded and fruity nose with hints of yoghurt and dairy products. It is very soft and forthcoming and is made in the velvety, pleasant style very typical for the chateau. This is a good Meyney that should age well and be approachable at an early stage.Wine Spectator — 91 Points
A fresh, racy-edged style, with damson plum and bitter cherry fruit framed by a chalky edge that’s embedded nicely. Iris and violet accents gild the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2033.

Naudin Pere et Fils Bourgogne Aligote 2023 750ml
Founded in 1849 in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Doudet-Naudin is one of Burgundy's oldest and most respected Maisons. Acquired by the Doudet family in 1933, the house has grown steadily while holding fast to its founding values: respect for tradition and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Today, under the stewardship of Christophe Rochet, the Maison continues to honor that legacy while evolving with care.
The Naudin Père et Fils Bourgogne Aligôté 2023 is sourced from limestone-rich soils within the regional Bourgogne appellation — a terroir that lends the Aligôté grape a finer, more mineral character than many of its counterparts. Grapes are harvested mechanically, pressed with a pneumatic press, and vinified under controlled temperatures in stainless steel, then matured for nine months in cool cellars to preserve freshness and precision.
As Chablis prices climb beyond everyday reach, a well-made Aligôté like this one is a genuine find: bone dry, crisply chiseled, and built for the table.

I Favati, Fiano di Avellino Pietramara 2024 750ml
I Favati | Pietramara | Fiano di Avellino DOCG | Campania, Italy | 2024
Vinous: 91 Points (Prior 2023 vintage) — Minty herbs combine with crushed stone and nuances of exotic spice as the Pietramara blossoms in the glass. Soothingly round, displaying a pretty inner sweetness balanced by juicy acidity and a core of tart orchard fruits. Hints of raw almond mix with candied citrus, showing a sweet and sour character through the long and mouthwatering finale.
I Favati is one of Campania's most respected family estates, farming the volcanic hillside vineyards of Avellino with a commitment to expressing the singular character of Fiano — one of southern Italy's most ancient and distinguished white varieties. The Pietramara is the estate's flagship Fiano di Avellino, sourced from old vines planted in the high-altitude soils of the Irpinia hills, where cool temperatures, volcanic ash and mineral-rich limestone combine to produce whites of remarkable depth, tension and longevity.
Fiano di Avellino has been prized since antiquity — the Romans called it Vitis Apiana, the vine of the bees, for the irresistible sweetness of its grapes. Today it is recognized as one of Italy's finest white DOCG appellations, capable of producing wines that age gracefully for a decade or more. The Pietramara is vinified to honor that tradition: fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic precision, with extended lees contact adding texture and complexity.
The 2024 opens with aromas of lemon peel, ripe pear, white peach and a distinctive smoky, mineral note — the hallmark of Avellino's volcanic soils. With air, hints of almond blossom, dried herbs, grilled pineapple and hazelnut emerge. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, with bright acidity, a creamy texture and a long, mouthwatering finish marked by citrus, stone fruit and a clean saline minerality.
Serve well chilled at 48–52°F. An excellent aperitif and a natural partner for seafood, grilled fish, shellfish, light pasta with cream or herb sauces, roasted vegetables, fresh cheeses and the classic dishes of Campania.

Turley Juvenile Zinfandel 2024 750ml
Turley Wine Cellars Juvenile Zinfandel — California 2024 750ml
Turley Wine Cellars is California’s most celebrated Zinfandel specialist, founded by Larry Turley in Napa Valley in 1993 with a singular mission: to rescue and vinify fruit from California’s oldest, most historic Zinfandel vines. The Juvenile is Turley’s entry-level Zinfandel — but “entry-level” is a relative term here. Sourced from younger vines across California’s finest Zinfandel-growing regions, the Juvenile consistently delivers the house’s signature combination of perfumed aromatics, mid-weight elegance, and vibrant fruit character. The 2024 vintage is described by critics as an especially delicate and gracious expression — a beauty by any measure.
The 2024 Juvenile opens with crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, spice, and mint on an expressive, perfumed nose. The winemaker notes juicy dark cherries, blackberries, and just-ripened raspberries alongside savory Thanksgiving spices. On the palate, notes of salty dried meats and brambly fruits are paired with silken tannins — mid-weight, refined, and utterly drinkable.
Vinous 91 Points — “A very pretty entry-level offering from Turley. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, spice and mint give this mid-weight, perfumed red tons of character. The 2024 is an especially delicate, gracious Zinfandel. What a beauty.”

Vina Cobos Felino Chardonnay 2023 750ml
Viña Cobos Felino Chardonnay 2023 is a bright, elegant expression from the high-altitude Uco Valley of Mendoza — one of Argentina's most exciting white wine terroirs. Crafted by Viña Cobos, the celebrated project of Paul Hobbs and the Pepe Galante family, Felino is the estate's approachable entry point: a wine of genuine quality and immediate pleasure, made with the same winemaking philosophy that drives their acclaimed Cobos and Bramare labels.
Pale yellow with greenish highlights. The nose is fresh and inviting, with aromas of pear, green apple, grapefruit, and citrus blossom, lifted by sweet pea and a delicate floral note of Meyer lemon. On the palate, the wine is creamy and broad, with a plush, oily texture and good freshness — only 7% of the wine sees oak, preserving the Uco Valley's natural vibrancy while adding a pleasant depth and a slight toasty nuance on the finish. Crisp acidity keeps everything lively and well-balanced through to the lingering, fruit-driven close.
Awarded 91 points by Vinous and 90 points by Wine Spectator, the 2023 Felino Chardonnay punches well above its price point — a testament to the Uco Valley's exceptional altitude and cool-climate conditions, which yield grapes of remarkable precision and aromatic intensity. (Vintage 2023).
Serve well chilled. Pairs beautifully with grilled fish, roasted chicken, creamy pasta, fresh goat cheese, and light vegetable dishes. A versatile, crowd-pleasing white for any occasion.
Gaja Ca' Marcanda Promis Toscana 2023 750ml
Ca’ Marcanda Promis — Bolgheri, Tuscany, Italy 2023
When Angelo Gaja — the most celebrated name in Piedmontese wine — decided to plant roots in Bolgheri, he did not do it quietly. After four years of negotiations with a single landowner (the estate’s name, Ca’ Marcanda, means “house of endless negotiations” in local dialect), he acquired the property in 1996 and set about building one of the most ambitious wine estates in all of Tuscany. Promis is Ca’ Marcanda’s entry-level wine — but “entry-level Gaja” is a very different thing from entry-level anything else. A blend of Merlot, Syrah, and Sangiovese from the estate’s Bolgheri vineyards, the 2023 is a classic, expressive vintage: bright, structured, and unmistakably coastal Tuscan in character.
The color is a vivid, bright ruby-red. The nose is immediately captivating: cinnamon, star anise, and warm spice frame pronounced red fruits — strawberry, black cherry, and a hint of dried violet. On the palate, the tannins are juicy and persistent, building through the mid-palate to a finish defined by a beautiful coastal salinity — the classic hallmark of great Bolgheri vintages. Elegant, energetic, and built to age.

Expert Review — Vintage 2024
Wine Enthusiast — 90 Points
Very high-toned and stylish aromas of just-ripe dark cherry, licorice, and soft garrigue create a precise and inviting nose. Refreshing acidity keeps the palate lively and delicious, enhancing the salty minerality that adds juiciness to the lavish black fruit. This wine is sure to impress friends — be sure to grab an extra bottle.
67Wine Buyer’s Note
We first discovered this Côtes du Rhône at one of our favorite local restaurants, Manny’s Bistro — where the Magret de Canard and the moules Provençal are both essential. This medium-bodied Rhône is fruit-forward without being overwhelmed by fruit, and its balanced acidity makes it equally at home with duck and mussels. It is simply quaffable — the kind of bottle you finish before you realize it.

Val di Suga Brunello di Montalcino 2019 375ml HALF BOTTLE
Val di Suga | Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2019 | Tuscany, Italy
Val di Suga's estate Brunello is a study in Montalcino's remarkable diversity. Sourced equally from three distinct terroirs — Vigna del Lago in the northeast, Poggio al Granchio in the southeast, and Vigna Spuntali in the southwest — this 2019 brings together the full complexity of the appellation in a single, beautifully composed wine.
The nose opens with dried cherries, blood orange, cigar box, and smoky incense, layered with wild herbs and a whisper of chinotto. On the palate it is concentrated yet refined: vibrant acidity, silky tannins, and a mineral-tinged backbone that gives the wine both structure and elegance. The finish is long, pure, and deeply satisfying. The 2019 vintage in Montalcino was stellar — and this half bottle captures it perfectly for those moments when a full bottle is one glass too many.

Brand Riesling Feinherb Biodynamic 2024 1L
Winemaker Description
Lively fruit and minerality on a zesty palate. Slightly sweet, with a dry finish. Unfined, unfiltered.
Founded in 1891, the Brand winery has been producing wine in the Pfalz for five generations. Their vineyards are located on limestone-rich soils around the village of Bockenheim, in the northern part of the region, along the border of the Rheinhessen. Daniel and Jonas' father, Jürgen, always farmed their vines responsibly, but when his children took over, they immediately transitioned to organic viticulture, gaining certification in 2017. The Brothers Brand also utilize biodynamic treatments, always experimenting to discover which practices work best in their vines. All of their wines are made with little, if any, added sulfites.
Wonderfully aromatic with lively fruit and minerality and a lovely zest and charge on the palate, perfectly balanced by the residual sugar. The Feinherb Riesling has a slight sweetness on the attack, though the sugar melds perfectly into the body, finishing dry and crisp. No fining or filtration and minimal use of sulfur.

Clos des Fous Grillos Cantores Cabernet Sauvignon Alto Cachapoal 2021 750ml
Expert Review — Vintage 2021
Vinous 90 Points | The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Grillos Cantores hails from Requínoa in the Cachapoal Andes region. After a year in concrete vats, this bright purple wine unfolds currant and sweet briar notes along with a faintly balsamic layer. Dry, polished and light, this easygoing red offers fine-grained tannins with a lasting fruity/herbal finish — an unexpectedly light Cabernet from Cachapoal.
About Clos des Fous
Clos des Fous ("Enclosure of the Madmen") was founded in 2008 by four friends — including world-renowned terroir expert Pedro Parra — who were tired of hearing that Chilean wine was boring and industrial. They set out to make exciting wines from extreme terroirs with minimal intervention. Pedro holds a Ph.D. in terroir science and consults globally with vignerons like Jean-Marc Roulot.
The name "Grillos Cantores" means "Singing Crickets," a nod to the sound that fills this specific vineyard in Alto Cachapoal at the foot of the Andes.
Tasting & Pairings
Dark fruits (blackberry, plum), currant, sweet briar, and a faintly balsamic layer. Dry, polished, and surprisingly light-bodied with fine-grained tannins and a herbal finish. Serve at cellar temperature.
- Grilled lamb with rosemary — herbal notes in the wine mirror the seasoning.
- Steak with chimichurri — the wine's acidity stands up to vinegar and herbs.
- Aged cheddar — tannins cut through the fat in hard, salty cheeses.

Expert Reviews - Vintage 2023
Jonathan Cristaldi of Decanter Magazine writes 93 Points | This wine impresses with its richness, creamy vanilla, and buttery brioche notes on the nose—never over the top—building into a fleshy, layered palate balanced by excellent acidity, with a pH of around 3.4 and 6.2 TA. Candied ginger peel, rich citrus, and tangerine peel lead into baked pineapple notes on a very long, saline-mineral finish—a true crowd-pleaser, perfect with roast chicken and potatoes or roast pork.
