Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough New Zealand 2023 750ml
NOTE: temporary sold out, we expect to receive afternoon 02/03/2025
Winemaker Description
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc put New Zealand on the map with its captivating flavor. Their signature style is famous for its vibrant nose, mouthwatering palate and long finish. Stone fruit and citrus stand out, while minerality (think rain on river stones) provides balance
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2023
Rebecca Gibb MW writes | It must be difficult being Cloudy Bay, because fame brings extra scrutiny and the question, ‘Does this brand offer value for money in the context of the wider region?’ In 2023, the Sauvignon Blanc silences its critics. Its vineyard may be much larger than it once was, but it delivers – dry, clean and elegant, with classic characteristics and the bonus of welcome structure on the finish. It may not be the most flamboyant on the nose, focusing more on the herbal rather than tropical spectrum (whether that's elderflower, gooseberry or classic passion fruit), but that seems to be a function of the vintage. The 2023 is long, fragrant and exactly what you want from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, but with an extra layer of class. - Vinous 93
James Suckling writes: Shows typical guava, grass and flint aromas with some green melon. Medium-bodied with a solid density of fruit as well as brightness and acid energy. Really well done for this vintage. Drink or hold. Screw cap. - James Suckling 93
MaryAnn Worobiec writes: Leaps out of the glass with effusiveness, featuring flavors of apple blossom, Key lime, Honeycrisp, lemon thyme and fresh grated ginger. Notes of passionfruit, pineapple and lemon candy linger on the long, expressive and mouthwatering finish. Drink now. - Wine Spectator 93

La Rioja Alta Rioja Vina ALBERDI RESERVA 2020 750ml
Our Professional Review
One of the most classic and historic producers in all of Rioja. Medium-bodied with chew tannins with ripe red fruit flavors. Beautiful finish with a lively acidity.
- Oscar Garcia, Wine Buyer, 67wine
Winemaker Description - Vintage 2020
Characterized by a long growing cycle and perfect phenolic ripening. It produced wines with great aromatic intensity and fruit concentration, well-balanced between alcohol and acidity, and highly suitable for long aging.
grapes
100% Tempranillo from our own vineyards in Rodezno and Labastoda, with an average vine age of 40 years.
Manual harvesting in boxes, with cluster selection in the vineyards. The grapes are transported refrigerated to the winery to maintain their integrity. After rigorous quality control on optical sorting tables, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occur naturally. Two years of aging in our own American oak barrels (new the first year and four-year-old barrels the second). We perform four traditional rackings by candlelight, from barrel to barrel. Bottled in June 2023.
Intense and brilliant garnet color with a vivid ruby rim. On the nose, it stands out for its high intensity, with notes of red fruits—raspberries, wild strawberries, and redcurrants— wrapped in a marked balsamic aroma of caramel, vanilla, toffee, and roasted coffee. On the palate, it is long, balanced, and fresh, with fine and silky tannins. A long finish, where the initial balsamic and fresh red fruit aromas characteristic of Viña Alberdi reappear.
Viña Alberdi is characterised by a notable food-pairing versatility. It is an ideal companion to appetisers, snacks and barbecues, perfect with rice, pastas and stews, and great with lightly-grilled meat and fish.
Expert Review - Vintage 2020
Luis Gutierrez writes: The younger wine here is the 2020 Viña Alberdi, a versatile version of the Haro reds. It was produced with Tempranillo fermented in stainless steel and matured in American oak barrels for two years (it's sold as Reserva in international markets and Crianza in Spain). It has 14% alcohol with a pH of 3.6 and five grams of acidity. It has a classical nose of ripe fruit, American oak and spices, the subtle notes of forest floor, still young. The palate is velvety and very balanced with polished tannins. Approachable but should also age. Drinking 2024 to 2029. - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 92
Zekun Shuai writes: A classical, typical Rioja Alta red with elegant notes of vanilla, coconut, smoked spices and strawberries. Refined and suave, with fine tannins and a long, creamy finish. Juicy and elegant. Really approachable now, but give it two more years to get more mushroom complexity. - James Suckling 93

William Fevre Chablis Champs Royaux 2022 750ml
Winemaker Description
Very fresh bouquet with notes of citrus and white fleshed fruit, with a very slightly oaky finish. Fresh and supple, the wine is marked by mineral notes that are typical of the appellation.
Expert Review
Neal Martin writes: The 2022 Chablis Champs Royaux has a pleasant reduction on the nose. Touches of yellow fruit come through with aeration. The palate is well-balanced with decent mineralité, fine acidity, and attractive Granny Smiths mixed with pear towards the finish. Worth seeking out. - Vinous

La Crema Chardonnay Monterey 2023 750ml
Winemaker’s notes
La Crema Monterey Chardonnay offers aromas of grilled pineapple, citrus blossom, tangerine, and papaya. On the palate, white peach, key lime, and honeydew melon are complimented by a touch of barrel spice, and a river stone minerality.
The winery's original name, La Crema Viñera, means "best of the vine," setting the standard for all the team has done since 1979. Alluring blackberry, sandalwood, and ripe blackcurrant notes intermix with dried rose petals and mulling spices. Medium-bodied with intriguing cola spices, blackcurrant jam, a hint of white mocha, and a spine of zippy acidity, bracketed by fine tannins and a chalky mineral finish. Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc Private Bin Marlborough 2023 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2023
James Suckling writes: Lots of passion fruit, guava and grapefruit on the nose. Bright, tropical and balanced, with medium body and a juicy, fruity finish. Sustainable. Drink now. Screw cap. - James Suckling 90
Tamlyn Currin writes: For a wine that is presumably made in vast quantities and in the most technical way possibly, this is surprisingly good. Full of bodacious tropical fruit. Mangoes and oranges with a little bit of grapefruit and sweet fennel. The balance of fruit and acidity is great, and it certainly tastes and feels more full-bodied than 12.5%. It's generous, friendly and appealing. I really can't fault it! - Jancis Robinson 16
MaryAnn Worobiec writes: A vibrant version, showing a mix of pineapple, mango and passion fruit flavors that is direct and mouthwatering, with touches of ginger and green tea on the finish. Drink now. - Wine Spectator
Erin Larkin writes: The 2023 Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc is a behemoth in the export market, and it delivers a pretty archetypal “Marlborough Sauvy” experience—crunchy, herbal, green, tropical and juicy. All good things in this context. 12.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. - Robert Parker Wine Advocate
Roger Jones, Freddy Bulmer, Cat Lomax writes: Delicate mineral notes with a mixture of passionfruit and meadow grass aromas. Citrus fruit, butterscotch, stone fruit, white peaches and nectarine. - Decanter
Winemaker Description
This is the Sauvignon Blanc that put Villa Maria on the world map. A blend of both Marlborough’s Wairau and Awatere Valleys our winemakers take great care to ensure this wine showcases exceptional balance and consistency every vintage. The room-filling aromatics and strikingly crisp character of our Private Bin Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc are why it is so popular and such a memorable experience.
A perfect aperitif wine, serve chilled on warm summer days. Fresh herbal flavors match well with most salads, whereas the riper tropical flavors match well with any fish recipes.

Fattoria La Valentina Colline Pescaresi Pecorino Organic 2023 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2023
James Suckling 91 Points | A refreshingly saline white with notes of lemon rind, sliced pears and chamomile. It’s medium-bodied, lively and delicious. A bright expression of pecorino>Vinous 91 More savory than sweet, the 2023 Pecorino lifts from the glass with a thrust of wild herbs, crushed rocks and lime zest. Round and supple, this builds lovely tension through a core of saline minerality and citrus-infused green apple fruits. It finishes amazingly fresh and full of zesty tension, leaving a salty sensation and hints of young kiwi that linger on and on.
Pecorino is one of the most exciting new white grape varieties coming from Italy today, and Abruzzo is the source for many of the best. La Valentina's Pecorino is a delicious white wine 100% Pecorino in the Colline Pescaresi (hills of Pescara). A bit of aging on the lees adds complexity and weight to this wine.
Drink as an aperitif or with mollusk, shell fish, and Adriatic fish dishes with a strong flavor. Winemaker Description.

Domaine Sigalas AA I Assyrtiko and Athiri SANTORINI 2023 750ml
Expert Review
Monica Larner writes: A field blend of 85% Assyrtiko and 15% Athiri, the 2023 Santorini Aα offers the structured tension of the first grape with the pretty floral aromas of the second. Athiri tends to be lower in acidity, but its presence gives a gentle lift and elegance to the bouquet. This vintage saw low yields and heat stress, but the results are even more concentrated and lovely as a result. The grapes are not destemmed before being pressed, and you perceive a hint of waxy richness on the close. Drinking 2024 to 2028. - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 92
Winemaker Description

E. Guigal Gigondas 2019 750ml
Expert Reviews
Jeb Dunnuck writes: The 2019 Gigondas is terrific, with a more medium-bodied, elegant style as well as lots of red and black fruits, spice, incense, and garrigue. It's a Southern Rhône charmer yet has balance, fine tannins, and certainly a sense of class. Jeb Dunnuck 91
Joe Czerwiński writes: Marked by scents of Provence herbs, cherries and blueberries, the 2019 Gigondas is another successful example of this Southern Rhône appellation. Full-bodied and concentrated, it's rich and velvety in feel, with a long finish. Drinking 2023 - 2030. Robert Parker Wine Advocate 91-93
James Suckling (91 Posts) writes: Aromas of black licorice, charred rosemary, coriander and plums. Full-bodied with silky tannins. Generous fruit on the palate with steady balance and intensity. Drink or hold.
James Molesworth writes (Wine Spectator 91 Points): Understated style, with light incense and worn cedar notes running along the edges of the slightly dried currant, raspberry and red cherry fruit flavors. The cedary edge lingers longest in the end. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Best from 2023 through 2030.
Josh Raynolds writes: Full ruby color. The deeply perfumed nose showcases cherry, dark berries, licorice, savory herbs and olive notes. Concentrated, spice-laced cassis, cherry-cola and candied lavender flavors smoothly blend depth and vivacity. Polished tannins come in slowly on a very long, penetrating finish that strongly repeats the cherry and floral notes. Drinking 2025 to 2032.

Chateau Larose Trintaudon Haut-Medoc Cru Bourgeois 2019 750ml
Expert Ratings -Vintage 2019
James Suckling writes: Blueberry, blackcurrant, and black cherry in the nose with some sweet tobacco and moss. Full-bodied with chewy tannins that are polished and savory. Fruity yet reserved finish. Give this two or three years to open. Try after 2023. - James Suckling 93
Jane Anson writes: A Cru Bourgeois Superieur as of the 2018 vintage, giving a good display of understated Médoc charm with its 2019 vintage. Blackberry and black cherry fruits, firm tannins, well measured with an elegant frame. Violet edges to the colour also suggesting bright acidities, a little austere overall at this stage but great potential to develop over the next few years in bottle. - Decanter 90
James Molesworth writes: Direct, with a good mix of cassis, bitter plum, savory and tobacco notes. Fresh and focused through the finish, with a lingering hint of chalky minerality. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. - Wine Spectator
Winemaker Notes
Dark and very intense colour of deep ruby. Ripe aromas of small black fruit dominate (blackcurrant, blackberry), though with good freshness. The palate is fleshy, with a nice touch of tannin. Long, caressing finish. To be watched during ageing, which will seek to bring out the harmony and the balance.
Blend: 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot

Domaine de Chevalier Grand Cru Classe Pessac-Leognan 2020 750ml
Expert Reviews
Jeb Dunnuck writes: The Grand Vin 2020 Domaine De Chevalier ratchets everything up another notch and will be one of the legendary wines from this address. Notes of pure cassis, graphite, lead pencil, and scorched earth define its incredible aromatics, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannins, no hard edges, and a great, great finish. This is pure, classic, regal Pessac-Léognan is as good as anything in the vintage. Give bottles 4-6 years and it will evolve for 50, 60, 70+ years. I absolutely love this wine. The blend is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, and the rest Cabernet Franc. Drinking 2027 to 2077. - Jeb Dunnuck 98+
Jane Anson writes: Exactly as you hope to find a great Bordeaux at this stage, still very much firm in its tannic structure, rippled with clear cinammon, turmeric and black pepper notes alongside creamy cassis, blackberry, bilberry, cigar box, smoked earth. A brilliant Chevalier. 38hl/h yield. Drinking 2027 to 2048. - Jane Anson 95
Jancis Robinson writes: Interesting to taste this immediately after Les Carmes Haut-Brion 2020, which tastes as though it’s sort of aiming for Domaine de Chevalier style but possibly with younger vines? Or less experience? This Domaine de Chevalier 2020 effortlessly triumphs over the heat and drought of the 2020 vintage to produce a nuanced, promising wine that seems to have so much potential for future development without following any exterior trend – just expressing its location, with its trademark freshness. Bravissimo! Drinking 2030 to 2050. - Jancis Robinson 18
Richard Hemming MW writes: Cask sample. Perfumed nose with violet and milk chocolate. Beautifully expressive and open-knit, with excellent fruit purity and smartly integrated oak spice. Yum yum, this gets the balance spot on – firm but approachable tannins, savoury but not austere fruit, lots of potential but tempting to drink now. Drinking 2028 to 2040. - Jancis Robinson 17.5
Neal Martin writes: The 2020 Domaine de Chevalier has a refined and understated nose, well-defined with blackberry, briar, gravel and earth. Sensual in style, it gradually unfurls in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins and a little creaminess toward the back end, but there is still decent structure here. Give this four to five years in bottle—the class shines through. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting. Drinking 2028 to 2055. - Vinous 95
James Molesworth writes: Well-built, pulling ample and weighty waves of cassis, plum reduction and blackberry preserves along, atop a broad spine of warm loam, smoldering tobacco and singed alder. Long and deep through the fine-grained finish, with a warm paving stone note that won't quit, thanks to well-buried acidity -- not an easy feat in this vintage. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2028 through 2038. - Wine Spectator 95
Antonio Galloni writes: The 2020 Domaine de Chevalier is brilliant. Bright, poised and wonderfully pure, the 2020 Domaine de Chevalier marries the radiance of the year with tremendous freshness. Red cherry fruit, blood orange, mint, star anise and cinnamon all meld together. The 2020 is a wine built on aromatic presence and persistence, more so than heft, with all the elements very nicely balanced. What a wine! Tasted two times. Drinking 2030 to 2060. - Vinous 96
William Kelley writes: The 2020 Domaine de Chevalier is a touch more tightly wound than the brilliant 2019 out of the gates, but it seems likely to equal that vintage with a bit of time. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of minty blackberries and cassis mingled with notions of burning embers, spices, rose petals and orange rind, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and concentrated, with a deep core of fruit, powdery structuring tannins and a long, saline finish. As I wrote last year, this estate in recent vintages has arrived at a sort of stylistic contemporary classicism that evokes the great wines of yesteryear from this address, and the 2020 continues that trend. Drinking 2028 to 2060. - 95+
James Suckling writes: The purity of fruit is really something here, with blackcurrants and blackberries, together with orange, stone and granite character. Mind-boggling in many ways. Full-bodied with very fine tannins that are polished and pure. Such a fine texture. Lots of primary fruit. Like picking wonderfully ripe grapes. Great length. One for the cellar. Drink after 2030. - James Suckling 97 - 99
Georgina Hindle writes: Blueberry and blackcurrant fruit on the nose, touches of ripeness and freshness. juicy and lively, but straight and tense too, with such liquorice and tobacco and chocolate bitter spices. It's quite constricted and focused right now. Generous but not necessarily charming on the palate. Precision and clarity is there no doubt, this has been well made and it has that mature ripe fruit aspect that gives a wide mouthfeel with lots of tension and direction. Super young but super promising. Rich, heady, a touch high alcohol on the finish though. 5% Petit Verdot completes the blend. Drinking 2028 to 2055. - Decanter 96

Veuve Clicquot YELLOW Label Brut Champagne 750ml
Winemaker Description
Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is the signature champagne of the House. Dominated by Pinot Noir, it offers the perfect balance of structure and finesse. Golden-yellow in color, with a foaming necklace of tiny bubbles. It is pleasing to the nose; initially reminiscent of yellow and white fruits, then of vanilla and later brioche. Note the fine balance between the fruity aromas coming from the grape varieties and the toasty notes, the result of the three years of bottle aging. The first sip delivers all the freshness and strength so typical of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label with a symphony of fruit following (pear, lemon). It is a true member of the Brut family, well-structured, admirably vinous.

Julia Sheppard writes: Tasted in magnum, the nose offers yeasty bready aromas topped with fresh citrus, hints of stone fruit and strawberry tart. Veuve Clicquot's iconic Yellow Label is a blend of 30% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier and 50% Pinot Noir, which provides the cuvée's signature structure. Up to 45% reserve wines in the blend ensure consistency. Drinking 2024 to 2030. - Decanter 91

Jeb Dunnuck writes: Comprising 85% of production, the NV Champagne Yellow Label Brut is 40% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, and the rest Meunier, with 35-40% reserve wine. Entirely fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, it spends three years on the lees, and the wine sees 9 grams per liter of dosage, but the house does not disclose the disgorgement date. A golden straw hue, it’s ripe with aromas of yeasty bread dough, peaches, and fresh flowers. Medium-bodied on the palate, it’s ripe and juicy with rounded red berried fruit, a supple texture, a pillowy mousse, and a warming finish. Fresh and inviting, this is a solid and consistent aperitif to enjoy over the coming several years. Drinking 2023 to 2026. - Jeb Dunnuck 89

Domaine Juliette Avril Chateauneuf-Du-Pape 2020 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2020
Jeb Dunnuck writes 91 Points | The 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape from Avril checks in as 65% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and 10% Mourvedre. It has a perfumed nose of Bing cherries, candied violets, and ground pepper, as well as some sappy floral background nuances. Nicely textured on the palate, it's medium-bodied, has ripe yet building tannins, and a great finish. It's a beautiful, elegant wine that has lots to love.

Cantina Kurtatsch Alto Adige Pinot Grigio DOC 2023 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2023
James Suckling 91 Points | Fresh and fruity white that has notes of lemons, sliced pears.
Jeff Porter of the Wine Enthusiast 89 Points | This wine has a light, spritzy nose with bright lemon-lime notes and a subtle herbal touch. The flavors are fresh and zesty, leading to a tart, lively finish. It's a fun and tasty sipper, perfect for casual occasions or pairing with light, summery dishes like a fresh green salad or ceviche.
James Button writes: This Pinot Grigio, fermented using neutral yeast in stainless steel, offers up some soft melon and apple aromas, while the palate is fresh, stony and juicy, with a succulent peachy core. - Decanter 90
The large temperature differences between day and night in these vineyards is the magic that lends the wine its distinctive aroma of white pears, fresh flowers and citrus fruits. In the mouth, the wine is juicy and round. The creamy texture is complemented by fresh, animating acidity. This is mainly thanks to the higher-elevation Pinot grigio vines. An expressive wine with a mineral, salty finish.

Domaine du Vieux Lazaret Chateauneuf du Pape BLANC 2023 375ml HALF BOTTLE
Expert Review
Jeb Dunnuck writes: The 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Domaine Du Vieux Lazaret Blanc is a classic blend of 59% Clairette, 35% Grenache Blanc, 5% Bourboulenc, and the rest Roussanne. Billecart Salmon ROSE Brut Champagne 750ml
Expert Reviews
Antonio Galloni writes: The NV Brut Rosé (base 2020) is another wine that points to the progress Mathieu Roland-Billecart has made here in recent years. Pliant, creamy and super-expressive, this edition is striking. It has a good bit of textural richness and is fresher than the 2018 tasted alongside it. Of course, some of that may be as simple as time in bottle. Pomegranate and grapefruit are laced into the brisk, finely cut finish. This release is based on 2020, with 46% reserve wines back to 2014. Dosage is 4.7 grams per liter. Disgorged: second trimester 2023. Drinking 2024 to 2030. - Vinous 91
Tim Hewson writes: Based on the 2020 vintage, Billecart-Salmon's signature rosé appears to be on its finest form of recent years under cellar master Florent Nys, full of fragrant, crunchy redcurrant, red cherry and orange fruit with an alluring hibiscus-like floral lift and subtle green peppercorn spicing. The Meunier wraps the intensity of the vintage base in a little softness that keeps the focus on effortless ease (helped by the selection of delicate Chardonnays and young, fresh reserve wines), all adding up to a rosé of immediacy and charm, sweet-natured without sweetness and fragrant without overt fruitiness. 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier. Drinking 2024 to 2027. - Decanter 92

Chateau Miraval Cotes de Provence ROSE Organically Farmed 2023 750ml
Winemaker Description
An alluringly clear pale pink colour with gleaming pastel pink reflections. Fine and elegant, the nose offers a superb aromatic bouquet with notes of red berries and cherry blossom. The mouth is full, vivacious, and distinguished with a refinement that is heightened by delicious notes of blood orange and redcurrant perfectly balanced by a lovely mineral structure and just the right hint of bitterness. These luscious aromas are prolonged on the lingering finish of this elegant, well-balanced wine.
Like in the Northern Rhône, the 2023 vintage was full of contrasts in Provence, requiring composure and meticulous and permanent attention of our vines. After a dry winter, the spring was particularly wet with episodes of hail which caused damage. Following these heavy rains, we had to face significant spells of mildew before a particularly hot and dry summer.
The harvest thus began early on September 6th. Due to these climatic hazards, the harvest offers a limited quantity but with magnificent quality. The wines are now resting peacefully in the cellar. In the fall, we were also able to harvest a good crop of olives, around 15 tonnes.

Marcel Lapierre Morgon CUVEE N Organic 2023 750ml NO SULPHUR
Expert Review - Vintage 2023
Vinous 93 Points | The 2023 Morgon (Non-Sulphité) has a fresh and vibrant nose, a little more brightness than the SO2 bottling. This conveys a sense of coiled-up energy. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity and that same crunchy red fruit as the regular cuvée, but with a tad more flesh toward the finish. Lapierre told me that the brightness tends to disappear within six weeks, but nevertheless, this remains a magnificent Morgon.
Winemaker Description
From the iconic Lapierre estate, this is their rare tête-de-cuvée, the 'n' in the name referring to 'no sulfur' -- the oldest vines in their Morgon holdings produce this wine, vinified carbonically, fully sans soufre.

Donnafugata Sicilia Anthilia Bianco Catarratto Sicilia 2023 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2023
Eric Guido writes of Vinous 90 Points | The 2023 Anthìlia is remarkably pretty, blending white flowers, freshly sliced pears and hints of wet stone. This is silky-smooth with nearly oily textures, offset by a twang of sour citrus and crunchy orchard fruit. The finish is perfumed and crisply refreshing, wrapping things up with a lime and mineral tinge that calls the taster back to the glass. Drinking 2024 to 2026.
Wine Enthusiast 90 Points | The nose has energetic, sunny aromas of lemon, lime, white peaches, orange blossoms and crushed rock, while the palate stays warm, citrus and saline but with the fresh bite of Mediterranean herbs. You will (and should) feel virtuous with the ultrasustainable packaging, but beyond that, the light bottle and twist top make it an ideal companion for a day at the beach, where Sicilian whites shine. Ridge Three Valleys Sonoma County Zinfandel Red Blend 2022 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2022
Clive Purshouse writes: It is a departure for Ridge, as it's not a single vineyard wine but instead a blend of 10 different sites from throughout Sonoma County. Bright and delightful with savoury herbs, tart early-season blackberries, and muddled mint leaves, all vie for attention in this wine's generous aromatic show. A melange of wild mountain berries, mouthfuls of dried savoury garrigue and lavender, dashes of white pepper and an incredible lift to the finish which lingers for an eternity. Concentrated and refined. Drinking 2024 to 2034. - Decanter 94
Tim Fish writes: A broad-shouldered red, with a potent structure but expressive blackberry, savory dill and white pepper flavors that speed toward medium-grained tannins. Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet. Drink now through 2033. - Wine Spectator 92
Billy Norris writes: A blend of 65% Zinfandel, 16% Carignane and 14% Petite Sirah, the 2022 Three Valleys is super-welcoming and disarming from the get-go. A superb introduction to the Ridge house style, it balances the savory and the fruity—tobacco, cedar, dark berry fruit and loads of spice, all hemmed in by fresh acidity and insistent but yielding tannins. It’s hard to go wrong here. Drinking 2024 to 2034. - Vinous 91
Winemaker Description
Nose of toasty oak, strawberry jam, mixed berry pie, black tea and baking spice. Layered black and blue fruit on the palate with milk chocolate, cherry, garrigue and textured tannins on the finish.
Blend: 65% Zinfandel, 26% Petite Sirah, 5% Syrah, 4% Alicante Bouschet

James Suckling writes: Aromas rich in savory, woodsy and spicy notes lead to vibrant black cherries, grilled plums, mushrooms, star anise and a touch of black pepper. Distinctive for a broad Willamette Valley bottling, this is lively and medium-bodied. Drink now or hold. - James Suckling 93
Erin Brooks writes: The 2022 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley is bursting with aromas of pomegranate, lavender, forest floor and herbal hints. The palate is open and inviting, offering concentrated, spicy flavors. It’s structured by silky tannins and mouthwatering acidity and has a long, nuanced finish. - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 93
Eric Guido writes: A pretty blend of steeped plums and violet flowers introduces the 2022 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley. This is cool-toned and classic in feel, with ripe red and blue fruits that flow across textures of pure silk, leaving a tinge of sweet spice toward the close. An air of lavender lingers along with ripe blackberries and hints of sage as the 2022 tapers off with stunning length and gentle tannins. This is a wonderfully harmonious effort that will reward cellaring. Drinking 2026 to 2034. - Vinous 92+
Audrey Frick writes: Ruby red-hued, the 2022 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley has a very appealing nose with notes of ripe cherries, wild herbs, sassafras, and fresh flowers. Approachable and medium-bodied, it offers ripe, defined tannins, stemmy spice on the palate, and ripe acidity. It’s a charming wine with a stemmy texture to drink over the next 4-5 years. Drinking 2024 to 2029. - Jeb Dunnuck 90

Domaine Gilbert Picq Chablis en Vaudecorse 2023 750ml
Winemaker Description
Soft and mineral Chardonnay, from a small two acre vineyard planted in 1980. Fresh on the nose, with notes of baked bread, citrus and white orchard flowers, fuller on the palate with hints of yellow fruit, grapefruit and white flowers with a pronounced minerality on the longer finish.
Expert Notes
Neal Martin writes: The 2023 Chablis Vaudécorse is much more expressive than the Vauclaire at the moment, a mixture of white and yellow fruit with a touch of flintiness underneath. The palate is quite attacking on the entry, tensile and focused. It gradually builds toward a cohesive and satisfying finish. This has similar potential to the excellent 2022. Drinking 2025 to 2036. - Vinous 91-93
