Tamlyn Currin writes: I read somewhere recently that 'juicy' is the most-used word in wine tasting notes, so I'm just going to add to that statistic. Juicy, juicy, juicy. The tannins are juicy. The acidity is juicy. But the great thing is that for all that juiciness, this is not a speciously fruity wine. Cherries and redcurrants, sure. But smudged with menthol and nutmeg and red-road dust and bracken. Red-fruit slip on a kick-the-autumn-leaves hanger. Way, way, way too dangerously gluggable. Just don't take 'juicy' as a code word for simple. Drinking 2024 to 2028. - Jancis Robinson 16.5
James Suckling writes: A bright and juicy pinot with cherries, cranberries, citrus fruit, hibiscus and spices. Medium-bodied, fresh and crunchy on the palate with delicious fruit and a zesty undertone at the end. Chalk and minerals in the finish. Drink now. - James Suckling 92
Eric Guido writes: The 2022 Pinot Noir Tavola lifts from the glass with a sweet and sour blend of tart cherries, raspberries, spiced orange and rosemary. It is juicy and light on its feet and swirls across the palate with ripe wildberry fruits and chalky mineral tones. The 2022 is soft and giving while finishing with medium length and a tart cranberry crunch. - Vinous
91 Points Wine Spectator: Plush and generous, with succulent cherry and raspberry flavors highlighted by orange peel and cinnamon notes. Finishes with snappy tannins. Drink now through 2031. 14,698 cases made.
91 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: The 2022 Pinot Noir Tavola is scented of blackberry jam and blood orange, plus nuances of pipe tobacco and rooibos tea. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with layers of ripe fruit, spice and earth. It’s structured by silky tannins and bright acidity and has a long, refreshing finish.
Winemaker Notes
Spiced blueberries, plum, and cranberry leap from the glass, followed by denser notes of dry forest floor, sagebrush, and leather. The mouth holds fresh acidity with flavors of ponderosa pine, citrus, and raspberry. This brightness is in lively tension with darker flavors of Amarena cherry and rich earth.

Erin Brooks writes: The 2021 Pinot Noir Tavola, a blend of fruit from several vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley, has a pale ruby-purple color and aromas of cranberries, red cherries, orange peel, licorice and baking spice. The light-bodied palate is soft and juicy with crunchy red fruit, generous streaks of allspice and a long, spicy finish. This is easy to drink! - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 92
Audrey Frick writes: The 2021 Pinot Noir Tavola comes from fruit sourced from lower elevation sites and younger vines that are picked a little earlier, meant to be an expression of the entire valley. It’s a ripe but transparent ruby hue and offers up perfumed aromas of red raspberry, fresh herbs and flowers, and dusty earth. Medium-bodied, with good freshness, it has fine tannins and energy throughout, as well as a clean finish. It offers a great value and is perfect for relative early drinking over the next couple of years. - Jeb Dunnuck 90
