Honoro Vera Calatayud Garnacha Vegan 2023 750ml

Color of intense dark cherry with a violet edge. Intense nose, dominated by ripe red fruits, raspberry, currant, together with balsamic and mineral notes.
Powerful in the mouth, full-bodied, pleasantly tannic and fruity with a light spice on the finish. A beautiful crowd-pleaser.
Memo Summary Notes
Hails from the high-altitude, slate-heavy soils of Calatayud. While the Monastrell is known for being dark and "meaty," this Garnacha is celebrated for its high-toned fruit and floral elegance.
True to the Gil Family style, this wine remains certified organic and vegan, offering extreme value for an "old-vine" red.
Honoro Vera Monastrell Organic Jumilla 2023 750ml
Honoro Vera Monastrell Organic — Jumilla, Spain 2023
Honoro Vera is produced by the Gil Family — the same family behind the celebrated Juan Gil Silver Label — and has become one of the most talked-about organic red wines in the world. Crafted from certified-organic Monastrell (Mourvèdre) grown in the sun-baked limestone soils of Jumilla, one of Spain’s most exciting appellations, this is the wine that proved you don’t need to spend a fortune to drink something genuinely great. Its fame reached new heights when it was served at the Oscars Governor’s Ball — a remarkable achievement for a wine at this price point. The 2023 vintage is particularly bright and snappy, making it dangerously easy to drink.
The color is deep and inky. The nose is expressive and generous: dark plum, blackberry, spice, herbs, and a hint of chocolate. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with smooth tannins, balanced acidity, and robust flavors of dark fruit that linger on a satisfying finish. Approachable yet genuinely complex — the ultimate Tuesday night bottle that drinks like it costs twice as much.
67 Wine — “Honoro Vera is the organic powerhouse that earned its place at the Oscars. Dark, expressive, and dangerously drinkable — one of the best values in Spanish red wine.”

House of Brown is a second-generation wine label under the BROWN Napa Valley umbrella, which also includes Chaos Theory and is anchored by flagship Brown Estate.
The Brown family have been in Napa since 1980. Siblings Deneen, Coral, and David began making wine in 1996. Raised by two medical professionals in a “Blue-Zone” household in Southern California, they all pitched in at their parents’ medical clinic. There, they adopted what would become a guiding principle in their wine business: Do no harm.
The creation of House of Brown was inspired by an extraordinary community of wine consumers who for over two decades had been finding themselves at home with Brown Estate, and in 2017 began assembling at the family’s then newly opened Brown Downtown Napa tasting room. This period marked an evolution in wine consumer demographics, with the industry at large seeing an influx of young and culturally diverse enthusiasts coming to the fore — dynamics that have been manifest at Brown for decades.

Hugel Classic Riesling 2024 750ml
Hugel Classic Riesling — Alsace, France 2024
Famille Hugel is one of Alsace's most storied and respected wine dynasties — founded in Riquewihr in 1639 and now in its fourteenth generation of family ownership, making it one of the oldest continuously operating wine estates in the world. From their base in the medieval village of Riquewihr at the heart of the Alsace wine route, the Hugel family has been a defining force in establishing Alsace Riesling as one of the world's great white wine styles: dry, mineral, precise, and built for the table. The Classic Riesling is the family's signature expression — sourced from around half estate-grown fruit from Riquewihr, supplemented by select villages to the north and south, and crafted to showcase the finesse, frankness, and electric minerality that define Hugel's house style. It is their most demanding variety, as Riesling is also the latest ripening — expressing itself best on the steepest slopes with the most complex minerality.
The nose is unusually expressive for a Classic: a kiss of crushed fennel seed rises above pear and lemon — aromatic, precise, and inviting. On the palate, it is super slender and vividly bright, almost sylph-like, with exquisite lemony charm and lemon pithiness. Electric, vivid, and bone-dry, with a lip-smacking finish that is a tonic on any occasion. Wonderful balance and elegance — the ideal partner to fish and seafood.
Vinous 89 — "The palate is super slender and vividly bright, almost sylph-like but with exquisite lemony charm and lemon pithiness. This is an electric, vivid little Riesling; the finish is bone-dry and lip-smacking and should be a tonic on a hot day." (Vintage 2024).
- Producer: Famille Hugel, Riquewihr, Alsace, France (est. 1639)
- Vintage: 2024
- Appellation: Alsace AOC
- Varietal: 100% Riesling
- Style: Bone-dry
- Size: 750ml

- Drink: Now through 2030
- Best Paired With: Grilled fish, oysters, sushi, scallops, lobster, Alsatian choucroute, soft cheeses, asparagus
Fourteen generations of Alsace Riesling mastery — Hugel Classic 2024 is electric, bone-dry, and one of France's most reliably brilliant white wine values.
Hugel Gentil Alsace 2024 750ml
Hugel Gentil — Alsace, France 2024
Hugel is one of Alsace's most storied and respected family estates, based in Riquewihr and producing wine since 1639 — nearly four centuries of unbroken winemaking in one of France's most distinctive wine regions. Gentil is their signature multi-varietal blend and one of the great value wines of Alsace: a kaleidoscope of grapiness produced exclusively from hand-harvested grapes grown in predominantly clay and limestone vineyards across a dozen of the most favored localities in and around Riquewihr. The 2024 is a blend of 30% Riesling, 20% Gewurztraminer, 15% Pinot Gris, 15% Pinot Blanc, 15% Sylvaner, and 5% Muscat — each variety contributing its own character to the whole.
The 2024 pours a pale, luminous gold. The nose is aromatic and inviting — citrus is the keynote, with a subtle overtone of rose and the gentle grapiness that only Muscat can bring. On the palate, it's slender and almost delicate, with lemon setting the tone and a live-wire acidity that makes it shine. Bone-dry, superbly refreshing, and straight as an arrow — the Riesling's finesse, the Gewurztraminer's spice, the Pinot Gris's body, and the Muscat's aromatic lift all in perfect balance.

Stunning golden hue with fine, persistent bubbles. Aromas of green apple, citrus zest, and floral notes with mineral undertones. Crisp acidity balances flavors of toasted brioche and ripe stone fruit, leading to a clean, refreshing finish.

Husch Vineyards Pinot Noir Anderson Valley 2022 750ml
Husch Vineyards · Pinot Noir · Anderson Valley · Mendocino County, California · 2022 · 750ml
Husch Vineyards holds a special place in California wine history: founded in 1971, it was the first winery established in the Anderson Valley, a remote, fog-laced appellation in Mendocino County that has since become one of the state’s most celebrated addresses for Pinot Noir. The valley’s cool, maritime climate — shaped by Pacific fog that rolls in through the Navarro River corridor — produces Pinot Noir that sits at a compelling stylistic crossroads: darker and earthier than Russian River or Sonoma Coast, yet more structured and spice-driven than Willamette Valley Oregon. Husch has been farming this land for over fifty years, and the estate Pinot Noir remains the benchmark expression of what makes Anderson Valley special.
Lively ruby in the glass with an inviting, complex nose of raspberry compote, strawberry jam, dried florals, dried herbs, and a savory note of portobello mushroom. On the palate: baked red plum, pomegranate, and orange zest, interwoven with vanilla bean, earth, and mineral, carried by smooth tannins and lifted acidity that brings focus and length to a dry, supple finish. Wine Enthusiast awarded 92 points, calling it “a legacy family in the Anderson Valley still going strong.” Drink now through 2029. Pair with coq au vin, mushroom ravioli, roasted duck, grilled salmon, or creamy cheeses.

Expert Reviews
Wine Enthusiast — 92 Points
“This lively wine offers aromas of raspberry compote, strawberry jam, florals, dried herbs and portobello mushroom on the nose. The flavors on the palate are baked red plum, pomegranate and orange zest, interwoven with vanilla bean, earth, mineral and a dry, supple finish. From a legacy family in the Anderson Valley still going strong.”
Bart Hopkins — 67Wine.com
“The beautiful Anderson Valley of Mendocino County is home to some of California’s best Pinot Noir. I look at it as a stylistic bridge between Russian River–Sonoma Coast and the Willamette Valley of Oregon. The fruit leans more to the darker spectrum with earthy complexity and a spicy character. Aromas of cherry and strawberry mingle with shades of violet, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Well balanced and harmonious with smooth tannins and lifted acidity that brings focus to the fruit on the long flavorful finish.”
Hyde de Villaine Hyde Vineyard Carneros Chardonnay 2022 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2022
James Suckling 97 Points | A superb and rich chardonnay with driven phenolics that frame the wine, giving it form and intensity. It’s full-bodied but not heavy. Dried apples, nuts, peach pie and hints of salted butter and honey. It’s flavorful and intense. Real Napa chardonnay. 70% Wente clone and the rest Calera. So drinkable now, but will age very well.
Winemaker Description
Delicate aromas of Bartlett pear and fresh-sliced pineapple are lifted by notes of jasmine and citrus zest, maturing into subtle warming tones of baking spices, brioche, and vanilla custard. On the palate, the flavors are intensely focused, yet the pleasant round body fills the mouth with a wide, elegant mid-palate. The salinity and minerality of this wine bring a refinement that is gently carried by bright, integrated acidity.
IASA - Filetto di Branzino grigliato, grilled Sea Bass in Olive Oil (Italy, 5.11 oz net wt.)
IASA Filetto di Branzino Grigliato — Grilled Sea Bass in Olive Oil, Campania, Italy (5.11 oz)
IASA is one of Campania’s most celebrated artisan producers, best known for their exceptional Italian anchovy products — and their Filetto di Branzino Grigliato brings that same philosophy of quality and tradition to Mediterranean sea bass. Branzino — long prized across Europe and a cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet — is celebrated for its pristine white fillets and delicate, slightly sweet flavor. IASA sources sustainably farmed branzino from the waters off the coast of Campania, cleans and gently grills each fillet by hand, then packs them in tins with mild olive oil — a recipe that is a direct homage to the tradition of fishermen grilling fresh-caught branzino and drenching the fillets in olive oil straight from the fire. The result won the 2018 Specialty Food Association sofi™ Award for Best New Product — one of the food industry’s most prestigious honors.
The fillets are tender and delicate with a subtle smokiness from the grilling, a clean, slightly sweet sea bass flavor, and a richness from the olive oil that ties everything together. Serve straight from the tin over crostini, flaked into pasta, alongside a simple green salad, or as the centerpiece of an antipasto spread. It is the kind of pantry staple that elevates every occasion.

The Immich Batterieberg Enkircher Ellergrub Riesling brings sweet and tart pleasure into the glass. Enchanting herbal bouquet Its bright straw-yellow dress suits the Immich Batterieberg Enkircher Ellergrub Riesling admirably. Spicy flint and dried herbs inspire in the bouquet. Here the Riesling flatters the nose in a clear and light way. Ripe plate peach, a hint of citrus zest and apple blossom find their way into the aromatic spectacle.
The Immich Batterieberg Enkircher Ellergrub Riesling on the palate The mineral-fruity nose of the Immich Batterieberg Enkircher Ellergrub Riesling is followed by a full-bodied and crystal-clear pleasure on the palate. The dried garden herbs and the spicy slate combine on the tongue with apple compote and juicy peach wedges. Balsamic accents and a sinewy body give the wine a lot of elegance, even in the long finish. The fruit of the Immich Batterieberg Enkircher Ellergrub Riesling is pleasantly restrained and leaves plenty of room for spicy and mineral notes.
For this reason, the Riesling is ideal as an accompaniment for the exclusive kitchen on special occasions. Baked veal cheeks on risotto, steamed zander and grilled trout welcome him with joy at their side. Gernot Kollmann creates a fine Riesling from a steep site.
For the Immich Batterieberg Enkircher Ellergrub Riesling, the winemaker chooses particularly long-grown vines with deep roots. The plants have been growing on the blue slate soil for more than eighty years. The Ellergrub site is known for exceptionally elegant wine.
The Immich Batterieberg Enkircher Ellergrub Riesling does not disappoint either. Gernot Kollmann ferments the wine with great patience and calm. Under his hands, the Riesling unfolds its natural potential and absorbs the terroir around the steep slate slope. Great enjoyment from a great location.

The wine is bright and lively and the lime-and-grapefruit mid palate has both zip and a little roundness. A little grassy in a way that makes it the most perfect wine for baby broad bean, pea, edamame or asparagus dishes. Textbook. (TC)

Indaba Sauvignon Blanc South Africa 2024 750ml
Indaba Sauvignon Blanc — Western Cape, South Africa 2024
Indaba — the Zulu and Xhosa word for a gathering of minds — was built on the belief that exceptional South African wine should be within everyone's reach. Sourced from family farmers working decomposed granite, calcareous clay, and ancient shale soils along the Western Cape's sunshine coast, Indaba Sauvignon Blanc is a consistently over-delivering value wine that has earned "Best Value" and "Best Buy" accolades year after year. Sustainably farmed, stainless steel fermented, and aged three months on lees for added texture.
The 2024 pours pale yellow with green reflections. The nose is vibrant and immediately inviting — guava, passion fruit, pineapple, lemon-lime, and green fig with a lift of citrus blossom. On the palate, it's fresh and zesty with racy acidity and a clean, mineral-tinged finish that lingers. Stylistically approachable and food-friendly, this is a crowd-pleaser in the best possible sense.
"Enticing citrus and tropical fruit aromas lead to fresh, zesty flavors of pineapple, lemon-lime, mango and green fig, supported by a spine of racy acidity. The mineral-tinged finish happily lingers." — Indaba Winemaker
