Sarpa, the bridge between the past and the future. This Grappa was conceived in 1983, but it took a few years to see the light of day. The goal was clear in my mind: a Grappa to encase the aromas of Tradition, but without the typical flaws of old fashion Grappas, often stingy, aggressive and oily. It had to be an authentic Grappa, sincere and genuine, what one would now call a classic Grappa.

Moreover, it was meant to be a bridge between the Grappa of the past and the Grappa of the future, representing the present of Grappa with its best typical features. It took some time to figure out which vines to use and after various trials I turned to the timeless Bordeaux blend, that mix of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that gave rise to the best wines in the world, the Bordeaux wines.

These vines have successfully been grown in the Veneto region for a long time and it seemed just natural to use them to try to produce a symbolic Grappa, the Grappa that should have embodied years of experience and passion. 

Sarpa di Poli has a robust, almost rustic character, with pleasantly grassy scents that remind of freshly cut grass, an aroma of wine and red flowers like geranium, rose and violet that make it a timeless classic.

Pierde Almas brings you rare, 100% artisan-made Mezcals, crafted using methods that have remained unchanged since the end of 16th Century. We still bake our Agave hearts for up to ten days in earthen ovens. We still mill them under a great stone wheel drawn by horses. Fermentation – even in these impatient times – is slow, careful and chemical-free. Distillation takes place in a wood-fired, serpentine copper alembic whose design hasn’t changed appreciably since when the Moors occupied the Spanish Peninsula.

Pierde Almas La Puritita Verda is made from agave Espadin, which takes 8 to 10 years to mature. This Mezcal is crafted in San Juan del Rio by maestro mezcalero Rodolfo Hernandez. It has a savory smoke flavor with earthy undertones. It could be sipped neat, but is most commonly used as a mixer for cocktails.

With their Wild Agave Reforestation Program, they are actively engaged in the re-forestation of wild species of Agave in those areas where their populations have been depleted. Pierde Almas begins each rainy season by inviting bartenders, chefs, restauranteurs, and journalists to join them for their annual wild Tobalá planting. Due to the artisinal nature of their mezcal, the ABV of each lot may vary slightly.

Only in the desert can you truly understand refreshment. So, our plucky Hendrick’s Master Distiller Ms. Lesley Gracie travelled to just such a place for inspiration (yes, she really did!). After a game of camel polo she saw the most welcome sight – the vivid colours of the oasis! This is no mirage!

Captivated by this lush paradise and the party of spectacular beasts in attendance, Gracie had an idea. By combining the aromatic herbs and bright fruits of a desert oasis she could create a new expression of Hendrick’s like no other. From the Oasis came forth Oasium (pronounced oh-ace-e-yum).

Silky verdant green notes sing in delicious harmony with fresh aromatic herbs and a wonderfully fresh citrus finish. The classic juniper character of Hendrick’s Gin reaches new heights with a romantic entwinement of lush green aromas, deep delicate herbal tones, and a small touch of invigorating citrus. JC Jenkins arrived in Petersburg, Kentucky, in 1833 from Virginia looking for opportunity in America’s new west. What he found a few steps from the banks of the Ohio River was the intoxicating taste of prosperity.
JC Jenkins who resided in his bucolic “Prospect Farm” hilltop home was influential to the growing town of Petersburg as a community leader, business visionary, and an active member of the Underground Railroad. We bottle this to honor our history and the hard-working Petersburg locals.

We honor their industry and determination with each bottle of our Small Batch Straight Rye Whiskey, aged a minimum of 5 years.

Tenjaku Gin combines a distillation composed of more than 10 refreshing botanicals with a distinct Japanese essence: fresh, seasonal peaches from the Yamanashi region, sansho pepper, with a unique zest not found in Western spices, yuzu, with its aroma evocative of Japan, and green tea, with its appealing astringent and herbal aroma. Together, these flavors create a botanical gin with one-of-a-kind, authentic taste.

A craft gin that truly captures the aromas of Japan. Featuring yuzu, sansho pepper, peach, green tea and other unique botanicals that linger in the mouth. Crystal-clear spring water, refined through the bountiful four seasons, ties these ingredients together in a perfect combination.

The recipe for Mathilde Orange XO dates back 200 years. Sweet orange peels are first macerated in a grape spirit and then distilled. A refined and aged brandy is added to the orange peel distillate and the spirit is then aged before bottling.

The result is a liqueur with a refined nose, with an intense orange aroma and a hint of vanilla. The flavor is powerful, the aromatics are potent and the body is rich. The spirit gives remarkable length on the finish and an overall voluptuous, round taste.

With a mahogany colour and orange highlights, Yzaguirre Classic Red Vermouth has an intense aroma with herby and spicy notes. Mild balsamic touches give it a pleasant and very unique structure. It has a good aromatic intensity in the mouth which balances out the acidity very well. Long, intense and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Yzaguirre Vermouth is a fortified wine aged for 12 months in oak barrels. It is made following the traditional method of producing old houses born in the foothills of the Italian Alps. Its unique formula combines about 80 herbs and spices to give it that special touch.

Ming River is the original Sichuan baijiu. Using traditional methods passed down from master to apprentice for over twenty generations, Ming River is an authentic and uncompromising Chinese grain spirit.

The journey to Ming River baijiu begins in the heart of Sichuan at China’s oldest operating distillery, Luzhou Laojiao.  Each batch of baijiu is fermented in earthen pits with locally harvested yeast cultures for two months before it is distilled in a traditional Chinese pot still.  The spirit then ages for up to two years before our master blender balances the baijiu to achieve Ming River’s exceptional flavor.

Baijiu pronounced bye-j’yo, meaning “white spirits” in Mandarin—is a category that encompasses all traditional Chinese grain spirits. Baijiu is most commonly distilled from sorghum, but is also often made from rice, wheat, corn and millet. Baijiu production techniques differ significantly by region and style, and different styles of baijiu can be as distinct as whiskey is to tequila.

Much lighter than most other red vermouths, Bordiga Rosso works beautifully as a sipper or when you don't want to overpower a lighter spirit in a cocktail.

Our Pear Brandy is made in the tradition of France’s classic Eau de Vie de Poire Williams. Bartlett pears grown just an hour away in the Hood River Valley are crushed at their absolute peak of ripeness. This whole fruit mash is carefully fermented, and the spirit is distilled in our German-made pot stills. It takes 20 pounds of pears to make one 750ml bottle of Pear Brandy. The pear nose is intense, the taste is strong, but pure, and the aftertaste is clean with a surprisingly strong taste of pear. It is lovely served chilled.

Hayman’s Old Tom Gin is a rich and rounded style of gin that was the gin of choice in the 19th Century, made to the family’s original recipe as then produced.

Relative to London Dry Gin, the Old Tom style imparts a more complex and flavorful taste experience, with a slight sweetness that pleasantly rounds out the botanical base.

From the 10 Hayman’s botanicals, the Old Tom Gin emphasizes juniper and two types of cinnamon. Old Tom gin is the key ingredient in classic cocktails such as the Martinez, Tom Collins and Ramos Gin Fizz. Its depth and rich profile make for an ideal Aviation or French 75.

This fine aged brandy is produced from the unique wines of Israel. It is distilled to concentrate its flavor, then aged for three years in the finest oak casks where the brandy develops its golden amber color.
