Chateau La Vaisinerie Puisseguin Saint-Emilion 2019 750ml
Château La Vaisinerie — Puisseguin Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux 2019
Puisseguin Saint-Émilion is one of Bordeaux's four Saint-Émilion satellites — appellations that share the Saint-Émilion name and its clay-limestone terroir, but offer wines of genuine character at a fraction of the price of their more famous neighbor. Château La Vaisinerie is a standout estate in the appellation, producing a Merlot-dominant blend (90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc) that earned four separate critic endorsements in the 2019 vintage — one of Bordeaux's finest of the last decade. The result is a wine of real refinement and balance that consistently punches above its price point.
The 2019 pours a deep ruby. The nose is expressive and layered — blue fruits, blackberry, black cherry, candied violets, sweet tobacco, crushed stones, and floral notes with a mineral undertow. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, pure, and impeccably balanced: supple tannins, fine acidity, a pretty core of fruit, and a sensual, velvety-smooth finish. Already drinking beautifully with a carafe; will continue to develop through 2029.
"Blue fruits and cola cubes on the nose. Linear and direct, powerful but restrained, with a core of dark, juicy fruits and a mineral undertow giving freshness and a velvety-smooth texture to the tannins. One I want another glass of." — Georgina Hindle, Decanter, 90 Points

Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Rose 2025 750ml
Our Professional Review
Rand Sieger, 67 Wine Buyer: Always one of the first rosés to hit the market, this traditional Southern Rhône blend comes from 25–50 year old vines grown along the Gassac River. It boasts a pleasant, intense nose with hints of strawberries — full and round on the palate with bright red fruit flavors.
Few winemakers have come to define their region like Mas de Daumas Gassac has with the Languedoc. Aimé and Véronique Guibert purchased the land in the early 1970s, guided by a Bordeaux-based soil scientist who recognized the limestone-rich terroir's great grape-growing potential — as densely mineral-laden as Burgundy's Côte d'Or.
What sets Mas de Daumas Gassac apart is their unflinching commitment to pushing boundaries — of the appellation's rules, of conventional farming techniques, and of "expected" grape varieties. Having traveled the world as part of a family leather business, the Guiberts planted an eclectic assortment of international grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Petite Arvine, Tempranillo, Nebbiolo, and more.
Tasting Notes
The 2025 Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Rosé is one of the most anticipated value rosés of the year — effortlessly chic and tasting far more expensive than its price tag suggests.
Pairings: Tabbouleh, grilled chicken, niçoise salad, or spicy appetizers like shrimp ceviche.
Handwerk Grüner Veltliner Kamptal Weingartenselektion Organic 2024 1.0L
Handwerk Grüner Veltliner Weingartenselektion — Kamptal, Austria 2024
Handwerk — German for "craftsmanship" — is produced by Reinhard Waldschütz in the Kamptal, one of Austria's most celebrated wine regions and the heartland of Grüner Veltliner. Clos des Lunes Lune d’Argent — Bordeaux Blanc 2023
Clos des Lunes is one of Bordeaux’s most compelling white wine stories — an estate in the heart of the Sauternes appellation that has dedicated itself entirely to producing world-class dry white wine from legendary sweet wine terroir. Lune d’Argent (“Silver Moon”) is the estate’s flagship cuvée, blending the density and richness of Sémillon with the refinement and precision of Sauvignon Blanc, aged with a touch of French oak to add complexity without obscuring the magic of the terroir.
The 2023 vintage was harvested in multiple passes from August 28 through September 21, allowing optimal ripeness across the blend. Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc Te Muna Road Vineyard 2025 750ml
Craggy Range | Sauvignon Blanc | Te Muna Road Vineyard | Martinborough | 2025
Most New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc comes from Marlborough — high-acid, pungent, and immediately recognizable. Te Muna Road is something different. Craggy Range’s single-vineyard site sits in Martinborough, on the southern tip of the North Island, where a cooler, more continental climate and river-stone soils produce a Sauvignon Blanc of genuine texture and mineral complexity. The 2025 opens with white flowers, blossom, freshly cut peach, and passionfruit — aromatic and expressive without being aggressive. On the palate, key lime, preserved lemon, and kiwifruit are bright and precise, threaded through with a saline minerality that the river stones of Te Muna Road impart in a way no winemaking technique can replicate. Fresh, elegant, and textural, with a mouthwatering frame and a long, clean finish. This is the Sauvignon Blanc for people who think they don’t like Sauvignon Blanc.
- Appellation: Martinborough, New Zealand
- Vineyard: Te Muna Road Vineyard (single vineyard)
- Varietal: Sauvignon Blanc
- Vintage: 2025
- Format: 750ml
- Style: Mineral-driven, textural, elegant
- Drink Window: Now – 2028
Critical Acclaim — Vintage 2025
Wine Spectator | 93 Points: Intense key lime, lemongrass and pear flavors are fleshy, bright and precise, showing details of tangerine, kiwifruit and grapefruit, with sleek notes of saline and green tea, plus a hint of white pepper on a mouthwatering frame.

Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2024 750ml
Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc — Marlborough 2024
Dog Point Vineyard is the project of two Cloudy Bay veterans, Ivan Sutherland and James Healy, who set out to make a Sauvignon Blanc that transcends the region's exuberant mainstream. Hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed, and fermented with indigenous yeasts, Dog Point's approach is one of restraint and terroir transparency. The result is a wine of genuine character: savory, textural, and built to age — a world apart from the wham-bam Marlborough style. The 2024 vintage is among the finest expressions of the estate.
The color is pale straw with a luminous clarity. The nose is pure and captivating: grapefruit, white peach, key lime, crushed sea shells, and a whisper of smoke and gravelly minerality that adds complexity beyond the immediate fruit. On the palate, juicy white-fleshed fruit pours across with refreshing, defined acidity — crisp, focused, and finishing clean and dry with a lightly grippy, saline texture. Drinks beautifully now or can comfortably be cellared for five years or more.

Hugel Gentil Alsace 2024 750ml
Hugel Gentil — Alsace, France 2024
Hugel is one of Alsace's most storied and respected family estates, based in Riquewihr and producing wine since 1639 — nearly four centuries of unbroken winemaking in one of France's most distinctive wine regions. Gentil is their signature multi-varietal blend and one of the great value wines of Alsace: a kaleidoscope of grapiness produced exclusively from hand-harvested grapes grown in predominantly clay and limestone vineyards across a dozen of the most favored localities in and around Riquewihr. The 2024 is a blend of 30% Riesling, 20% Gewurztraminer, 15% Pinot Gris, 15% Pinot Blanc, 15% Sylvaner, and 5% Muscat — each variety contributing its own character to the whole.
The 2024 pours a pale, luminous gold. The nose is aromatic and inviting — citrus is the keynote, with a subtle overtone of rose and the gentle grapiness that only Muscat can bring. On the palate, it's slender and almost delicate, with lemon setting the tone and a live-wire acidity that makes it shine. Bone-dry, superbly refreshing, and straight as an arrow — the Riesling's finesse, the Gewurztraminer's spice, the Pinot Gris's body, and the Muscat's aromatic lift all in perfect balance.

Castello di Volpaia Chianti Classico Organic 2022 750ml
About Castello di Volpaia
Volpaia is one of the most stunning estates in Italy, located in a fortified medieval village in Radda in Chianti. Because the vineyards are among the highest in the Chianti Classico zone — up to 600 meters — the wines have a cool-climate elegance that sets them apart from the heavier, more muscular Chiantis found in the valleys.
Winemaker Description
The Chianti Classico has a vivid ruby color and a strong nose of fresh red fruit with hints of cherry. A well-structured wine with a fruity finish. The vintage began with a warm winter with little rain. May and June were cold with heavy rains that caused several problems with downy mildew throughout Italy. In July temperatures rose significantly, and the hot, dry summer was followed by late August rains that allowed the grapes to complete ripening beautifully.
Expert Reviews

Each vineyard is chosen for its ability to express the best of its respective terroir, then carefully blended to achieve balance, complexity, and richness of flavor. The 2023 is aged six months in French oak barrels, adding structure and depth that is seldom seen in a Pinot Noir at this price point.
The color is a luminous, deep ruby with violet hues. The nose is lush and immediately appealing: fresh strawberry, blackberry, and boysenberry, layered with toasted mocha and vanilla from the oak aging. On the palate, it is silky and medium-to-full-bodied — juicy red and dark fruit, a touch of toasty oak, and a smooth, lingering finish that is quintessentially coastal California Pinot Noir. Bolder and richer than a traditional Burgundian Pinot, this is the crowd-pleasing, jammy style that has made Meiomi one of the most recognized Pinot Noirs in the country.

Feudo Montoni Sicilia Grillo della Timpa 2023 750ml
Feudo Montoni | Grillo della Timpa | Sicilia DOC | 2023
The Sireci family has been farming this land since 1469 — over five centuries of continuity in the highlands of central Sicily. Their "Timpa" cru is not a vineyard for the faint-hearted: a 70% slope so steep that virtually every operation, from pruning to harvest, must be done by hand. The Grillo vines planted here produce something genuinely singular. At altitude, cool nights preserve acidity and aromatic precision that the Sicilian lowlands simply cannot replicate. The 2023 vintage brought lower-than-average rainfall concentrated in late spring, a dry early summer offset by cool nights, and steady August rains through a harvest that ran from mid-September to late October — conditions that yielded slightly lower quantities than 2022 but exceptional quality. In the glass: pale straw with green edges, a nose that sparkles with lemon, lime, herbs, stone fruit, and a delicate floral sweetness, and a palate that is dense, mineral-driven, and hard to put down.
- Appellation: Sicilia DOC, Italy
- Varietal: Grillo
- Cru: della Timpa (70% slope, hand-harvested)
- Vintage: 2023
- Format: 750ml
- Producer: Feudo Montoni — Sireci family, est. 1469
- Drink Window: Now – 2027
Critical Acclaim — Vintage 2023
Wine Enthusiast — Danielle Callegari | 92 Points: The nose sparkles with fresh yet savory aromas of lemons, limes, herbs and a nutty cheesiness, but also has a delicate, balancing floral sweetness. The palate is dense, as stone fruit joins more citrus and floral notes, before salted nuts usher in a tangy, mineral finish.
Falstaff | 91 Points: Pale straw yellow with light green edges. Grain fruits, thyme and some eucalyptus on the nose. Apricot aroma on the palate, white currant, harmonious with good drinkability.
Wine Spectator | 90 Points: A bright, tangy white, offering a fragrant range of orange and lime blossoms, blood orange and pink grapefruit zest, and poached quince and apricot. Lightly lip-smacking and hard to stop sipping, with a snappy, mineral-driven finish. Drink now through 2027.
Vinous — Eric Guido | 90 Points: Airy and sweetly scented, wafting up with hints of mint leaf, green melon and confectionery spice. Smooths over the palate with fleshy textures and citrus-tinged white pit fruits as a tropical air of inner florals forms toward the close. Finishes with admirable length and freshness. Drink 2024–2027.
Pairing Suggestions
- Seafood: Calamari, grilled white fish, or pasta con le sarde.
- Savory: Arancini, fresh goat cheese, or herb-roasted chicken.
- Unexpected: An excellent pizza white.

The color is intense, dark ruby red. The nose offers notes of black fruit, strawberries, flowers, and aromatic herbs — inviting and expressive. On the palate, it is dry and full-bodied with a velvety texture and delicious flavors of blackberry, plum, and strawberry, framed by savory spice and aromatic herbs. Medium to full-bodied with supple tannins that provide lift and structure — a natural match for the table.
