Aroa is a small winery in the Deierri Valley, in Navarra, which has recently been part of the Vintae group. They are specialists in producing organic wines of the highest quality.

Pale, straw colour. A superb balance of ripe fruit, delicate acidity and elegant notes of wood aging. Full and fruity on the palate this wine has a glorious lingering finish and an attractive, refreshing crispness.In most countries, Ports is traditionally enjoyed at the end of the meal. 

The exception is white Port, especially the drier style which makes an excellent aperitif. It is a blend of classic white Port grape varieties, predominantly Malvasia Fina with smaller proportions of Gouveio, Viosinho, Rabigato and  Arinto, grown on the cooler, higher vineyards of the Douro Valley.

We embraced the structure up front when making this wine because we wanted a strong phenolic profile to bind with and stabilize the tannin. Baking spices (clove and cinnamon) with a kiss of oak.

Producer Description 

The brand was named Toyo Bijin, or “Asian Beauty,” by Sumikawa Brewing Company’s founder in honor of his late wife.

This particular brew gives an aroma red apple that fades to an almost nutmeg spice. It is a very dry sake, said to be “strong enough to kill a devil.” Be prepared for this but also enjoy its decent umami retained from the Yamadanishiki rice used in its brewing.

Perdera is a blend of Monica, Carignano, and Bovale Sardo aged in neutral barrels and cement vats to preserve Monica’s varietal characteristics. The wine shows red fruit aromas and flavors of cherries and plums with floral notes and spices. Perdera is juicy with bright acidity and low tannins.

An ideal red wine to pair with dark fish such as grilled tuna or salmon with a garnish of herbs or swordfish stewed with tomatoes and saffron. Served chilled, Monica will deliciously elevate an outdoor meal of porchetta.

The show begins with outdoorsy aromas of Asian pear, honeysuckle and fresh-cut grass. The flavors are just as pleasing, with lemon curd uniting with notes of ginger, thyme and a touch of green tea.

Sea Sun is a California Chardonnay whose character speaks to the state's unique coastal regions. Our diverse vineyard sites span several hundred miles, and even subtle differences in temperature and the strength of the wind leave their mark on the grapes. The result is a wine of broad appeal, a perfect balance of lush and crisp — featuring scents of lemon zest and flavors of peaches and apricots.

Led by winemaker Charlie Wagner, Sea Sun focuses on sourcing grapes from California’s "premier coastal regions" where the cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean (the "Sea") balances the heat (the "Sun"). The 2020 Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon has a dull cherry red colour with purple shimmers. The nose unfolds notes of strawberries, ripe black cherries, cassis, accompanied by cloves, marzipan and some mint, tarragon and rosemary notes, all framed by pleasant touches of caramel and chocolate.

The palate is predominated by ripe red fruits and sweet notes that recall spices like cloves and some vanilla, chocolate, roasted coffee and cedar. It is a wine of great structure and juiciness with round tannins, crowned by an excellent persistence.

With the name Bàrbara Forés, the marriage of Carmen Ferrer and Manuel Sanmartín wanted to pay tribute to their great-grandmother Bárbara Forés, who was born in Gandesa on February 7, 1828. Bárbara Forés, the daughter of a wine merchant (Rafael Forés) and an agricultural owner (Maria Figueras), was a person of great character and had a decisive influence on her son Rafael.

Rafael Ferrer Forés, a pharmacist and illustrious winegrower, constructed the cellar of the manor house where he began bottling wine at the end of the 19th century. Bárbara Forés, therefore, represents respect and tradition in the production of wines, passed down from generation to generation for more than a hundred years in their house.

Bodegas Portia is Grupo Faustino’s most recent winery project and is the 7th winery in the group. Located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, the Portia winery is a display of modern design, winemaking function and artistic detail. The brand offers very small production wines - intense, energetic & balanced. 

Harvesting at night allows the grapes to maintain all of their organoleptic qualities, as well as a balance between alcohol content and acidity. Once in the winery, the grapes are cold-macerated for a few hours before being pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature to maintain all the characteristics of the best Verdejo white wine.

Winemaking and aging | The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 25 and 28 °C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in new and used barrels for 12 to 16 months.

Tasting note | Red wine of intense colour. Powerful ripe fruit aroma, notes of mineral and oak barrel. In the mouth, it presents friendly and tempting, with smooth, well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish.

The Wine Enthusiast 90 Points | A fine, beautifully crafted wine with ripe tannins and jammy red fruits. With its red berry aroma and its juicy acidity, it is developing well. Drink from 2026.

Ruby red in color. This wine displays aromas of ripe red fruit and dried herbs. It is soft and robust with complex tannins. On the palate, the wine is spicy with a long finish.

This hand-crafted wine is a blend of native Alentejo grapes Trincadeira and Aragonez plus a touch of Syrah for added body. The fruit is sourced from 1,000 ft high schist and limestone vineyards surrounding the J Portugal Ramos Vila Santa winery. Unoaked, it is fresh and fruity while maintaining a plush mouthfeel.

Pair with sausage and peppers, herb-roasted lamb, or beef stew.
