Mic Drop Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey L22-01 Ardea Herodias 7 yr 750ml
Producer Description
MIC.DROP. L22-01 Mic Drop started as a side project enabling PM Spirits to have access to American whiskey for our New York market – at the time, we had none to sell. The first few releases happened to be MGP for no particular reason others than the fact that out of all the casks we tasted, we felt these stood out most and met the criteria for the type of releases we wanted to make happen. After the third release, we started to wonder what Mic Drop should actually stand for. We decided to use it as a brand that would shine a spotlight on distillers and barrels that we felt were particularly good.
Our fourth release was a rye whiskey produced by Wilderness Trail, simply because to us, they may very well be the best player in that category at the moment. In the middle of 2021, we stumbled upon something very, very different when a friend suggested we taste two specific barrels. They contained bourbon that was double distilled in Louisville, Kentucky on a Vendome copper pot still with a mashbill of 60% corn, 17% wheat, 13% oats, and 10% barley. They aged in Kentucky in two 60 gallon, new American oak barrels with a #2 char for a little over seven years. Total yield was 55.1 gallons – slightly over 54% evaporation.
This bottling was obtained by dumping together the only two casks of bourbon ever made with this mashbill at this distillery. It was double distilled on a copper pot still and aged for over seven years in Louisville, Kentucky. It has been bottled at a cask strength of 58% abv, without chill filtration or added color. We can't tell you who made it. 100% of the profits from this bottling will go towards organizations advocating for gun safety in every town in America. Producer Description.

Michter's Barrel Strength Rye 750ml
Butterscotch and cinnamon with a hint of cherries on the nose; warming, rich, toasty vanilla and caramel up front with a dry oaky spice on the finish.
The May 2015 inaugural release of Michter's US1 Barrel Strength Rye marked yet another milestone in that quest. For maturation, the Rye distillate is entered into the barrel at 103 proof, rather than a more industry standard higher proof. Barrel entry at a lower proof of 103 rather than a higher proof costs Michter's more money in terms of barrels and warehousing, but they believe it yields a richer, smoother, more full-bodied whiskey after proper maturation. A single barrel product, each barrel of Michter's US1 Barrel Strength Rye is bottled at its particular alcohol level at the time of bottling. The majority of barrels in the releases range from 107 to 112 proof. To savor it is a unique experience for anyone who enjoys rye whiskey.
Expert Reviews
Tasting Panel | Bottled at barrel strength (108 proof), this Kentucky straight rye exudes Michter’s always complex aromas—full of orange peel, burnt sugar, choco- late leather—with an extra stirring of the senses i ncluding cherrywood and peach. On the tongue, the alcohol sets a tone, then dissipates, leaving a warmth of peppered cherries, orange zest, toffee nibs and cocoa.
PointsWine Enthusiast | This limited-release rye offers a rich aroma of vanilla and caramel. Bottled at barrel strength, it's initially drying and hot on the palate. Complex and echoing with rounded vanilla and allspice, it stands up to plenty of dilution, and finishes on a hint of almond.

Michter's U.S. 1 RYE Whiskey Straight Single Barrel 750ml
Producer Description
Renowned for Rye, America's first whiskey, since our founding in 1753, we take production of every barrel of Michter's Rye very seriously.
Our US*1 Rye is made from select American rye grain that is sheared to enable the saturation of more flavor during fermentation. It is then aged in a heated warehouse. This premium rye has hints of light spice, black pepper, marmalade and plum, spicy grain and light caramel.
Michter's U.S. 1 UNBLENDED AMERICAN Whiskey 750ml
Producer Description
While Bourbon must legally be matured in new, charred American oak, Michter’s Unblended American Whiskey is a little bit different. Aged in used, whiskey-soaked barrels – and therefore not legally a Bourbon – this whiskey has a a more spirit-forward flavour profile rich in caramel popcorn, butterscotch and dried fruits, with a cinnamon and nutmeg spice.
Unlike Bourbon or Rye, which, by definition, must be aged in new oak barrels, our US1 Unblended American Whiskey is aged in a way that utilizes whiskey-soaked barrels to achieve a rich and unique flavor profile. In late 2013, then Master Distiller Willie Pratt agreed to re-release our US1 Unblended American Whiskey after a nearly three-year absence from the market, deeming it “just right” and “the best it’s ever been.” Crucially, our US1 Unblended American Whiskey never contains grain neutral spirits – hence its “unblended” distinction. Michter's US 1 Toasted Barrel Finish Rye 108 Proof 750ml
Producer Description
The team at Michter's conducts their distilling by the tried and true Kentucky practices, while experimenting for the purpose of making the greatest American whiskeys. The Michter's team conducted years of research on different barrel finishes for their rye whiskey, and have proudly produced the Michter's US-1 Limited Release Toasted Barrel Finish Rye Whiskey.
To produce this Toasted Barrel Strength Rye Whiskey, they took their US-1 Kentucky Straight Rye at barrel strength and aged it longer in a second custom barrel. The second barrel is assembled from 24 month air dried wood, and toasted to Michter's specification.
The deep reddish brown color leads to scents of spicy rye and cooking brown sugar. The initial flavors of rye and dark brown sugar gives way to the subtle hints of oak and dark baking spices. There is a silky finish that ends with more rye and orange peels. Producer Notes.

Nelson bros straight rye whiskey 92.5 Proof 750ml
Producer Description
Nelson Brothers Straight Rye Whiskey is bottled at 92.5 proof. This American whiskey features tasting notes of nutmeg, dried apricot, mint, leather, cinnamon, and cedar.
Seeking an American dream and a fresh start in Nashville, Charles Nelson opened a grocery store that flourished from his three best-selling products: coffee, meat, and whiskey. This eventually led to his focusing only on his whiskey business, the demand for which was far exceeding the supply. He bought the distillery that was making his whiskey in Greenbrier, TN, and a patent for improved distillation. Throughout this success, he began to make a name for Tennessee whiskey and a household name for himself, as well. Belle Meade Bourbon was one of about 30 different labels that Charles Nelson produced in the late 1800's. Unlike most of his other products, it was produced in conjunction with a third party, Nashville's Sperry Wade & Company, who had contracted Nelson's Green Brier Distillery to sell bourbon, rye, corn, and Tennessee whiskies bearing the Belle Meade brand.
Belle Meade Bourbon was the toast of the town when it hit the market in 1878 and became known as a great value and top-quality product. Long after prohibition's end, Charlie and Andy Nelson dedicated their lives to bringing back the family business and resurrecting the once-great Nelson's Green Brier Distillery. This was no small feat for two recent college grads who spent years being told "no" by potential investors, but that didn't stop the tenacious Nelsons.

New Riff Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight RYE whiskey Sour Mash 100 Proof 750ml
Whisky Advocate | New Riff’s first whiskey releases were all bottled in bond from the start—a bold move for a brand new distillery. This rye proves it was the right decision. Complex and compelling, it shows maturity while retaining liveliness and verve. Grassy and herbal on the nose, it also has orange, cedar, sassafras, rose petals, and syrupy blackberries. The medium-weight palate balances clove, cedar oil, orange, berries, bubble gum, and cinnamon, which melt into an herbaceous, nutty, chocolate-rich finish.

Old Fitzgeral Bottled-in-Bond 17 Years Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Spring 2022 750ml
Producer Description
Each spring and fall, a new edition to the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond series is released. Inspired by an original 1950's Old Fitzgerald diamond decanter, the packaging and series honor both the history of the Old Fitzgerald brand and the historic Bottled-in-Bond designation. The Old Fitzgerald line is well-known for its distilling pedigree, as the brand was first registered in 1884 and was eventually sold to "Pappy" Van Winkle during Prohibition. In 1999, Heaven Hill bought the brand and began distilling it at Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, KY. Today, in addition to our Old Fitzgerald Decanter Series.
For this edition, barrels were pulled from across three floors of rickhouse V at Heaven Hill Distillery’s main campus in Bardstown, Kentucky. The Bourbon was put into barrels in the fall of 2004 and bottled in the spring of 2022, making this the first 17-year-old bottle in the Old Fitzgerald series.

Old Forester Bourbon 1920 Prohibition Style 750ml
Producer Description
The Volstead Act of 1920 which initiated Prohibition in the USA granted permits to six distillers in Kentucky to continue to bottle bourbon for medicinal purposes. Through one of these permits, Old Forester continued to be produced as medicinal whiskey on Louisville’s famed Whiskey Row. It is the only bourbon continuously sold by the same company that has been available for sale before, during and after Prohibition.
During this time, all whiskies had to be bottled at 100 Proof. With a barrel entry proof of 100, the “angel’s share” would have created a 115 proof whiskey after maturation. To pay homage to this era, Old Forester presents 1920 Prohibition Style Bourbon at 115 proof to represent the rich flavor profile this bourbon had nearly 100 years ago.
An intense medley of cherry preserves, drippy caramel, dark chocolate, thickened maple syrup and seasoned oak spiciness.

Old Overholt Straight Rye Whiskey Aged 4 Years 86 Proof 1.0L LITER
Producer Description
A relic you can drink, Old Overholt is a straight rye whiskey with a distinctive flavor and appeal that, after Prohibition, made it the most popular spirit in the country. With a rich taste on the palate, Old Overholt offers a tinge of sweetness.
Renowned for its outstanding mixability in classic cocktails like the Sazerac and 'Old Style' Manhattan, the one and only Old Overholt is 80 proof and aged 3 years. Abraham Overholt (1784 - 1870) was one of the fathers of American distilling and he took uncompromising pride in this product.
When it came to making his whiskey, Abraham Overholt lived by three hard and fast standards: work hard, stand fast, and don't waver. These three standards were the basis upon which he built Old Overholt, and they continue to be followed to this day.

Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co Foragers keep 26 yrs Single Malt 750ml
Producer Description
Forager’s Keep 26 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the latest release from the Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Co. It is the fourteenth release and the first single malt Scotch whisky to appear in the collection.
Perhaps the shortest lived of all Speyside distilleries, Pittyvaich—Gaelic for ‘farmstead at the birch wood’— was the innocent victim of industry restructuring. The distillery closed in 1993 through no fault of its whisky and has long since been demolished. Its pleasing single malt has never been widely available, though it has been proven to age well as none younger than 25 years of age remains.
Most closed distilleries have produced for decades, even centuries before their closure. Pittyvaich lived for a mere 18 years, making it one of the most rarely seen single malts of all. This rare, limited release Forager’s Keep 26 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky has lived longer than the distillery from which it came. It is the first of its kind for the Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co.
