Cantina Kurtatsch Alto Adige Pinot Grigio DOC 2024 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2024
James Suckling
90/100 points
Pinot Grigio is one of the most cultivated grape varieties in Alto Adige and finds ideal conditions in Kurtatsch. Our Pinot Grigio Selection consists only of grapes from selected hillsides and steep slopes.
The large temperature differences between day and night in these vineyards is the magic that lends the wine its distinctive aroma of white pears, fresh flowers and citrus fruits. In the mouth, the wine is juicy and round. The creamy texture is complemented by fresh, animating acidity. This is mainly thanks to the higher-elevation Pinot grigio vines. An expressive wine with a mineral, salty finish.
Feudo Montoni Sicilia Grillo della Timpa 2024 750ml
Feudo Montoni · Sicilia DOC · Grillo della Timpa · 2024
The Sireci family has farmed Feudo Montoni since 1469, cultivating a deep connection to the highlands of central Sicily. Their Timpa cru sits on a dramatic 70% slope, where vineyard work and harvest are carried out by hand. Organic farming, altitude, and cool nights help preserve the acidity and aromatic precision of this distinctive Grillo.
Pale straw with green edges, the 2024 opens with green melon, kiwi, lemon, lime, herbs, gingery spice, mint, and a delicate mineral lift. The palate is juicy and layered, balancing ripe stone fruit and a lightly sweet inner texture with tart orchard fruit, citrus, zesty acidity, and a long, savory finish.

Wine Enthusiast: 93 points
“Apricots and white peaches define the nose, while undertones of melon, honey, and raw almonds add nuance. Ripe stone fruits and juicy melons tumble over the palate, while more of that slightly bitter, savory, nutty element provides an anchor on a finish of buoyant acid and citrus.”Vinous: 91 points
“The 2024 Grillo Timpa is wildly fresh, with an invigorating bouquet that mixes green melon and kiwi with gingery spice and mint. Juicy in style, it impresses further with a pleasant inner sweetness contrasted by tart orchard fruit and a nuance of lime. The 2024 finishes full of zesty tension that calls the taster back to the glass for more.”Wine Spectator: 90 points
“Sleek and refreshing, with a lightly chalky feel to the mix of green melon, tangerine, lime peel and Thai basil flavors through the snappy, spiced finish.”

Elena Walch · Pinot Grigio · Alto Adige DOC · Trentino-Alto Adige · Italy · 2025
Elena Walch is one of Alto Adige’s most celebrated estates — and one of Italy’s most prominent woman winemakers and owners. Her Pinot Grigio is a benchmark for the Alto Adige style: not the flat, neutral Pinot Grigio of the Veneto plains, but a wine of genuine mineral tension, aromatic precision, and the kind of crisp, structured character that the Alpine climate of the Dolomites uniquely produces. Grown at altitude in the cool, sun-drenched vineyards of Alto Adige, the 2025 is a wine with real backbone — and exceptional value at this price.
The 2025 captivates with a light straw yellow color. The nose opens with ripe pear, white pepper, and a touch of sage, with an appealing creamy texture carrying notes of peach skin and blood orange peel. On the palate, mineral-salty richness and crisp acidity are the hallmarks — elegant, focused, and refreshing from first sip to finish.
“The creamy texture and tangy acidity harmoniously blended with the refreshing green apple and pear flavors. There was also a subtle hint of stony minerality that added an unexpected layer of complexity. Antinori BIANCO Villa Antinori Toscana IGT 2024 750ml
One of Tuscany's most iconic white blends — fresh, mineral, and unchanged since 1931.
Villa Antinori Bianco is not a new idea. Niccolò Antinori first produced it in 1931, and the label has barely changed since. That kind of consistency is rare in wine, and it speaks to something important: this is a wine that has always known exactly what it wants to be. Bright, food-friendly, and unmistakably Tuscan.
The 2024 vintage brings together Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, and Riesling — a classic Tuscan white blend that balances aromatic lift with crisp acidity. The nose opens with orange blossom, pineapple, golden apple, and citrus zest. On the palate it's fresh and pleasantly tense, with a mouth-filling texture and a clean mineral finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.
Sealed with a screwcap for freshness and convenience — pop it open straight from the fridge and pour freely. This is the white wine for long lunches, seafood dinners, and warm evenings on the terrace.

Benanti Etna BIANCO 2025 750ml
Few wine regions on earth are as singular as Mount Etna. Perched on an active volcano on Sicily's northeastern flank, the vineyards here grow in ancient lava soils at elevations that would be extreme anywhere else in Italy. Benanti is the family that put Etna on the modern wine map — pioneers who recognized the potential of indigenous varieties like Carricante long before the rest of the world caught on. Their Etna Bianco is 100% Carricante, the white grape native to the volcano's eastern slopes, and it is a pure, unfiltered expression of place: bone-dry, lean, and electric, with a stony minerality and saline edge that no other terroir can replicate. Grapefruit, tart orchard fruit, and a whisper of white flowers on the nose; crisp, driving acidity on the palate; and a long, clean finish that lingers with volcanic energy. Serve well chilled and let the mountain do the talking.
- Appellation: Etna Bianco DOC, Sicily, Italy
- Varietal: 100% Carricante
- Vintage: 2024
- Format: 750ml

Elvio Cogno Anas-Cetta Nascetta Piedmont Organic 2025 750ml
Elvio Cogno | Anas-Cëtta | Langhe Nascetta del Comune di Novello DOC | Piedmont, Italy | 2025 | Organic
Elvio Cogno is one of the Langhe's most respected and forward-thinking estates, based in Novello in the heart of the Barolo zone. Founded by the legendary Elvio Cogno and now led by his son-in-law Walter Fissore and daughter Nadia, the estate is celebrated for its commitment to indigenous Piedmontese grape varieties and its pioneering role in the revival of Nascetta — an ancient white grape that had nearly disappeared from the region entirely.
Nascetta is a rare, indigenous white variety native to the commune of Novello, where it has been cultivated for centuries. Nearly extinct by the late 20th century, Elvio Cogno was instrumental in its revival, and today the grape has its own dedicated DOC — Langhe Nascetta del Comune di Novello — a testament to the variety's unique character and the estate's advocacy. The Anas-Cëtta — the name is a playful phonetic rendering of "Nascetta" in Piedmontese dialect — is the benchmark expression of this extraordinary grape, farmed organically and vinified with minimal intervention to let the terroir speak.
The 2025 offers a vibrant, distinctive nose of yellow fruit, jasmine, citrus, ginger, and thyme, with complex notes of white flowers and mineral precision. On the palate, fresh and precise with a lovely waxy viscosity, rich texture, and a long, saline finish that balances energy and elegance. A structured, expressive white that reflects the unique Novello terroir and the variety's genuine aging potential.
Pair with white truffle dishes, risotto, grilled fish, seafood pasta, soft cheeses, and herb-driven cuisine.

Nicosia Monte Gorna Etna Bianco 2023 750ml
Warehouse stored item - please allow one to three business days to fulfill.
The Nicosia “Cru” wines of Etna come from the Monte Gorna estate, located in the Trecastagni area, very close to the wine cellar. A red and a white wine, made with organic grapes, that authentically represent the great expression that this terroir and its native vines can offer.
These DOC wines are the demonstration that on the volcano each slope, each area, each vineyard can produce wines with different characteristics, giving unique and unrepeatable sensations. The composition of the eruptive materials gave life to composite soils, often made up small sized pumice stones, known as "ripiddu", found mostly on extinguished volcanic cones such as Monte Gorna; thier elevated drainage capacity and their wealth of potassium paly an important role in balancing the grape's maturation process.
Even the climate distinguishes the Etna area respect to the rest of Sicily. The average temperatures on the mountains are lower and the climate also changes depending on the slope and the alyitude.
From a winemaking standpoint, the wine diurnal temperature range is fundamental, as it gives the wines their goog freshness and elegant aromas.
Carricante is an indigenous white grape cultivated exclusively on Etna and its name refers to the plant considerable productivity. In fact, the name Carricante refres to a "plant full of fruits".
Vietti Moscato d'Asti Cascinetta Piedmonte 2025 750ml
Vietti | Cascinetta | Moscato d'Asti DOCG | Piedmont, Italy | 2025
Vietti is one of Piedmont's most celebrated and historic estates, based in Castiglione Falletto in the heart of the Langhe and renowned above all for their benchmark Barolo and Barbaresco. Yet the Cascinetta Moscato d'Asti is a wine that stands entirely on its own merits — sourced from estate vineyards in Santo Stefano Belbo in the Canelli zone, the most prized area for Moscato Bianco in all of Piedmont, and consistently one of the finest expressions of the DOCG. Delicate, aromatic and irresistibly charming, it is the perfect introduction to the joys of great Italian Moscato.
Moscato d'Asti is a lightly sparkling (frizzante), low-alcohol style — typically around 5.5% ABV — that captures the pure, fragrant character of Moscato Bianco with a gentle effervescence and a natural sweetness that never feels heavy or cloying. The Cascinetta is a benchmark of the style: precise, fresh and beautifully balanced, with the kind of aromatic intensity and delicacy that only the finest Canelli-zone fruit can deliver.
The 2025 pours bright straw-yellow with shimmering hints of gold and a fine, persistent perlage. The nose is intensely aromatic — ripe peach, apricot, rose petals, acacia flowers and a whisper of ginger. The palate is sweet and delicate, with modest acidity, excellent balance and a lingering finish of fresh apricot and white flowers. Serve well chilled at 43–46°F and enjoy young while its freshness and aromatics are at their peak.

Cantine San Marzano Salento Edda Lei Bianco 2023 750ml
Chardonnay, Moscatel, Fiano | Salento, Puglia / Italy
Vintage: 2023 | Size: 750ml
90+ Rated
Cantine San Marzano is one of Puglia’s most celebrated cooperative estates, farming the sun-drenched heel of Italy’s boot with a commitment to quality that has earned them an international following. “Edda Lei” — named for a woman, as the best things often are — is their flagship white blend: a luxurious, opulent expression of Southern Italian viticulture that draws comparisons to fine white Burgundy, but with the exotic, sun-drenched aromatics that only Salento can deliver.
The 2023 vintage is a blend of Chardonnay, Moscatel, and Fiano, each variety contributing its own dimension. Tropical and yellow fruit lead the nose — pineapple, lychee, and melon — with delicate seashell and floral notes woven throughout. On the palate, it is fresh and gently saline, medium- to full-bodied, with a richness that feels Mediterranean in the best possible sense. A wine with genuine cult appeal and the structure to match.
“Lovely tropical and yellow fruit on the nose, such as pineapple, lychees and melon, as well as seashells and flowers. It’s fresh and gently saline with a medium to full body.”
— James Suckling, 91 Points. (Vintage 2023).
Pairs with: Sea bass in butter sauce, lobster, scallops, veal, or herb-roasted chicken.
Eduardo Torres Acosta IGT Terre Siciliane Bianco "Versante Est” 2024 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2024
Vinous 93 Points | The first of the two white wines, the 2024 Versante Nord is a blend of varieties sourced from six different vineyards at varying altitudes from the north side of the valley, which receives more sunlight during the day. This wine offers a wealth of power, with notes of salted pineapples, fresh sage, smoky earth, and saline. It’s bright with acidity, salinity, and a light wild side, though very well-managed. It had been bottled just three weeks earlier, so this tasting was a preview prior to its release. Drink over the coming 8-10 years.
Winemaker Description
This wine offers a strikingly pure expression of Mt. Etna’s eastern slopes. Grown on volcanic soils at high elevation, this white blend is taut, mineral, and refreshingly saline, with notes of citrus zest, herbs, and crushed rock. A brilliant new bottling from one of Etna’s most exciting voices—available now on pre-sale in limited quantities.
Eric Guido also last year assigned 91 Points to this plot- and said as follows of the 2023 vintage - Crushed rocks, dried flowers, raw almonds and freshly sliced nectarines form a savory bouquet as the 2023 Carricante Versante Est opens in the glass. Nearly salty in character, it washes across the palate with ease, showing tart orchard fruits and hints of lemony custard. The 2023 finishes with medium length, leaving a pleasant chamomile air to linger.
