Expert Review - Vintage 2023
Eric Guido writes of Vinous 90 Points | The 2023 Anthìlia is remarkably pretty, blending white flowers, freshly sliced pears and hints of wet stone. This is silky-smooth with nearly oily textures, offset by a twang of sour citrus and crunchy orchard fruit. The finish is perfumed and crisply refreshing, wrapping things up with a lime and mineral tinge that calls the taster back to the glass. Drinking 2024 to 2026.
Wine Enthusiast 90 Points | The nose has energetic, sunny aromas of lemon, lime, white peaches, orange blossoms and crushed rock, while the palate stays warm, citrus and saline but with the fresh bite of Mediterranean herbs. You will (and should) feel virtuous with the ultrasustainable packaging, but beyond that, the light bottle and twist top make it an ideal companion for a day at the beach, where Sicilian whites shine. Winemaker Description
Anthìlia 2023 has a yellow straw color. The nose offers a fresh and fragrant bouquet with notes of white pulp fruit combined with hints of wildflowers. In the mouth, we find the evident fruity note, refreshed by a pleasant savoriness. The finish has good persistence.
Perfect with various appetizers, with crudities and fried fish, and vegetable casseroles; also try it with fresh cheese and white meats.
