Habla de Ti 2022 is an enchanting white wine, captivating with its vivacity and lightness. On the nose, it unfurls a spectrum of scents reminiscent of crisp green asparagus and sweet mango, complemented by an herbaceous hint of tomato leaf. Upon tasting, its exuberant nature is affirmed with flavors of tropical fruits that pirouette across the palate, leaving a lasting and exceedingly delightful impression. Mevushal. 90 Points James Suckling | Ripe dark berries with hints of dried herbs, tea leaves, black olives and licorice. Full-bodied, plush and opulent with a sweetish, succulent dark fruit character. Deep and lengthy.

Winemaker Description

This intensely inky-colored Cabernet Sauvignon wine is grown in the well-drained, stony and iron-rich soils of the Weir Family Vineyard along the Silverado Trail, one mile south of the famed Stags' Leap appellation and ten yards from the Oak Knoll District, the Valley's newest sub-appellation.

The rich, spicy nose of bakers' chocolate and black cherry complements the brooding and spice-filled black licorice, black cherry, plum and cranberry on the palate. The addition of 10% Cabernet Franc enhances the complexity of the wine, as well as adding to our trademark robust and silky mid-palate. Aged for 19 months in small French and American oak barrels, Hagafen Cabernet Sauvignon will flourish with bottle age.

Mevushal. The Chardonnay grapes for this wine were grown in the fog-cooled Napa Valley in order to produce a wine rich in flavor and varietal character, complemented by aging in small oak barrels.

Don Ernesto has done it again. Our newest vintage of Chardonnay is Mary Poppins. Why Mary Poppins you ask. Well, it is “practically perfect in every way”! From the beautiful soft golden hue, to the rich round mouth, to the long finish, this Chardonnay is what you need to “help the medicine go down in the most delightful way”.

Starting with the nose, we find beautiful soft vanilla, ripe Asian pear and crisp Galia and Honeydew melon. Continuing onto the palate we discover lush star fruit and rich lemon curd. With its lingering finish our Chardonnay will make you want to “go fly a kite”!"

Hahn SLH Chardonnay greets the nose with citrus, stone fruit and hints of banana and vanilla. A viscous mouthfeel with welcoming acidity that showcases stone fruits, citrus and hints of apple and spices.

Our Pinot Noir grapes were primarily grown in the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County, which sits on a gravelly alluvial plain beneath the Santa Lucia Mountains. Cool winds from Monterey Bay ensure gradual ripening and development of vibrant flavors. The rocky soils allow excellent drainage, enhancing intensity and promoting balanced ripeness and acidity.

Vibrant aromas of red and dark cherry, raspberry and plum with subtle touches of vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, silky tannins and excellent acid balance are joined by delicate flavors of red cherry and raspberry, culminating with notes of earthiness on a long and lingering finish.

91 Points Wine Enthusiast | Fruit of the forest compote notes shine with subtle vanilla on the inviting nose. The palate adds cinnamon spice to these notions and comes in with both concentration and slenderness. Bright freshness gives focus and makes for a mouthwatering finish. An elegant but still fruit-driven Zweigelt.

Like other sake in the Hakurakusei line, this sake is brewed to be supremely food friendly. With an aroma that whispers of banana and a zippy, citrus-like acidity, this junmai ginjo can bolster savory cuisine or walk hand-in-hand with sweeter foods such as Japanese “nimono” dishes.

 It’s produced using a little known rice variety, Miyagi prefecture’s Kura no Hana sake rice, that’s been milled to 55%. Serve chilled.

David of 67Wine.com |  If you read my review of Beckman Sauvignon Blanc, this wine while the same grape and also from California is a world apart.  Hall is in effect opposite of Beckman.  This wine shows beautiful balance, where its mineral front and a level of softness on the palate is remarkable.  Hall is a great dinner wine where you get the best of both worlds, excellent wine that will not overwhelm your cuisine.

The 2022 vintage of Hall Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is refreshing and vibrant with effusive aromas of citrus zest, honeysuckle and lemon grass. The bright, lively acidity on the palate is balanced with flinty minerality and mid-palate richness driven by sur-lie aging.

Joe Czerwiński writes:  The winery's largest bottling, approximately 38,000 cases, is the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley. Primarily from the Hardester Ranch in Pope Valley, with other major contributions from St. Helena, Soda Canyon and Glass Mountain, it's a medium to full-bodied effort, with bold flavors of cherries, cassis and cedar. It's easy, but not soft, nicely firm, with a long, silky-textured finish.  Drinking 2022 to 2030.  - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 90

Haridimos Hatzidakis was a charismatic creator. He was a creator and not just a winemaker because his wines were works of art that generated feelings and made even better memories. Hatzidakis made wines of minor interventions, with indigenous yeasts and from ungrafted vines long before it became a trend! The gap he left, as well as his legacy, is huge. All family members joined forces to continue his work, bottling their love in Santorini Familia Hatzidakis Winery.

Selected 15 - 80-year-old vines of Assyrtiko in Pyrgos give their super-concentrated, precious Prod. The harvest is done manually and the wine fermented with indigenous yeasts, in stainless steel tanks. It matured for 6 months and then it was bottled unfiltered.

This Kentucky Bourbon pays tribute to the earliest days of the Distillery's history when in 1939 it released Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond. The namesake brand quickly became the number-one-selling Bourbon whiskey in the state of Kentucky. Still today, the craftsmanship poured into this bottle by the same founding family meets the exacting standards first set forth in the Bottled-in-Bond act of 1897.

Golden amber in color with warm notes of vanilla, honey, and a rich caramel sweetness on the nose. Smooth, warm and sweet with a subtle rye spice note; caramel and honey mingle with just enough oak and char to round out the richness. Long and lingering on the finish.

While the bottled in bond designation isn’t necessarily a quality guarantee, this whiskey more than proves its merit. It’s explosive, bold, and buttery, with warm flavors of honey-roasted peanuts, caramel, chocolate, corn muffins, licorice, and cinnamon, all accented by notes of savory herbs, cloves, white pepper, tobacco, and an earthy undertone. Well-integrated big oak, sweetness, and spice combine to create grace, power, and length. This is pure bourbon bliss, at a very approachable price.

Heaven Hill launched the first release in its new Heaven Hill Heritage Collection which will feature one of the distillery’s six unique mashbills for release. The inaugural whiskey is a barrel-proof bourbon bottled at 118.2 proof and made using the distillery’s core bourbon mash bill of 78 percent corn, 10 percent rye, and 12 percent malted barley. The label says the whiskey is 17 years old, but that’s indicative of the youngest whiskey in the bottle, which also includes 19 and 20-year-old bourbon (the exact breakdown: 28 percent 20-year-old barrels, 44 percent 19-year-old barrels, 28 percent 17-year-old barrels).

Nose is complex yet not overwhelming. A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.

Tasting Notes: This rosé exudes a brilliant sunset pink hue. On the nose, it presents an enticing aromatic bouquet of fresh red berries such as wild strawberries, raspberries, and red currants, with a hint of citrus elements like lime peel in the background.
