Woodford Reserve Bourbon Master Collection Madeira Finish 700ml
Producer Description
Elizabeth McCall, master distiller, commented: “Madeira Cask Finish is a tremendous way to celebrate 20 years of the Master’s Collection. In 2007, Woodford Reserve was among the first bourbons to finish in wine casks. It was quite controversial at the time, but is now a common practice by other distillers. This 20th expression marks that historic milestone, with a new Madeira wine cask.” Released October 2024.
- Nose: A complex and inviting aroma, featuring a delicate balance of dark fruit, caramel, and hints of oak, enriched by the subtle sweetness of Madeira wine.
- Palate: The palate is greeted with a rich tapestry of flavors, including ripe berries, toffee, and vanilla, seamlessly intertwined with the distinctive nutty and fruity notes imparted by the Madeira casks.
- Finish: A long, smooth finish that elegantly combines the warmth of bourbon with the exotic nuances of Madeira, leaving a lasting impression of sophistication and depth.
Key Features:
- Madeira Cask Finishing: This bourbon undergoes a unique finishing process in Madeira wine casks, infusing the spirit with a distinct flavor profile that sets it apart from traditional bourbons.
- 90.4 Proof (45.2% ABV): Crafted to deliver a robust yet balanced taste, this proof level ensures that each sip is rich in flavor and complexity.
- Master's Collection Exclusive: Part of the Woodford Reserve Master's Collection, this release represents the pinnacle of the distillery's experimental and limited-edition offerings.
- Rare Tasting Experience: Ideal for savoring neat or with a splash of water, this bourbon is a must-try for enthusiasts and collectors seeking to explore the innovative boundaries of bourbon aging and flavor.
Discover the exquisite Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Madeira Casks Blend, where the traditional craft of bourbon meets the legacy of Madeira wine. Each bottle is a testament to the adventurous spirit of Woodford Reserve, offering a sip of luxury that transcends continents and traditions. Whether as an addition to a discerning collection or as a gift for a sophisticated spirit lover, this Madeira Casks Blend is a celebration of the art of whiskey making at its most innovative. Embrace the chance to experience a truly unique bourbon, and let it inspire a journey of taste that is both rich and endlessly captivating.
In the 1830’s our Woodford County distillery was the setting for a series of discoveries and innovative practices that today define the bourbon industry. For this 2021 Master’s Collection release Master Distiller Chris Morris and Assistant Master Distiller, Elizabeth McCall have drawn upon that rich history and their own interests for inspiration.
In Kentucky, a fermented grain mash is traditionally called “distiller’s beer”. Distillation converts this “beer” into a spirit that will become a “Whiskey” once barreled.
This Master’s Collection is our take on crafting a spirit that exhibits the flavors of a classic beer style, in this case a rich, roasted malty stout.
“Our distillery building was constructed by Irish stonemasons in 1838. That, plus the fact that we distill in the “Irish” style with triple pot stills inspired us to mash and distill an Irish style stout beer.” – Elizabeth McCall
The result is the Fall 2021 Master’s Collection release named Five-Malt Stouted Mash, a rich and darkly robust expression of Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey.

Winemaker Description
Dark ruby in the glass, this wine has a nose of black cherry, cranberry and aniseed. It is very soft on impact, with flavors of raspberry, cassis, milk chocolate and licorice. Satiny tannins hold off on the palate at first, make their presence known and then slip away in time for a bright finish.
Yalumba Eden Valley Samuel's Collection Viognier 2022
Expert Review - Vintage 2022
The Australian Wine Companion 91 Points | Yalumba continues to grace us with a range of wines made from viognier, from entry-level to aspirational, that convey a deep understanding of both the variety and site. Pale straw with green flashes and aromas of lemon, grapefruit and apricot along with hints of lemon sorbet, wildflowers, a liminal whiff of white pepper and stone. Flecks of dried herbs join in on the palate, which is stony and savoury, lingering nicely as it fades away. A great introduction to the variety.
James Suckling 91 Points | A fresh, juicy and precise viognier with aroma of peaches, apricots and fresh flowers. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity. Vivid and playful, with a refreshing finish.
Producer Description
With 175 years of unbroken independence, Yalumba continues to make wine at its founder's home estate under the direction of the same family today. Samuel's Collection honors Yalumba's founder Samuel Smith, his spirit of independence and conviction to invest in the land and make great wine.
Pure aromas reminiscent of fresh apricots, lifted ginger, saffron and fresh white flowers. The palate is long, rich, and luscious, with intense and expressive stone fruit flavors finishing with an alluring freshness. This wine will continue to grow and develop in the bottle, firstly showing enhanced apricots and spice, then honey flavors and toast complexity.
Enjoy with a Moroccan tagine and couscous, or baba ghanoush.

Yann Alexandre Blanches Terres Rose 1er Cru Brut (2018 Base) ) (Introductory Price)
This refined Premier Cru grower Champagne is composed of Chardonnay from the lieu-dit Les Blanches Terres in Coulommes-la-Montagne and Pinot Noir from the lieu-dit Saint Lié in Villedommange. The blend highlights the freshness, precision and mineral character of Chardonnay, complemented by a small proportion of Pinot Noir red wine that contributes delicate color, fruit and structure.
Chardonnay accounts for 94% of the final blend. It is primarily fermented in stainless steel and allowed to undergo full malolactic conversion. Fifteen percent of the Chardonnay is vinified in oak without malolactic fermentation, adding subtle texture and complexity while helping preserve freshness and tension.
The wine is aged for approximately four months in stainless steel and blended with 60% reserve wine before the addition of 6% Pinot Noir red wine. It then spends a minimum of 48 months en tirage before disgorgement, developing greater depth, a refined texture and fine, persistent bubbles.
The Les Blanches Terres vineyard is characterized by calcareous, silty and calcareous-clay soils scattered with white stones. These mineral-rich soils contribute to the wine’s freshness, structure and distinctive sense of place. Yann and Séverine Alexandre farm their vineyards with careful attention to soil health, biodiversity and precise vineyard work. The estate is certified sustainable by OCACIA.
Elegant and gastronomic, this Chardonnay-driven rosé Champagne offers a graceful balance of freshness, texture and delicate red-fruit character. Its fine mousse, mineral energy and measured Brut dosage make it an excellent aperitif as well as a versatile companion at the table.
Pair with smoked salmon, tuna tartare, shellfish, sushi, roast poultry, charcuterie, creamy cheeses and delicately spiced dishes.

Yann Alexandre Champagne Brut Noir (2020 base) 750ml (Introductory Price)
Yann Alexandre Brut Noir Champagne (2020 Base)
Yann and Séverine Alexandre farm their vineyards in the Petite Montagne de Reims with a single goal: to produce Champagne as naturally as possible from healthy, fully mature grapes. Certified sustainable by OCACIA, their parcels grow on calcareous-clay soils with stones, flint, and sand — a varied geology that contributes freshness, mineral tension, and complexity. Each variety is vinified separately to preserve its individual character before the final blend is assembled: Pinot Meunier for generous fruit and suppleness, Pinot Noir for structure and depth, Chardonnay for brightness and energy. After approximately five years on lees in the Alexandre family’s cool cellar, riddled and disgorged by hand, the Brut Noir emerges with a fine, persistent mousse, subtle brioche and toast, and a long, chalky finish that is both rich and precise.

Yann Alexandre Champagne Sous-les-Roses Blanc de Noirs 2017 750ml (Introductory Price)
Yann Alexandre Champagne Sous-les-Roses Blanc de Noirs — Montagne de Reims 2017
From a single parcel in the village of Courmas, this grower Champagne is one of the most compelling Blanc de Noirs we carry. Yann Alexandre farms the Sous-les-Roses vineyard on shallow calcareous-clay soils ideally suited to Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, and the 2017 vintage — a late year followed by a great summer — produced beautifully mature, structured fruit. The blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Pinot Meunier is fermented in stainless steel and oak barrel, then aged approximately five years en tirage under natural cork, building remarkable complexity, depth, and a refined mousse.
The result is a dry, focused, and gastronomic Champagne. Ripe stone fruit, brioche, and mineral tension lead to a full-flavored yet precise palate with fine texture and a long, vinous finish. At just 4 g/L dosage, this is Champagne for the table — equally at home with roast poultry, duck, veal, mushroom dishes, aged cheeses, and charcuterie.

A rare single-vineyard Blanc de Noirs from a meticulous grower — Yann Alexandre's Sous-les-Roses is the kind of Champagne that rewards both the table and the cellar.
Yann Alexandre Grande Reserve 1er Cru Brut (2015 Base) (Introductory Price)
This complex Premier Cru grower Champagne is assembled from four carefully selected vineyard parcels in the Premier Cru villages of Coulommes-la-Montagne, Villedommange and Vrigny. Compared with Yann Alexandre’s Brut Noir, the vineyard imprint is more distinctly calcareous, giving the wine pronounced chalky minerality, structure and freshness.
The blend is composed of 45% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier. Pinot Noir contributes depth and structure, Chardonnay provides finesse, brightness and mineral tension, while Pinot Meunier adds fruit, generosity and suppleness. Together, the three traditional Champagne varieties create a balanced, vinous and deeply expressive cuvée.
Eighty percent of the wine is fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and purity of fruit, while the remaining 20% is fermented in neutral oak, contributing texture and subtle complexity without imparting an overt wood character. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is matured for approximately eight months in stainless steel and oak before bottling.
The 2015 base wine is blended with 40% reserve wine, adding depth, consistency and layers of mature character. The completed cuvée then spends seven years en tirage in the Alexandre family’s cool cellar. This extended lees aging develops a refined mousse, creamy texture and complex savory qualities while preserving the wine’s freshness, energy and mineral drive.
Wet clay and stone on the nose combine with buttery shortcrust pastry and a delicate edge of honey. The concentrated palate shows beautiful evolution, adding notes of honeycomb and chewy beeswax to a rich and structured body. Brisk, fine bubbles provide freshness and momentum, all set against a persistent background of chalky minerality.
Deeply gastronomic and impressively sustained, the wine finishes with a lovely saline note that emphasizes its precision and sense of place. Its combination of maturity, freshness and mineral structure makes it equally compelling as an aperitif or served throughout a meal.
Yann and Séverine Alexandre approach their vineyards with the care and precision of horticulturists, encouraging biodiversity, healthy soils and deep vine roots. Each grape variety and vineyard parcel is vinified separately before blending, allowing Yann to preserve the individual character of the sites while creating a harmonious final cuvée. The estate is certified sustainable by OCACIA.
Pair with roast chicken, turkey, veal, creamy mushroom dishes, lobster, scallops, grilled fish, aged cheeses and other richly flavored savory dishes.

Expert Reviews
Robert Parker 95 Points | Brilliant aromas of black cherries and cassis jump from the glass, as the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Peak Edcora Vineyard bursts with fruit. All Cabernet Sauvignon, from a site that neighbors Stagecoach Vineyard, this is a medium to full-bodied, densely concentrated example of mountain fruit, yet it's one that is not harsh or tough, with well-ripened tannins and a plush, lingering finish. Bravo.
Jeb Dunnuck 94+ Points | All varietal, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Peak Edcora Vineyard is another deep purple-hued wine in the lineup with tons to love. Pure cassis, graphite, leafy herbs, and damp earth-like nuances all shine here, and it's medium to full-bodied, with beautiful mid-palate depth, ripe, integrated, yet ample tannins, and a great finish. It offers pleasure today, yet I see no reason this shouldn't evolve for 15+ years if well stored. It's another gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon in the vintage.
The Wine Independent 97+ Points | Deep garnet-purple in color, the single-varietal 2021 Peak Edcora Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon charges out of the gate with bold notions of creme de cassis, blackberry pie, and boysenberry preserves followed by nuances of dark chocolate, camphor, and black olives. The medium to full-bodied palate is laden with black fruit and savory layers, supported by firm, ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing on a lingering minty note.
Yzaguirre Clasico Blanco Catalonia Spain Vermouth LITER
Winemaker Description
With a straw yellow colour, Yzaguirre Blanco Clasico Vermouth has an intense aroma with herby and spicy notes. Mild balsamic touches give it a pleasant and very unique structure. Fresh and smooth in the mouth and very well balanced, it has notes of vanilla and cinnamon.
Excellent as an everyday aperitif. Serve with 2 anchovy-stuffed olives, 2 or 3 ice cubes and a twist of orange. Serve very chilled.
Memo Summary Notes
The Yzaguirre Blanco Clásico Vermouth is a well-regarded example of the Spanish style of white vermouth, produced by Bodegas Yzaguirre, a house with a long history in the Catalan region (between Reus and Tarragona) dating back to 1884.
Yzaguirre's vermouths are made using traditional, artisanal methods and a blend of over 80 aromatic herbs and spices that are macerated (soaked) in a white wine base.
Cocktails: It works excellently as the Bianco/Blanc component in various cocktails, often where a sweet, less bitter white vermouth is desired:
-
White Negroni (often with Gin, and a bitter like Suze or Luxardo Bitter Bianco).
-
Martini variations (as a sweeter alternative to Dry Vermouth).
-
V&S (Vermouth and Soda): Simple, refreshing, and popular in Spain.
Yzaguirre DRY RESERVA Vermouth WHITE 1.0 LITER
Producer Description
With a deep yellow color, Yzaguirre Blanco Reserva Vermouth is highly aromatic, velvety and pleasant on the palate, with woody, herby and spicy notes reminiscent of ripe fruit. Its initial flavor is very tasty and balanced, in perfect harmony with its acidity. Twelve months in oak barrels give it consistency and character.
Great as an everyday aperitif or early evening drink. Excellent in a long drink with a few drops of Campari, 3 or 4 ice cubes, a slice of orange, a twist of orange peel and fresh mint leaves. Perfect for use in the kitchen to add another dimension to your dishes.
Memo Summary Notes
That is a great choice! The Yzaguirre DRY RESERVA Vermouth WHITE is a distinctive and highly-regarded Spanish vermouth, known for its unique aging process which sets it apart from typical dry vermouths.
The oak aging softens the vermouth and adds complexity that you don't find in stainless-steel-aged dry vermouths, making it excellent for sipping or mixing.
Zahel Orange Traube BIODYNAMIC 2022 750ml
Winemaker Description
Originating from wild vines, Orangetraube was first selected as a recognized varietal in 1840 and has been a part of the Zahel family's field blends (Gemischter Satz) since the winery began in 1930, but only produced as a monovarietal white since 1954.
Two generations later, Alexander Zahel is the last remaining producer of this unique treasure of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
This unique historic variety from Vienna's vineyards is fresh, complex, and edgy, with under ripe stone fruit and zippy acidity.
Zalto Bordeaux Glass
Shaped to emphasize the best characteristics of truly fine red wine: density, power, extracts and tannins, brought together to form a whole that is much more than the sum of its parts. The Bordeaux glass is the perfect vehicle for Bordeaux- but also Brunello, Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Rioja, Merlot, St. Laurent, Zweigelt, Blaufrankisch, Shiraz, Cabernets (Franc and Sauvignon) and similarly styled red wines.
The height of the glass is 9.1 inches and it is 4.3 inches at its widest part. The volume capacity is 765 ml.
Zalto Burgundy Glass
This is the largest glass in the Zalto line, and can actually hold a full bottle of wine, though you would never guess that because despite its size, the glass itself still feels light and agile in your hand. The design was not based on being the largest just for the sake of it- as with the entire line, the angles follow that of the Earth tilt angles of 24, 48 and 72 degrees.
The size here is to allow for your biggest, most powerful and expressive wines to fully breathe and develop. For the alcohol to integrate with the fruit notes; the acid to balance the tannins (and, when necessary, the oak.)
Use this glass with mighty Cabernets and Chardonnays, the most powerful Nebbiolo, Barbaresco, Barolo and Barberas, and Pinots that lean towards the fruit-bomb style. It is also fascinating to see what an older vintage, more complex white wine will do here, such as a cellared Gruner Veltliner Smaragd or Reserve.
The height of the glass is 9.1 inches and it is 4.9 inches at its widest part. The volume capacity is 960 ml.
All Zalto glasses are lead free. We recommend using a dishwasher rather than hand washing.
Zalto Champagne Glass
Zalto is today one of the big names in professional glassmaking in the wine world. Made in Austria, the Zalto glasses of the Denk'Art series were influenced by the Earth: the curves of the chalice follow, according to the manufacturer, the angles of inclination of the blue planet, i.e. 24 °, 48 ° and 72 °. Zalto glass is mouth blown and handcrafted by an Austrian master glassmaker. The tradition of the most skilled glassblowers is reflected in the finesse of each Zalto glass.
Despite their featherweight Zalto glasses have all the attributes of a modern glass and are designed to be dishwasher safe.
Materials: Lead-free crystal, carefully selected raw materials guaranteed free of lead oxide give Zalto glasses a high resistance to opacification. Producer Description.
Zalto Universal Glass
For red and white wines. This glass is all about elegance and finesse, created from a single piece of mouth-blown glass from the lip of the bowl to the base of the stem. It has been hailed by wine lovers as the perfect Riesling glass, but is also particularly fine for Chardonnay and Gruner Veltliner as well as Chianti and roses.
Technical perfection is the basic principle of the Zalto Denk'Art glasses, and they have always been produced following a tradition of using only the most highly skilled glass-blowers working with a selection of the best raw materials. Originally designed by Father Hans Denk, the famous Austrian "Wine Priest" who was inspired by the tilt angles of the Earth which influenced the design of the curve of the bowls.
All Zalto glasses are lead free and dishwasher safe.
Height: 235 mm, Volume Capacity: 530 ml
Zalto White Wine Glass
Created for the complexity and refinement of charming, focused white wines, this glass will make them sing as never before. The shape of the bowl will highlight and articulate the subtle layers and minerality of the wine. This glass will also bring out the more elegant notes in medium bodied red wine that does not have overt barrique development.
Use for fruit-forward Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Frizzante, Muskateller and unoaked Chardonnay, as well as the style of reds mentioned before such as St.Laurent, Blaufrankisch, Chianti and Dolcetto. Older vintage Champagnes also benefit from the shape of this bowl.
The height of the glass is 9.1 inches and it is 3.2 inches at its widest part. The volume capacity is 400 ml.
Zantho Blaufrankisch Burganland Austria 2022 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2022
The Wine Enthusiast by Aleks Zecevic writes 88 Points | This features oak spice notes, but with nice vibrancy and ripeness of Damson plum and mulberry. Some ripe stem notes emerge and mark the moderately long finish.
Winemaker Description
The classic Blaufränkisch from Zantho shows a fine fruit reminiscent of blackberries with a hint of cinnamon. Juicy berries on the palate are supported by a very harmonious acid and tannin structure.

ZD Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2022 750mL
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2022
The Wine Enthusiast by Elaine Chukan Brown writes 92 Points | Generous and energetic, this Cabernet Sauvignon joins flavors of baked cherries and cranberries with a sprinkle of spice, vanilla and mocha cream, and almost-tobacco spices. Fine, persistent tannins carry through a long finish.
Winemaker Description
The 2022 growing season began with a mild spring that warmed into a temperate summer. The certified-organic grapes for this 2022 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon matured smoothly and steadily, with a heat spike in early September that helped ripen the fruit to an ideal brix.
95 Points, Double Gold Medal
San Francisco Int'l Wine Competition, 2025
94 Points, Platinum Medal
Monterey Wine Competition, 2025
Gold Medal Pacific Rim Int'l Wine Competition, 2025
Following ZD’s signature style of producing big, ripe, fruit-forward wines, we sourced the grapes from small, organically certified vineyards, each with its own unique “terroir.” Each vineyard lot was fermented separately in small open-top fermenters and punched down three times a day, ensuring a gentle but effective extraction of color and tannins.
The individual lots were then aged in small American Oak cooperage for a year until final blending. The wine was returned to barrel and aged for an additional year before bottling.
This wine has a beautiful, deep ruby color with nuanced aromas blending cassis, anise, cola, black cherry pie, and subtle hints of baking spices complemented with cedar and vanilla. On the palate, red and dark fruits are forward and bright with fine, well-integrated tannins that gives it an unctuous mouthfeel. Lingering hints of blackberry, cocoa and toasty vanilla round out the long, lush finish. The balance of this wine leads to it drinking wonderfully now and it will continue to develop more complexity with age.
ZD Wines Chardonnay California 2023 750ml
ZD Wines Chardonnay — California 2023
ZD Wines has been crafting benchmark California Chardonnay for over 55 years, and the 2023 vintage — the estate’s 55th harvest — is a landmark expression of everything the house does best. Sourced from certified-organic grapes across three premier coastal appellations — Napa Carneros, Sonoma Carneros, and Monterey — the fruit is hand-harvested at night to preserve freshness, then 100% barrel-fermented in ZD’s custom-designed cellar at a cool 48°F. This long, cool fermentation maximizes lees contact for richness and depth while deliberately avoiding malolactic fermentation to preserve the wine’s signature bright coastal acidity. Ten months in 100% American oak adds complexity and the house’s hallmark crème brûlée finish. The 2023 earned 90 points and three Gold Medals in 2025 — Los Angeles Invitational, San Francisco Chronicle, and Pacific Rim International.
The color is pale yellow with a luminous hue. The nose bursts with ripe Asian pear, green apple, honeydew melon, pink grapefruit, and nectarine. On the palate, it is vibrant and richly textured — lemon curd, guava, and white peach are framed by mouthwatering acidity and a long, complex finish of crème brûlée and vanillin. Sunshine in a glass.

Expert Reviews - Vintage 2021
Decanter 94 Points | Refined and elegant with dark cherry, raspberry and purple florals overlaid by wild herb and balsamic hints. Sapid, stony and bright with gentle power, fine structure and a quietly unfolding complexity.
The Wine Advocate 92 Points | From loess parcels, the 2021 Pinot Noir TS is from the Tschuppen. The purple-ruby colored wine opens with clear, fresh, well-defined cherry aromas with tart floral notes. Silky, fresh and elegant on the palate, this is a saline, tight and mineral, beautifully refreshing and tart-finishing Pinot Noir with tight but fine tannins and serious mineral acidity. From a remarkable terroir, this is a thirst-quenching Pinot of remarkable character, bone dry but irresistible. 12% stated alcohol. Tasted at the domaine in February 2024.

Zuccardi Aluvional Paraje Altamira Malbec 2020 750ml
Wine Advocate 97 Points | The 2020 Aluvional Gualtallary is more floral and expressive, a little more exuberant than the 2019 I tasted next to it. In 2020, they harvested some 10 days earlier than in 2019 (they started in February!), and the wines finished with similar alcohol levels (14%) and even with a slightly lower pH and higher acidity in 2020, so with very good freshness. They fermented with some 30% to 50% of stems in the vinification (they use grapes from three different vineyards that are vinified separately, all in the Monasterio part of Gualtallary) and matured the wine in concrete. This is very young, and the palate reveals the inner notes of thyme and rockrose, the violets and the small berries. The texture is akin to liquid chalk, a mineral and austere wine, with very fine tannins and a long, dry finish.
