The Wine Advocate by William Kelley writes 92 Points |
Generous and expressive, the latest rendition of Vilmart's NV Brut Premier Cru Cuvée Rubis is showing very well, bursting with aromas of red berries, plums, blood orange and dried flowers. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a sapid core of fruit, a pillowy mousse and a lively, delicately phenolic finish, it's already drinking well. This is based on the 2017 vintage, with reserve wines from the 2016 and 2015 vintages, and it was disgorged with nine grams per liter dosage.
- The Wine Spectator 93 Points | Fine and harmonious, this is lightly chalky and refined in texture, showing pinpoint integration of its well-spiced range of pureed raspberry, blood orange granita, lime peel, biscuit and mineral notes and its spine of chiseled acidity. Concentrated yet ethereal. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Disgorged July 2024. Drink now through 2030.
- Allen Meadows Burghound 91 Points | Medium ruby color. The moderately fruity nose is composed of raspberry, cherry, strawberry and lovely yeast, apple and citrus peel whiffs. The delicious and super-yeasty flavors possess fine depth on the clean and relatively dry finish, indeed this is notably drier than what is typical for the genre. Lovely and this is a wine that could be enjoyed now or held for a few years first.
- Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points | The NV Cuvée Rubis is vibrant pink, with aromas of wildflowers, wild raspberry, and juicy fruit. The palate is juicy and round, with blood orange, and perfect for relatively near-term drinking over the next 6-8 years.
Domaine de la Romanee Conti La Tache Grand Cru Monopole Biodynamic 2022 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2022
Decanter 100 Points | The 2022 La Tâche was very impressive out of barrel; still, at the time I preferred the Romanée-Conti. I am less certain of this judgement when tasting the wines in bottle. Admittedly it is splitting hairs, but to judge what they show today, the exquisite La Tâche may have edged ahead of even the Romanée-Conti at present. It is a serious wine, substantial and structured; less open than the Richebourg and showing more savoury and spice notes than overt primary fruit, yet it is a wine that is unbelievably dense with flavour and long on the finish.
The Wine Advocate 98 Points | The 2022 La Tâche Grand Cru is the most complex and compelling wine in the range at this early stage. Wafting from the glass with aromas of sweet red berries and plums mingled with rose petals, orange zest, exotic spices, incense and wintergreen, it's full-bodied, rich and layered, with a deep and pure core of fruit, lively acids and sweet, powdery tannins, concluding with a long, gently oak-inflected finish. It was harvested the fourth through the sixth of September, just after the Grands-Échézeaux, and bottled in March 2024.
The Wine Spectator by Bruce Sanderson 95-98 Points Barrel Sample | La Tâche exudes black cherry and licorice aromas and flavors, an altogether darker, meatier profile with greater concentration. Nonetheless, it is also refined, with a lingering aftertaste suggesting sandalwood.
Marchese Antinori Tignanello Toscana 2022 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2022
The Wine Advocate 97 Points | Rich and fruit-forward, the Marchesi Antinori 2022 Tignanello very much respects the vintage that tends to deliver more concentration and volume overall. It delivers extra fruit weight with a velvety, satiny feel over a generous mouthfeel. Tignanello offers blackcurrant and cherry, but there is a mineral note that keeps things focused. This is a beautiful expression of the vintage, with excellent work done to execute soft tannins, texture and length.
James Suckling 96 Points | There’s extraordinary energy in this wine. It displays a dark nose of black cherries, bramble fruit, violets, forest, licorice, bark, carob and leather. Density and tension dominate the full-bodied palate, with firm, velvety tannins. It’s slightly austere in the finish at the moment, yet it’s crunchy and full of potential.
Vinous 95 Points | The 2022 Tignanello is such an elegant, poised wine. Brisk acids cut through a core of red Sangiovese fruit. Crushed flowers, mint, cinnamon, rose petal and a kiss of French oak appear later, adding notable brightness. The 2022 is a decidedly mid-weight Tignanello, but all the elements are very nicely balanced throughout.
Decanter 95 Points | Tignanello in 2022 is a blend of 78% Sangiovese, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc. Pot-pourri-infused red and black berry aromas introduce a succulent palate of good intensity. It's well balanced and bright, with cashmere tannins supporting a core of sapid hedgerow berries outlined by crushed rock minerality and bitter herbs. The finish is slightly disjointed, displaying a touch of alcohol warmth and wood which is yet to fully integrate, but given time it should come good.
Vinous 95 Points | Tignanello saw rain episodes at the end of the season, like most properties, but steep, well-draining hillsides were a clear advantage. The blend is 78% Sangiovese, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc, essentially the classic proportions here.
The Wine Spectator 94 Points | The rich texture wraps around plum, cherry, graphite, tobacco and earth flavors, with a line of dusty tannins underneath. Fresh, elegant and long, ending with a pleasant astringency. Give this a year or two to integrate. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2027 through 2040.
Chateau Aqueria Tavel Rose Cotes-du-Rhone 2024 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2024
The Tasting Panel 94 Points by Michael Franz writes 94 Points | Tavel is the world’s only appellation solely devoted to rosé wines, and Château d’Aqueira is a specialist of a very high order. This wine’s beautiful ruby color displays an unwillingness to tilt toward the wildly popular style of Provence, and it is followed up by wonderfully deep flavors recalling pomegranate and ripe red cherry that remain fresh thanks to a streak of acidity that continues through the finish. Please, let this wine never change.
The Wine Advocate by Yohan Castaing writes 91 Points | Notes of raspberries, wild strawberries, pomegranate and grapefruit preface the 2024 Tavel from Château d’Aquéria, a medium- to full-bodied, round and enveloping wine with a structured mid-palate and a long, spicy and generous finish
James Suckling 91 Points | Dense, fruit-driven and caressing, showing watermelons, crushed berries and mild spices on the nose. Medium-bodied with a delicious, well-rounded and supple development on the palate. Vivid and flavorful.
Winemaker Description
The intense pink color is characteristic of a great Tavel and shines with bright red glints. Aromas of raspberry and strawberry share the glass with peppery notes. The wine is balanced and flavorful, and the finish is long with caramel notes. It is a gastronomic rosé that pairs with every part of the meal from aperitif through dessert.
Food Pairing | Pair with barbeque, red meat, dessert, or fruit.
Grapes of exceptional quality from a noble terroir allow Château d’Aqueria to craft a quintessential Tavel, widely appreciated as the finest wine of its appellation. Grapes are handpicked from Château d’Aqueria’s own vineyards, which span 163 acres across the sandy slopes of Tavel. The mesoclimate is ideal for cultivating Grenache and crafting crisp, fresh rosé wines. Using its cutting-edge weather station, located in the heart of the vineyards, Château d’Aqueria precisely monitors weather conditions and adjusts vineyard practices accordingly.
The grapes are hand harvested and destemmed, followed by a maceration to extract color. The varieties are blended two by two to enhance aromatic complexity. This is a key step in crafting these Tavel wines as this maceration extracts color, structure, and matter.
The grapes are then pressed before the fermentation undergoing temperature-controlled maceration and fermentation in stainless steel vats for 15 days. This wine sees no malolactic fermentation and no oak contact. A second blend takes place in December before bottling.
This results in a flavorful, vibrant, and food-friendly rosé that can be enjoyed year-round.
Secondo Marco Valpolicella Classico 2020 750ml
Expert Review -Vintage 2020
Falstaff 92 Points | Bright, radiant ruby red. Elegant nose, reminiscent of cut flowers, raspberry and some paprika powder. Delicate, youthful on the palate, with a pleasant acidity. The finish is long and mineral. Clean mouthfeel.
Ridge Vineyards Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 750ml
OwenBargreen.com: 93 Points “The 2023 ‘Santa Cruz Mountains’ Cabernet Sauvignon has 15% Merlot blended in. It is refined and elegant on the tongue, as the toasty oak caresses a gorgeous core of dark currants, black cherry compote and espresso bean notes alongside gravelly soils. Very fresh and vibrant, with terrific acidity, enjoy now and over the next ten plus years. Drink 2025-2035.” -Owen Bargreen (June 2025).
Vinous Media: 93 Points “The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon (Santa Cruz Mountains) is a blend of fruit from the Monte Bello estate and a few neighboring vineyards (Bates, Vidovich and Fellom) aged for 16 months in 100% American oak. Taut and structured, the 2023 opens with dark fruit, cracked pepper, smoked meat, tobacco leaf and cedar, all enshrouded in firm, chalky tannins that lead to a long, savory finish. This is a very fine access point to the Ridge house style at a more approachable price. As a note, this cuvée has existed in various iterations in the past, and was the original designation for what eventually became Ridge’s Estate Cabernet.” -Billy Norris (September 2025).
Wine Enthusiast: 93 Points + Cellar Selection “This bottling, which includes 15% Merlot and 4% Petite Verdot, marks the return of an appellation blend to the Ridge lineup. Aromas of black plum, clove and ajwain draw in the nose, while the palate picks up licorice and more black plum alongside a firm structure.” -Matt Kettmann (December 2025 Issue).
Wine Advocate: 92 Points “Including contracted fruit from Bates Ranch, Fellom Ranch and Vidovich, along with additions from Monte Bello, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon marks the first return of this cuvée since 2007. A lush nose of sweet black fruits, pine needles, sage and a gourmand touch of vanilla pod introduces a soft, velvety and pliable palate, ending with a pure, mouthwatering finish framed by a subtle touch of woody tannins. Overall, it’s a solid, accessible and over-performing example of Santa Cruz Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, which includes 15% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot.” -Matthew Luczy (August 2025).
Wine Spectator: 92 Points “This sports a lively singed mesquite and savory aspect out front, with juicy and youthfully compact notes of red currant, bitter cherry and plum coulis held in check for now. Shows nicely chiseled tannins through the finish. A modicum of patience is needed. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Best from 2027 through 2038.” -James Molesworth (September 2025)
Parajes del Valle Monastrell Jumilla Organic 2023 750ml
Expert Review- Vintage 2023
James Suckling 90 Points | Made with organic grapes, muted aromas unfurl in your glass unleashing aromas of strawberry, bacon fat, blackberry, red currant and crushed cranberry. Grippy tannins crave grilled meat on the palate that delivers additional flavors of black olive and cassis. Pair with steak, kebabs and beef Bourgogne.
Winemaker Description
Parajes del Valle is a dynamic new winery, founded in 2018 and led by winemaker María Jover, whose experience includes a stint at Vega Sicilia. At just 28, she brings a fresh, modern approach to Jumilla’s winemaking traditions. The winery works exclusively with certified organic Monastrell from old vines (15–40 years), spread across four plots: Fuente de las Perdices, La Cañada de Albatana, and Término de Arriba in northern Jumilla.
These vineyards are maintained under the traditional terraje system, where growers rent the land and return 7% of the harvest in exchange for tending the vines. Though this system sustains many of Jumilla’s oldest vineyards (80–90 years), it is increasingly under threat from modern irrigation practices. Parajes del Valle is committed to preserving terraje, even paying above market price to ensure the highest quality fruit. Fermentation starts in stainless steel before finishing in concrete tanks, allowing the wine to naturally clarify and stabilise over winter.

Domaine Louis Jadot Santenay Clos de Malte Blanc 2023 750ml
Expert Reviews - VIntage 2023
Decanter 92 Points | Jadot's white from its holdings at the top of the slope in Santenay is easy to love, with forward aromas of ripe apples, pears and a hint of white flowers. As technical director Frédéric Barnier explains: 'The whole task is to keep the freshness and balance. We blocked the malolactic conversion and won't go too far on the elevage.' His tactics seem to have worked. Although the wine is marked at present by the cask ageing (one-third new), this should be ready to drink at bottling.
James Suckling 91 Points | Attractive toasty and nutty aromas are married to generous candied citrus fruit on the silky, medium- to full-bodied palate. The bright, flinty acidity gives this excellent energy. Drink or hold.
The Wine Advocate 90 Points | Aromas of peach, pear, orange zest and toasted nuts introduce the 2023 Santenay Clos de Malte Blanc (Domaine Louis Jadot), a medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless palate that's charming and expressive. It's another solid performance for this reliable bottling.
Louis Jadot Meursault 2022 750ml

The Wine Spectator 92 Points | Verging on creamy in texture, this white exudes peach, apple and honey flavors wrapped in an embrace of toasty oak. Vibrant and harmonious, with a long, layered aftertaste, where a mineral element emerges. Drink now through 2032.

Winemaker Description
Napa Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon brims with ripe, concentrated aromas of black currant, loganberry and fig, underscored by threads of warm spice and mocha.

Winemaker Description

Lively and expressive, this Sauvignon Blanc shines with bright acidity and a refreshing energy that carries through to the clean, lingering finish.
Billecart Salmon Champagne Les Rendez-Vous Edition 8 750ml
Expert Review - Edition Eight
James Suckling by Claire Nesbitt writes 94 Points | This has aromas of orchard fruit like apples and pears, plus grapefruit, sea shells and bread crust. Chalky minerality on the palate, which has a lively acidic backbone. Tight bubbles. Dry, driven and chalky finish. Meunier from the 2018 harvest. Vinified in stainless steel with full malolactic. 3.9 g/L dosage. Disgorged October 2024. Drink now.
Winemaker Description
This eighth Rendez-Vous reveals the Meunier grape variety and expresses the full mineral tension of the terroir of Leuvrigny with its predominantly chalky soil. Made on the base of the 2018 vintage, this single-cru champagne benefits from long ageing for 63 months. Meticulous selection, focusing on the purity of the fruit and the balance of flavours, always with a low dosage.
Delicious saline creaminess borne upon tart juicy fruit (fresh mango, redcurrant, pomelo), expressing a pure elegant delicacy. A long, refreshing finish with flavours of white cherry, buckwheat and shortbread, takes over from chalky notes.
Billecart-Salmon takes you to the historic vineyards of Leuvrigny in the heart of Vallée de la Marne.
Here you will discover a new expression of Meunier, revealing a very special identity. The delicacy of its floral notes and the sweetness of its fruity aromas from this single varietal wine will brighten up your most beautiful shared moments.
Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir 2022 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2022
The Wine Spectator 92 Points | Approachable and elegant, with a creamy quality to the seamless mix of maraschino cherry, framboise, lingonberry preserves and Earl Grey. Touches of loamy earth and cedar add an appealingly firming note on the finish. Drink now. 22,000 cases made, 1,500 cases imported.
James Suckling 92 Points | Enticing aromas of plums, orange peel and strawberries with hints of mushrooms that follow through to a medium body with soft, fine tannins and a fresh finish. Tangy and vivid at the end.
The Wine Advocate 90+ Points | The 2022 Pinot Noir is creamy and spicy, with poached strawberries, sumac, some oak that pokes through and plenty of chalky tannin. The wine feels a little "elbows and knees" currently; but the cuvée ages well, and this appears to have all it needs to go some distance in the cellar. It's light in frame but with persistent flavor. 13.5% alcohol.
Winemaker Description
Open and expressive on the nose, with notes of wild hedgerow fruits, crushed rose petals and sun-warmed red cherry. The palate is finely tuned, with silky tannins and a pure dart of acidity framing and balancing out a core of summer berries, soft spices and a touch of biscuity vanilla. Long on the finish, this wine evokes warm summer evenings, strawberries nestled under shaded leaves and the lingering scent of barbecue smoke.
Versatility is this Pinot Noir’s calling card. It matches with a wide variety of foods, including lighter game meats (duck, rabbit), lamb, roasted vegetables, berries, herbs and almost anything chargrilled.
Joseph Drouhin Vosne Romanee 2023 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2023
Jasper Morris 93 Points | An attractive mid crimson colour. A fine fresh bouquet, elegant fruit, not too demonstrative, but with a graceful detailed red fruit, alpine strawberry and little raspberry notes. Very nicely put together, all about the fruit more than the structure. Drink from 2030-2037.
Winemaker Description
Supreme elegance! Beautiful color, with intense and bright reflections. The diversity of the aromas is striking: wild cherry, nutmeg, camphor wood, fine leather... Later on, the wine takes on a subtle aroma of truffle, producing the most varied palette. With its perfect balance between tannin and acidity, the wine has a fleshy, sturdy body. Powerful and long aftertaste. A wealth of harmonious sensations characterizes this great Burgundy.

Medium-bodied, it boasts an elegant mouthfeel, fine tannins, a juicy mid-palate, and a clean finish. It's drinking fantastically now and will continue to drink well over the next 5-6 years.
Vinous 90 Points | The 2022 Rosso di Montalcino is mentholated and fresh, with dried strawberries and crushed stones wafting up from the glass. This is soft-textured and pure in feral form, with ripe red berries and spices cascading throughout. It leaves a gentle tension and crunchy sensation while tapering off poised and with medium length.

Aromas of pears, white peaches, lime peel and lemon leaves. It’s soft on the palate, with a silky texture, sharp acidity, peach flavors and a polished finish in spite of its citrus peel aftertaste.

Decatner 93 Points | Taut and precise, mouthwatering and dry. Lime shot through with light peach and a dab of salt. From the same Red Bank Farm vineyard as the Picnic Riesling, but aged a little longer on the lees. Could take on spicy seafood or raw oysters. Will age well.

It embodies the signature blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, sourced exclusively from the sun-drenched, south-facing slopes of Bouzy. The bouquet is expressive, unfolding with aromas of pear, ripe citrus and warm spices, mingling with nuances of toasted bread and orange zest. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, showcasing a livelier, more luminous fruit profile than its predecessor, driven by racy acidity and finishing with a pronounced saline finish. Resonance Louis Jadot Estates RESONANCE VINEYARD Pinot Noir Yamhill Carlton District 2021 750ml
Expert Reviews
93 Points Wine Enthusiast: The kind of acidity that raises goose bumps on arms fuels a lively wine packing oodles of tart red cherries and boysenberries, along with flavors of espresso and sea salt. The aromas are equally captivating, as black cherries, glove leather and violets fill the air with each glass swirl. Try it with a bacon sandwich.
James Suckling writes: More mineral and reserved with aromas of cherry stones, blackberries, iron, dark raspberries, tea leaves and dried violets. Firm, focused and deep, with a medium body and tight-knit tannins. Mineral and tight at the moment. From organically grown grapes. Try from 2024.
95 Points Rober Parker Wine Advocate: The 2021 Résonance Vineyard Pinot Noir has broody aromas of pomegranate, black cherry, iodine, forest floor and amaro. Despite its concentrated, floral flavors, it has an elegant structure of silky tannins and vibrant acidity and a very long, nuanced finish.
94 Points Decanter: Charming aromatics of violets and spice. 300-500ft elevation and marine sedimentary soils. 40-year-old vines are own-rooted and planted in 1981. The Résonance vineyard was acquired in 2013, 20 acres, with tangy blackberries and cranberries that meld with blood oranges and spice. Smoky mint notes lift clove and Chinese five spice. 70% Pommard, 15% Dijon and 15% wadenswil. The original blocks are the heart of this wine. The density of fruit comes from marine soils, 100% destemmed with extended maceration, native yeasts and no pump overs. 3-4 week maceration. Lees are removed after malo, and the wines are aged 18 months in oak. Fruit complements the tension and mineral core of the wine. The three clonal selections help craft the wine, Wadenswil brings structure, Dijon the elegance and black fruit.
Winemaker Description
This Estate-Grown Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is the signature expression of our Résonance Vineyard. Sourced from 20 acres of organically dry-farmed Pinot noir on south-facing slopes in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, these vines benefit from some of the choicest vineyard land in Oregon wine country. Uniquely ungrafted (retaining their original rootstock) clonal selections of Pommard, Dijon 777, and Wädenswil directly translate the terroir of the ancient basaltic sedimentary soil. Our Résonance Vineyard Pinot Noir reveals the immense character, the “somewhereness”, of this historic property.
De Wetshof Limestone Hill Chardonnay 2024 750ml
Warehouse stored item - please allow one to three business days to fulfill.
The Wine Advocate 90 Points | Under screw cap, the De Wetshof Estate 2024 Robertson Limestone Hill Chardonnay offers a simple delivery of citrus, pomelo and wild sage. The wine focuses on brightness and is extremely drinkable, but perhaps it's a little less complex compared to all the other very different Chardonnays in this portfolio. You get a pretty note of latex or natural rubber, which I really like. This wine is unoaked, and that's what sets it apart.
EMOTIONS LA TOUR BLANCHE SAUTERNES 2022
Warehouse stored item - please allow one to three business days to fulfill.
Jeb Dunnuck 93 Points | The 2022 Château La Tour Blanche is juicy and lively, with an exotic nose of honeyed orange, white chocolate, flowers, and hints of mint. It's a rich, unctuous, fleshy, full-bodied Sauternes that brings incredible opulence while staying nicely balanced and relatively light on its feet.

Savage White Blend 2023 750ml
Warehouse stored item - please allow one to three business days to fulfill.
The Wine Advocate 93 Points | A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, the Savage Wines 2023 Savage White is the only wine in the portfolio that sees a little bit (10%) of new oak. The intent is to offer a textural interpretation of these two grapes. The wine shows natural freshness, white flowers, wood spice and a hint of reduction. The 2023 vintage was cooler, like 2017, making for a classical growing season. This wine has a long saline finish with orchard fruit and pear with a mid-weight approach. The wine is left on the lees for as long as possible to augment that impression of salinity and to create longevity.
Silvio Carta Vermouth Bianco Serivito 750ml

It’s elegantly floral and herbaceous, with a subtle sweetness and vibrant, coastal freshness. Enjoy it chilled, over ice with a lemon twist, or as a base for a distinctly Sardinian spritz.

Jacques Capsouto - Cuvee Marco - Grand Vin Rouge Kosher 2018 750ml
Expert Review
2018 Jacques Capsouto Cuvee Marco, Grand Vin Rouge – Score: 90 Points |
This wine is a blend of 40% Grenache, 40% Mourvedre, and 20% Syrah. The nose on this wine starts ripe, it is riper than its younger 2019 brother, the Cuvee Samuel. The blend is different as well, and there is much more oak on the Marco. The nose on this wine is ripe, it feels like a Cali Rhone wine more than how the 19 Samuel felt, with black and blue fruit, sweet oak, soy sauce, ripe plum, floral notes, dark and brooding, with roasted animal, and loam. The mouth on this full-bodied wine is ripe, balanced, with good acidity, blackcurrant, blackberry, boysenberry, nice draping tannin, sweet oak, loam, and black tea. The finish on this wine is ripe, with dense black fruit, loam, mushroom, graphite, milk chocolate, and nice smoke.

The Wine Advocate 92 Points | Opening with a citrus and mineral-driven nose, the 2023 Bon Vallon Chardonnay displays notions of wet concrete and petrichor before aromas of lemon oil sway out of the glass. Medium-bodied, the palate displays fresh notions of citrus blossom with spiced white tea while delivering vibrant acidity with a balanced structure possessing freshness and finesse. Maximin Grunhaus Abtsberg Riesling Spatlese 2022 750ml
Warehouse stored item - please allow one to three business days to fulfill.
James Suckling 95 Points | A great riesling Spatlese that makes it clear why this category has not disappeared in spite of the rise of dry German riesling. Concentrated peachy fruit is married to excellent structure and the balance of the touch of natural grape sweetness with wet stone minerality and crisp acidity is dazzling. Very long and vibrant finish. Drink or hold.
Abeja Chardonnay Washignton State 2021 750ml
Warehouse stored item - please allow two to five business days to fulfill.
Vinous 92 Points | The 2021 Chardonnay watts up with a vivid mix of lime-tinged yellow apple and nuances of vanilla custard. This is soft and enveloping, with a mix of saline minerals and sweet spice that gives way to tart orchard fruit. The 2021 finishes long and structured, potent yet fresh while leaving a staining of almond extract richness. There's a lot of power here, along with the balance to mature through medium-term cellaring.
