Valravn Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 2021 750ml
Winemaker Description
The 2021 Valravn Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley, Moon Mountain, and Sonoma Valley. It strikes a great balance of savory and sweet immediately apparent in the espresso roast and savory herb components layered on top of rich blackberry, marionberry and cassis fruit. It has a supple tannin structure with high tones, opulent fruit, and a long, satisfying finish.
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2021
Wine Enthusiast 92 Points | This taut and well-balanced wine offers focused aromas and flavors of black cherries, raspberries, cinnamon and toast on a firm texture of good acidity and muscular tannins. While tempting now for its layers of fruit and oak spice, the wine should show best from 2026.
James Suckling 91 Points: Ripe, spiced and toasty cabernet with blackcurrants, blackberries, cedar, pine nuts and black olives. Full-bodied, structured and a little tight with a sandy texture to the tannins and a firm, slightly chewy finish.

Expert Review - Vintage 2022
Domaine Isabelle & Denis Pommier Chablis 2022 750ml
Critic Notes
Lettie Teague writes: This terrifically bright and tangy but also rather generously proportioned wine was sourced from several organically farmed sites. -Wall Street Journal
Neal Martin writes: Plenty of appealing, ripe, sun-kissed fruit on the palate but with the acidity to keep in balance. Quite different from 2021 in style, will have wide appeal but perhaps less for Chablis purists. Drinking 2024 to 2032. - Vinous 90
Andy Howard MW writes: Plenty of appealing, ripe, sun-kissed fruit on the palate but with the acidity to keep in balance. Quite different from 2021 in style, will have wide appeal but perhaps less for Chablis purists. - Decanter
Allen Meadows writes: This is also aromatically ripe and fresh with more citrus influence to the white orchard fruit, ocean breeze and quinine-scented nose. The plump, round and delicious medium weight flavors possess a finer mouthfeel while exhibiting slightly better depth and persistence on the nicely dry if not exactly crisp finale. This too should drink well young. - Burghound
William Fevre Chablis Champs Royaux 2022 750ml

Chateau de Manissy Tete de Cuvee Tavel Rosé Organic 2022 750ml
Winemaker Description
The delicious Tavel Rosé Tete de Cuvée is the first wine ever made by historic Rhone Valley winery Chateau de Manissy. It's a biodynamic barrel-aged dry Fench rosé made from Grenache, Clairette and Cinsault grapes. Rich and complex with aromas of ripe quince, dried orange, hints of almond and exotic spice.
A gorgeous Tavel and one of those rosé wines that is built for short-term aging. The palate is silky yet full with luxurious red currant, cherry and mineral notes that cascade over the palate. A wine to serve with just about anything. Grilled tuna steaks, white meats, barbecue, ceviche. It's all good.
Expert Review
Joe Czerwiński writes: Aged in oak foudres of 25 hectoliters, the 2022 Tavel Tete de Cuvee is in some ways the most traditional of the Tavels on offer at this impeccably run estate, eschewing stainless steel and leaving out Syrah in favor of Grenache, Cinsault and Clairette. A light ruby in hue, it does show hints of pencil shavings on the nose, alongside more classic notes of red currants, tangerines and a touch of garrigue. It's full-bodied yet not overly expansive, with the wood seemingly helping to provide structure and length. Drinking 2023 - 2025. - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 92+
Domaine Olga Raffault Chinon Rosé 2023 750ml
Our Professional Review
Rand Sieger 67 Wine Buyer | This organic Cabernet Franc rosé from the center of the Loire Valley is made from hand harvested fruit half of which is whole cluster direct pressed, and half seigneé (bleeding off). It is dense and aromatic with fresh acidity and a light pearliness.
Winemaker Description
100% Cabernet Franc. Raffault uses 50% certified-organic estate fruit (from sandy, gravelly, flat parcels along the Vienne) and sources the other 50% from a neighboring grower in conversion to organic farming. All of the wine is made from hand-harvested fruit in the Raffault cellar.
Half of the fruit is pressed directly as whole clusters and the other half is saigné. The fermentation takes place spontaneously with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine does not go through malolactic fermentation and is aged in tank as well. It is bottled with a light, non-sterile filtration in the spring following the vintage.
Columbia Crest H3 Red Blend 2019 750ml
James Suckling | Red and black fruit, leather and baking spice on the nose. Full-bodied with silky tannins. Ripe-fruited with good depth and length. Straightforward and tasty.
This red blend is focused and generous, open textured and inviting, offering cherry, currant, red plum, and raspberry jam flavors. Winemaker Description.
La Crema Sauvignon Blanc Sonoma County 2023 750ml
Winemaker Description
The nose of the 2023 La Crema Sauvignon Blanc shows notes of nectarine, Lime, Melon, and subtle hints of wet stone and flint. On the palate, grapefruit and white peach are accompanied by tropical notes of mango and guava. Barrel fermentation brings volume and texture to the wine while crisp and vibrant acidity drives a juicy lingering finish.
Expert Review
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points | A brilliant silver/green-tinged hue, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc Sonoma County comes from multiple sites in Alexander Valley, Knights Valley, Dry Creek, and the Russian River Valley and is fermented both in barrel as well as in stainless steel. Aromatic with a fresh, tropical perfume of guava, melon, chive, and grapefruit, it offers an elegant and delicately rounded feel, with a kiss of candied citrus and its floral perfume lasting on the finish.
Walter Scott Chardonnay LA COMBE VERTE Willamette Valley 2022 750ml
We believe in Willamette Valley Chardonnay. This classic variety has an important place in our region and at Walter Scott, not in the replication of other inspirational regions, but in its own distinctive style, with its own compelling voice. Chardonnay is a grape which has the ability to translate our unique geology in the same way Pinot noir does. Through thoughtful farming and cellar practices, we strive to allow Chardonnay to reach its powerful Willamette Valley potential.
Our approach to Chardonnay pays attention to texture and structure, translating site and vintage. The La Combe Verte 2022 is fermented with 100% ambient yeast and full malolactic conversion in French oak barrels with very little bâtonnage. The wine is lightly filtered prior to bottling to brighten aromatics and give us a polished finish. The result is an illuminating style of Chardonnay, showcasing density and precision. The palate spotlights evolving layers of textures which follow the classic aromatic notes of lemon zest, honeycrisp apple and white flowers, with the finish offering a subtle mineral and saline character. Winemaker Description.
Flowers Vineyard Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2022 750ml
Winemaker Description
This fine-spun Pinot Noir opens with fresh aromas of coastal evergreens and wildflowers. Hints of early-season cherries follow, macerated in warm spices (anise, cardamom, allspice) and layered over earthy sandalwood. Ripe yet tangy dark berries, wearing a little dust from the patch, star on a lightly textured palate, giving way to savory herbs, delicately tannic red tea, and a pop of salty sea beans. A fascinating play of light fruit and dark spice is finished with a bright squeeze of orange peel.

Jeb Dunnuck 93 Points | Ripe ruby/red in color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is ripe and spicy, with aromas of cherries, cinnamon, beet root, and incense. Medium-bodied, it has a weightless feel, a chalky, fine-grained texture, and a spicy finish with notes of gravelly earth. (2022).
James Suckling 93 Points | A fresh yet structured pinot with dried strawberry, orange peel and light caramel with dried stems. Medium body, flavorful, firm and bright at the end. Savory. (2022).
Wine Enthusiast 93 Points | Aromas of sweet berries, cherry liqueur and cola dominate the nose of this Pinot, while the palate is loaded with cedar cigar box, coffee and maraschino cherry. The combination of freshness and grip feels very alluring, but it might need a few years to round into form. (2022).
Decanter 92 Points | Delicious, fresh, and savoury, this juicy Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast has violet and smoky flint aromatics buoyed by fresh red berries and a kiss of fresh mint. The palate is reflective, with flinty minerality coming to the fore. Pine sap, notes of fresh evergreen and lovely red fruits, clove and white peppery spice to finish. (2022).
Forstreiter Gruner Veltliner Kremstal Kogl 2021 750ml
Winemaker Description
From the most beautiful locations in the Kremstal. Fragrance reminiscent of gooseberries and cassis leaves, also herbs; juicy, fresh fruit, pinch of herbs, straightforward, uncomplicated drinking fun.
The merest touch of flinty reduction dissipates as you take the first sniff. Underneath that there is a hint of freshness, but it is only on the palate that the intensity of the yeasty concentration becomes apparent. A juicy tone of Mirabelle also arises, making for a wonderful and compelling combination.

Peter Moser writes: Light yellow green colour with silver reflections. Delicate floral notes with white orchard fruit nuances in the background, a hint of lime and tangerine zest. Juicy, elegant, fine fruitiness, finesse-rich acidity, salty finish, makes you want a second glass. Falstaff Magazine 92

Belle Glos Pinot Noir BALADE Single Survey Arroyo Seco Monterey County 2022 750ml
Winemaker Description
The word "Balade" is French for wandering. This is a fitting term for our annual exploration of single-vineyard pinot noir blocks on the west coast. Each vintage, we will bottle only the most compelling and nuanced expression of pinot noir from a single selected vineyard and release it as a limited bottling.
Dark Purple-violet tones with enticing aromas of blackberry and boysenberry notes. Sophisticated on the palate with flavors of black cherry, wild blackberry and jammy plum. Balanced and structured, this wine has beautiful acidity that lingers through to a long, mouthwatering finish.
Expert Review - Vintage 2022
Matt Kettmann of the Wine Enthusiast writes 92 Points | Dried cherry, baked plum and a full spice rack of aromas show on the nose of this bottling. Tense, slightly sappy tannins frame the sip, where black plum, stewed cherry and bay leaf flavors lead into a wood smoke-kissed finish.

Eric Texier Chat Fou Rhone Vin de France Organic 2022 750ml
Winemaker Description
50% Grenache/30% Cinsault/20% Clairette. Mainly rom vines planted on a south-facing slope on granite soils in the warm St-Julien en St-Alban zone (in the Ardèche on the northern bank of the Ouvèze--to the west of the Rhône River, at the southern edge of the northern Rhône Valley).
Some of the fruit is sourced but all is certified-organic, like the estate vines. Harvest is by hand. The bunches are partly de-stemmed and co-fermented with native yeasts in open-top concrete tanks with a short maceration (around 5 days)and no sulfur. No extraction techniques are applied to the wine, as is true for all Texier reds.
Chat Fou is aged in concrete tank on its fine lees for around 12 months and bottled without fining or filtration and with a small amount of sulfur. Starting in 2021, the wine is bottled as a Vin de France rather than as a Côtes-du-Rhône.

Poderi e Cantine Oddero Barolo 2020 750ml
Critic Notes
Walter Speller writes: Just mid ruby. Pretty sour-cherry and damson nose. Elegant, suave, ripe red-fruit palate with beautifully handled polished tannins. Very long and with the tannins clinging to the fruit. Drinking 2024 to 2030. - Jancis Robinson 17++
Monica Larner writes: Coming in hot off some truly excellent past releases, the Oddero 2020 Barolo has a pretty mineral content with pencil shaving, crushed stone and wet soil that meets forest berry and underbrush. The wine hits on all cylinders, and there is good aromatic balance. It delivers a punch of bright fruit and crushed rose that gives way to pulverized stone. For a base Barolo, this is one of your best buying options. Fruit is blended from Bricco Chiesa and Capalot in La Morra and Fiasco in Castiglione Falletto. Drinking 2026 to 2039. - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 94
Antonio Galloni writes: The 2020 Barolo is a pretty powerful wine in this peer group. Accordingly, it is going to need a few years to come into its own. Macerated cherry, licorice, lavender, cedar and sweet pipe tobacco emerge gradually, but only with great reluctance. Hints of rose petal, mint and cinnamon linger. Drinking 2024 to 2032. - Vinous 91
James Suckling writes: Well-rounded, juicy and fruit-forward with notes of sliced strawberries, raspberries, spiced cherries and herbs. Medium to full body with fine, firm tannins. Juicy on the palate with more strawberry character coming through. Lively and in control with a generous and charming finish. Try after 2026. - James Suckling 93
Feudo di Santa Tresa Rina Russa Frappato Organic Sicilia 2022 750ml
Winemaker Description
Rina Russa genuinely has its own unique style, as the Frappato grapes come from ancient clones developed on our own estate. It has a very beautiful light cherry colour, with a fresh and vibrant bouquet, reminiscent of wild strawberries and a beautifully balanced palate, with silky smooth fruit, a real freshness running through it and a surprisingly long finish.
Experts Reviews
Tamlyn Currin writes: Pale red. Tastes like a glass of summer – fresh strawberries and raspberries, ripe and sweet despite the racy acidity and gentle borage leafiness. The transparent tannins taste of cinnamon. The perfect red wine for tuna Niçoise or fish with caponata (or, quite frankly, quayside fish and chips laced with (good) tomato ketchup and chip-shop vinegar!). I love this little red wine which always reminds me of an under-tens girls' soccer team – full of energy and life and enthusiasm, fierce, determined, willing to dive right in and get grass-stained and muddy, but kind; not aggressive. Drinking 2023 to 2025. Very Good Value. - Jancis Robinson 16.5
Amy Wislocki writes: Made by acclaimed consultant winemaker Stefano Chioccioli, and new on the shelves at Waitrose, this is textbook Frappato, delicate, bright and fresh. Bright cherry red in colour, this is summer pudding in a glass, with aromas and a mouthwatering purity of crushed wild strawberries, raspberries and pomegranate. It’s lean and elegant and a perfect summer red. Try it served ever so slightly chilled, with grilled tuna. - Decanter 92
Domaine d'Andezon Cotes Du Rhone 2021 750ml
Winemaker Description
Domaine d’Andezon is one of the member-estates of Les Vignerons d’Estezargues and is unique in the region. While most of the vineyards in the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Signargues are heavier clays covered with up to a meter of galets formed at the same time as the famed plateaux of galets in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this isn’t the terroir at Andezon.
Instead, it is a fine pale sandy and chalky soil that favors Syrah (comprising 90-95% of Andezon in most vintages) in this hot and windy region by giving it an herbal lift and bright acidity.
Kristen Bieler writes: Seductive violet and cassis aromas introduce this vibrant red, with a spine of graphite and sinewy tannins adding nice length. Syrah and Grenache. Drink now through 2025 - Wine Spectator
Chateau La Nerthe Cotes Du Rhone Blanc 2022 750ml
Pale yellow with green hints. Very aromatic with notes of pear, peach, lime and floral aromas. The wine is well-balanced and elegant.
Pair with seafood, vegetable risotto, and goat cheese. Winemaker Description.
67 Wine Somm Series Bordeaux Organic 2017 750ml
Our Professional Review
Rand Sieger of 67Wine.com writes | An approachable and tasty Bordeaux. Merlot is the dominant grape and Cabernet Sauvignon plays a supporting role, adding complexity. Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Private Selection Aged in BOURBON BARRELS Monterey 2021 750ml

Ripe, dense and soft chewy tannins with toasty oak round the wine out with a lush, long, and lingering finish.
A superb accompaniment to bourbon glazed ribs, charcuterie board, hearty pasta dishes, and strong cheeses.
Fontodi Chianti Classico Organic 2020 750ml
James Suckling | Subtle aromas of sliced strawberries and cherries with some orange peel follow through to a medium body with succulent tannins and a bright and tangy finish. Lovely energy in this one. So good now. From organically grown grapes.
Wine Spectator | Rich and velvety, laced with black cherry, blackberry, violet and mineral flavors. This is driven by vibrant acidity and backed by well-mannered tannins. Shows excellent balance and length.
Decanter | This flagship Chianti Classico from the renowned Fontodi estate has grown over the years to its current annual production of 170,000 bottles, however it has not lost its identity, deeply rooted in a sun-drenched stretch of Panzano’s Conca d’Oro. The 2020 version has all the ripe dark fruit and assertive tannins that come so neatly into balance. Grilled meat, baked earth and thyme flirt with black plum. The youthful juiciness has the energy to carry this over the next eight or so years. It finishes with its signature bitter liquorice twist.
Robert Parker | A certified organic wine, the Fontodi 2020 Chianti Classico shows dark fruit and blackberry with earthy sensations of crushed stone that reflect the schistous soils found in this area of the appellation. Unlike the Filetta di Lamole (with fruit from Lamole) that is very floral in personality, this expression from Panzano has more structure, girth and general fruit weight

Bogle Vineyards Phantom 2020 750ml

This vintage (2019), Petite Sirah leads this haunting red blend with intense notes of dark blackberry and rich boysenberry. Zinfandel adds fiery pepper notes and brings a balanced structure to the final wine.
In the finish, tantalizing layers of baking spices swirl amongst velvety tannins that have softened as they’ve aged 22 months in American oak. A sip of Phantom unfurls a seductive mystery yet to be solved.
Bodegas Cepa 21 Hito Ribera del Duero 2020 750ML
Winemaker Description
Clean and bright and cherry red wine with a violet rim. The nose is very expressive, highlighting the primary aromas of Tempranillo and the presence of red fruits. In the mouth it’s a balanced wine, with a smooth passage and a pleasant sensation at the end of the mouth.
Robert Parker | This deep ruby-colored wine has a nose of raspberry jam, cocoa butter, and herbs de Provence. It is bright at first sip, with raspberry, red currant, toffee, milk chocolate, and aniseed flavors. Vivid acidity and luxurious tannins stroll hand in hand to a satisfying finish.
PointsJames Suckling | Fine, plush oak spices with dark chocolate, licorice and bay leaves with fresh blackberries, blueberries and mineral. Structured and tannic on the palate with a full body and a spicy medium-long finish.

Lemon peel, white flowers and light tropical accents all grace this mid-weight, understated Chardonnay from Calera. The 2021 is pure class, not to mention a fabulous wine for the money. Drinking 2023 -2026.

Dom Perignon Champagne Vintage 2013 Gift Box 750ml
Winemaker Description
The delicate nose unfolds in swaths of color. The green of eucalyptus, mint and vetiver, the yellow-orange of mirabelle plums, apricot and orange blossom, the brown of pepper, cardamom and licorice sticks, and finally silvery saline and toasty hues.
The mouthfeel is elegant, expressing luxuriant simplicity and precision. The attack is enveloping and ethereal. The refined and silky foundation becomes more pronounced at the heart. The finish is dominated by a salinity that leaves a deep sensation of consistency.
Expert Reviews
James Suckling | Perfumed with apple, green mangoes, perfume and honeysuckle. Medium-bodied with a creamy and integrated texture and a subtle finish. Bitters. Botanicals. Intense. Drink or hold.
Wine Spectator | Vivid acidity and a chalky underpinning make a crystalline frame for finely detailed notes of ripe melon, mandarin orange, toasted brioche and candied ginger in this harmonious Champagne, which is expressive and expansive on the palate, but with a sense of finesse and restraint. Long and creamy on the mineral-laced finish. Drink now through 2037.
Decanter | Silky, narrowly sculpted and serene, Dom Pérignon 2013 is a less hedonistic release than the 2012 (and less intensely energetic than the 2008), but showcases a beautiful mid-place between tension and expressiveness already. Orange-coloured fruit – apricots, mango and orange – play along with snappy lemon syrup and delicate red fruits, the palate teased into considerable detail and length with some trademark Dom Pérignon smokiness. There is immediate pleasure here, although cellaring will let some of the inner complexity unfurl, revealing this to the among the finest Dom Pérignon releases of recent times. 51% Pinot Noir, 49% Chardonnay.
Points Jasper Morris | Yet another scintillating wine from Dom Perignon. A youthful but complex bouquet: flowery notes of acacia honey emerge from a base of yellow plum. On the palate, the attack is dry and intense; succulent yellow fruit drenched in walnut oil builds on the mid palate. Superb balance! Long, zesty acidity returns to the finish refreshing the palate. Already very approachable with its generous fruit and sapid mouthfeel.
Robert Parker | Disgorged in October last year, the 2013 Dom Pérignon is a lovely wine, defined by the long, cool growing season. Offering up aromas of crisp stone fruit, tangerine oil, buttered toast, pear, almonds and clear honey, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and seamless, bright acids and a pillowy, enveloping profile, concluding with a long, saline finish. Vincent Chaperon recalls that shatter at fruit set moderated yields and that a drying east wind in the weeks before harvest helped to maintain the good sanitation necessary to wait to pick at full maturity.
Aslina Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Stellenbosch Organic Natural 2021 750ml
Expert Reviews
Amy Wislocki of Decanter writes | South Africa's first female black winemaker (her first vintage was 2014), Ntsiki Biyela named her Aslina label after her grandmother. Biyela grew up in KwaZulu-Natal and spent a year as a domestic worker before being offered a scholarship to study winemaking in 1999. She has worked harvests in Bordeaux and Tuscany, and her winemaking philosophy draws on this experience. This accomplished Cabernet contains 15% Petit Verdot, and underwent fermentation in stainless steel before ageing in used oak barrels for 14 months. It's a charming, harmonious wine, with fresh, fragrant black fruits, well-integrated oak and a hint of menthol. Super enjoyable now but will also develop over the next five or so years. — Amy Wislocki
Jancis Robinson 16.5 Points | Made by South Africa’s first female Black winemaker, Ntsiki Biyela, who started her Aslina label, named after her inspirational grandmother, with the 2014 vintage. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot, harvested March 2020. Fermentation in stainless-steel tank and aged 14 months in used oak barrels. RS 3.5 g/l, TA 3.81 g/l, pH 3.6.
Julia Harding MW | Deep crimson. Pure, intense, minty, very slightly leafy, and blackcurrant. Benchmark South African Cabernet. Polished but true Cabernet tannins, deep but not heavy. Highly drinkable and finishes clean and fresh.
