Warehouse stored item - please allow one to three business days to fulfill.
Dornfelder is an extremely popular German red grape that is based on four classic varieties: Lemberger (aka Blaufränkisch), Portugieser, Frühburgunder, and Trollinger. It produces fruity, medium-bodied wines with deep color and good acidity. Made in a medium-sweet, fruit-forward style, its lightly floral aroma and plush flavors of plums and cherries are well balanced by velvety tannins. It has an intense color, lip-smacking flavor, and pairs well with a wide variety of foods.
Woodbridge By Robert Mondavi Red Blend 1.5L MAGNUM
Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Red Blend 1.5L Magnum is a generously proportioned, crowd-pleasing California red that delivers everyday pleasure at a remarkable value. Crafted from a harmonious blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, and Syrah — sourced from sun-drenched California vineyards — this Magnum format is ideal for the table, the cellar, and every occasion in between.
The nose opens with warm, inviting aromas of jammy blackberry, vanilla bean, and baking spices — toasty and approachable from the first pour. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and richly textured, with ripe dark fruit at its core, a gentle sweetness from French and American oak aging, and a long, flavorful finish that lingers with warmth and ease.
Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve vibrant fruitiness, then aged in oak barrels to add depth and complexity, this is a wine that rewards both the casual drinker and the curious enthusiast. Serve slightly cool — around 60°F — after 30 to 60 minutes in the refrigerator for the best expression.
Pairs beautifully with savory burgers, rotisserie chicken, potato skins, and hearty pasta dishes. A generous pour for generous moments.
Vinedos del Contino Contino Rioja Blanco 2020 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2020
Luis Gutierrez writes: The white 2020 Blanco is a little closed, young, clean and tender with subtle oak. They produced a little bit more in 2020, and the wine has less oak and less buttery sensations, a change that started with the 2017 vintage, which seems to have found its style harvesting earlier to retain freshness; it has 13.04% alcohol and a pH @ 3.23 and matured in larger oak containers, 500-liter oak barrels and some concrete for 12 months. It's floral and expressive, a blend of Viura with 20% Garnacha Blanca that they still consider work in progress but moving in the direction they want to go. 16,200 bottles and 100 magnums were filled in March 2022. Drinking 2022 to 2028. - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 93
James Suckling writes: A delicious, creamy white with aromas of apricots, baked peaches, hazelnuts, white chocolate and nougat. It’s medium-to full-bodied with a ripe and creamy palate. Lovely buttery pastry and nougat character, with a fresh finish. Drink now - James Suckling 93
Pedro Ballesteros MW, Sarah Jane Evans MW, Pierre Monsour write: Round and warm on the nose, with fine notes of smoke. A mouth-filling wine that's fresh and expressive. Drinking 2024 to 2027. - Decanter 90
Winemaker Notes
Contino Blanco 2020 shows a very intense nose, marked by its aging in barrel. It is fresh and fruity wine, a true reflection of the identity of our vineyard. San Gregorio offers a Garnacha Blanca with great complexity and volume. The soils are clayey-calcareous, with medium stoniness, key for good drainage.
Blend: 80% Viura, 20% Garnacha Blanca
Chateau Larrivet Haut-Brion Pessac-Leognan 2019 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2019
Lisa Perrotti-Brown of the Wine Advocate writes 92-94+ Points | Opaque purple-black colored, the 2019 Larrivet Haut-Brion charges out of the gate with wonderfully fragrant scents of black raspberries, Morello cherries and wild blueberries with suggestions of blackcurrant pastilles, candied violets, chocolate mint and forest floor. The medium to full-bodied palate is jam-packed with red and black fruit layers, framed by firm, exquisitely ripe, velvety tannins and bold freshness, finishing long and fragrant. Just stunning!.
Winemaker Description
The 2019 vintage was marked by a dry, mild winter. April showers were followed by cool, rainy May and June. The year was also notable for its exceptionally hot summer, with irregular rainfall. A dry, warm September helped to balance out the slow veraison. Harvesting took place from September 19 to October 12.
The 2019 vintage is a blend of three grape varieties, composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 15% Cabernet Franc. This vintage is notable for its brilliant garnet color. The typical nose of this wine is the expression of the Cabernet Sauvignon of our terroir, powerful and deep, releasing notes of black fruit stewed with spices and zan sticks. On the palate, the wine is opulent, sustained by an explosion of black fruits such as blackcurrant and morello cherry. The powerful tannic structure accompanies the gourmand sensation throughout the entire length. 2019 is one of the great Bordeaux vintages of 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Seghesio Family Vineyards, Zinfandel Sonoma County Sustainable 2023 750ml
Seghesio Family Vineyards is one of California's most storied Zinfandel producers, with roots in Sonoma County stretching back to 1895 when Edoardo Seghesio planted his first vines in the Alexander Valley. Over more than 125 years, the family has become synonymous with old-vine Zinfandel of exceptional character — wines that honor the grape's Italian heritage while expressing the full power and personality of Sonoma County's diverse terroir. The estate farms sustainably, with a deep commitment to the land and the community that has shaped the Seghesio name for generations.
The Sonoma County Zinfandel is sourced from a blend of estate and grower vineyards across Sonoma County, drawing on the region's varied soils and microclimates to build complexity and depth. Sonoma County's warm days and cool Pacific-influenced nights create ideal conditions for Zinfandel of ripe, concentrated fruit balanced by natural freshness and structure. The wine is produced under certified sustainable farming practices, reflecting Seghesio's long-standing commitment to responsible viticulture.
Vinification follows Seghesio's classic approach: careful fermentation to extract the full depth of the Zinfandel fruit while preserving the variety's characteristic spice and briar character. The wine is aged in oak to develop structure and complexity before blending and bottling.
The 2023 opens with a complex bouquet of blackberry, black currant, plum, cherry, and baking spice, with notes of raspberry, savory anise, and white pepper. On the palate, the wine is lively and full-flavored, with succulent fruit, supple tannins, and a long, gratifying finish with a characteristic snap of briar and pepper. An old-school Zinfandel loaded with zest and personality.

Villa di Capezzana Barco Reale di Carmignano 2023 750ml
Producer Notes
Villa di Capezzana’s Barco Reale di Carmignano is often called the ‘little brother’ to the estate’s prestigious Carmignano DOCG — offering a more accessible, youthful entry into one of Tuscany’s most historic and unique wine regions. A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Canaiolo. the 2023 is dusty and floral with autumnal spices, cedar shavings, Tuscan dust, and dried strawberries. Soft-textured and supple on the palate with mineral-tinged red berry fruits and a web of fine tannins. Finishes with hints of orange citrus and a tart cherry twang.
Expert Reviews — Vintage 2023
- Wine Enthusiast 92pts | A primarily herbaceous, earthy nose has warm Bing cherry undertones to provide balance. Cherries grow into themselves on the palate, above a latent bitterness of coffee and bergamot. Acidity is fierce, and tannins clear the mouth, but dynamism doesn't come at the expense of coherence.
- Vinous Media 91 pts | The 2023 Barco Reale is a total pleasure to the senses, as crushed cherries and wild berries mix with sweet sage and spice. It possesses a pretty inner sweetness offset by crisp mineral tones and a steely sensation. Tart blackberries mix with a sour citrus twang as it finishes long and staining yet remarkably fresh. The 2023 Barco Reale is a total pleasure to taste.
Food Pairings
- Bistecca alla Fiorentina or wild boar ragù pasta
- Wood-fired pizza or herb-roasted chicken
- Grilled lamb or pork chops

Lucien Albrecht Rosé Crémant d'Alsace Brut 750ml
Lucien Albrecht Rosé Crémant d’Alsace Brut — Alsace NV
Lucien Albrecht was one of the pioneers who helped legally codify the Crémant d’Alsace appellation, and their Rosé is the wine that Wine Advocate's David Schildknecht calls "more intriguing and distinctive" than almost anything else in the category. Made from 100% Pinot Noir using the traditional méthode traditionnelle, it is a pure expression of the grape — saline, meaty, and herbal notes layered beneath vivid strawberry and raspberry fruit, with a lush palate and an invigorating finish. Two 90-point scores from Wine Enthusiast and James Suckling confirm what the glass already tells you: this is serious sparkling rosé at a price that makes no sense.
The nose is pretty and inviting — fresh strawberry, raspberry, orange blossom, and a discreet hint of sweetness. On the palate, the wine is bright and medium-bodied, with lively mousse, juicy red fruit, and a creamy texture. Rye crumb, red apple, and lemon add complexity, while saline and herbal notes give the mid-palate real character. The finish is dry, long, and clean with a touch of invigorating bitterness.
Wine Enthusiast 90 — "A lovely balance of flavors with the freshness and juiciness of ripe apple. Fine bubbles create resonance on the dry finish." • James Suckling 90 — "Pretty nose of fresh strawberry, raspberry and orange blossom. Very bright on the palate, with a nice interplay of lively mousse with juicy fruit." • Wine Advocate — "More intriguing and distinctive… saline, meaty, and herbal notes add interest to both the nose and a lush palate." — David Schildknecht

Domaine Guy Amiot et Fils Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champsgains 2023 750ml (Offer)
A refined Premier Cru white Burgundy produced from Chardonnay grown in Les Champsgains, a well-exposed vineyard situated in the middle of the Chassagne-Montrachet hillside. Its eastern exposure and clay-limestone soils encourage excellent ripeness while preserving freshness, structure and mineral definition.
The 2023 vintage displays a bright golden color with green reflections. Floral aromas of honeysuckle, carnation and peony are joined by fresh apple, pear and citrus. The palate is rich and creamy, with concentrated orchard fruit, lively acidity and a finely chiseled mineral character.
Elegant yet intense, the wine finishes dry and persistent, with citrus zest, subtle herbal nuances and a restrained austerity that should soften and gain complexity with bottle age.
Critical Acclaim
Allen Meadows, Burghound: 88–91 Points “A more citrus-suffused nose freely reveals its combination of apple, pear and herbal tea nuances. There is outstanding intensity, if barely average density, to the utterly delicious flavors that conclude in a chiseled, moderately austere and impressively persistent finish that could also use more depth.”

Familie Rauen Maximin Riesling Spatlese 2024 750ml
Our Professional Review
Rand Sieger, 67Wine Buyer, writes: Only 7.5% alcohol. This is about as good as a Mosel Riesling under $20 can be. Rarely do you find a Spätlese of this quality for such a low price. Classic Mosel with bright white currant fruit, clover honey, and an energetic undercurrent of lime zest and slaty minerality. It really explodes on the palate with juicy, mouthwatering fruit and the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.
Try this paired with breaded, deep-fried button mushrooms dipped in tartar sauce. The combination will make you smile.
Winemaker Description
The Rauen family in the Mosel has been growing grapes for many generations but began bottling their own wine only in 1983. When Harald Rauen took the reins from his father more than 30 years ago, the first thing he did with their vineyards in the slate-rich soils of Detzem and Thornich was to reduce yields to concentrate on quality over bulk. The result is a line of classically clean and elegant Rieslings. His Spätlese is light-bodied and zesty, just a touch sweet, with notes of apricot, lime, and flint.

- Appellation: Mosel, Germany
- Grape: Riesling
- Style: Spätlese (off-dry)

The term “Trotamundos” translates to “globetrotter,” and their winemaking philosophy centers on creating wines with a global perspective, incorporating what they have learned while traveling throughout the wine world to craft unique expressions.
I recently tasted the Trotamundos Pinot Noir Single Vineyard Leyda Valley 2023 and was extremely pleased with its quality and value. This is a Pinot Noir that delivers exceptional drinkability without compromising quality. Sourced from the cool climate of Chile’s Leyda Valley, it showcases bright aromas and flavors of wild red berries—raspberries and strawberries—with a subtle hint of blue fruit as well.
On the palate, the wine is well structured, with vibrant red berry fruit, well-integrated acidity, and mild tannins that lead to effortless drinkability. A stony minerality adds depth and naturally complements the fruit profile. The finish is clean and refreshing, with bright, palate-cleansing acidity.
This wine is very food-friendly. I suggest pairing it with Latin-inspired dishes, grilled skirt steak, or crab-stuffed cannelloni.

Memo Summary Notes
The Trotamundos Pinot Noir Single Vineyard 2023 is a cool-climate red from Chile’s Leyda Valley, a region highly regarded for producing elegant, coastal-influenced wines. This particular label is a collaboration between winemakers César Baeza and Miguel Besoaín.
The Leyda Valley is situated just 12km from the Pacific Ocean. The 2023 season benefited from the Humboldt Current, which provides cool sea breezes and morning mists. This ensures a slow ripening process, allowing the Pinot Noir grapes to maintain high natural acidity and develop complex aromatic profiles
This wine’s balance of fruit and earthiness makes it quite versatile:
-
Poultry: Roasted chicken with herbs de Provence or duck breast.
-
Vegetarian: Mushroom risotto or earthy lentil stews.
-
Seafood: Grilled salmon or seared tuna, thanks to its bright acidity.

Silverado Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Grown 2023 750ml
Silverado Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Grown — Napa Valley 2023
Silverado Vineyards is one of Napa Valley’s most storied estates — founded in 1981 by Ron and Diane Miller and her mother, Lillian Disney, on historic vineyard sites in the Stags Leap District that had been planted to Cabernet as far back as the 1960s. For years, the family sold their fruit to neighboring wineries building global reputations for excellence. Then they decided it was time to make their own wines — their own expressions of the Napa Valley they loved. Today, under the ownership of Foley Family Wines and the leadership of Courtney Foley, Silverado continues that legacy with over 300 acres planted across some of Napa’s most celebrated AVAs: Stags Leap District, Yountville, Coombsville, Carneros, and Napa Valley proper. The Estate Grown Cabernet is their benchmark expression — a wine that has earned over 40 scores of 90 points or higher from the world’s top critics. The 2023 earned 93 points from Wine Spectator.
The color is a deep, concentrated ruby. The nose is soft and supple: black currants, dark chocolate, black olives, potpourri, and graphite — classic Stags Leap District aromatics with elegance and precision. On the palate, it is smooth and textural, with firmly framed tannins, bright acidity, and a long, polished finish. The blend is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of the other four Bordeaux varieties, adding complexity and structure. Drink now or cellar with confidence.
