Misguided Spirits Bathhouse John's Well Dressed Gin is inspired by a type of gin that was popular in the era of iniquity and corruption, in the colorful, organized crime-run nightlife scene of Prohibition-era Chicago. The gin popular during the Roaring '20s wiseguys Chicago was actually light on juniper and heavy on lavender, with citrus figuring fairly prominently, also, and some other botanical that gives the final product a bit of racy spiciness.

Misguided Spirits is a collection of service industry veterans providing an employee-owned alternative to global spirits companies. The name comes from terminology used to describe people in earlier times who lived life on their own terms and shaped the world around them by building a community, giving them a voice, a purpose, and a good stiff drink. The mission of the founders to is provide an alternative to sleek ad campaigns and high-priced “craft spirits.” The partners in the company focus on providing support to the bars and restaurants that pour their products.

Old Raj gin has been produced for us since 1972 and is available at 46% and 55% abv. Bottling takes place in Campbeltown. This quality floral gin has a slight yellow tint due to the addition of the saffron. This valuable and rare ingredient is added post distillation.

The premises were in Netherkirkgate in Aberdeen and although the street numbers were changed from time to time the premises were the same and indeed were almost unaltered during their 130 years of trading in Aberdeen.

Nozawa Onsen Village, Kita Shinshu, is located about 90 minutes from Nagano City, in the Japanese Alps of Nagano Prefecture. Nozawa is a small village with a population of 3,600 that attracts skiers from all over the world during the powder snow season. The town gets its name from the famous natural mineral hot springs ‘onsen’, which date to the 8th century and has been a travel destination for Japanese nationals since the Edo period. The Nozawa Onsen Distillery is in the heart of the village, in a renovated canning factory, historically used by villagers for the preservation of both farmed and wild mountain vegetables.

Under the guidance of Head Distiller Isamu Yoneda, Nozawa Onsen Distillery Gins reflect the terroir of this remote village. Proud local traditions and unique festivals continue with a local community deeply protective of its unique culture and heritage.

Sipsmith opened in Chiswick, London in 2009 as the city’s first copper pot distillery in nearly 200 years — a small, principled operation that helped ignite the modern craft gin renaissance. Built around a single copper pot still named Prudence, the distillery was founded on the belief that great gin requires patience, skill, and the finest botanicals. Their London Dry Gin became an instant benchmark.
