The Glenrothes ‘House Style’ is showcased through our 12 year old. All of the flavours come from the balance of different sherry seasoned casks, giving a smooth and lasting sweetness. The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve starts its journey in the finest American white oak ex-bourbon casks. The precious liquid is then split equally with half of the whisky remaining in the American white oak and the remainder transferred to aged Tawny Port pipes from W & J Graham’s vineyard in Portugal. They are then married back together to harmonize the flavors before bottling. Purposefully retained at 46.5% ABV to complement the enticing warm flavors of the Port and the classic taste of The Dalmore creating a whisky which is indulgent, smooth and complex.

Second Maturation in port barrels

Our malt mill, glistening copper mash tun and traditional wooden washbacks form part of a vigorous but carefully attended process. Our elegant copper pot stills distil and re-distil the richest spirit which is then filled into the finest casks and left patiently maturing in our warehouses. Nearly 70% of the flavour in whisky is derived from the cask it has been matured in. Wood’s important, which is why we adopt a ‘no compromise’ approach when choosing our world renowned sherry casks to enrich our whisky. Over the years of extended maturation, these carefully seasoned casks help create the unique richly sherried style that The GlenDronach is famous for.

Tomintoul 10 Years Old is a delicate well-balanced single malt.Gentle and smooth with a medium body, Tomintoul 10 Year Old is a lovely expression from Speyside, Scotland.

The 2023 Dewar's 19 Year Old "The Champions Edition" offering from four-time Master Blender of the Year Stephanie Macleod was created in partnership with the USGA to commemorate the 123rd U.S. Open Championship at The Los Angeles Country Club.

This third iteration of Dewar's 19 Year Old is aged in Red Wine casks from Napa Valley, honoring both the LACC and the terroir of the 2023 championship in California, producing a smooth and complex whisky. Notes of red berries and black cherries resolve into a rich and fruity finish with a hint of nutmeg.

Caol Ila Distillery | 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky | Islay, Scotland

Caol Ila — pronounced "Cull Eela" — is one of Islay's most storied and beloved distilleries, situated on a secret bay on the northeastern shore of the island, overlooking the Sound of Islay toward the Paps of Jura. Founded in 1846, the distillery has long been a cornerstone of Islay whisky culture, its remote location accessible only by sea for much of its history. For over 100 years, small coal-fired "puffers" like the SS Pibroch brought barley, coal, and empty casks to the distillery, returning her whisky to the mainland through the Sound of Islay.

Today, Caol Ila remains true to its heritage. The barley is still malted locally at Port Ellen, and pure spring water still rises from limestone in nearby Loch Nam Ban, falling to the sea at Caol Ila in a clear crystal stream — just as it always has. The result is a whisky of genuine Islay character: peaty and maritime, yet more restrained and elegant than many of its island neighbors.

The 12 Year Old is Caol Ila's signature expression — a beautifully balanced Islay malt that showcases the distillery's distinctive style. The nose is fresh and complex — subdued peat smoke, citric fruitiness, sea salt, and a hint of malt. Created in partnership with Nick Offerman, Lagavulin Offerman Edition 11 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a woody and peaty, fruity and spicy offering. The woody, peaty notes lead from the front, gently tingling the tongue in a cha-cha before fading to reveal a veritable waltz of sweet berry and orchard fruit notes. Aged in a mix of refilled and rejuvenated American Oak barrels, this whisky demands to be served in a traditional whisky glass, neat or with a little water.

Carrying on a 200-year-old tradition of distilling excellence, the Lagavulin distillery is said to be one of the oldest distilleries on Islay. Founded in 1816 by farmer John Johnston and later led by Peter Mackie in 1890, the name Lagavulin was to become the last word on the delicacy of Islay malts. Miles and miles of peat bog in the west of the island provide the raw material which imbues the barley with their iconic smoky flavor, and the rich peaty water from the tranquil Lochan Sholum in the hills above the distillery makes the flavors so unique. It takes time, but patience is their finest virtue and rushing good whisky is just not how they take care of things in Islay.

Old Raj gin has been produced for us since 1972 and is available at 46% and 55% abv. Bottling takes place in Campbeltown. This quality floral gin has a slight yellow tint due to the addition of the saffron. This valuable and rare ingredient is added post distillation.

• The firm of William Cadenhead Limited, Wine and Spirit Merchants, was founded in 1842 and was in the ownership of the same family until it was taken over by the well known Campbeltown firm of J & A Mitchell & Co. Ltd who own Springbank Distillery. The premises were in Netherkirkgate in Aberdeen and although the street numbers were changed from time to time the premises were the same and indeed were almost unaltered during their 130 years of trading in Aberdeen.

Wine Enthusiast 91 Points |  So named for texture is as soft and smooth as a pigs nose, this five-year-old whisky has a bright golden tint and mild notes that balance fruit and sweet vanilla. Add a splash of water to bring out light smokiness and still more vanilla.

The spirit is initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, yielding soft vanilla and honey notes. For its final maturation, the whisky is transferred into casks which have held 30-Year Old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry.

 These casks are exclusively provided to The Dalmore from the renowned Gonzalez Byass bodega and give the whisky its rich, deep chocolate character.

Producer Description 

All five malts from the region’s three distilleries have been used to produce this Blended Malt. An unmistakable Campbeltown whisky: Initial notes of butterscotch, toffee apples and salted caramel give way to reveal more complexity with traditional maritime and spice notes combined with a subtle touch of peat smoke.

Matured in a combination of Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Sherry casks, vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery, Campbeltown. 

Producer Description 

Craigellachie 17 year old shows an evolution of the distillery style, the tropical fruit flavours are developing more exotic characters and there is an underlying sweetness as some cask development begins to show. This is a really special whisky and fun to explore, thinking about where the different flavours are coming from.

Tasting Notes by Advocacy Host Craig: Craigellachie is often referred to as 'The Bad Boy of Speyside,’ and after tasting the 17 it’s not hard to see why. Thanks to the use of traditional worm tub condensers, they produce a heavier and ‘meatier’ style of whisky.
Starting with a combination of sweet vanilla and caramelized apple, the 17 explodes with flavour when a drop of water is added, bursting forth with pineapple, citrus and lightly charred oak. It has a long finish that doesn't overstay its welcome.

Craigellachie was built in 1891 by the experienced whisky team of Peter Mackie and Alexander Edward. They needed a Single Malt as an ingredient for White Horse Blended Scotch, so the distillery was designed to produce a very specific distillery style which the team replicate to this day.

Craigellachie features some very specific production techniques: barley from an oil fired kiln giving more weight, short stills and worm tub condensers to minimise copper contact. The team do 21 mashes per week, have 8 wash backs and 4 copper pot stills.
People always talk about 'sulphur' flavours, which can be distracting. Craigellachie has a roasted brimstone character alongside a meaty quality. Way back in the 1890s Alfred Barnard described ""the chief characteristic of the Craigellachie brand is the pineapple flavour it develops with age"". This tropical fruit style is what makes the brimstone and meat flavours work, achieving a balance that gets beautifully complex in older age statements.

The 18 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky of serious distinction. Once it has spent fifteen years maturing in American white oak casks approximately 30% is transferred into Spanish Oloroso casks to spend a further three years maturing. Then, when both elements have reached 18 years, we blend them back together to create a whisky with a rich bouquet and full, rounded flavour.

For a whisky of this age this expression has maintained, thanks to our delicate floral spirit and fine Oloroso casks, an incredible degree of vibrancy where the raisiny sweetness of the sherry has been toned down by the nuttiness of the American oak.
