Tura Winery is a family estate founded by Vered and Erez Ben-Saadon on 20 square kilometers of land in the village of Bracha, in the Samaria region of the West Bank highlands. Erez, who grew up in Jerusalem and served in the paratroopers, returned to his first love — farming and the land — and together with Vered built one of Israel’s most celebrated boutique wineries from the ground up. François Lurton and his brother Jacques have been producing Chilean wines since 1992, but it was not until 2000 that they found their ideal terroir: 200 hectares in the Lolol area of the Colchagua Valley, where vines had never been cultivated before. The cool, stable climate and disease-free conditions of this high-altitude site — now certified organic by Ecocert — are a paradise for Sauvignon Blanc, producing fruit of exceptional purity and precision.
