100% Cabernet Franc from Halutza Vineyard

Dry red wine . The wine has a full body and soft tannins. Aroma of cherries, plums and red berry fruits alongside mild notes of green pepper and dry herbs coming together nicely and leading to a long finish. The deep, bold purple-red color is reached by roughly filtering the wine, stabilizing and closely supervising that it doesn´t get damaged by oxygen

It will go wonderfully with low-fat meat dishes such as sirloin and filet. In addition, it will go wonderfully with Sainte-Maure cheese or ripe Camembert.

The Judean Hills, where Tzora Vineyards resides, rise sharply from the coastal plain, and exhibit ideal conditions for growing wine grapes. Terraces cling to this rugged area in a multitude of directions as they follow the contours of the steep slopes. Cold winters, sharp temperature drops during the short summer nights and early morning summer mists, as well as variations in soils from rocky limestone outcrops to ones rich in minerals, all contribute to the character, the balance, and the great longevity of the wines. The wines of Tzora reflect the Judean Hills’ unique terroir. In order to achieve this goal, they make wine only from their estate’s fruit, grown in three vineyards, Giv’at Hachalukim, Shoresh and Neve Ilan, each with varying soils and meso-climates. 

The Tzora Shoresh Blanc is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Chardonnay from grapes grown on old terraces of terra-rosa soils with limestone subsoils. The wine is aged sur-lie for 6 months in French oak barriques. Expressive on the nose with aromas of vanilla, tropical fruit and toast. The palate shows a fine sheen layer of spice to complement the exotic fruit notes that are balanced by a round, creamy mouthfeel and lively acidity.

93 Points James Suckling (2022) | Very aromatic with a wide spectrum of fresh fruit salad aromas (plenty of citrus), plus notes of ripe gooseberry and honeysuckle. Wonderfully fresh and vibrant on the medium-bodied palate with zesty and animating acidity. Stacks of fresh herb and citrus zest at the long finish, plus a whiff of smoke.

Winemaker Description

This single-vineyard wine is produced solely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested from Allone Habashan Vineyard, which is located in the central Golan Heights at an elevation of 600 meters (2,000 feet). The vineyard’s basalt soils have high clay content (~40%), resulting in high water-holding capacity. The wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. 

Winemaker Description 

Dalton Fume Blanc is fermented with wild yeast in oak casks and allowed to age for a further four months in barrel. The wine is supple and fruity, with notes of citrus and pineapples subtly balanced with a rich and smoky character from the barrel.

Mevushal. 90 Points James Suckling | Ripe dark berries with hints of dried herbs, tea leaves, black olives and licorice. Full-bodied, plush and opulent with a sweetish, succulent dark fruit character. Deep and lengthy.

Winemaker Description

This intensely inky-colored Cabernet Sauvignon wine is grown in the well-drained, stony and iron-rich soils of the Weir Family Vineyard along the Silverado Trail, one mile south of the famed Stags' Leap appellation and ten yards from the Oak Knoll District, the Valley's newest sub-appellation.

The rich, spicy nose of bakers' chocolate and black cherry complements the brooding and spice-filled black licorice, black cherry, plum and cranberry on the palate. The addition of 10% Cabernet Franc enhances the complexity of the wine, as well as adding to our trademark robust and silky mid-palate. Aged for 19 months in small French and American oak barrels, Hagafen Cabernet Sauvignon will flourish with bottle age.

Israel. A fresh, zesty, bright red blend made from Mourvedre and Grenache Noir with a little Counoise and Syrah. This was the first use of Counoise in Israel. The wine is named after Samuel, Jacques Capsouto’s grandfather and brother. This is a blend exhibiting bright cherry, berry aromas. Mevushal. Grapes are harvested by hand, gently crushed, and soft pressed. A second fermentation at low temperature lasts over two months, and the wine is finished with maturation on yeast lees for three months before bottling.

Israel. 100% Petite Verdot Produced from grapes grown on old vines in the Carmel region. After fermentation and soaking on the skins, the wine aged in French oak barrels for 15 months.

The wine has a deep purple hue and aromas of blackberries, blueberries, licorice and leather. It is full bodied and has a long and well-balanced finish. Pair with lamb based casseroles, and pasta dishes with a mushroom or meat broth base.

This full wine is ready to drink. Matured on fine lees with regular stirring, this wine amazing body and smooth richness that is so important to its balance. 

This Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes (old vines) possesses the cardinal qualities of Burgundy’s best white wines. The grapes selected for this wine come from vines on the Cote d’Or that are more than 20 years old. The predominant white flower and citrus nose leads to notes of honey and dried fruit. The palate is very well balanced, skillfully blending vivacity and roundness.

Mevushal. Israel. The wine is produced under strict controlled conditions from top-quality grapes of the winery, from vineyards in the Upper Galilee and Kiryat Anavim. The final blend combines vigorous wines made in new oak casks after aging an additional six months, with wines which aged in stainless steel vessels.

This combination creates a unique complexity- typical high- quality fruit which emerges from an intense, full body which is then perfected in a bottle.

Israel. The Yarden Merlot Allone Habashan 2016 is the first release from this vineyard. The wine presents a fragrant blend of aromas featuring ripe red and black fruits, flowers, spice, tobacco, orange zest and chocolate.

This attractive single-vineyard wine is full-bodied, flavorful and complex. The wine aged for 18 months in small French oak barrels, of which 70% were new. While ready to enjoy upon release the wine will improve in the bottle over the coming years, and should stay in excellent drinking condition for a decade or more from harvest.

This premium French wine from Chateau Greysac originates from the Medoc region of Bordeaux. It has a characteristic deep purple coloring and medium legs. The aroma is complex and a mix of blueberries, plum, and raspberries blend with a fresh earthiness that dances in the nose.

The wine has a medium body and slightly acidic in structure with strong tannins, with notes of blackberries and licorice.
