For this Albariño, our sommelier Oscar Garcia Moncada sourced from Bodegas Chaves — an estate family that has been farming and making wine in Rías Baixas since the 1950s using only estate-grown grapes, with an attention to detail that is unrivaled in the appellation. Rías Baixas is Galicia’s flagship white wine region, Atlantic-influenced and defined by the salty, mineral character that makes Albariño one of the world’s great food wines. This is a perfect showcase of everything the appellation does best.

The nose is enticing and aromatic: pineapple, passionfruit, and tropical fruit lead the way, with white peach and green apple following. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and beautifully fresh, with bright, crisp acidity, green apple, kiwi, and white peach, and a distinctive saline mineral note on the finish that signals true Atlantic Galicia character. Winemaker Notes

G.D. Vajra’s Barbera d’Alba comes from a wonderful range of estate vineyards in Piedmont. Fermented for an average of 20 days and aged no less than twelve months in respect of the rhythm of nature, it is a fine blend — charming, rich yet forward.

The 2024 vintage exhibits a brilliant purple hue. On the nose, a celebration of freshness: red berry juice, roses, and fresh plums. The palate is crisp and juicy, layering sweet red and black cherries, spices, and fresh dark berries into a vibrant, aromatic finish that defines the vintage.

La Petite Lune is the entry-level expression from Clos des Lunes — a project founded by the owners of Domaine de Chevalier, one of Pessac-Léognan's most celebrated Grand Cru Classé estates, in collaboration with Stéphane Dérenoncourt, widely regarded as one of the top winemakers in France. The vineyards sit a stone's throw from Chevalier's famed plots in Graves, and the wine is built on a special selection of vineyard lots handpicked by Dérenoncourt and vinified by Bernard's team at Domaine de Chevalier. Volpaia is one of the most stunning estates in Italy, located in a fortified medieval village in Radda in Chianti. Because the vineyards are among the highest in the Chianti Classico zone — up to 600 meters — the wines have a cool-climate elegance that sets them apart from the heavier, more muscular Chiantis found in the valleys.

Winemaker Description

The Chianti Classico has a vivid ruby color and a strong nose of fresh red fruit with hints of cherry. A well-structured wine with a fruity finish. The vintage began with a warm winter with little rain. May and June were cold with heavy rains that caused several problems with downy mildew throughout Italy. In July temperatures rose significantly, and the hot, dry summer was followed by late August rains that allowed the grapes to complete ripening beautifully.

With the desire to bring the best of Tuscany to wine lovers worldwide, Ruffino has contributed significantly to the fine image Italian winemaking holds on the international scene today. The Riserva Ducale Tan Label is their benchmark Chianti Classico Riserva — a wine of great complexity that expresses authentic Sangiovese character. Intense aromas of cherry, plum, and violet open the bouquet, fading gracefully into tobacco, chocolate, cinnamon, and spicy black pepper. Full-bodied and powerful on the palate with elegant tannins perfectly supported by good acidity. The finish is long and complex, with sweet tobacco and powerful notes of plum and clove.

Pol Roger is one of Champagne's most storied and beloved houses, founded in Épernay in 1849 and still family-owned today. It is perhaps best known as the preferred Champagne of Sir Winston Churchill — who reportedly consumed 42,000 bottles in his lifetime and kept a standing order at the house until his death. The Brut Réserve is their flagship non-vintage expression: a blend of equal parts Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier drawn from a minimum of three base vintages, aged six months post-disgorgement with a dosage of 8g/L. It is a Champagne of remarkable consistency, elegance, and depth — and one of the great benchmarks of the non-vintage category.

The wine pours a pale gold with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is richly biscuity and complex — steamed rice, fresh pear, Amalfi lemon, citrus blossom, mandarin oil, honeycomb, elderflower, and fresh bread. On the palate, it's creamy and beautifully balanced: medium-to-full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a rich core of red apple, stone fruit, ripe red berries, and grapefruit, lively acidity, and a pillowy mousse that dissolves into a dry, harmonious, honeyed finish. Aromas of ripe rose petals, cranberry, red currant, and subtle herbal notes create an inviting bouquet. On the palate, vibrant red berry fruit meets refreshing acidity, balanced by a fine tannin structure and a touch of classic minerality. Playful yet refined, with a crisp coastal freshness that captures the Atlantic breeze. A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Vermentino, produced and bottled in Sagaponack, New York.
