Castello di Bossi Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Organic 2020 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2020
Antonio Galloni writes: The 2020 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Castello di Bossi is gorgeous. Floral, lifted and quite expressive, the 2020 has a lot to offer. It marries the richness of this southern district with lovely aromatic presence and a good bit of brightness. It's a complete, deeply satisfying wine to drink now and over the next decade or so. The 2020 spent 24 months in 40-50HL casks, an approach that works so well here. Drinking 2024 to 2034. - Vinous 92
Winemaker Description
Deep ruby in color with garnet lights that hint at the wine's extended barrel aging, Castello di Bossi Gran Selezione is explosive in its intensity and yet the wine manages an astounding complexity and finesse. Aromas of rich black cherry and plum integrate well with cedar, sweet cooking spices, chocolate and saddle leather. On the palate the wine is fleshy and dense. The finish achieves great balance and very pronounced length. This is a wine that will age with grace for many years.
Truchard Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Carneros 2022 750ml

Wine Advocate 90 Points | Truchard's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is the best I can recall from this reliable Carneros producer. Black cherries and cassis are joined by hints of vanilla and violets on the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is streamlined and smooth—a linear style with ample concentration and length, focused and fresh, with some slightly herbal notes on the finish.

Alain Graillot Crozes Hermitage ROUGE 2023 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2023
James Suckling 94 Points | A driven, balanced , flavorful, textural and lively Crozes-Hermitage, showing aromas of dark cherries, spiced plums, wild herbs and warm spices. It's medium-bodied with fine tannins. Superb texture and balance here with a long, succulent and vivid finish. Drink or hold.

Medium- to full-bodied and fresh, the 2023 is shaping up to be a delicious red Crozes-Hermitage. A long, defined finish wraps it up.
Winemaker Description
In France’s Northern Rhone Valley, there are few names as revered as Graillot. It was in 1985 that the late, legendary Alain Graillot, who after working with the venerable Jacques Seysses at Domaine Dujac, came back to his home in Crozes-Hermitage to start his own domaine. With each passing year his devotion to the art of making hauntingly delicious Syrah from his organically farmed, stone-laden vineyards, was rewarded with an ever growing and highly dedicated following around the world. Alain’s sons Maxime and Antoine have been in charge since 2008, continuing the legacy set forth by their father. All the work is still completely the same as it ever was: hand-harvesting, organic farming, whole-cluster fermentation, and aging the wines primarily in 1-to-3 year old barrels purchased from some of the top estates in Burgundy.
Felsina Chianti Classico 2021 375ml HALF BOTTLE
Expert Review - Vintage 2021
Antonio Galloni of Vinous writes 92 Points | The 2021 Chianti Classico Berardenga is boisterous and expressive right out of the glass. Dark fruit, earthiness, leather, spice and tobacco convey tons of Castelnuovo Berardenga character. The 2021 keeps getting better in the glass. It's a super-classic example of the house style and a wine readers should consider buying by the case. The Berardenga bottling can be a bit wild, but in 2021 has an added touch of sophistication that is undeniable.
Memo Pairing Suggestions
Best With: Traditional Tuscan dishes like lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, or grilled meats (Bistecca alla Fiorentina).

The 2023 vintage is highly rated for its "classic" Marlborough profile—punchy, aromatic, and incredibly refreshing.
The high acidity and herbal undertones make it a perfect match for:
• Fresh Seafood: Fish tacos with lime, oysters, or pan-fried snapper. Salads: Spinach salad with strawberries and feta, or an herbed goat cheese tart. Aperitif: It is light enough to be enjoyed on its own as a refreshing "backyard" summer wine.

San Felice Il Grigio Chianti Classico Riserva 2021 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2021
The Wine Spectator 93 Points | Offers cherry and plum fruit framed by earth, mineral and wild herb flavors. Poised between elegance and power, this red is beautifully balanced. Dusty tannins support the fruit on the long finish. Best from 2026 through 2042. 26,000 cases made, 4,000 cases imported.
Antonio Galloni of Vinous writes 93 Points | The 2021 Chianti Classico Riserva II Grigio da San Felice is a dark, dense, rather somber wine. Black cherry, leather, tobacco, incense and dried herbs reinforce that initial impression. A Riserva of substance and power, the 2021 has a ton to offer. It's an especially fine edition of II Grigio.
Tamlyn Currin writes: This is utterly scrumptious. It's an arpeggio of sweet, audaciously ripe, red-berried, violet-flushed fruit that soars through the glass. Untrammelled freshness. The fruit is the flautist of the vineyard. Dauntlessly about the fruit but at the same time it's not speciously 'fruity'. It's complex. The tannins are silky but have fine-powdered chalky grip. There is spice, a little liquorice bark and a whisper of leafiness – that sort of green-purple petalled velvetiness of woodland violets. And the purity of fruit fills every molecule of the long finish. Bravo! Drinking 2024 to 2031. - Jancis Robinson 17
Winemaker Description
Deep ruby red. Rich, long-lingering aromas are redolent of violets and wild red berry fruit. Il Grigio is a full-bodied wine, lean and firm, with succulent tannins and a tangy acidity. Ideal when accompanying meat-sauced first courses, roast pigeon, grilled steak.
Flowers Vineyard Chardonnay Sonoma Coast 2024 750ml
Winemaker Description
This Chardonnay is energetic and bright balancing mouthwatering acidity, fresh citrus, and an elegant, finely-woven texture with exceptional purity and precision. Meyer lemon and just-ripe mandarin orange mingle with pithy herbaceous notes and a fine mist of green citrus oil.
On the palate, savory preserved lemon and a hint of spice component with the backbone of persistent acidity. Briny ocean spray minerality lifts the tightly-knot texture, which expands across the mouth for a vibrant finish.
Memo Summary Notes
The Flowers Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2024 continues the winery’s reputation for producing "extreme" coastal wines. Flowers was a pioneer in the "Far Sonoma Coast," and this vintage highlights the signature tension between the cool Pacific influence and the bright California sun.
Pair with Oysters, Dungeness crab, or a roasted chicken with lemon and thyme.
Weingut Brundlmayer Kamptal Terrassen Gruner Veltliner Organic 2024 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2024
James Suckling 92 Points | Citrus, white pears and hints of snow peas on the nose of this juicy and crisp white. It’s medium-bodied, bright and cool, with a light peppery twist at the end. From organically grown grapes.
Winemaker Description
This Grüner Veltliner is a blend of wines sourced from different terraced vineyards. The elevated terraces consist of stonier soils (schisted granite). The vines there show aromatic expression, good acidity, elegant stone fruit and lots of minerals. The lower sited terraces mostly of layered fertile loess show more body and ripeness. By combining those two characteristics you get a really classic Grüner Veltliner with both finesse and a certain vigor.

Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste Pauillac 2021 750ml
The Wine Advocate 94 Points | The 2021 Grand-Puy-Lacoste is one of the vintage's successes, wafting from the glass with aromas of cassis and raspberries mingled with notions of violets, rose petals, pencil shavings and cigar wrapper. Medium to full-bodied, with a deep, layered core of pure fruit framed by ripe acids and sweet tannins, its suave, charming profile means that it will offer a broad drinking window. A slightly lower percentage of new oak, with lighter toasts, is reflected in better barrel integration out of the gates.

Plum, dried herbs, menthol and spice gradually emerge. Although the 2021 is a bit tight today, it comes across as more of a medium-term proposition.

Belle Glos Pinot Noir BALADE Single Survey Arroyo Seco Monterey County 2022 750ml

Echo de Lynch Bages 2nd Label of Chateau Lynch Bages Pauillac 2022 750ml
Expert Ratings - Vintage 2022
The Wine Advocate 96 Points | One of the vintage's most powerful, muscular wines is the 2022 Lynch-Bages, a full-bodied, broad-shouldered Pauillac that unfurls in the glass with aromas of cassis, cherries, mint, pencil shavings and petroleum jelly, framed by nicely integrated new oak. Liberally extracted, its deep core of fruit is underpinned by an imposing chassis of rich, powdery tannin and lively acids. Always rather forbidding from barrel, Lynch Bages always seems to come together in bottle, and the 2022 has the makings of another success for this address.
Jeb Dunnuck 94 Points | The second wine of Lynch Bages is the 2022 Echo De Lynch-Bages, a ripe, medium to full-bodied, structured beauty with a kiss of classic Lynch Bages richness and depth. Cassis, black raspberries, graphite, dried flowers, and hints of chocolate all define the aromatics, and it has ripe, fine tannins, good mid-palate depth, and outstanding length.

Well balanced, gorgeous texture, depth and characterful. A great second wine still with terroir markers, a salty finish, chalky texture and grippy tannins. Still concentrated and serious, there’s an intensity to the fruit but really well delivered. Will be a beauty.

Day Wines Pinot Noir Johan Vineyard Van Duzer Corridor 2021 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2021
93 Points The Wine Enthusiast by Michael Alberty | Made with certified biodynamic fruit from Johan Vineyard, the wine opens up with a beautiful perfume of dried rose petals, jasmine, lavender and boysenberries. Firm tannins and electric fence acidity corral flavors of tart cherries, blood orange segments and balsa wood. Enjoy now until 2036.
James Suckling 93 Points | Crisp and bright, this Oregon pinot has stacks of sour cherry fruit with a touch of half-ripe strawberries. That fits well with the restrained, moderately dry tannins and the lively acidity that stays this light on its feet on the medium-bodied palate. Long, positively grainy finish.
94 Points Decanter, Clive Pursehouse: Well done, indeed. From the Demeter-certified biodynamic site in the Willamette Valley, south of McMinnville, Johan Vineyard comes a classically Oregon Pinot Noir. Rich umami-driven aromas of turned earth, smoky violets, and ripe stewed strawberries are lifted by notes of evergreen tips and mint. The palate shows fresh red and black bramble fruits, a touch of grip, savory chicory root, and a finish that shows black tea and wild anise.
Vinous 90 Points | The 2021 Pinot Noir Johan Vineyard is nuanced and delicate in the glass, wafting up with hints of dried black cherries, sage and dusty rose. This is cool-toned and racy within, with sleek textures and ripe red berry fruits that swirl across a stream of lively acidity. It finishes on a savory note, leaving saline minerals and darkening hints of brown spice to linger through the medium-length finale.
Winemaker Notes
Johan Vineyard is an 85-acre, Demeter-certified biodynamic site in the Willamette Valley, south of McMinnville and west of Salem. This site is almost always our last Pinot pick of harvest. Although it's a relatively low-elevation site, due to its proximity to the coast and the winds that howl through the Van Duzer Corridor every summer afternoon, the fruit here tends to ripen later than in our other vineyards. It is primarily marine sediment soils, and the benefit of biodynamic farming is completely apparent when one stands in this healthy and alive place. Our Johan Pinot Noir always displays a lovely, deep red berry core allied to a beguiling spice component that makes for a classic southern Willamette profile. The tannins and acids in this wine are typically strident in their youth, indicating a long and fulfilling life in the cellar.

Ruggeri Prosecco Treviso Brut Rose Millesimato Argeo 2023 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2023
The Wine Enthusiast 93 Points | With its soft pink hue and inviting berryscented bouquet, this Prosecco rosé is a charmer. The palate is awash with succulent cherry, wild strawberry and a subtle hint of pomegranate. The finish is crisp and refreshing, making it an ideal aperitivo or a surprising addition to tacos or burgers.
Winemaker Description
Argeo Prosecco Rosé has a soft pink color reminiscent of peach flowers with an abundant foam and lively, fine perlage. On the nose the typical aromatic notes of the Glera grapes are enriched with very delicate and fresh scents of brambly fruits such as red currants and raspberries. The bouquet of white flowers and berry fruits is enveloped by a very pleasant balsamic note of fresh rosemary leaves. On the palate every sip is bursting with life, with the freshness of flavor and full-bodied structure typical of Pinot Noir. The finish is long, elegant, complex, silky and harmonious, perfectly matching the aromas.

Vasse Felix Filius Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 750ml

Wine Enthusiast 96 Points | A fabulous vintage of Filius, and a total bargain for this level of quality. Layered aromas appear from first sniff: plump currants and plums, dark chocolate, savory herbs and florals, graphite and a mineral, iodine-like nuance. In the mouth, there's bright fruit and silky texture, with savory, fine tannins and a long, elegant finish. Made to drink now or to age for several more years. A wonderful intro to this distinctive Aussie style.
Chateau Bernadotte Haut Medoc Cru Bourgeois 2018 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2018
James Suckling 91 Points | Blackcurrants, black olives and dried herbs with some smoked-meat and charred-wood character. It’s medium-bodied with firm, fine-grained tannins. Focused and flavorful. Lightly chewy. Better from 2024.
Vinous 90 Points | The 2018 Bernadotte is a flamboyant, unctuous Haut-Medoc that is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Inky, jammy dark fruit, mocha and sweet spice envelope the palate in a racy, expressive everyday red that delivers the goods. The 2018 is 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot.
The Wine Enthusiast 90 Points | Named after the royal family of Sweden, this estate is now producing wines worthy of the pedigree. This latest release is rich and balanced, offering black fruits dominated by Merlot and bold tannins. It is a powerful wine that will take time. Drink from 2024.
Memo Summary Notes
The Château Bernadotte Haut-Médoc 2018 is a classic "Cru Bourgeois" from the Left Bank of Bordeaux. It’s a favorite among savvy collectors because its vineyards sit on the border of the prestigious Pauillac appellation—meaning you get a touch of that famous "Pauillac power" (tobacco, cedar, and graphite).

Patricia Green Cellars Reserve Pinot Noir 2024 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2024
The Wine Advocate 92 Points | The 2024 Pinot Noir Reserve, which contains fruit from many of the single vineyards in the Patricia Green portfolio, is elegant and energetic. It boasts pure, detailed aromas of red cherry, blackberry, bergamot, anise and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate is detailed and spicy with silky tannins, vibrant acidity that lures you back to the glass and a long, nuanced finish.
Winemaker Description
The 2024 Willamette Valley Reserve Pinot Noir is, as always, a great indicator of what to expect from Patricia Green Cellars’ wines from the vintage. In this vintage’s case it is even more than that. This wine has flavor intensity, texture, complexity, structure and length that are usually impossible to find in this combination in a Pinot Noir at this price point because wineries generally don’t have this much incredible old vine wine available to not only supplement their entry-level Pinot Noir, but be the actual backbone of it. This is red-fruited, highly perfumed Pinot Noir with the sort of high-level texture and length that are normally found in wines of double the price and more. This is utterly delicious now but will be a rare bottling at this level that would age easily for over a decade.
This bottling comes from terrific sources. The Reserve has always been a wine that looked to excellent and renowned vineyards for its make-up. The 2024 has an excellent and a completely unique pedigree, as noted above, for a wine at its pricing. For instance, nearly 16% of this bottling comes from fruit off of Hyland Vineyard. Our Hyland Vineyard, Coury Clone Pinot Noir bottling retails at $75/bottle. All of the barrels in the Reserve from Hyland easily could have gone into the Hyland Vineyard bottling had we chosen to make that much of that wine.
This wine carries the breadth of the winery in other ways as well. From completely destemmed grapes to 100% whole cluster fermentations, all winemaking stylistic decisions are represented within this bottling. The level of vineyards in this wine has always been something else and this year that facet is concentrated to an incredible degree. The 9 vineyards that make up this bottling would all be most winery’s best vineyard. Over 77 barrels of the 178 total barrels come from vine planted between 1972-1983. That’s 42–53-year-old vines in a $30-ish bottle of Pinot Noir. That is essentially unheard of in this day and age. 2024 Reserve Pinot Noir is nothing BUT a pedigree monster!
As noted earlier, the 2024 vintage is simply a great vintage. Possibly as great as the 2023 which we have touted as the greatest in the 25-vintage history of the winery. All the 2024s are particularly richly red-fruited, intense, deep and delicious at early ages in this vintage. Perfect for a bottling that values consumption at a youthful age even if it possesses unusual aging capacity for an Oregon Pinot Noir at this price.
This winery has always been dedicated to the concept of the highest-level quality without necessarily attaching a corresponding price point. Patty and I always wanted to have a winery that made wines that we liked to drink, but more importantly a winery that had wines we would, were we the customer, feel good about paying for. This Reserve Pinot Noir is as an important bottling to us and this winery as the lowest production, super-fancy, and exclusive wine that we make. Lots of people see, buy, and drink this wine and that is something that we love.
