The 2024 is brilliantly transparent with the colour of light spun gold. The nose is a heady and rich creamy tropical fruit and mixed citrus without being overbearing. There’s an inviting freshness to it with soft minerals and subtle spices. I could drink this wine every day, and I don’t drink my own wines, typically. It’s mouthwatering with seamless structure. It is fine and balanced. The finish is long, with silk drape. This is a very small bottling from three barrels, but I plan to increase it to six barrels in 2026.

The 2023 Robert Craig Winery La Fleur Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits deep, saturated color along with spicy, black fruit up front and a sturdy backbone of mineral and tannin. A significant amount of time in new French Oak barrels have rounded out the edges of this young Cabernet and given it a suppleness and integration that can’t be found with less expensive American oak or the dreaded barrel stave flavor treatment.
The 2023 Robert Craig "La Fleur Craig" Cabernet Sauvignon is a distinct, multi-appellation blend designed to offer Robert Craig’s signature mountain-grown quality at a more accessible price point.

The 2023 Château Saint-André Corbin is a high-value Bordeaux red from Saint-Georges-Saint-Émilion, the smallest of the "satellite" appellations of Saint-Émilion. This vintage continues the estate’s reputation for producing "Right Bank" wines that punch well above their price point.

Vinous 90 Points | The 2020 Citran is fortunately showing less reduction on the nose than it did from barrel, revealing blackberry and briary scents, touches of graphite and pressed iris flower. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins. Moderate depth, filling out nicely towards the finish. This is a fresh and tensile Citran that should age well over the next 15-20 years.
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points | Red and black fruits, spice, saddle leather, and tobacco leaf notes all emerge from the 2020 Château Citran, a rock-solid, medium-bodied, balanced Haut-Médoc. It has the pure, focused, nicely structured style of the vintage and is going to evolve for 15 years or more.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc
The 2020 Château Citran is a "rock-solid" representative of the Haut-Médoc, benefiting significantly from what many critics consider a legendary Bordeaux vintage. Historically one of the oldest estates in the Médoc, Citran is known for delivering classic, structured Left Bank profiles without the "Grand Cru" price tag.
Château Citran is currently owned by the Merlaut family (who also own the famed Chasse-Spleen). Their expertise in the Haut-Médoc shows through in the 2020—it offers the "saddle leather" and "cedar wood" complexity usually reserved for much more expensive bottles from nearby Margaux.
Pairing: This is a classic "meat and potatoes" wine. It pairs exceptionally well with grilled steak, lamb chops, or a hearty mushroom stew.
The Gush Etzion Blessed Valley Chardonnay Special Reserve has an intense aroma which gives off a scent of citrus blossoms, jasmine and ginger, alongside the smell of seasoned nuts which comes from the barrels. Medium-bodied, thick and rich but at the same time crisp and acidic.
Psagot’s Chardonnay grapes are harvested from vineyards in the northern Jerusalem Mountains at 750 meters elevation, planted directly into terraced soft limestone bedrock — a terroir that imparts the wine’s signature minerality and crisp acidity. The wine exudes aromas and flavors of pear, green apple, and tropical fruit, with a mellow oak influence that keeps it elegant and food-friendly.
Yaakov Berg — initially trained as a lawyer — followed his father’s passion for wine, spending time in wineries across Australia and New Zealand before founding Psagot in 2003. The name means “peak” or “summit” in Hebrew, a fitting tribute to the winery’s high-altitude Jerusalem Mountains home.
During construction, Yaakov discovered a small cave beneath the winery. Excavation revealed it dated to the Second Temple period and had been used for winemaking — an ancient wine press and period coins were found inside. One of those coins is reproduced on every bottle of Psagot wine, connecting each glass to over two thousand years of winemaking history on this land.
The “M” in M Series denotes that this wine is Mevushal — flash-pasteurized under strict kosher supervision — making it suitable for a wider range of kosher catering, restaurant, and event settings where non-Mevushal wines cannot be served. Full kosher certification; suitable for Passover.

One of the best Le Marquis in recent years.

A little tight but this also has an ease about it with density to the grippy tannins that have a fruity, fleshy aspect to them as well as a clear wet stone, slate minerality that lingers on the tongue. Winemaker Description | Blended exclusively from our single vineyard sites, Circle of Fifths captures the strengths of these vineyards in one wine – carefully crafted and fine-tuned over myriad blending sessions. These wines were getting lost in the regional expression, and with the Fifths, these sites come together to tell a new story.
The 2024 vintage was a more classic Yarra season. A cool start to Spring and ideal flowering conditions led to good fruit set and moderate yields. December was cool and mild, with significant rainfall at New Years and during the first week of January, giving the vines a good drink leading into the heat of February. Mid to late February was drier and warmer than is common in the Yarra, leading to great ripening conditions with no disease pressure and quite a fast vintage. In 2024, all of our Pinot and Chardonnay was ready in quick succession, leading to a compressed harvest - with the whole valley picked in the space of 3 weeks (where it normally spreads across 6 weeks). An exciting ride for our team, but ultimately giving us wines with great flavour, bright acidity and balance.
The Giant Steps "Circle of Fifths" Chardonnay 2024 is an inaugural, high-profile release from one of Australia's most acclaimed cool-climate producers. Recently named the 2025 Halliday Winery of the Year, Giant Steps created this "Circle of Fifths" series as a premium bridge between their regional blends and their specific single-vineyard bottlings.
The name is a musical reference to John Coltrane’s jazz theories, symbolizing the "harmony" created by blending fruit from all five of their estate single vineyards: Sexton, Tarraford, Applejack, Primavera, and Bastard Hill.
Decanter 93 Points | Sercial is not the easiest grape to appreciate but this amber-coloured wine has lovely, lifted savoury-nutty aromas and clean spicy flavours with characteristic acidity. Text book Sercial: a wonderful aperitif or try a glass to accompany sushi and sashimi.
The Wine Enthusiast 92 Points | As warmer weather approaches, this is a wine that should immediately come to mind at aperitif time. This bone-dry style, with its inimitable nutty character, is so fresh, so vibrant. It has some tannins, enlivening acidity giving a great lift at the end. Bring on the freshly salted, roasted almonds.
James Suckling 91 Points | A dry and angular sercial with sea breeze and subtle hazelnuts on the nose. The palate is lovely and angular, with lots of freshness, dry fruit and a nervy, saline finish.
John Gilman 90 Points | Blandy’s Ten Year-Old Sercial is quite light in color, with a distinctive golden tinge to this amber wine. The complex bouquet is bright and nicely high-toned, wafting from the glass in a mix of orange peel, dried apples, cardamom-like spice tones, salty soil, a dollop of green olive and a gently smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is full-bdoied, crisp and quite seamless in its balance, with a fine core, impressive complexity and excellent length and grip on the focused and very classy finish. Fine juice.
Blandy's 10 Year Old Sercial Madeira is the "electric" sibling to the Rainwater style you previously looked at. Sercial is the driest of the four noble Madeira grapes, and this 10-year expression is a benchmark for high-acid, savory fortified wines.
While Rainwater is approachable and medium-dry, the Sercial is "bone dry" and focused, making it a favorite for wine enthusiasts who love high tension and mineral complexity.
Unlike sweeter Madeiras, Sercial should be served well-chilled (10–12°C). This highlights its acidity and makes it incredibly refreshing.
The Wine Enthusiast by Joe Czerwinski writes 92 Points | Dark amber in color, this example of classic Muscat is wonderfully balanced between the freshness of youth and the power and complexity of age. We affectionately call this the ‘Goldilocks’ tier—it’s just right! Our Classic Muscat is a perfect blend of fresh and older Muscat parcels, this wine offers the best of both worlds. It showcases vibrant, fresh fruit flavours alongside the deeper, richer complexity that comes with extended time in oak.
With notes of Turkish Delight, raisins, walnuts, and dense fruit cake, this tier has a much greater richness and complexity than the Rutherglen tier, hinting at the mature wood-aged characters that will continue to develop as it ages. It’s the ideal middle ground for those who want a balance of youthful fruit and the beginnings of that beautiful, layered depth Muscat is known for.
