Judean Hills Tzora Vineyards Judean Hills Blanc Kosher 2024 750ml

Winemaker Description

The Judean Hills Blanc reflects the character and quality of the vineyards, located in the ancient region of Judean Hills. The color on this wine is a light gold, its not a deep color but its a pretty light gold.

The aromas are really nice, citrusy, melony, gooseberries, but also some yellow pear and green apple. There are lots going on fruit wise on the nose which makes it a really nice, medium to full bodied wine.

The acid comes on in the mid palate with more citrus in the mouth and a big acid on the finish. This wine is still going strong. It has a fairly long finish for a white wine, with some nice residual acid and melon flavor on the back.

The wine is super enjoyable with its fairly big white wine flavors. It drinks beautifully today and will keep developing in the bottle during the next 2-3 years.

Hess Select Chardonnay Monterey County 2024 750ml

Hess Select Chardonnay Monterey County 2024 — Monterey County, California

Hess Collection is one of California’s most respected family-owned wineries, with estates spanning Napa Valley and beyond. Hess Select is their approachable everyday label — crafted with the same attention to quality as their flagship wines but designed for the table. This Monterey County Chardonnay draws from one of California’s premier cool-climate appellations, where Pacific breezes off Monterey Bay preserve natural acidity and allow grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, producing Chardonnay of genuine character at an honest price.

A thoughtful blend of 70% stainless steel and 30% French oak fermentation keeps the wine fresh and bright while adding a touch of richness. The nose opens with aromas of grilled pineapple, star fruit, and vanilla, leading to a medium-bodied palate of sliced peach and golden apple, with a touch of crème brûlée on the finish — clean, balanced, and crowd-pleasing.

70% stainless, 30% French oak — Monterey freshness with just enough richness to satisfy.
  • Producer: Hess Collection (Hess Select), Napa Valley, California
  • Vintage: 2024
  • Appellation: Monterey County
  • Varietal: Chardonnay
  • Fermentation: 70% stainless steel, 30% French oak

  • Best Paired With: Roast chicken, grilled halibut, lobster mac and cheese, creamy pasta, Brie, aged cheddar, goat cheese

William Fevre Chablis 1er Cru Montmains 2023 750ml (Introductory Offer)

Mineral · Fresh · Elegant · Precise · Persistent

A beautifully structured Premier Cru Chablis with orchard fruit, floral lift and classic mineral tension.

Domaine William Fèvre’s Chablis 1er Cru Montmains 2023 is a refined expression of one of Chablis’ most respected Premier Cru vineyards. Montmains is known for producing wines with excellent freshness, firm mineral structure and the ability to develop beautifully with time.

Under longtime winemaker Didier Séguier, William Fèvre brings together fruit from multiple parcels across Montmains, including sections of Forêts and Butteaux. The result is a wine that combines the vineyard’s characteristic restraint and mineral grip with impressive depth, elegance and persistence. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

The 2023 vintage opens with delicate aromas of white blossom, freshly cut golden apple and subtle brioche, joined by notes of green apple, gooseberry, acacia flower and gentle spice.

On the palate, the wine is lively, fresh and beautifully balanced. Bright orchard fruit is carried by crisp acidity, while a firm mineral backbone adds structure and definition. There is excellent substance beneath the freshness, giving the wine both immediate appeal and the potential to develop additional complexity in the cellar.

The finish is long, precise and persistent, with a cool mineral character and subtle saline quality that are unmistakably Chablis.

Food Pairing

Pair with oysters, scallops, crab, lobster and grilled white fish, as well as roast chicken, veal, creamy seafood dishes and fresh goat cheese. Its combination of freshness and structure also makes it an excellent partner for dishes finished with light butter or cream sauces.

Serve lightly chilled to allow the wine’s floral aromas, orchard fruit and mineral complexity to fully emerge.

Professional Ratings

95 Decanter Magazine: In the hands of Fèvre winemaker Didier Séguier, premier cru Montmains has a certain initial reserve. But with time, the green apple and gooseberry notes, touched with acacia blossoms and spice, open up on the palate. The texture is lively and fresh, yet there is substance here as well. The grapes are assembled from 10 parcels throughout Montmains, including some in Forêts and Butteaux. Séguier explains that Butteaux is deep in the valley and further from the Serein so it ripens later. The grapes are fermented in tank and older casks for 40–50% of the harvest.

94 Jasper Morris: Assembled earlier today, so cloudy and this procedure also masks the nose. Classic Montmains behind, with the usual reductive grip, yet also some elegance, very persistent. The lees were first class, says Didier Seguier and this certainly has the makings of a first class Montmains. Barrel sample: 91-94

94 Wine Enthusiast: Delicate aromas of white blossom, brioche, freshly cut golden apple, and dried grass draw in the nose with feathery opulence. The palate is rich with citrusy acidity that plays second fiddle to fall-rip- ened orchard fruit that washes across wet stone on the finish. Editor’s Choice.

93 James Suckling: Lovely elegance with a chalky, marine-like character to the nose, along with lime and minerals. Medium weight, with chalky notes and some white fruit leading to a pithy, lightly salty, bitter finish. Very attractive.

92 Wine Spectator: There’s a sleek feel to this white despite its rich texture, revealing lemon, apple and flint flavors, plus a hint of honey. Harmonious and enticing, this ends with citrus and stone elements. Shows fine expression and length.

The Style

Fresh, elegant and mineral-driven — a classic Premier Cru Chablis with beautiful tension, depth and a long, precise finish.

La Rioja Alta Rioja Vina ALBERDI RESERVA Seleccion Especial 2021 750ml

La Rioja Alta Viña Alberdi Reserva Selección Especial — Rioja Alta 2021

Viña Alberdi is the entry-level Reserva of La Rioja Alta — and the 2021 vintage is something genuinely extraordinary. This is only the second vintage in the wine’s history to receive the designation “Selección Especial”; the first was the legendary 2001. Sourced from 40-year-old Tempranillo vines in Rodezno and Labastida, harvested manually in boxes with cluster selection in the vineyard, and aged two years in American oak — new barrels the first year, four-year-old barrels the second — with four traditional rackings by candlelight. Wine Advocate awarded it 94 points. Vinous gave it 92. Wine Spectator 91.

Intense, brilliant garnet with a vivid ruby rim. The nose is high-intensity and expressive: raspberries, wild strawberries, redcurrants, wrapped in balsamic aromas of caramel, vanilla, toffee, and roasted coffee. On the palate, it is long, balanced, and fresh, with fine, silky tannins, terrific energy, and a long finish where red fruit and balsamic notes reappear with remarkable precision. Drink now through 2036.

Expert Reviews - Vintage 2021

Wine Advocate 94 — “Without a doubt, this is the finest Alberdi I can remember… very classical and very clean, showing incipient complexity. It has terrific balance and freshness and pungent, focused and precise flavors.”
Vinous 92 — “Marks only the second Selección Especial since 2001… its vintage quality shows clearly, lending energy and length to a very classical Rioja.”
Wine Spectator 91 — “A harmonious red, round and creamy, with a pure beam of ripe black cherry fruit married to supple tannins and accents of graphite, spice box and dark chocolate.”
Oscar Garcia, Wine Buyer, 67Wine — “One of the most classic and historic producers in all of Rioja. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins and ripe red fruit flavors. Beautiful finish with a lively acidity.”

Isole e Olena Chianti Classico Tuscany Italy 2022 750ml

Isole e Olena Chianti Classico — Tuscany 2022

Isole e Olena is one of Chianti Classico’s most storied estates, born from the union of two medieval villages in the heart of the appellation. Founded in 1956 by Francesco De Marchi and shaped into a benchmark producer by his son Paolo, the estate has long been synonymous with authentic, terroir-driven Sangiovese. In 2022, the De Marchi family passed the baton to Christopher Descours, whose team — led by longtime estate director Emanuele Reolon — continues the same mission: to give voice to an extraordinary region through wines of superb character. The 2022 vintage earned 93 points from James Suckling and 92 from both Wine Advocate and Vinous.

A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo, the nose is layered and expressive: bright red cherries, dried cherries, sweet violets, licorice, and a hint of Tuscan rosemary and laurel leaf. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and supple — silky tannins frame a core of bright red fruit, rose petal, cinnamon, and blood orange, with a crunchy, refreshing finish. Vibrant, lively, and unmistakably Chianti Classico.

🇮🇹 James Suckling 93 — “A layered wine with bright red cherries, dried cherries, sweet violets and a lot of licorice on the nose. Medium-bodied and very supple and refreshing on the palate.” (Vintage 2022).
🇮🇹 Wine Advocate 92 — “Soft fruit and cherry with light spice and a hint of Tuscany rosemary or laurel leaf. Vibrant and lively quality of fruit in a vintage that also delivers ample ripeness.” (Vintage 2022).
🇮🇹 Vinous 92 — “An elegant, gracious wine. Silky tannins frame a core of bright red-toned fruit, rose petal, cinnamon and blood orange.” (Vintage 2022).
  • Producer: Isole e Olena, Chianti Classico, Tuscany, Italy
  • Vintage: 2022
  • Appellation: Chianti Classico DOCG

Michel Sarrazin et Fils Givry Sous la Roche 2023 750ml

Michel Sarrazin et Fils Givry Clos de la Roche 2023 750ml

Michel Sarrazin et Fils is a benchmark family domaine in Givry, one of the Côte Chalonnaise's most exciting appellations for Pinot Noir. The Clos de la Roche is a prized lieu-dit on the northern edge of Givry — a single-site wine grown at over 250 meters altitude on limestone-heavy soils with clay, farmed with organic practices and harvested from vines over 45 years old. This is serious Burgundy at a price that still makes sense.

The 2023 is a standout vintage for the domaine — round, juicy, and harmonious, with the kind of sappy fruit and supple structure that makes it equally compelling now or in the cellar. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, de-stemmed, and aged in barrel with 50% new oak, it delivers the full Givry terroir experience in every glass.

"Round and juicy with aromas of plums, cherries, black raspberries, violets and peppery spice on the nose. Well balanced and harmonious in the mouth with sappy fruit and supple tannins on the long satisfying finish. A very solid performance from the Sarrazin brothers!" — Bart Hopkins, 67Wine
  • Producer: Michel Sarrazin et Fils, Givry, Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, France
  • Appellation: Givry AOC — Clos de la Roche (lieu-dit)
  • Grape: 100% Pinot Noir
  • Vintage: 2023
  • Farming: Practicing organic — indigenous yeast fermentation
  • Vines: 45+ years old, 250+ meters altitude, limestone and clay soils
  • Aging: Barrel aged, 50% new oak — de-stemmed
  • Tasting Notes: Plum, cherry, black raspberry, violet, peppery spice, sappy fruit, supple tannins, long finish
  • Best Paired With: Roast duck, lamb chops, mushroom risotto, aged Comté or Époisses

A great lieu-dit from one of Givry's most reliable family estates — the Clos de la Roche 2023 is the kind of village Burgundy that reminds you why this region is worth every penny.

Les Lys is a historic climat within the celebrated Vaillons Premier Cru, situated toward the upper portion of the hillside and known for producing Chablis of exceptional elegance, freshness and finesse.

William Fèvre owns approximately 0.99 hectare in Les Lys, an east-facing parcel planted on clay soils over Chablis’ famous Kimmeridgian limestone. Historically associated with French royalty, the vineyard combines a privileged location with a cooler personality that allows the fruit to ripen slowly while preserving beautiful acidity and mineral definition.

The 2023 vintage opens with bright aromas of green apple, lemon oil and fresh stone fruit, joined by white flowers, subtle herbs and delicate marine notes. With air, layers of oyster shell, chalk and crushed stone become increasingly pronounced.

On the palate, the wine is precise, fresh and beautifully balanced. Orchard fruit and citrus are carried by lively acidity, while a finely textured chalkiness gives the wine shape and definition. There is an appealing suppleness through the mid-palate, but the overall impression remains cool, mineral and distinctly Chablisien.

The finish is long and refreshing, marked by crushed shell, citrus zest and a lingering saline quality. Les Lys is less about sheer power than purity, elegance and mineral tension, making it a particularly refined expression of William Fèvre’s Premier Cru holdings.

Winemaking is deliberately gentle to preserve the character of the vineyard. The fruit is handled largely by gravity, followed by delicate pressing and natural alcoholic and malolactic fermentations. The wine is matured with a restrained use of older French oak before completing its élevage in stainless steel, maintaining freshness and allowing the terroir to remain at the forefront.

Food Pairing

An excellent partner for oysters, clams, scallops, shrimp and grilled seafood, as well as delicate white fish such as sole, halibut and sea bass.

Its combination of freshness and texture also pairs beautifully with roast chicken, poultry in a light cream sauce, goat cheese and gently seasoned vegetable dishes.

Serve lightly chilled to allow the wine’s floral character, subtle fruit and mineral complexity to fully emerge.

Professional Ratings

94 James Suckling: More green stone fruit and chopped herbs on the nose, with crushed shells and mineral. Bright, dry and medium-weighted, with a nicely chalky mouthfeel despite the vertical, zestier acidity. Stony, cool and pure on the finish.

93 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: Sourced from a north-facing site beneath forest cover with clay-rich soils, a parcel selection in Vaillons, the 2023 Chablis 1er Cru Les Lys is among the most quintessentially Chablisien wines in the portfolio and is harvested around a week later than the fruit that enters the Vaillons bottling. It offers aromas of oyster juice, white flowers, lemon oil and Granny Smith apple, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, incisive and pure palate that is elegant yet racy and fresh, concluding with a long, saline finish.

93 Vinous: The 2023 Chablis Les Lys 1er Cru comes from a single hectare of vines. Lime, red apple and touches of orange pith and peach skin develop in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a taut line of acidity, silky smooth, very composed with a lot of finesse on the finish. This is one of the domaine's hidden gems and should not be under-estimated.

92 Jasper Morris: Clear pale lemon yellow. The nose is taking coaxing but has the precision. Very good tension, still with delicacy despite the concentration, nothing dilute here, good tension with a little bitterness at the back. Barrel sample: 90-92

92 Wine Enthusiast: This is a particularly well-balanced Cha- blis. Aromas of green apple, lightly browned toast, and lilac open on the nose accented by dried white blos- som. The saline-dusted palate washes across crushed shells and rides a wave of chalky acidity that becomes more emergent on the finish.

The Style

Elegant, cool and mineral-driven — a beautifully precise Premier Cru Chablis combining floral finesse, chalky freshness and a lingering saline finish.

St. Francis Old Vines Zinfandel — Sonoma County, California 2022

St. Francis Winery is one of Sonoma County’s most celebrated producers — a winery whose commitment to old-vine Zinfandel has made it a benchmark name for the variety in California. The 2022 Old Vines Zinfandel is sourced from Sonoma County’s most storied Zinfandel vineyards, where ancient, deeply-rooted vines produce fruit of remarkable concentration, complexity, and character. It is approachable, crowd-pleasing, and deeply satisfying — the kind of old-vine Sonoma Zinfandel that disappears fast at the table.

Daou Sauvignon Blanc — Paso Robles 2024

Daou Vineyards has become one of California’s most celebrated estates, and their Paso Robles Sauvignon Blanc is a quintessential expression of what this sun-drenched appellation does with the variety. Sourced from estate vineyards perched on the limestone-rich soils of DAOU Mountain, the 2024 vintage is bright, aromatic, and decisively refreshing — a classily structured, elegantly styled white that punches well above its price point and earned 90 points from Wine Enthusiast.

The finish is clean and lingering, with notes of dragon fruit, passionfruit, and citrus.

Rapaura Springs Sauvignon Blanc 2025 750ml

Rapaura Springs · Marlborough · New Zealand · 2025

Rapaura is the beating heart of Marlborough — a sub-region of the Wairau Valley where the stony, free-draining soils and long hours of sunshine produce Sauvignon Blanc of exceptional intensity and character. Rapaura Springs takes its name from this storied terroir, and the wine delivers on every promise the address makes: pure, vibrant, and unmistakably Marlborough.

The nose is an exuberant rush of passionfruit, lime, lemongrass, and tropical fruit, with a signature herbaceous lift of jalapeño and fresh basil. On the palate, juicy fruit flavors are balanced by a lovely textural element that pads out the zippy acidity, leading to a long, mouth-watering finish with notes of ruby grapefruit, guava, and crunchy sea salt.

92 Points – Wine Enthusiast | “With all the feistiness you’ve come to know and love from Marlborough Savvy B, this explodes with aromas of passion fruit, lime, lemongrass, jalapeño and bell pepper. There’s a lovely textural element on the palate that nicely pads out the zippy acidity, taking this up a notch in quality — just as a good reserve-level wine should. Best Buy.” (Vintage 2025).

92 Points – Wine Spectator | “Bursting with notes of ruby grapefruit, guava and pear, accented by tangerine, lemon blossoms, crunchy sea salt, fresh basil and lemon oregano. Offers appealing plumpness, ending with a long, expressive finish.” (Vintage 2025).

Cline Chardonnay Seven Ranchlands Sonoma County 2024 750ml

Cline Family Cellars · 'Seven Ranchlands' Chardonnay · Sonoma County · 2024

The Cline family has farmed the Sonoma Coast for decades, and their 'Seven Ranchlands' Chardonnay draws from two of their most prized sites — Catapult Ranch and Tolay Vista — situated in the Petaluma Gap, the cool corridor where Pacific air funnels east through the Sonoma mountain range and slows ripening to a crawl. The result is a Chardonnay with the kind of natural acidity and layered flavor development that most California whites have to work hard to achieve. 2024 was a warm, consistent vintage with a late heat spike that allowed grapes to reach perfect ripeness without sacrificing freshness — and at $14.99 with JS:92 and WE:91, this is one of the best-value Chardonnays in Sonoma.

Handpicked before dawn, each parcel is vinified separately: destemmed, lightly crushed, and pressed to extract richness, then racked after 24 hours to retain solids. Half ferments in stainless steel (inoculated), half in barrel with native yeast. Both go through 100% malolactic fermentation and age 8 months in French oak before blending. On the nose: ripe stone fruit, toasted brioche, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate: creamy and full-bodied with bright acidity, flavors of peach, lemon curd, and toasted oak, finishing long and clean.

“Rich and creamy with excellent balance — a benchmark for Sonoma Chardonnay at this price.”
— James Suckling, 92 Points | Wine Enthusiast, 91 Points (Vintage 2024).

Domaine Graeme & Julie Bott Condrieu 2022 750ml (Special Offer Price)

Only 120 cases imported to the United States

Domaine Graeme & Julie Bott Condrieu 2022 is an elegant and beautifully expressive Viognier from one of the Northern Rhône's most celebrated white wine appellations. Rich and aromatic yet remarkably fresh, it combines the lush fruit and floral character of Condrieu with the mineral precision and energy that define Graeme and Julie Bott's style.

The wine comes from approximately 25-year-old Viognier vines planted on the steep granite soils of Condrieu. These demanding hillside vineyards naturally produce small yields, helping to create a wine with concentration, depth and a strong sense of place.

Expert Reviews

93 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: The 2022 Condrieu from Graeme & Julie Bott is a lovely classic in the making, unfurling in the glass with aromas of spring blossoms, white fruits, flowers, apricots and honeysuckles mingled with delicate spicy notes. Bright and vibrant, it's medium to full-bodied, enrobing and precise with a sappy, charming mid-palate that segues into a sappy, delicately phenolic finish. Made from purchased grapes, fermented in barrels and matured for nine months in large barrels, this is a strong effort.

93 Wine Spectator: A floral, bright and expressive white, with elderflower and white peach flavors shored up with crushed flint minerality, fresh-cut chive notes and zippy acidity. Lacy in feel, showing terrific purity throughout and ending with a clean finish. Drink now through 2025. 375 cases made, 120 cases imported.

92 James Suckling: A fruity nose with fresh pears, green apples, fresh apricots, herbs and mild spices. It’s medium-bodied with a caressing texture. Well-balanced with a spicy and mineral edge. Precise with a succulent finish. Drink or hold.

91 Jeb Dunnuck: A clean, classy, medium-bodied effort from this estate, the 2022 Condrieu has textbook tart apricot and orange blossom-like fruit as well as some spicy, mineral nuances. I love its balance, and it has good acidity and a great finish. It's going to shine on the dinner table.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted in the vineyard before being whole-bunch pressed. After cold settling, fermentation takes place in barrel, followed by approximately 10 months of aging in French oak barrels before bottling. Production is extremely limited, at approximately 2,000 bottles.

Tasting Notes

Golden in color with pale yellow highlights, the 2022 Condrieu opens with expressive aromas of ripe peach, apricot and fresh yellow fruits accented by delicate white flowers and subtle violet notes. The palate is rich, concentrated and silky, yet beautifully balanced by freshness, mineral tension and a subtle saline character.

Despite its generous texture, the wine remains bright and energetic throughout, finishing long and precise with a delicate savory bitterness that brings definition and balance to the ripe Viognier fruit.

About Domaine Graeme & Julie Bott

Graeme and Julie Bott met while working at the renowned Northern Rhône domaine of Stéphane Ogier before establishing their own estate. Their vineyards are centered around the Northern Rhône, where they focus on expressive, pure wines that emphasize freshness and the distinctive character of their hillside terroirs.

Food Pairing

A beautiful match for rich and creamy dishes. Pair with vegetable risotto, roast or poached poultry with cream sauce, foie gras, or other dishes where the wine's generous texture can complement richness while its freshness keeps the pairing lively and balanced.

Roederer Estate Brut NV Sparkling Anderson Valley California Rose 750ml

Roederer Estate Brut Rosé NV Anderson Valley

When Louis Roederer — the Champagne house behind Cristal — established Roederer Estate in California's Anderson Valley in 1982, they chose the region for a reason: its cool, fog-driven climate, elevated acidity, and distinctive soils offered the conditions to make world-class sparkling wine with genuine Old World character. The Brut Rosé is the estate’s most expressive non-vintage bottling — a wine that consistently overdelivers at its price point and has earned a devoted following among sparkling wine lovers.

The multi-vintage blend is 56% Pinot Noir and 44% Chardonnay, with 10–15% oak-aged reserve wines from the estate’s cellars adding depth and complexity. Disgorged in May 2023 with a dosage of 8 g/L. The result is a wine of delightful precision: fully balanced between red fruit and acidity, with a rounded mid-palate, enduring finesse to the mousse, and the structure to age through 2035 and beyond.

Gorgeous salmon-pink in the glass, the wine opens with aromas of yeasty brioche, fresh raspberry, strawberry, white tea, and spiced orange zest. The palate is firm and focused, with dried raspberry, orange blossom, cranberry, dried rose petal, and mint, gliding into supple orange cream and white grapefruit on a dry, refreshing finish. Graceful, dynamic, and endlessly versatile.

Jeb Dunnuck — 94 pts

“Gorgeously pretty in a salmon hue… delightfully precise in nature, fully balanced between red fruit and acidity, with a rounded mid-palate and enduring finesse to the mousse. The acidity and structure are solidly impressive and should give the wine plenty of time to age through 2035, if not beyond.” — Virginie Boone

Wine Enthusiast — 93 pts

“Pale-pink salmon-hued with aromas of yeasty brioche, fresh raspberry, youthful strawberry, white tea and spiced orange zest. The midpalate is firm mousse, dried raspberry, orange blossom, gliding into supple orange cream and white grapefruit with a dry finish. Pair with life.” — Tonya Pitts

James Suckling — 93 pts

“This wine has gone on my ‘wines that always deliver’ list. Delicious and excellent value.”

Wine Spectator — 92 pts

“Graceful yet dynamic, with pretty strawberry and citrus flavors that take on fresh violet, orange peel and spice accents as this builds vibrancy toward the bright finish.” — Tim Fish

Vinous — 91 pts

“A serious but also very versatile Rosé. Cranberry, spice, dried rose petal and mint grace this understated, resonant Rosé. Fleshes out beautifully with a bit of time in the glass.” — Antonio Galloni

About Champagne Paul Bara

Paul Bara Rosé Brut Grand Cru NV is a vibrant, expressive Rosé Champagne from one of Bouzy’s most storied grower estates — a family that has farmed this celebrated Grand Cru village since 1833. The estate tends approximately 11 hectares of clay-limestone and chalk-rich vineyards planted primarily to Pinot Noir, and its Champagnes are renowned for their combination of ripe fruit, fine structure, and a distinctive sense of place. Composed of 80% Pinot Noir (including 12% estate-produced Bouzy Rouge) and 20% Chardonnay, this Rosé is a benchmark expression of Bouzy’s vinous depth and red-fruit generosity.

Tasting Notes

Luminous salmon-pink in the glass with a fine, persistent mousse. The bouquet is expressive and inviting: raspberry, wild strawberry, and red cherry lead, accompanied by dried apricot, citrus peel, and delicate flowers, with subtle accents of almond, biscuit, and gentle spice emerging with air. On the palate, the wine is lively, generous, and beautifully balanced — juicy red fruit supported by refreshing acidity and a fine mineral backbone, with a smooth, creamy texture from approximately four years of lees aging. The finish is dry, focused, and persistent, with lingering red-fruit, citrus, and savory mineral notes.

Critical Acclaim

Decanter — 96 Points: “Enticing creamy raspberry and ground almond notes which propel over the pink grapefruit acidity and gorgeous glowing, silky mousse. Delicate with a crushed red fruit ending.”

James Suckling — 93 Points: “Attractive fruit with sliced-strawberry and apple aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with fresh apples and citrus as well as touches of heather and bread dough. Tangy at the end.”

Winemaking

Only the first pressing of the grapes is used. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks; malolactic fermentation is avoided to preserve freshness and natural acidity. The estate-produced Bouzy Rouge contributes the Rosé’s attractive color, richness, and red-fruit complexity. Aged approximately four years on lees before release — well beyond the NV minimum — developing greater texture and depth while retaining vibrant fruit. Sustainable farming, lutte raisonnée. Average vine age: approximately 35 years.

Food Pairings

Exceptional as an aperitif. Pairs beautifully with smoked salmon, tuna tartare, sushi, grilled shrimp, lobster, duck breast, roast poultry, pork tenderloin, charcuterie, creamy cheeses, and red-berry desserts. Versatile enough to accompany an entire meal.

E. Guigal Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2022 375ml | Half Bottle

Expert Review — Vintage 2022

Jeb Dunnuck — 90 Points | Mostly Viognier (55%) but with other permitted white varieties, the 2022 Côtes Du Rhône Blanc has a medium-bodied, vibrant, pure style to go with lovely peach and tangerine-like aromas and flavors. Drink this outstanding, classy white over the coming 2-3 years. I never cease to be amazed at the quality of the Côtes du Rhône white from this team, especially given the quantities produced.

Winemaker Description

Yellow gold, clear and brilliant. Freshness on the nose marked by the distinctive aromas of Viognier — white flowers, apricot, acacia and white peach. On the palate it is fruity with plenty of richness and body. A well-rounded wine with elegance, strength and balance.
