90 Points Wine & Spirits - Best Buy | Straight-ahead red, this wine is dark and lean, offering scents of caramel, cedar, plum and mint. It’s a steal for the price, with firm, slightly bitter tannins to put up against a smash burger. (2020).

This full-bodied Syrah shows robust and pronounced aromas of blackberry, black currant, violets, black peppercorn, Herbes de Provence, and licorice. Spiced dark fruit flavors reveal themselves on the palate finishing with a mouth-filling, savory richness.

International Wine Report - 95 points - The IV Montem Soils series is a special bottling of 7 different wines chosen from the 12 acres of the Fidelitas Estate to showcase the highest quality wines of the vintage. A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot, 20% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc makes up the 2021 IV Montem Soils Red Wine from Fidelitas. Pouring a brooding deep purple core with a fluorescent purple rim, this tight-young wine has a ton of promise in the glass. Bountiful notes of black plums, black and red currants, tobacco leaf, cassis, sweet tangerine zest, dried mountain sage, eucalyptus, and sweet clove. Acidity falls in the moderate plus range, alongside tight tannins and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Give this one another 2 years before you open it up for best results.

Michael Alberty of The Wine Enhusiast writes 94 Points | Caffè latte, cranberry and lilac aromas make for a heck of an introduction. Then comes the wave of blackberry, rosemary, tarragon and English breakfast tea flavors—delicious. This wine features the sturdiest tannins this side of a tannery, so be prepared to offer it a little air. Enjoy now until 2034.

Flavors of mocha, nutmeg, and thyme are featured prominently on the elegantly structured frame. This is cool-toned and silky in feel, yet quickly gains in tension, as tactile wild berry and minerals saturate the palate. The 2019 finishes structured yet with a mentholated freshness to balance, as hints of mocha and exotic spice slowly fade. This is a vintage for the cellar. The Lenore Syrah is aromatic with rich, sweet berry notes of blueberry, boysenberry, red currant and plum. The mouthwatering acidity is nicely balanced with firm tannins and layers of bright bramble fruit. As this wine coats the palate, underlying hints of vanilla bean, peppercorn and sweet tobacco shine through. A robust finish includes chocolate and raspberry.
