Intense lifted notes of ripe tropical fruits and citrus on the nose. Refined and elegant, displaying a finely textured palate with flavors of guava and stone fruit. Wonderfully expressive with a fresh, dry finish. 

The Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is a vibrant, aromatic New Zealand white wine from Marlborough, known for its tropical fruit (guava, passion fruit) and citrus (lime, grapefruit) flavors with crisp acidity, showcasing intense regional character from the Wairau River's unique soils, offering an elegant, refreshing taste perfect for enjoying now.

Established in 1978, the Rose family estate vineyards are situated on the banks of the Wairau River (pronounced “why-row”). Pioneers in the Marlborough region, the Rose family selected vineyard sites along the banks of the Wairau River to grow their grapes. This river provides the wineswith a distinct sense of place and the river’s stratification is the inspiration for the new label design across all the brand’s varietals. The 2020 Sauvignon Blancissourced from six family vineyards across the Marlborough region, all located on the northern side of the Wairau Valley: Home Block, Riverlore, Rapaura, Longbend, The Angler, and Burnside.
