One can never have too much Rye, so Redemption High Rye Bourbon recipe approaches the upper limit of allowable Rye grain in a Bourbon mash bill. Aromas of light vanilla, red berry fruitiness and a slight hint of oak. On the palate, spicy, woody, and minty notes. Fennel-like notes of light licorice and black pepper from the Rye. The finish is long and smooth with a nice spice from the high Rye content.
Mash Bill: 60% Corn, 36% Rye, 4% Malted Barley
Redemption RYE Whiskey 92 Proof 750ml
We start with a mashbill of 95% premium rye and age it for over two years in new charred oak barrels. Once properly aged we bottle it at a bold 92 proof - perfect to stand up on its own in any cocktail or by itself in your favorite glass.
We bottle in small batches which allows us to leave the whiskey in the barrels longer for the most flavor and color. We empty the barrels and filter for particles, cut it down to 92 proof and bottle it immediately so that the most flavor from the barrel makes it into the bottle. We then mark each bottle with the batch and bottle number by hand - Producer Description

Old Overholt Straight Rye Whiskey Aged 4 Years 86 Proof 1.0L LITER
Producer Description
A relic you can drink, Old Overholt is a straight rye whiskey with a distinctive flavor and appeal that, after Prohibition, made it the most popular spirit in the country. With a rich taste on the palate, Old Overholt offers a tinge of sweetness.
Renowned for its outstanding mixability in classic cocktails like the Sazerac and 'Old Style' Manhattan, the one and only Old Overholt is 80 proof and aged 3 years. Abraham Overholt (1784 - 1870) was one of the fathers of American distilling and he took uncompromising pride in this product.
When it came to making his whiskey, Abraham Overholt lived by three hard and fast standards: work hard, stand fast, and don't waver. These three standards were the basis upon which he built Old Overholt, and they continue to be followed to this day.
Whistle Pig 10 Years Old Small Batch Straight Rye Whiskey 750ml
Producer Description
The spirit of entrepreneurship. Fortune, superb taste, and hustle lead us to the discovery of an aged Rye Whiskey stock in Alberta, Canada. We rescued the stock from misuse as a blending whiskey, aged it in new American Oak with a bourbon barrel finish, then hand-bottled this rye on its own. We’re honored to present the most awarded Rye Whiskey in the world.
In 2010, WhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey was released to great critical acclaim. Though the whiskey is new, the WhistlePig farm has a long history. Revolutionary War veterans cleared much of the surrounding forest to settle and farm following the war. The land was nearly continuously in cultivation until a dairy farm shuttered its windows in the early 2000s. In 2007, Raj Peter Bhakta purchased the farm, which is certified organic, and now raises cattle, horses, sheep, goats and pigs. The fields yield alfalfa, rye, barley and oats. WhistlePig is 100 proof, 100 percent rye whiskey and aged for at least ten years in new American oak and Bourbon barrels. Additionally, WhistlePig Farm in Shoreham, VT is America’s first single estate whiskey distillery. Master Distiller, Dave Pickerell, has over 20 years of experience in building distilleries and over 14 years as Master Distiller of Maker’s Mark - Producer Description.

Ragtime Rye New York Streaight RYE Whiskey Bottled in Bond 750ml 100 Proof
Producer Description
At the dawn of a new century, before the turbulence of Prohibition, the stalwarts of saloons and brothels alike were Ragtime and Rye. The syncopated rhythms of a uniquely American music were punctuated by well-built melody and shades of harmony; to ask for a whiskey cocktail meant a hearty Rye in hand – bold, slightly spicy and full of warm flavor. From Lincoln to the Dust Bowl, the wrath of battle to the backyard barbecue, Rye Whiskey has waxed and waned like amber waves of grain, its popularity, only recently, reclaimed as a resolute American spirit.
Distilled from rye proudly grown in New York State, this uncompromising whiskey is aged exclusively in full-size barrels to ensure robust flavor and nuanced finish. If the destiny of nations depends on cultural nourishment then ours may rest, in fulfillment, with Ragtime and Rye.

Michter's Barrel Strength Rye 750ml
Butterscotch and cinnamon with a hint of cherries on the nose; warming, rich, toasty vanilla and caramel up front with a dry oaky spice on the finish.
The May 2015 inaugural release of Michter's US1 Barrel Strength Rye marked yet another milestone in that quest. For maturation, the Rye distillate is entered into the barrel at 103 proof, rather than a more industry standard higher proof. Barrel entry at a lower proof of 103 rather than a higher proof costs Michter's more money in terms of barrels and warehousing, but they believe it yields a richer, smoother, more full-bodied whiskey after proper maturation. A single barrel product, each barrel of Michter's US1 Barrel Strength Rye is bottled at its particular alcohol level at the time of bottling. The majority of barrels in the releases range from 107 to 112 proof. To savor it is a unique experience for anyone who enjoys rye whiskey.
Expert Reviews
Tasting Panel | Bottled at barrel strength (108 proof), this Kentucky straight rye exudes Michter’s always complex aromas—full of orange peel, burnt sugar, choco- late leather—with an extra stirring of the senses i ncluding cherrywood and peach. On the tongue, the alcohol sets a tone, then dissipates, leaving a warmth of peppered cherries, orange zest, toffee nibs and cocoa.
PointsWine Enthusiast | This limited-release rye offers a rich aroma of vanilla and caramel. Bottled at barrel strength, it's initially drying and hot on the palate. Complex and echoing with rounded vanilla and allspice, it stands up to plenty of dilution, and finishes on a hint of almond.

Whistlepig THE BOSS HOG Rye Whiskey 105.8 750ml

The whiskey was distilled in Canada using koji fermentation techniques and, after spending 16 years in oak, it is finished in barrels seasoned with umeshu, Japanese plum wine.
Nelson bros straight rye whiskey 92.5 Proof 750ml
Producer Description
Nelson Brothers Straight Rye Whiskey is bottled at 92.5 proof. This American whiskey features tasting notes of nutmeg, dried apricot, mint, leather, cinnamon, and cedar.
Seeking an American dream and a fresh start in Nashville, Charles Nelson opened a grocery store that flourished from his three best-selling products: coffee, meat, and whiskey. This eventually led to his focusing only on his whiskey business, the demand for which was far exceeding the supply. He bought the distillery that was making his whiskey in Greenbrier, TN, and a patent for improved distillation. Throughout this success, he began to make a name for Tennessee whiskey and a household name for himself, as well. Belle Meade Bourbon was one of about 30 different labels that Charles Nelson produced in the late 1800's. Unlike most of his other products, it was produced in conjunction with a third party, Nashville's Sperry Wade & Company, who had contracted Nelson's Green Brier Distillery to sell bourbon, rye, corn, and Tennessee whiskies bearing the Belle Meade brand.
Belle Meade Bourbon was the toast of the town when it hit the market in 1878 and became known as a great value and top-quality product. Long after prohibition's end, Charlie and Andy Nelson dedicated their lives to bringing back the family business and resurrecting the once-great Nelson's Green Brier Distillery. This was no small feat for two recent college grads who spent years being told "no" by potential investors, but that didn't stop the tenacious Nelsons.

Enigmatic and highly sought-after, expect a sumptuously smooth mouthfeel, rolling with outstanding and captivating flavors that blur the lines between rye and bourbon and leave you wondering and wanting more.
