Oscar Garcia Moncada 67Wine.com | Boasts an enticing sunset pink hue with medium intensity. Aromas of pink grapefruit, strawberries, and raspberries intermingle on the nose. On the palate, peaches, watermelon, red berries, and citrus blend together harmoniously. The finish is dry, refreshing, and thirst-quenching. This Rosé is pure joy to drink! It is crafted from 100% Tempranillo grapes grown in the Duero region of Castilla y León, Spain. The grapes undergo cold maceration for several hours to extract color, aroma, and flavor. After this process, the juice ferments under temperature-controlled conditions in inert, stainless steel vats.

Oscar Garcia Moncada 67Wine.com | The highly anticipated 2022 vintage of 67Wine "Somm Series" Rose has finally arrived. Pale Pink in color with aromas and  flavors of enticing red fruit: fresh-cut watermelon, strawberries, cranberries and wild raspberries. Medium-light-bodied with a crisp and well-integrated acidity. The finish is dry and very  refreshing.  

A delicious expression perfect for any occasion: picnics, beach outings, or a leisurely lunch in the park.

Winemaker Description 

Vibrant coral and rose quartz color with bright aromas of melon, citrus and dried herbs with ample orchard fruits and mineral salinity.  Always one of the finest rosés in California.  

This Rosé comes from two incredible sites: Luchsinger and St. Amant Vineyards. The rocky, volcanic site enjoys a warm growing season suitable to Touriga Nacional. Touriga is a late-ripening grape that needs some heat to mature and the Luchsinger site is a perfect match for this hearty variety.

This vineyard, farmed by the Spencer family since 1972, is composed of sandy granitic loam, and benefits from cool air descending the nearby Sierra Nevada Mountains which helps moderate ripening.

The grapes have a vibrant personality with fine tannins and bright acidity. The fruit from both of these vineyard sites is crushed lightly prior to pressing to release some color, then fermented with native yeasts and aged in stainless steel.

 91 Points James Suckling | A silky, seductive and saline Côtes de Provence rosé with aromas of small berries, red currants and salt. It’s medium-bodied, succulent, fresh and playful, with a caressing texture and a vivid, saline finish.

 Whispering Angel is today's worldwide reference for Provence Rosé. Made from Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino), its pale color is pleasing to the eye and draws one in. The rewarding taste profile is full and lush while being bone dry with a smooth finish.

The delicious Tavel Rosé Tete de Cuvée is the first wine ever made by historic Rhone Valley winery Chateau de Manissy. It's a biodynamic barrel-aged dry Fench rosé made from Grenache, Clairette and Cinsault grapes. Rich and complex with aromas of ripe quince, dried orange, hints of almond and exotic spice.

A gorgeous Tavel and one of those rosé wines that is built for short-term aging.  The palate is silky yet full with luxurious red currant, cherry and mineral notes that cascade over the palate. A wine to serve with just about anything. Grilled tuna steaks, white meats, barbecue, ceviche. It's all good.

Joe Czerwiński writes:  Aged in oak foudres of 25 hectoliters, the 2022 Tavel Tete de Cuvee is in some ways the most traditional of the Tavels on offer at this impeccably run estate, eschewing stainless steel and leaving out Syrah in favor of Grenache, Cinsault and Clairette. A light ruby in hue, it does show hints of pencil shavings on the nose, alongside more classic notes of red currants, tangerines and a touch of garrigue. It's full-bodied yet not overly expansive, with the wood seemingly helping to provide structure and length.  Drinking 2023 - 2025.  - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 92+

Winemaker Notes

An alluringly clear pale pink colour with gleaming pastel pink reflections. Fine and elegant, the nose offers a superb aromatic bouquet with notes of red berries and cherry blossom.The mouth is full, vivacious, and distinguished with a refinement that is heightened by delicious notes of blood orange and redcurrant perfectly balanced by a lovely mineral structure and just the right hint of bitterness. These luscious aromas are prolonged on the lingering finish of this elegant, well-balanced wine.

Like in the Northern Rhône, the 2023 vintage was full of contrasts in Provence, requiring composure and meticulous and permanent attention of our vines. After a dry winter, the spring was particularly wet with episodes of hail which caused damage. Following these heavy rains, we had to face significant spells of mildew before a particularly hot and dry summer.

The harvest thus began early on September 6th. Due to these climatic hazards, the harvest offers a limited quantity but with magnificent quality. The wines are now resting peacefully in the cellar. In the fall, we were also able to harvest a good crop of olives, around 15 tonnes.

91 Points Wine Wine Spectator:Rich and full, this intensely savory rosé is texturally very pure and integrated, with a beguiling mix of sea salt–coated pink grapefruit, rose petal and tangerine notes. Notes of chamomile tea and a green herbal thread add complexity through the succulent, penetrating finish. Tibouren and Grenache. Drink now.

Clos Cibonne’s iconic Cuvée Tradition stands uniquely apart from other Rosés as a classic, one-of-a-kind Côtes de Provence rosé featuring the tibouren grape in the lead role. Cuvée Tradition is legendary amongst experienced French wine collectors for its texture, substance, and ability to age gracefully for a decade or more.

The wine has a salmon-orange color. The nose is enchanting, warm and matures into smooth spicy aromas. Winy, mellow and surprisingly mineral on the palate.

The Wine Enthusiast 92 Points | An alluring shade of rose-petal pink, this is a joyous style of rosé sure to please anyone sipping in the summer sun. Aromas of bubblegum, watermelon and cherry lead from the nose into a palate that is generous with flavors of peach and stonefruit yet reserved by snappy citrus tones.

Made from Grenache grapes in the classic Provençale style, the 2023 DAOU Rosé displays beautiful radiance with a pale flamingo hue. Delicate aromas of peach, apricot, mango and lemony vanilla are accompanied by floral hints of hibiscus and honeysuckle. The palate is perfectly poised, balancing light and airy textures with a lush, crisp juiciness. Flavors of nectarine, papaya and Crenshaw melon reveal lingering notes of apple and citrus zest, all converging into a clean, silky finish.

G.D. Vajra Barolo Vino Spumante Neve Rose 750ml. 60% Nebbiolo 40% Pinot Noir Nostra Signora Della Neve is the most important vineyard in the blend of this Metodo Classico of Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir. It is located in Roddino, where the Barolo hills rise into the Alta Langa. With magnificent vines growing on steep sides, this vineyard is every year a beautiful challenge for our harvest crew.

Critic Notes

Billy Norris of Vinous writes 91 Points | Vajra's NV Extra Brut Rosé N.S. Della Neve is incredibly characterful, sizzling out of the glass with leather, mesquite smoke, blackberry and white pepper. A blend of 50% Nebbiolo and 50% Pinot Noir, the structure of the former comes through loud and clear through bright acids and firm, powdery tannins. Sour berry fruit and mentholated herbs meet with salty stoniness in the mouth, elevated by a lively, fine mousse. It's not the most finessed sparkling wine you'll taste, but it's certainly charming.  Drinking 2024 - 2027.

Bart Hopkins writes:  One of our favorite recommendations for the past three years, Gerard Boulay Sancerre Rose is made of 100% Pinot Noir and is certain to make your mouth water!  The wine is balanced between juicyness and acidity, with obvious red berry notes.  Boulay’s Sibylle Rose is made from mature 35 to 40+ year old vines, in the village of Chavignol, where many believe the best Sancerre is made.  - 67Wine Buyer

Winemaker Notes

Unlike many Sancerre Roses, Gerard harvests his Pinot specifically to make rose by direct press, then into tank. It is not a selection of young vines as he has no young Pinot vines. What makes the rosé one year could make red another, and vice versa, depending on what the vintage gives. 

Varietals: Pinot Noir. Organic: Practicing. Vineyard: From 35-40 year old Pinot Noir vines on the steep hillsides in front of the Boulay home in Chavignol. Orientation: Multiple parcels, varied exposure. Soil: Steep clay hillside. Viticulture: Gerard works the soil manually and lets nature make the wine. Vinification: Tank fermented. Boulay adds no yeast and minimal amounts of SO2. Aging: Tank aged. Production: 200 cases annually.

Antonio Galloni writes:  The 2023 Rosé Sibylle is redolent with crushed berry fruit, rosewater, spice, mint and orange peel. Sensual and layered in the glass, the 2023 possesses lovely textural resonance to play off its effusive aromatics. It’s a gorgeous wine from Gerard Boulay.  Drinking 2024 - 2026.  - Vinous 90

The wine, crafted from Grenache, Cinsault, and Vermentino, is aged in concrete and stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness and purity.

Tasting Notes: This rosé exudes a brilliant sunset pink hue. On the nose, it presents an enticing aromatic bouquet of fresh red berries such as wild strawberries, raspberries, and red currants, with a hint of citrus elements like lime peel in the background. On the palate, there are abundant strawberries and raspberries accompanied by refreshingly dry acidity. The finish is dry and very clean, leaving no aftertaste except for a thirst that entices one to keep sipping.

This has always been one of our staff’s favorite Provence Roses.  In our opinion, Bandol produces one of the best roses to accompany food, being fuller and rounder in the mouth, with lots of mouthwatering flavors and palate cleansing acidity.

La Fête Wine Company Founder & CEO Donae Burston was first introduced to the wonders of Cotes de Provence rose while celebrating his 30th birthday at the world famous Nikki Beach Club in Saint Tropez. 

Burston and his friends were surrounded by people from around the world drinking what he thought was white Zinfandel, but was in fact rose from the surrounding Provence region. From that very first taste, the seeds for La Fête du Rosé were planted.

On the nose, scents of freshly picked forest fruits with notes of salinity, reminiscent of a summer evening on the beach. On the palate, perfectly balanced, vibrant strawberry grenadine and currant, ending with remarkable freshness. Winemaker Description.

La Vieille Ferme Rosé 2023 is a fresh and lively wine that captures the essence of a classic Provence-style rosé. On the nose, it greets with a fragrant bouquet of red berries, including wild strawberries and raspberries, alongside delicate notes of white peach, citrus zest, and a hint of rose petals.

The palate is light and crisp, offering flavors of ripe red fruits, juicy watermelon, and a touch of pink grapefruit, all balanced by a refreshing acidity. A subtle minerality adds depth and complexity, leading to a clean, dry finish that is both refreshing and satisfying. This 2023 vintage is the perfect companion for warm-weather sipping, embodying the bright, easygoing character that makes rosé such a beloved choice for casual enjoyment.

Elisabetta Fagiuoli and husband Sergio founded their 50-hectare winery in 1965, on a hillside across the valley from the picturesque Tuscan town of San Gimignano. The vineyards are situated on some of the oldest rock in Italy and it is claimed that vines were first planted here by the Etruscans in the 7th century BC. All is organic at the estate, yields are low and quality control ruthless. This soft and savoury rosato is made from 100% hand-harvested Canaiuolo grapes that undergo a lengthy fermentation before bottling. The resulting wine makes for a great aperitivo.

A light salmon-pink in the glass. Aromas of strawberries, watermelon and ripe cherry. On the palate, crisp and refreshing with an elegant minerality leading to a lively finish. Try with grilled salmon, faro (pearl barley) and borlotti bean soup or cacciucco - Tuscan seafood stew. 

Winemaker notes:  "A moment of happiness, far from whites and reds, from labels and conformity: It's the aperitif that opens lines of communication, it's the cup that assuages thirst, a moment of rest and relaxation, to celebrate a baptism, a first communion or a wedding. At Montenidoli, we've selected Canaiuolo, which has the perfumes of white grapes and the color of reds. It's pale rose pink, with the perfumes of the flowers that blossom in the woods in spring, while the calcareous fossil-rich soils offer rich savory flavors and a soft enveloping finish...The perfect aperitif, if possible in a Champagne flute. A delicately colored rosé with floral aromas, full soft flavors, and a savory finish.”

Organically farmed 100% Canaiuolo from 65+ year old vines! Produced and bottled by Elisabetta Fagiuoli (now in her eighties!) in Tuscany. Tart cherry, subtly minerality and salinity, and a plush mouthful while still lean and crisp.  A perfect Rose to drink all summer as an aperitif or with dinner.

Rand Sieger | 67 Wine Buyer: The Tuscan grape Canaiuolo, which is often blended with Sangiovese to add herbal notes to Chianti, makes a lovely single varietal rosé here. This has been one of my favorite rosés over the past few vintages. It comes from winery owner Elisabetta Fagiuoli’s organic estate near San Gimignano. Raspberries and violets are punctuated with orange blossom and citrus. Full and dry on the palate with a lively, salty finish.

Always one of the first rosés to hit the market, this traditional S. Rhone blend comes from 25-50 year old vines grown along the Gassac Riber. It boasts a pleasant, intense nose with hints of strawberries. Full and round on the palate with red fruit flavors.

Few winemakers have come to define their region like Mas de Daumas Gassac has with the Languedoc. What sets Mas de Daumas Gassac apart is their unflinching commitment to pushing the boundaries — of the appellation’s rules, of conventional farming techniques, of “expected” grape varieties.

Aimé and Véronique Guibert purchased the land in the early 1970s; they had planned to start a farm, but weren’t sure what type of crops they wanted to grow. It took convincing from a Bordeaux-based soil scientist, who saw great grape-growing potential in the limestone-rich land, as densely mineral-laden as Burgundy’s Côte d’Or.

Making wine in the Languedoc is nothing new — the Greeks and Romans were doing it millennia ago. In planting their estate to vines, the Guiberts chose to buck local tradition and plant a wide (very wide) assortment of international grapes; there’s Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, sure, but also Petite Arvine, Tempranillo, Nebbiolo and more. Prior to owning the estate, the Guiberts traveled the world as part of a family leather business, and became enamored with grapes from far-off and exotic locales.

Perfect for Picnic, Central Park, Beach, Pool!

50% Syrah, 50% Carignan. This delightful salmon-pink wine is produced via direct press, imparting a delicate, pale but vivid pink color. Fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless steel tanks. Aromatics of strawberries and crushed red fruit leap from the glass. In the mouth, it is fresh with excellent acidity, some mineral components and good length. Very food friendly, it is a great companion to just about anything you want to throw at it.

Winemaker Description 

Sustainable. 100% Pinot Noir. Vibrant, mineral-accented strawberry, tangerine, and quince scents, along with subtle herb and floral nuances. Concentrated, yet lithe in character, offering sappy red berry and citrus fruit flavors that deepen steadily on the back half. The mineral note comes back strong on the long, seamless finish, which shows excellent clarity. 

Winemaker Description 

A perennial favorite from Southern Sicily, the Purato rosato is dry, bright, energetic and versatile. While it is delicious on its own, you really should try it with your next plate of charcuterie or alongside toasted bread with fresh ricotta, rosemary and olive oil. It just so also happens to be both Organic and Vegan!

Purato Rosé is a Sicilian wine made with the Nero d’Avola grape, and the winery is exceptionally environmentally friendly. This wine is not only organically farmed, but its production is also carbon-neutral and vegan-friendly, and it is packaged exclusively in recycled and recyclable materials. On the nose, it is surprisingly complex for an everyday rosé: notes of fruit, wet sand, sea breeze, but also orange honey and some spices. It’s fresh, simple and pleasant.

Pretty pale-pink, very limpid color with bluish reflections. This wine offers an exquisite nose with delicate notes of grapefruit and white flowers. Fresh and well-balanced, the palate is lively and reveals seductive aromas of citrus and sea iodine.

Viña Zorzal Rosado Garnacha is a rosé wine from the D.O. Navarra produced by the Bodegas Zorzal in Corella, Navarra. Founded in 1989, the winery focuses on working with native varieties and with the philosophy that a wine is made at the vineyard.

The vineyards used are over 30 years old and are situated in Ombatillo, Corella. The winemaking process is carried out using the saignée method, where the grapes (with their skins), are placed in stainless steel tanks, where they are left to macerate for a few hours and the must undergoes fermentation without being pressed.

 This is an elegant rosé, with a fruity character, yet fresh at the same time.

This rose wine is delicate, clean and minerally. Pale salmon in color. Fresh peach and strawberry on the nose with plenty of red berry fruits. Full bodied and dry, with pink grapefruit and hints of peach on the palate, lively acidity and a long finish.

Whispering Angel Rose is made by Sacha Lichine and his team at Chateau d'Esclans, in La Motte en Provence, south France. Made from grapes grown from some of the most choice land in the surrounding region of la Motte en Provence, consisting primarily of Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino) and Cinsault.

Tasting Notes: A beautifully pale pink, which is pleasing to the eye and draws one in. Palate : Fresh red berry fruit characteristics with floral notes. Ripe and fleshy feel on the palate. Finish : Great concentration. Smooth and round finish.

Expert Review (2024 vintage)

James Suckling 92 Points: A well-rounded, focused and delicious rosé showing dried raspberries, frozen strawberries and mild spices on the nose. Medium-bodied with bright acidity. Balanced and driven, with a lively center palate and a persistent, flavorful finish.
