Tiefenbrunner Vigneti delle Dolomiti Pinot Grigio — Alto Adige 2024
Tiefenbrunner is one of Alto Adige's most storied estates, farming the dramatic alpine slopes of the Dolomiti with a precision that few producers can match. Their Vigneti delle Dolomiti Pinot Grigio is the estate's signature white — a wine that captures the cool-climate purity and stony minerality of the Italian Alps in every glass. The 2024 vintage is bright, focused, and effortlessly refreshing, with the kind of alpine clarity that makes it one of the most compelling values in Italian white wine. Wine Spectator awarded it 89 points.
The nose is fresh and inviting: citrus zest, ripe nectarine, white pear, apricot, and white blossoms, with a delicate underpinning of meadow grass and ground ginger. On the palate, crisp minerality takes center stage — clean, linear, and precise — with flavors of white cherry, green almond, and stone fruit that carry through to a lively, refreshing finish. It is everything a great Pinot Grigio should be: light on its feet, honest, and deeply satisfying.
Wine Spectator 89 — "Ripe nectarine, apricot and white cherry fruit flavors are set in this lithe, lively white. There's an underpinning of stony mineral, while accents of green almond, white blossoms and ground ginger add subtle complexity and fragrance through the finish." (Vintage 2024).

Choose when time is of the essence
Made from 100% Pinot Grigio, this wine radiates youthfulness and purity of fruit. This is achieved through stainless steel fermentation and the use of a cork-free closure.
Wine Production Temperature-controlled fermentation at 68 °F in steel tanks followed by four months of aging on the fine lees in concrete vats prior to bottling.
Tasting Notes: Straw yellow in color with lemon reflexes, this Pinot Grigio is youthful and lively. In the nose this wine has aromas of citrus, white blossoms, pears, apples and meadow grass.
There is a fresh, crisp minerality and a clear finish.
Food Pairing: Wonderful as an apperativ as well as a wine that pairs well with butter-poached fish, scampi's, and pasta dishes such as pasta primavera.
Eric Guido writes: The 2022 Pinot Grigio opens with a sweetly scented bouquet of white flowers, stone dust and ripe peach. This is round and supple with saline minerals that add traction. It finishes with medium length and is crisply refreshing. - Vinous
Alison Napjus writes: Tangy orange peel acidity enlivens the ripe green apple and persimmon fruit flavors in this creamy, light-bodied white, with a salted almond note, plus hints of chive blossoms and verbena. Drink now. - Wine Spectator
