Grenache is best known as the primary grape in the Chateauneuf du Pape and Cotes du Rhône blends. For these wines, you can also search under Red Rhone Blends. Grenache is also a major player in Provence and the Languedoc.
Grenache is known as Garnacha in Spain, and Cannonau in Sardinia. More Grenache is actually grown in Spain than in France! There is a growing amount of Grenache grown in California, as well.
