This Appellation Pays d’Auge Contrôlée” Calvados is a blending of Calvados that have aged a minimum of 12 years in the oak casks of the Château du Breuil under the attentive care of the Cellar Master. It titrates 41%.It is characterized by an exceptional roundness that let aromas of apple, wood and almond express all their intensity in a refined and complex blend. It is a very well-balanced Calvados, a perfect harmony between the fruit and the wood.

Colour: Dark amber

Nose: Fruity and spicy with notes of dry apricot, citrus and nutmeg and then hints of leather appear

Mouth: Mild and well-rounded attack with notes of cocoa, wood to finish with liquorice. The length in mouth is persistent and then hints of pit appear

Chateau du Breuil 20 years XO XL from France, is the extra large variant with a capacity of no less than 2 liters! It is a soft calvados that is rich in full aromas. Chateau du Breuil 20 years XO is a mixture of different Calvados varieties, which are at least 20 years old. This combination makes the taste of the calvados sublimely soft with a nice sweet aspect.

Each Bas-Armagnac is strictly itself, with the name of the domain of origin, its vintage and the bottling date which tells its real age as eaux-de-vie stop aging once bottle.

The color of this 1996 vintage is gold with pretty brown highlights. Nose: The nose is very fruity carried by notes of quince, fig, orange jam and verbena. Tannins on the palate that are still young but very delicate. Finale: A beautiful length in the mouth characterizes this Darroze 1996 Armagnac.

Bas-Armagnac, whose capital is Eauze, is to the west of the appellation. It runs in the Landes and the western part of the Gers. It represents 67% of the areas identified in Armagnac. In this part of the land, the soils are sandy loam, called “tawny sands”. Bas-Armagnac eaux-de-vie are delicate and very fruity.

Nose: Clean and typical of Williams Pear, with no strange notes. The intense nose is an indication of the quality of the selection of the original fruits and delicate distillation. Very fruity, long lasting and truly inviting bouquet.

Palate: The rounded ‘’ grain ‘’ of the Pear is very noticeable. In the mouth, a very intense floral note gives great freshness. Intense fruity note, with an initial perception of fresh fruit overlaid by ripe fruit and marmalade or jam. Very prominent spicy endnote with a hint of Liquorice typical of williams pear.

Pinnacle Vodka starts with the finest wheat grain from the Brie region of France crushed up and heated to convert the starches into fermentable sugars. Next, the mixture is five times distilled producing a high-proof spirit. Distillation is the process of obtaining a high-alcohol mixture from the wash; rectification is the process of removing undesirable components such as methanol from this distillate.

This is done with a simple pot still by discarding the first and last parts of the distillate produced. This complex process ensures the highest quality and purity.The distillate is then filtered through charcoal, which is far superior than other methods used.

The spirit, after purification, is at 190 proof. It is then diluted to 80 proof by adding exceptionally clean, naturally filtered water from the soil of the Northern region of France.

Jason Wilson of Vinous writes 96 Points | Falling between VS and VSOP level, this four- to five-year-old is light golden and simple. It’s fruity on the nose and a little grapey, and on the palate, there’s a lot of creamy vanilla and a touch of spice. Not particularly a cocktail brandy due to its price. It is what it is.
