Domaine Roux Meursault Les Grands Charrons 2023 is a refined white Burgundy produced from Chardonnay in the celebrated village of Meursault. Les Grands Charrons is a well-regarded vineyard site situated near the Premier Cru climat of La Goutte d’Or, an excellent location for producing Chardonnay with both generous texture and pronounced mineral character.
The bouquet is expressive and layered, offering aromas of ripe pear, yellow apple, lemon, white flowers, and subtle notes of toasted hazelnut. With time in the glass, hints of fresh pastry, gentle spice, and stony minerality add complexity.
On the palate, the wine is rich and rounded while retaining excellent freshness and balance. Flavors of orchard fruit, citrus, and white peach are supported by a silky texture, finely integrated oak, and a firm mineral backbone. The finish is long and polished, with lingering notes of pear, hazelnut, and limestone.
