Domaine Roux Meursault Premier Cru Clos des Poruzots 2020 is a powerful and refined white Burgundy produced from Chardonnay in one of Meursault’s recognized Premier Cru vineyards. Clos des Poruzots is noted for marl and limestone soils that can give the wines both generous texture and a firm mineral structure. Crafted by the Roux family of Saint-Aubin, this is a concentrated expression of Meursault with excellent depth, balance, and aging potential.
The bouquet is layered and expressive, opening with aromas of ripe pear, lemon, white peach, and delicate white flowers. Notes of toasted almond, hazelnut, fresh pastry, and subtle spice emerge with air, adding complexity and richness.
