Champagne Wine
Champagne refers only to the sparkling wines produced in the Champagne region of France. No other sparkling wine can truly be called Champagne. It is made from three legal grape varieties - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Munier. A wine made from 100% Chardonnay can be called Blanc de Blancs. A wine made from 100% of the red grape varieties (Pinot Noir and Pinot Munier) can be called Blanc de Noirs.
