Piper Heidsieck RARE Rose Champagne 2008 750ml
Winemaker Description
The 2008 Rare Rosé is Piper-Heidsieck's second ever prestige cuvée rosé. This extremely premium and rare offering has been 11 years in the making. The legendary eye of Régis Camus saw a rare opportunity in the 2008 champagne vintage, a beautifully complex and eccentric vintage. It is an audacious wine, born of intuition, vision and aspiration – the very definition of Rosé.
Following an attack that is both elegant and generous the velvety texture unfurls to offer minerality and subtlety. Initially, the exuberant vitality of dark fruits and citrus is followed by vibrancy, smoky notes of star anise and violets.

Wine Spectator 97 Points | A vibrant Champagne, ballet-slipper pink in color, featuring intense flavors of nectarine, ripe raspberry, grilled nut, espresso and graphite, with a touch of dried sage, all riding the finely detailed mousse. Like a ballerina, this offers power in a graceful form. A beautiful skein of spice unravels on the lasting finish. Drink now through 2033.
Jeb Dunnuck 98 Points | The 2008 Champagne Rare Rosé is straight-up sensational. Only the second time they’ve produced this cuvée, it offers a deep, full-bodied, powerful yet chiseled and laser-focused style carrying loads of wild strawberry fruit as well as notes of orange blossom, spice, and crushed rocks. Backward, austere, yet simply loaded with potential, it needs a solid 4-5 years of bottle age and will drink brilliantly for two decades or more.

Pommery Champagne Cuvee Louise Vintage 2005 Brut Gift Box 750ml
Winemaker Description
Created as a tribute to Louise Pommery, Cuvée Louise is an absolutely pure wine which quintessentially conveys the wine-making expertise of the Pommery champagne house.
The wine has a yellow, slightly golden color with an exceptional brightness and limpidity. The effervescence is fine and delicate.
This 2005 is marked by floral notes in all their complexity. Owing to the long aging, notes of linden, hawthorn and vineyard peach. With its high purity, the bouquet is delicately blended with buttery notes. After aeration, the Pinot Noir expresses itself and the wine gains aromas of roasted hazelnuts and mild tobacco.
This wine is like a caress, its texture is velvety and creamy. The attack is frank, without asperity and imbalance. With incredible harmony and minerality, the heart of the tasting is intensive and structured. The finale, with the gentleness of honey and lemon, comes to punctuate this wine and provides the vintage with signature delicate flavor, noble bitterness and structure.

97 Points James Suckling | Grilled bread with flowers, pears and apples. Lots of perfumes. Lavender and some herbs and nutmeg. The palate is tight and solid with fine phenolics and a long, intense finish. Pure and extremely linear and lively. Sophisticated and thought-provoking.
92 Points Wine Spectator | A fresh and lacy Champagne, with a pleasing, creamy range of golden apple, blanched almond and lemon pound cake underscored by a streak of minerally saline and brine.
92 Points Wine & Spirits | A ghost of chardonnays past, this tastes like white grapefruit without the acidity, as if a grapefruit could age past its acidity and still remain fresh. From three estate parcels— chardonnay from Avize and Cramant, pinot noir from Aÿ—this is an elegant Champagne at a peak moment of maturity, flinty and airy with a deep leesy savor.

Robert Moncuit Champagne Grand Cru Les Grands Blancs Extra Brut NV 750ml
Winemaker Description
The Moncuit family has a long history of farming some of the best vineyards in the Côte des Blancs. They began purchasing land in 1889 and by 1928 were bottling at the domaine. The estate has 8 hectares planted in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and 2 hectares in Oger. All the wines assume optimum maturity, through fermentation in barrels (350 liters), systematic malolactic fermentation, aging of three years for the brut and five years for the vintages, aged for their part under cork.
The current winemaker, Pierre Amillet, is the fourth generation to lead the winery. If you spend any time with him you quickly realize he is obsessed with Chardonnay grown in the chalky terroirs of Le Mesnil.
Expert Reviews
Antonio Galloni of Vinous writes 92 Points | Moncuit's NV Extra Brut Les Grands Blancs is a blend of vintages 2014 and 2013. More importantly, it is a terrific expression of Mesnil. Lemon peel, white flowers, almond, sage and chamomile add lovely shades of nuance. The low dosage of three grams per liter works beautifully here. All the elements simply fall into place in this very pretty and deeply expressive Champagne from Moncuit. I loved it. Dosage: 3 gr/L. Disgorged: January, 2019.
William Kelly of the Wine Advocate writes 91 Points | Disgorged in September 2017, this bottle of Moncuit's NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is showing beautifully, bursting with aromas of warm bread, fresh peach, yellow apples and dried white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and nicely defined, with a pinpoint mousse, a generous core of fruit and attractive autolytic nuance.

Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Drink now through 2026.
90 Points Robert Parker | The latest rendition of Ruinart's NV Brut Rosé is a pretty, vibrant wine that offers up inviting aromas of tangerine, blood orange, plum and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and precise, with tangy acids and a pretty mousse, it's ca harming, comparatively vinous wine that is already showing well.
92 Points James Suckling | The appeal of this excellent rosé Champagne begins with the nose of red berries, ripe nectarine, coriander and red roses. Striking balance of delicate tannins, animating freshness and just a touch of creaminess. Long, very clean and dry finish. The cuvée is 55% pinot noir from Aÿ (some fermented as red wine) and 45% chardonnay. Drink now.

Taittinger Brut La Francaise Champagne 1.5 Liter MAGNUM
Our Professional Review
Oscar Garcia Moncada 67Wine.com | Taittinger La Francaise Brut NV has been a staple for generations in the Champagne world. Their legacy is one of a kind. This particular bottling opens up with a nose driven by notes of nectarines, hazelnut and some yeasty nuances. Light-bodied with a refreshing mouth-feel and nice consistent bubbles. Very fresh and enticing finish. The perfect NV Champagne to serve as an Aperitif.
Expert Reviews
Lettie Teague of the Wall Street Journal writes | Taittinger Champagne Brut La Française | The family-owned Taittinger Champagne house is synonymous with Chardonnay, from its acclaimed all-Chardonnay prestige cuvée, Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs, to this non-vintage bottling, which is 40% Chardonnay (the remainder, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier). Also notable: Unlike many large Champagne houses that buy most of their grapes from growers and own only a small amount of vineyards themselves, the Taittingers hold over 700 acres. This wine was produced from “at least” 35 different Champagne villages, according to a company fact sheet and spends almost four years on the lees. It is a dry, decidedly crisp, rather subtle and even delicate Champagne with notes of citrus and brioche. While I love the Taittinger Comtes de Champagne, at $200-$250 a bottle, it’s not one I can afford to drink very often. I’ll happily “settle” for drinking the Brut La Française for less than half the price. - Wall Street Journal December 16-17, 2023.
95 Points Tasting Panel | Bright and lively, this is one of my favorite non vintage Bruts. Crisp and balanced, with smooth, exuberant, Chardonnay-driven style; racy, elegant, and totally charming; long and memorable.
92 Points James Suckling | A dry, fresh and delicious Taittinger with aromas and flavors of apples, fresh lemons and minerals. Full-bodied. Precise. White pepper and salt at the end. 40% chardonnay and 35% pinot noir, the rest pinot meunier. Three to four years on the lees. Drink now.

Telmont Champagne Rose Brut Reserve NV 750ml
Winemaker Description
This exquisite blend of grapes, stemming from four different harvests, showcases its strong personality through a symphony of fruits and a full-bodied, elegant presence. Singular in its expression of terroir, a revelation of the variety that nature offers from one year to the next.
Réserve Rosé evokes romance and harmony. The initial nose reveals fresh red fruits with a touch of brioche. The first sensation is reminiscent of biting into a perfectly ripe Morello cherry, bursting with full and mature aromas. Powerful, yet remarkably subtle with an extraordinarily long-lasting finish.
Valentin Leflaive Champagne Blanc de Blancs a Oger Extra Brut CV/19/30 NV 750ml
Our Professional Review
Oscar Garcia Moncada | 67 Wine: The Leflaive family name boasts a long and distinguished winemaking tradition in Burgundy, making it perfectly fitting for them to extend this tradition north to Champagne. In February, I had the pleasure of tasting through the Valentin Leflaive Champagne lineup and was thoroughly impressed by each cuvée.
Winemaker Description
An elegant, fresh Blanc de Blancs from Valentin Leflaive that offers notes of yellow apples, candied lemons, freshly-baked bread and a clean salinity that lingers in the finish.
Expert Reviews - CV/19/30
James Suckling 93 Points | I like the biscuit and brioche aromas here. Some fig, walnut and apple crumble, too. It’s rich an creamy with delicious, toasty undertones. Rounded yet very fresh finish.
Vinous 92 Points | The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs CV1930 is a pure Chardonnay, with over half of the grapes picked in Vertus, 21% in Cramant and 27% in Bergères-les-Vertus. Based on the 2019 vintage with 56% reserve wines, it was fermented in stainless steel and matured on lees for 39 months. The nose is gently savory, suggesting salty corn husk, while the palate offers a silky mousse that pulses through the slender, sinuous body. This elegant wine leaves no doubt about its Côte des Blancs origins—a quintessential Blanc de Blancs of real elegance. "
Veuve Clicquot Champagne LA GRANDE DAME ARTIST SERIES JACQUEMUS EDITION 2018750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2015
98 Points Tasting Panel | With 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay from eight Grands Crus, this marks the 24th vintage of La Grande Dame since its inauguration in 1972. And what a finely wrought vintage it is already, with verve equal to its supple polish. Joining Bosc pear, sweet brioche, and lemon curd on the nose are fascinating nuances of smoke, stony minerality, and petrichor as well as jasmine and ginger; while the rippling palate builds steadily through peach and Asian pear to pomelo and tangerine peel to tangy sumac and white pepper on the finish. Stylish as ever.
95 Points Wine Spectator | This graceful Champagne offers hints of smoke and toasted brioche that transition to patisserie apple and blackberry fruit, candied ginger and mandarin orange peel notes. Seamlessly knit and mouthwatering, with a minerally underpinning and a finely detailed, dotted bead. Lush and creamy on the vibrant, lasting finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Drink now through 2035.
95 Points Wine Enthusiast | This fine Champagne is rich and beautifully structured. It is full with fine maturity, boasting layers of ripeness against the generous texture.

Veuve Clicquot ROSE NON VINTAGE Brut Champagne 750ml
Winemaker Description
This non-vintage Rose is the end result of a desire to create a Rose champagne with a delightfully luscious, fruit-based charm. Jacques Peters, the cellarmaster, and his team wanted a champagne that would be accessible and naturally engaging while conserving Veuve Clicquot's essential values in terms of style.
The wine has a luminous color with attractive pink glints. The nose is generous and elegant, with initial aromas of fresh red fruit (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry), leading to biscuity notes of dried fruits and Viennese pastries (almonds, apricots and brioche).

Vilmart & Cie Champagne 1er Cru Brut Grand Cellier NV 750ml
Expert Reviews
The Wine Spectator 94 Points | A mouthwatering Champagne that shows seamless integration of the plush and creamy mousse, rapierlike acidity and expressive range of peach, chopped nut, ripe green apple, star anise and honeysuckle aromas and flavors that persist on the long finish. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
The Wine Advocate 91+ Points | Vinified and matured in foudres, the NV Brut Cuvee Grand Cellier unfurls with aromas of spices, white flowers, lemon oil and pear, followed by a medium to full-bodied, tense and seamless palate built around a fleshy, vinous core of fruit enhanced by an ethereal and saline finish. Based on the 2021 vintage complemented with the 2020 and 2019 vintages, this blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir was disgorged with a dosage of seven grams per liter.
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points | Made from 70% Chardonnay and the remainder Pinot Noir, the NV Champagne Grand Cellier Brut was raised for 10 months in large foudre before spending 30 months sur latte. The nose is rounded and soft, with a delicate perfume of vanilla pastry, Anjou pear, and white flowers. The palate is rounded but dry, with citrus zest that lifts through the modest finish. Best After 2023.
Winemaker Description
The pale lemon shade with golden and green highlights is shimmering and luminous. This wine develops a fine, elegant and long-tasting mousse. On the first nose, the wine reveals white flower aromas (honeysuckle, lilac), citrus notes as well as fresh butter and cream. After airing, as it is getting warmer, this Champagne exhales another spectrum of aromas. The wine reveals spicy notes of ginger, lemongrass, which were unsuspected until then. The beautiful quality of the acidity (present throughout the tasting) is especially remarkable. The frank vinosity of the wine (roundness and alcohol) gives an impression of strength and freshness. The wine appears both broad yet tight. These various sensations produce a pure, creamy and silky textured wine. The finish is clean, slightly mineral and long. The last aroma is the grapefruit. The impression will be remembered as a harmonious, healthy and vibrant wine.
This wine pairs well with soft and creamy in texture meals. Fish such as sole or turbot with a mild sauce, fine crustaceans such as prawns or oysters are suggested. This champagne can also be tasted for aperitif.

The Wine Advocate by William Kelley writes 92 Points |
Generous and expressive, the latest rendition of Vilmart's NV Brut Premier Cru Cuvée Rubis is showing very well, bursting with aromas of red berries, plums, blood orange and dried flowers. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a sapid core of fruit, a pillowy mousse and a lively, delicately phenolic finish, it's already drinking well. This is based on the 2017 vintage, with reserve wines from the 2016 and 2015 vintages, and it was disgorged with nine grams per liter dosage.
- The Wine Spectator 93 Points | Fine and harmonious, this is lightly chalky and refined in texture, showing pinpoint integration of its well-spiced range of pureed raspberry, blood orange granita, lime peel, biscuit and mineral notes and its spine of chiseled acidity. Concentrated yet ethereal. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Disgorged July 2024. Drink now through 2030.
- Allen Meadows Burghound 91 Points | Medium ruby color. The moderately fruity nose is composed of raspberry, cherry, strawberry and lovely yeast, apple and citrus peel whiffs. The delicious and super-yeasty flavors possess fine depth on the clean and relatively dry finish, indeed this is notably drier than what is typical for the genre. Lovely and this is a wine that could be enjoyed now or held for a few years first.
- Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points | The NV Cuvée Rubis is vibrant pink, with aromas of wildflowers, wild raspberry, and juicy fruit. The palate is juicy and round, with blood orange, and perfect for relatively near-term drinking over the next 6-8 years.
