Domaine Sigalas MM I Mavrotragano Mandilaria Cyclades Aegean Islands 2022 750ml
Domaine Sigalas MM I — Mavrotragano & Mandilaria, Cyclades 2022
Domaine Sigalas is the most celebrated winery on Santorini — and one of the most important estates in all of Greece. Founded by Paris Sigalas, a mathematician turned winemaker, the domaine has spent decades proving that Santorini is not just a white wine island. The MM I is their flagship red: a 50/50 blend of Mavrotragano and Mandilaria, two of the Aegean's most ancient and distinctive indigenous red varieties, cultivated on the volcanic soils of Santorini and the Cyclades. Aged for one year in large oak casks, it is a wine of genuine character — punchy, food-driven, and unlike anything else in the world of Greek wine.
Deep crimson in the glass with a refreshing, aromatic nose of red fruit, cherry, and a finely blended bouquet of spice and earth. On the palate, it is vibrant and food-friendly with flavors of cherry, cassis, grilled watermelon, and apple cider, framed by firm, bitter tannins and lively acidity. Best served slightly cooler than a typical red to maximize its freshness and accessibility. A wine built for the table — especially cheese-heavy dishes.
Wine Advocate 91 Points — "Punchy flavors of cherry, cassis, grilled watermelon and apple cider. The tannins are bitter, and it might help to serve this wine one or two degrees cooler than normal to make it more accessible. It is inherently food-friendly, especially with cheese-heavy dishes like lasagna or pizza." (Vintage 2022).

Domaine Sylvain Cathiard Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits 2021 750ml
Winemaker Description
Cathiard is a tiny domain - there never is very much wine. You enter a spick and span white stucco suburban home in the center of the small village of Vosne Romanee. There is a walled vineyard outside the front door. Go down the staircase and you are in a minuscule cuverie and barrel room.
Sebastien Cathiard has been slowly assuming control of this top estate in Vosne-Romanée from his father Sylvain. He is now fully in charge, but the wines have been so good for so long that he wisely has changed very little. They continue to farm meticulously, de-stem and rigorously sort all the fruit prior to fermentation. The only thing he has changed is the gradual reduction of new oak, seeking a bit more purity of terroir expression.
Expert Review
"An ultra-fresh and very bright nose freely offers up its array of red berries, plum and even more floral wisps. There is again a lovely textured to the beautifully delineated and stony middleweight flavors that conclude in a youthfully austere, linear and chiseled finale. This is also really quite good and worth considering."

Domaine Tollot Beaut Aloxe Corton 1er Cru Les Vercots 2021 750ml
Tollot-Beaut’s Les Vercots 1er Cru is rustic and robust with aromas and flavors of red cherries, spice, and earth with substantial weight and ripe tannins. It is aged for 18 months in 50% new Burgundian pièce.
Red Burgundy might be the world’s most flexible food wine. The wine’s high acidity, medium body, medium alcohol, and minimal tannins make it very food-friendly. Red Burgundy, with its earthy and sometimes gamey character, is a classic partner to roasted game birds, grilled duck breast, and dishes that feature mushrooms, black truffles, or are rich in umami. Winemaker Description.
Jasper Morris | 11 barrels for one hectare equates to about 25 hl/ha. Because Vercots has a heavy soil they put some extra fine pinot clones in this vineyard, which has paid off in the quality of the fruit. Slightly paler in colour but with some finesse. A savoury sandalwood touch to the oak this time, but the vineyard tannins are not fierce. Made with an agreeably light touch. Drink from 2025-2030.

Burghound Allen Meadows 93 Points | Much more layered aromas are comprised by notes of wet stone, citrus confit, Granny Smith apple and pretty spice wisps. The dense but sleek and highly energetic larger-bodied flavors display impressive power and length on the compact, austere and impeccably balanced finale. This is excellent and a wine that is built to repay extended keeping.

Expert Review - Vintage 2022
Allen Meadows writes: An attractively spicy nose freely offers up aromas of dark pinot fruit, Savigny-style earth, violet and an interesting hint of white pepper. There is slightly better verve suffusing the lightly stony middleweight flavors that also possess a caressing but punchy mouthfeel on the lingering finale that is noticeably finer thanks to the fine-grained tannins. This too could be approached young though at least a few years of cellaring should be beneficial. - Burghound 90
Bruce Sanderson writes: A tangy red, this features spicy cherry, pomegranate, blood orange and toasty oak flavors. Nicely integrated, with a whisper of dusty tannins lining the finish. This is juicy, with the fruit resonating on the aftertaste. Best from 2027 through 2040. - Wine Spectator 90
Neal Martin writes: The 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Lavières 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet with black cherries and wild strawberry fruit, pure and refined. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe red fruit and light pastille notes, smooth and sensual towards the finish. Give this three or four years in bottle. - Vinous 91

Domaine Valentin Zusslin Cremant D'Alsace Rose Brut 2020 750ml
Winemaker Description
The Crémant d’Alsace Brut Zero Rosé from Valentin Zusslin is 100% made with Pinot Noir, raised according to the traditional method for 18 months on slats, without dosage or addition of sulphites. The dress has salmon shades typical of this grape variety and reveals a beautiful fine effervescence, a sign of a neat farm.
On the nose as in the mouth, it delivers net aromas of red fruits – currant, blackcurrant, raspberry – supplemented with sweet spices and gourmet notes of hazelnut or macaroon. The tasting shows it brightly, dry, very digestible and with a controlled aromatic finish.

Domaine Zafeirakis Limniona Rose Tyrnavos Greece Organic 2025 750ml
Domaine Zafeirakis Limniona Rosé Organic — Thessalia, Greece 2025 750ml
Christos Zafeirakis is one of Greece’s most important young winemakers — and the man single-handedly credited with reviving Limniona, an ancient indigenous variety that had nearly vanished from the world’s wine map. The fourth generation of his family to farm in Tyrnavos, in the PGI Tyrnavos zone of Thessaly in Central Greece, Christos returned home after studies and stages in Italy to plant his first organic vineyard in 2005. What followed was a quiet revolution: world-class, elegant wines from forgotten Greek grapes, made with love, knowledge, and deep respect for tradition. His Limniona Rosé is the most accessible expression of that mission — and one of the most original rosés in the world.
Soft salmon in color with brilliant clarity. The nose is expressive and aromatic: cranberry, wild strawberry, red fruit, delicate florals, caramel, and a whisper of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, lively acidity is beautifully balanced by the intensity of fruit, with an unexpected freshness and a subtle, appetizing bitterness that gives the wine an extra dimension. The finish is long, clean, and distinctly Greek.

Domaine Zafeirakis · Microcosmos Malagousia · PGI Tyrnavos · Thessaly · Greece · 2025
The Zafeirakis family has been practicing viticulture in Tyrnavos, in the heart of Thessaly in Central Greece, for more than a century. Christos Zafeirakis — the fourth generation — returned home after studies and stages in Italy to plant his first organic vineyard in 2005, driven by a philosophy of love, knowledge, and respect for tradition. The 2025 opens with beautiful aromas of stone fruit and citrus blossoms — fresh peach, apricot, and white flowers. On the palate, zippy bright acidity carries the fruit with elegance, balanced by a ripe, mineral character drawn from the flinty soils. Harmonious, fresh, and expressive from first sip to finish.

Dominio del Challao Angelita del Challao Rioja Alavesa La Bastida 2020 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2020
93 Points Robert Parker | The 2020 Angelita del Challao comes from a blend of different vineyards in the three valleys from Labastida, looking for a village wine; it was produced with 85% Tempranillo and the rest Garnacha, Mazuelo, Viura, Garnacha Blanca and other rare varieties from their own vineyards and purchased grapes. It fermented in concrete with indigenous yeasts, 40% full clusters that are foot trodden and the rest uncrushed grapes and matured in 225- and 500-liter barrels and 2,000-liter foudres—10 months with each plot separate—and then it was blended and let to settle in concrete for another 10 months. They look for a more approachable wine than Challao, with more floral aromas in a very elegant and harmonious way. The palate is medium-bodied with medium ripeness, 13.5% alcohol and very good freshness and acidity, balanced and harmonious, very tasty and with elegant, refined tannins. Really very good. 17,282 bottles and some larger magnums were filled in May 2022. (2020).
Dominio del Challao Challo Rioja Alavesa Vino Labastida 2020 750ml
Winemaker Description
Rioja is without question the most famous wine region in Spain, but the region is anything but homogeneous. The three sub-regions – Rioja Alavesa, Rioja Oriental and Rioja Alta – differ enormously. This wine comes from the small hamlet of Labastida in the northwest of Rioja Alavesa, the smallest and northernmost sub-region located in the Spanish Basque Country and characterized by calcareous clay and sandy soils.
The mastermind behind the Dominio del Challao winery is Manu Michelini, whose family makes incredibly fine, terroir-driven wines under the name Michelini i Mufatto at both their winery in Bierzo, in northeastern Spain, and the Argentine winery in Mendoza. The Challao is the winery's top wine. Medium ruby red with violet. There is significantly more intensity in the glass than with the Garnacha, but this wine still reminds me more of Burgundy than Bordeaux on the nose. The winery is clearly on the trail of elegance. Juicy, fresh wild berries, black cherries, rose petals and black Assam tea, that's delicately smoky.
Then come violets and freshly fired clay. In the mouth, cassis, fresh blackberries and lots of black cherry again. The intense, chalky minerality is phenomenal, building up gradually on the tongue. Delicately bitter, fresh herbs and a touch of After Eight. The tannins are fine and chalky, and as soon as you feel the structure, the next wave of black cherry washes over your tongue.
This is not at all what you imagine Rioja to be in the classic sense. But this wine is a lot of fun because of its freshness and mineral intensity without being boring. On the contrary, I am convinced that it will develop gracefully in the cellar for years because it is made for a long life. Super chic fabric and without question a Rioja in a class of its own!

Dominus Estate Napa Valley 2020 750ml
Expert Reviews
James Suckling 98 Points | Aromas of blackcurrants, black cherries, hints of graphite, wet earth, and lavender. Sandalwood. Full-bodied with an impressive and refined structure that runs deep and vertical in the wine. Chewy. Hints of chocolate and hazelnut at the end. Needs five or six years to soften
Wine Spectator 95 Points | This throws off dense kirsch and linzer torte aromas and flavors, along with a mix of smoldering tobacco, leather, warm paving stone and licorice root hints that provide a brooding edge on the back end. Surprisingly backward for the vintage and impressively done. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
Don Bocarte - Cantabrian Anchovies in Olive Oil (Spain, 1.69 oz)
Don Bocarte is widely regarded as the gold standard of Cantabrian anchovies, and one taste makes it immediately clear why. Hand-selected from the Bay of Biscay during the brief spring fishing season, each anchovy fillet is hand-cleaned, salt-cured for a minimum of 12 months, and packed in premium olive oil — a process that yields an extraordinarily silky texture and a deep, complex umami flavor that is rich without being overpowering. These are not a condiment; they are the main event. Drape over crusty bread with good butter, layer onto a simple pizza, or serve straight from the tin alongside a glass of something cold and crisp.
Pairing: A classic match with a chilled fino Sherry or a crisp Txakoli — the saline, mineral character of both wines mirrors the briny depth of these exceptional anchovies beautifully.
Don Fulano Reposado Tequila 100% Maduro & Pinto Agave 750ml
Producer Description
Don Fulano Reposado is the great representative of the spirit of Don Fulano: a marriage of mature highland agave with French limousine oak. It’s rich and buttery, yet strangely delicate and ethereal at the same time.
Cooked agave fully expresses itself and blends seamlessly with an herbal sweetness, hints of mature fruit compote and dark chocolate. There’s also a slight spice element which emerges from its delicate finish.
A joy to sip on its own, paired with food or in a great cocktail.
Don Fulano Tequila Anejo 100% Puro de Agave 750ml
Producer Description
Don Fulano Añejo is a marriage of very old tequilas aged in French limousine and nevers oak casks that previously held wines.
It’s deep and complex with dried fruits and spice elements like cardamom and allspice which complement elegantly the right touch of sweetness that comes from slowly cooked mature agave. Honey and caramelized nuts emerge from a long finish together with a refreshing light menthol.
Don Fulano Tequila Blanco Fuerte Overproof 100 Proof 750ml
Producer Description
Don Fulano Fuerte Blanco tequila is the original overproof; one of a kind, it is profoundly aromatic, full of spice and flavor and yet mellow with floral glimmers of Jasmin and orange blossom. It brings a direct connection with the agave fields, with its patient fermentation and its masterful distillation in copper alembics. Full bodied and generous in its complexity, its finish is full and prolonged. One for the connoisseur and epicurean, to sip neat or unbeatable in a fantastic cocktail.
Notes: Profoundly aromatic with floral glimmers of jasmin and orange blossom.
Palate: This overproof tequila fully shows its complex terroir, high minerality and wet cement.
Aroma: Yellow apple and cooked, mature agave round out this expression and make it soft and smooth despite its higher proof.
Nose: Grassines from volcanic well water shows in this pure and ethereal tequila.
Finish: Unusually generous in its complexity and long finish, this is a one-of-a-kind overproof.
Don Julio 1942 Anejo Tequila 750ml

Produced in small batches and aged for a minimum of two and a half years, Don Julio 1942 Anejo is handcrafted in tribute to the year that Don Julio González began his tequila-making journey.
Tasting Notes: It begins with rich caramel and chocolate on the nose that gives way to palate-coating flavors of agave, sun-ripened tropical fruits with vanilla-spiced undertones. The 1942 has a lingering finish of oak and rich vanilla.
