McManis Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2024 750ml
McManis Family Vineyards · Cabernet Sauvignon · Lodi AVA 2024
Family-owned McManis farms sustainably in Lodi AVA, sourcing most of this Cabernet’s fruit there and the rest from sustainable Central Valley vineyards. Aged 4–6 months in new and used French and American oak, the wine keeps its fruit-forward character while gaining structure.
Expert Review · 2024
Wine Enthusiast · 90 Points | This wine is concentrated, with lush aromatics of dark blackberries, boysenberries, cinnamon and orange zest on the nose. Supple acidity marks the finish. The palate is supple and rich, but not saturated, with lingering notes of mulberry, cassis and red currant confiture, layered with mocha, cigar and silky tannins. — Tonya Pitts
Winemaker Description
Dark garnet in color with juicy flavors of blueberry, blackberry, and black cherry. Most of the fruit comes from the Lodi AVA, with the remainder sourced from sustainable vineyards throughout the Central Valley. Harvested in late September, the Cabernet Sauvignon undergoes 7–9 days of fermentation on the skins before being pressed and finishing fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged on new and used French and American oak for 4–6 months, adding structure and a subtle layer of complexity to the fruit-forward profile.
Food Pairings
Grilled burgers, barbecue ribs, roasted chicken, pasta with meat sauce, mild cheddar and pizza.

Apothic Cabernet Sauvignon California 2024 750ml
Apothic · California · 2024
Apothic was built on the idea that California winemaking could be both approachable and genuinely pleasurable — wines that don’t demand patience or a cellar, just a good glass. On the palate it is silky and plush — soft, fine tannins provide richness without grip, while layers of dark cherry and spice from the Zinfandel addition keep things lively. Alexander Valley Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 750ml
Alexander Valley Vineyards is a family-owned estate with deep roots in one of California's most celebrated wine regions. The winery traces its lineage to 1840, when Cyrus Alexander arrived in the valley that now bears his name and declared it "the brightest and the best spot in the world." Today, the estate is guided by the Wetzel family, who have farmed these lands for generations with a commitment to sustainable viticulture and a singular focus on expressing the character of Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Alexander Valley AVA sits in northern Sonoma County, sheltered by the Mayacamas Mountains to the east and the coastal ranges to the west. With nearly 15,000 acres of winegrapes planted, Alexander Valley has earned its reputation as one of California's premier Cabernet destinations.
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from estate-grown fruit, harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified with care to preserve the varietal's natural depth and elegance. Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc Awatere Valley Marlborough New Zealand 2024 750ml
Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc — Awatere Valley, Marlborough 2024
Vavasour is the founding winery of Marlborough’s Awatere Valley — a cooler, more dramatic sub-region that was once considered too extreme for vines. In 1986, Vavasour planted the first vines in this windswept southern pocket, and the gamble paid off spectacularly. Today, with the oldest vines in the valley and an intimate understanding of this unforgiving landscape, Vavasour produces Sauvignon Blanc of extraordinary elegance, perfume, and texture. Decanter awarded the 2024 vintage 91 points.
The nose is serious and expressive: fresh herbs, gooseberry, nettle, tropical fruit, and bright citrus with a rocky, salty mineral edge that speaks unmistakably of Awatere. On the palate, it is concentrated and focused — ripe stone fruit and a distinct minerality that holds up beautifully to rich, spicy foods. Vibrant, varietal, and rooted in place.

Encomienda de Cervera Vulcanus Sauvignon Blanc/Verdejo — Campo de Calatrava 2025
Encomienda de Cervera is one of Spain’s most singular estate wineries — a historic property with documented vineyard records dating to 1741, situated in the Campo de Calatrava, a volcanic appellation in Castilla-La Mancha that remains one of the country’s best-kept secrets. The estate’s vineyards grow on volcanic soils at 750–850 meters of altitude, cooled by mountain microclimates with cold nights that preserve natural acidity and generate exceptional aromatic complexity. Vulcanus — named for the volcanic terroir that defines it — is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Verdejo, harvested selectively during the coolest hours of the day at optimal ripeness. Certified organic, the wine is fermented in restored 1927 concrete tanks that impart a distinctive creaminess through malolactic fermentation. This is Spanish white wine from a place unlike any other.
The color is a bright straw yellow. The nose is floral, fresh, and expressive: white flowers, white peach, currant, citrus, and aromatic herbs, with the stony, mineral undercurrent of volcanic soil. On the palate, it is mineral, elegant, and complex — refreshing acidity, a round and creamy mid-palate from concrete tank fermentation, and a long, clean, and satisfying finish. Klein Constantia Sauvignon Blanc 2024 750ml 91 Points, Vinous
Klein Constantia Sauvignon Blanc — Constantia, South Africa 2024
Klein Constantia is one of South Africa's most historic and celebrated estates, situated in the Constantia Valley on the slopes of the Cape Peninsula — a site with a winemaking legacy stretching back to the 17th century and home to the legendary Vin de Constance. Their Sauvignon Blanc is a wine of genuine craft and ambition: sourced from 42 individual vineyard blocks across the estate, each fermented separately to allow the terroir of each parcel to express itself before careful blending. Grapes are harvested at 4am to preserve freshness, and the winemaking is a meticulous balance of wild and inoculated fermentation — 80% wild (some ferments taking up to two months to complete), 20% with Non-Saccharomyces Cerevisiae for complexity and natural microbial protection. Ten percent is aged in neutral 500L oak barrels, and the wine spends six months on gross lees before blending and bottling.
The 2024 pours light and bright. The nose is perfumed and atypically complex for Sauvignon Blanc — grapefruit, lime, kiwi, yellow plum, and hints of mango, with a citrus blossom and umami thread. On the palate, it's moreish and textured with a crisp entry, quince, light walnut, flinty mineral elements, and a fresh salinity that gives it real energy. The finish is long, vibrant, and expressive — fanning out beautifully with aeration. Real texture for the variety.

98 Points James Suckling
Winemaker Notes
This 2023 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon will certainly evolve in the cellar, but it has been crafted to be enjoyed right away. Dark red fruits, red raspberries, graphite and exotic woods are just a few of the complexities that come forward immediately. The savory tones and freshness of Coombsville meld well with the generous black fruits and solid structure of Oakville. Careful tannin extraction, barrel aging for twenty months in 50% new French oak barrels, and botting without fining or filtration, ensure that the wine retains fruit intensity and maintains its bold texture and generous length.

Ferrari Carano Sauvignon Blanc Fume Blanc 2024 750ml
Ferrari Carano Fumé Blanc — Sonoma County 2024
Ferrari Carano's Fumé Blanc is one of Sonoma County's most distinctive takes on Sauvignon Blanc — a wine built around the winery's signature style of blending stainless steel freshness with the subtle richness of neutral French oak. The 2024 vintage is crafted from 100% Sauvignon Blanc with 30% aged in neutral French oak and 70% in stainless steel. The result is a white wine of uncommon depth: vibrant and crisp on the entry, yet round and generous through the mid-palate, with a lees-driven creaminess that sets it apart from the typical Sauvignon Blanc.
The nose is bright and inviting: grapefruit, lemon pith, kaffir lime, and a touch of flint, with lifted white flower and stone fruit accents. On the palate, the wine opens with melon, apricot, and papaya, building toward notes of apple and white tea, with a creamy mid-palate and a fresh, vibrant finish. It is precise, polished, and deeply satisfying — the kind of white that rewards both casual drinking and the dinner table equally.
“Aromas of grapefruit, lemon pith, kaffir limes and flint. The light-bodied palate has notes of melons, apricots, white flowers and papayas. Fresh and vibrant with a generous texture. Delicious.” — James Suckling, 92 pts. (Vintage 2024).
“Richer than the average Sauvignon Blanc, the winery’s iconic nod to this style includes the use of 30% neutral French oak along with 70% aging in stainless steel. Made from a warm vintage, it shows notes of apple, apricot, and white tea, and you can experience the weight of the lees stirring on the round, creamy middle.” — Tasting Panel, 92 pts. (Vintage 2024).

Expert Reviews - Vintage 2017
Vinous Antonio Galloni 97 Points | The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is sure to make Dunn fans happy. Powerful and ample, it marries the natural intensity of the year with the savoriness that makes Howell Mountain Cabernets so distinctive. Dark blue/purplish fruit, graphite, spice, leather, dried herbs and lavender imbue the 2017 with striking intensity and character. I can't wait to see how it ages. The 2017 is a positively stunning edition of the Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Drinking 2027 - 2047.
Robert Parker Joe Czerwinski 96 Points | Already more open than the 2018 Howell Mountain, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain boasts slightly piney, resinous herb notes—thyme and rosemary—along with classic cassis and blueberry fruit. Yes, there's a cedary coat of oak, but the fruit comes through loud and clear, adding a rich, velvety textural component and mouthwatering berry flavors on the lingering finish. Drinking 2025 - 2040 - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 96+
Wine Spectator James Molesworth 95 Points | Fresh ripe cassis, blackberry and plum fruit flavors course through, carried by tar and apple wood notes that are well-embedded, giving this a muscular but sleek feel. Features a great tug of dark earth and licorice snap on the palate-staining finish. Best from 2023 through 2038.
Cloudy Bay Te Koko Sauvignon Blanc 2023 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2023
The Wine Spectator 91 Points | "Juicy and intense, with concentration to the passionfruit, pineapple, Key lime and kumquat flavors at the core. Details of toasted green tea, lemon thyme and makrut lime leaf add aromatic intensity, with a touch of crunchy sea salt on the finish. Drink now. 8,259 cases made, 207 cases imported."
Winemaker's Notes:
Te Koko 2023 is initially reticent on the nose, but with time in the glass opens to reveal notes of just-ripe mango, lemon verbena and juicy sun-warmed lemon. The palate is concentrated and mouthwateringly complex. The sun-warmed impression continues, with notes of meadow hay, preserved citrus, and white nectarine, with layers of salted almond and a gentle smoky minerality leading through to a long and focused finish.
